Abstract

The purposes of this research were to : 1) Analyze the use of family labor differences before and after the fall in prices, 2) Analyzing differences in the use of fertilizer before and after the fall in prices, 3) Analyzing the rubber farm income difference before and after the fall in prices. This study was conducted in Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra Province to take the District Payaraman, and subsequently taken Payaraman village and the village of Lubuk Bandung as a sample. The choice of location research done intentionally (purposive) on the basis that this location is predominantly doing rubber farming as the main source of livelihood besides rubber farmers in the village of Lubuk Bandung Payaraman and active program of plantation activities. The data was collected in February to April 2016. The sampling method used in this research is the method of Random Sampling Layered Not Balanced (disproportionate stratified sampling) with the number of respondents was 60 sample, consist of 30 villages and 30 villages have not advanced forward. The result of this research showed that The allocation of labor in the family farmer in rubber tapping activities, cleaning the garden and fertilization on average/th in the village Payaraman and in the village of Lubuk Bandung before the fall in prices in the amount of 486.4 HOK/th and after the fall in prices is equal to 423.43 HOK/th. Total use of fertilizer before the fall in prices in the village Payaraman and in the village of Lubuk Bandung which amounted to 43.810 lg/th while expanding arable after the fall in prices in the amount of 15.550 lg/th. The average value of the rubber farmers use fertilizer before the fall in prices is Rp. 1.80165 lg/th and after the fall in prices is Rp. 702.600 lg/th. Rubber farmers' income before the fall in prices in the village Payaraman and in the village of Lubuk Bandung is Rp. 69,303,761 lg/th and income after the fall in prices is Rp. 21,300,341 lg/th.

Abstract

Utilization of tidal land to support food security requires agricultural intensification, related to the limited ecological conditions. Technical research related to agricultural intensification in tidal land has been carried out, but the socio-economic aspects related to it have not been widely studied. This research is a quantitative research with survey research techniques. The research was carried out in 2017 in Banyuasin Regency and Musi Rawas Regency with a sample of 211 out of 1083 farmers applying various types of agricultural intensification. The results of this study was pointed that intensification has a negative impact on the allocation of working time and unemployment, but has a positive impact on income and productivity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze household consumption and the level of welfare of water apple farmer households in Tebing Gerinting Utara Village, South Indralaya District, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The research location was determined purposively with the consideration that the majority of the population in Tebing Gerinting Utara Village are water apple farmers. Sampling was taken randomly and only 30 samples were taken from a total of 613 water apple farmers. The analysis was carried out to answer the objective, namely using descriptive analysis and the Household Food Expenditure Share test and the Good Service Ratio (GSR) test to analyze the level of welfare of water apple farmer households. The research results obtained in this study are the household expenses of water apple farmers in Tebing Gerinting Utara Village is IDR 12,518,200/year which is divided into two categories, whicis food expenditure is IDR 5,401,200/year with the largest expenditure being the purchase of rice and non-food expenditure is Rp. 7,116,800/year with the largest expenditure is for purchase farmer's tobacco consumption. From the results of the PPP and GSR tests, it was found that water apple farmers in Tebing Gerinting Utara Village were able to buy and meet the main needs of their households and economically, farmer households were considered to be prosperous.

Abstract

This study examines the relationships between knowledge sharing, effective leadership, work behavior, and performance in Sekretariat Daerah Denpasar. The aim is to investigate how knowledge sharing and effective leadership influence performance, mediated by work behavior. Data was collected from 83 respondents through questionnaires, and multiple linear regression and path analysis were used for analysis. The results demonstrate significant and positive effects of knowledge sharing and effective leadership on work behavior within Sekretariat Daerah Denpasar. This emphasizes the importance of promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and developing effective leadership behaviors to enhance employee work behaviors. Furthermore, the study reveals significant and positive impacts of knowledge sharing, effective leadership, and work behavior on performance, highlighting their role in driving organizational success. Importantly, work behavior is identified as a mediating variable in the relationships between knowledge sharing, effective leadership, and performance. Positive work behaviors, including collaboration, communication, and adaptability, mediate the influence of knowledge sharing and effective leadership on performance outcomes. These findings underscore the significance of fostering positive work behaviors and creating a supportive work environment. The practical implications suggest that Sekretariat Daerah Denpasar should prioritize initiatives that enhance knowledge sharing practices, develop effective leadership skills, and foster positive work behaviors. By investing in these areas, the organization can improve employee engagement, collaboration, and productivity, ultimately leading to enhanced performance outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of promotions and convenience of service on customer loyalty through the choice to transact using QRIS. This research is a quantitative investigation utilizing SPSS 26. The target population for this study consists of bank clients, with a sample size of 100. Data collection methods involve the use of a questionnaire. Based on the data analysis, it can be deduced that promotions and convenience of service have a noteworthy impact on transaction decisions using QRIS. Promotions and convenience of service significantly influence customer loyalty when utilizing QRIS. Transaction decisions do not significantly influence customer loyalty when using QRIS. Indirectly, promotions have a significant impact on customer loyalty through transaction decisions using QRIS. Indirectly, convenience of service has a significant impact on customer loyalty through transaction decisions using QRIS.

Abstract

One of the rice policies was the government purchase price policy which was the price in grain or rice purchases by the Government at producer level to be stable become government rice reserves. The point of this research was to define the impact of the government purchase price policy of rice for producers and consumers. This research was conducted using qualitative analysis with descriptives based on tabulations of secondary data. Results of the research showed that government purchase price was part of the government's efforts to protect the basic price of grain and rice at the farm level thus creating affordable input prices and providing economic added value to farmers. The study found that an improvement in government purchase price  by 18-20% could increase the price of grain and rice from March to August 2023. The total percentage change in prices from March to August 2023 for dry harvested grain was 10.3%, dry milled grain was 10.8%, premium rice was 0.6%, medium rice was 3.2% respectively. Meanwhile, the impact on consumers of this policy was the occurrence of inflation of 0.41% which caused rice prices to increase. The government should evaluate the Government Purchasing Price (GPP) gradually every year.

Abstract

The aims of this research are (1) Analyzing changes in the economic conditions of irrigated rice field farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village , (2) Analyzing the feasibility of farming irrigated rice farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village. The research results showed that there were significant changes in the economic conditions of rice field farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village, which occurred in production costs which increased by 20.83 percent after the Covid-19 pandemic. Household income increased by 36.71 percent after the Covid-19 pandemic. Farmer household consumption expenditure increased by 27.38 percent per year after the pandemic compared to during the Covid-19 pandemic. The area of cultivated land and the total allocation of working time in rice farming during and after the Covid-19 pandemic did not experience significant changes. The feasibility of farming carried out by irrigated rice field farmers during and after the Covid-19 pandemic in Karang Tengah Village is feasible. Abstract

Indonesia is known as an agricultural country that prioritizes the agrarian sector with the majority of the Indonesian population working as farmers. Musi Rawas Regency is a producer of food commodities and has a large contribution to the agricultural sector in South Sumatra. This research aims to analyze the mechanism of selling rice harvests, to compare the sales and consumption of rice harvests, and to analyze the factors influencing farmers' decisions to sell rice harvests in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra. The study was conducted in Megang Sakti II Village with rice farmer respondents who met specified criteria, using interview and questionnaire methods, and sample selection through purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that the mechanism for selling rice harvests is in the form of dried milled rice, with a milling payment system deducting 10% from the total rice, and the entire sales are marketed to middlemen. The average sale of rice harvests is 77.48%, with a consumption percentage of 22.52%. The independent variables that significantly influence farmers' decisions to market rice harvests in Megang Sakti II Village are production result with a value of 0,040 and household income with a value of 0,025. Abstract

It is often excluded from the handling of illegal logging and deforestation is the release of the socio-economic aspects in problem solving deforestation and forestry development. The purpose of this study was to: 1. Identify the socio-economic characteristics of the migrant who become illegal loggers, 2. Analyze the amount of illegal loggers' income and its allocation to the consumption, and 3. Develop a strategy to overcome illegal logging and forest deforestation based on the socio-economic characteristics of the logger. The analysis showed that socio-economic conditions of the migrant who become illegal loggers illustrates that they are still a low level of education and have productive age. Income earned Rp 4,301,211.00/year/family, lower than the income of Rp 33,070,945.00/year/family after migrating. Income get from illegal logging are Rp 13.087.945/year/family. Average migrant allocates 60.81 % of its total income for consumption, and the remaining 39.19 % is allocated to farming and non-farming activities. This study suggests that there should be an increase in revenue breakthrough in the area of origin to be able to suppress the migration process becomes illegal loggers to other areas. Low income is the core problem of farmers to migrate. Required two basic designs: (1) social engineering with community and (2) technical engineering in the direction of the multiproduct and multifunctional forest benefits to overcome the problems of forestry in the long run.
