Abstract

This research is entitled Study of Guano and Urea Fertilizer Dosage on Growth and Yield of Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.). The research was carried out at the Tohudan Food Crops and Horticulture Seed Garden, Karanganyar from December 2021 to February 2022. Using a 2 factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and 3 repetition. Guano fertilizer (G) as factor 1 consisted of 4 levels, namely: G0 (Control), G1 = guano at 4.7 grams, G2 = guano at 9.4 grams, G3 = guano at 14.1 grams. Urea fertilizer (N) as factor 2 consisted of 4 levels, namely: N0 = (Control), N1 = urea dose of 2.7 grams, N2 = urea dose of 5.4 grams, N3 = urea dose of 8.1 grams. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance with a further BNJ test with a level of = 5%. The results showed that guano fertilizer (G) had an effect on leaf number, leaf area, dry weight of stover, pod weight, seed weight and seed dry weight with the best dose of 9.4 grams/plant. Urea (N) fertilizer affected plant height, number of leaves, number of pods, pod weight and seed weight with the best dose of 5.4 grams/plant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of champor with the active ingredient Naftalen on pest mortality Rizhopertha dominica seed powder pests and the effect of varieties on the intensity of attacks. The study was conducted using factorial completely randomized design (RAL) with 3 replications and 24 combinations. The first factor is the dose of camphor (C) consisting of 4 levels of C1 = 0 mg / 0.5 kg; C2 = 0.5 mg / 0.5 kg; C3 = 1 mg / 0.5 kg; C4 = 1.5 / 0.5 kg. The second factor is the type of variety (V) with 3 levels, namely V1 = Ciherang; V2 = Sintanur; V3 = Situbagendit. The results of the study, based on analysis of test Annova with the level of 5% stated that the application interaction with varieties of camphor significant effect on mortality Rizhopertha dominica. Further test results Duncan Multiple level of 5%, Aplication of camphor with the highest mortality values on C2 level of 0.5 mg / 0.5 kg of rice seeds was significantly different from the other dose. Varieties significantly affect the intensity of pest attacks warehouse dominica Rizhopertha seed powder, with a low intensity of the attack on the variety of different V3 Situbagendit real Ciherang varieties V1 and V2 Sintanur. Varieties significantly affect the intensity of pest attacks the best combination of each of the first factor and the second factor is Ciherang 0.5 mg / 0.5 kg (C2V1); Sintanur with a dose of 0.5 mg / 0.5 kg (C2V3); Situbagendit at a dose of 1 mg / 0.5 kg (C3V3).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see if there was an effect of giving cow urine liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of three varieties of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The activity will be held on December 14, 2021 until February 5, 2022 at the Research Garden and Land Collection, Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, which is located on Jl. Jaya Wijaya No. 384, Kadipiro Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta. Split plot design (RPT) or split plot design used in this study consisted of 2 factors and then replicated 3 times. The first factor is the variety (V) consisting of 3 levels including the Jelita variety (V1), Silila variety (V2) and the Teho variety (V3), the second factor is POC volume treatment with 4 levels, namely no volume (D0), volume 150 ml (D1), volume 300 ml (D2), volume 450 ml (D3). The data obtained were studied using Analysis of Variation (Anova) and then the Tukey test was carried out at the 5% level. After the research, liquid organic fertilizer of cow urine did not show a significant effect on the growth and yield of three eggplant varieties.

Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the response between cow manure and NPK fertilizer which affects the growth and yield of sorghum plants. The activity was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta on November 18, 2021 to March 16, 2022, with a 2 factor completely randomized design (CRD), then replicated 3 times. The first factor used cow manure (S) with 4 levels, namely (S0) Control, (S1) dose of 120 grams/polybag, (S2) dose of 240 grams/polybag, (S3) dose of 360 grams/polybag. The second factor is NPK fertilizer (N), (N0) Control, (N1) at a dose of 3 grams/polybag, (N2) at a dose of 6 grams/polybag, (N3) at a dose of 9 grams/polybag. The conclusion of this study is that the concentration of cow manure treatment at 120 grams/polybag and NPK fertilizer dose of 6 grams/polybag gave the best results at plant height of 260.07 cm, number of leaves 8.51 sheets, stem circumference 9.43 cm, seed weight per panicle. 169.67 grams, the number of seeds per panicle 1062.65 seeds, dry stover weight 1567.23 grams, dry stover weight 1344.66 grams.

Abstract

Three types maize have been studied to measure growth and production in the dry land of Agroedupark Malang. This study is needed to obtain the types maize that tend to be suitable, in addition to land improvement if the three types of corn are to be developed in the same garden. The results showed that the three types of corn studied had growth performances similar to their descriptions, but purple sweet corn tended to be the best compared to white and hybrid varieties. However, the three types of corn studied had a production level of <50% of their potential production. It is recommended to use organic matter as an alternative in improving soil fertility so that corn productivity increases.

Abstract

One of the organizations that supports Indonesia's agribusiness sector, particularly the supporting sub-system, is the Agricultural and Rural Training Center Self (P4S). The researcher's goal is to examine how village community assets have grown at P4S Hikmah Farm. The study took place between April and August of 2022. At P4S Hikmah Farm in Tretek Village, Pare District, Kediri Regency, the research was conducted. analysis of research data using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings revealed that: 1) the Agricultural and Rural Self-Help Training Center's (P4S) development of village community assets was excellent and took full advantage of every local village potential to enhance P4S performance;2) Due to P4S's emphasis on education, training, and the development of agricultural human resources, human resource assets are very important in organizing operations; 3) Social assets in P4S Hikmah Farm are also problematic since they are linked to community empowerment, particularly for farmers.

Abstract

The study entitled The Effect of Mycorrhizal Fertilizer on Growth and Yield of Three Soybean Varieties (Glycine max L. Merr) was conducted from December 20, 2021 to March 24, 2022, at the Seed Garden of Food Crops and Horticulture Tohudan, Klipan, Gedongan Village, Colomadu District, Karanganyar Regency. This study aimed to determine the effect of mycorrhizal fertilizer on the growth and yield of three soybean varieties (Glycine max (L.) Merrill). The study used a split plot design (RPT) or a split plot design consisting of 2 treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the variety (V) with 3 levels, namely the Anjasmoro variety (V1), the Argomulyo variety (V2) and the Grobogan variety (V3). grams / polybag (M1), 15 grams / polybag (M2), 22.5 grams / polybag (M3). Parameters observed included plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), number of pods per plant (fruit), pod weight per plant (g), number of seeds per plant (grain), dry seed weight per plant (g), weight 100 seeds (g). The varietal treatment had an effect on the plant height of the Anjasmoro varieties 52.71 cm high per plant, Argomulyo 50.38 cm planting, and Grobogan 44.63 cm planting. The largest number of Argomulyo leaves was 101.63 leaves per plant, Grobogan 87.08 leaves per plant, and Anjasmoro 68.63 leaves per plant. The number of pods of Anjasmoro was 140.46 per plant, Argomulyo was 126.00 per plant and Grobogan was 90.50 per plant. The number of seeds per plant for Argomulyo was at most 341.42 grains, Anjasmoro was 300.79 grains, and Grobogan was 201.92 grains. Argomulyo seeds weigh 50.62 grams per plant, Grobogan 39.81 grams per plant, and Anjasmoro 34.11 grams per plant. The application of mycorrhizal biofertilizer affects the weight of 100 seeds with a dose of 22.5 grams / polybag on the Grobogan variety weighing 23.97 grams.Keywords : Soybean, Mycorrhizal, Varieties

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capillary system irrigation applications and various growing media on tomato plants and their interactions. The research was conducted in Klidang Wetan Village, Batang District, Batang Regency, Central Java at an altitude of 2 m above sea level. The experimental design used was a split plot with the main plot of the irrigation system, the sub plot was the type of planting media, with 3 replications. The first factor is the type of capillary irrigation system /W (W1 = automatic capillary system irrigation, W2 = manual capillary system irrigation) and the second factor is the type of planting medium /M (M0 = soil, M1 = soil + sand + husk charcoal /1:1: 1/, M2 = soil + husk charcoal + manure /1:1:1, M3 = soil + sand + husk + manure /1:1:1). Data were analyzed by F test, if significantly different, then followed by BNT (Least Significant Difference) 5%. The variables observed were plant height, number of leaves per plant, widest leaf area, stem diameter, longest root length, flowering time, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per fruit. fruit weight per plant, root weight. The results showed that capillary irrigation had a significant effect on the longest root length and flowering time, significantly different on the number of leaves per plant, stem diameter, number of fruits per plant, and fruit weight per plant. The best results are achieved in the application of manual capillary irrigation systems. The type of planting media significantly influenced the observed variables on plant height, number of leaves per plant, widest leaf area, stem diameter, longest root length, flowering time, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, observational variables but on the variable fruit weight per fruit. and root weight had no significant effect. The best results were achieved in the treatment of soil + husk charcoal + manure planting media (1:1:1). The interaction between capillary system irrigation and types of planting media was significantly different on the variables of stem diameter, plant height, flowering time, and not significantly different on the variables of number of leaves per plant, widest leaf area, longest root length, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per fruit. , fruit weight per plant, and root weight. The best results were achieved in the application of manual capillary irrigation system with various planting media of soil + husk charcoal + manure (1:1:1).

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to determine the participation of farmers in accessing credits (KUR) in corn farming. The specific objectives of this research are: (1) to identify the diversity of farmers' access to KUR, (2) to identify variables that correlate with farmers' access to KUR, and (3) to identify the active role in farmer’s group (KT) on KUR access. This research was conducted on 104 corn farmers who are members of the Farmers Group in four villages in Bone Bolango District, Gorontalo Province, namely Dumbaya Bulan Village, Butu Village, Tunggulo Village, and Bunuo Village. The results of this study indicate that there are variations in access to KUR by farmers, where farmers generally do not have access to KUR. Among the demographic items, none of the variables correlated with farmers' access to KUR. Meanwhile, the activeness of farmers in KT has a significant effect on increasing farmers' access to KUR.

Abstract

This study aims (1) to analyze the impact of using combine harvesters on rice farming income in paddy fields (2) analyzing the effectiveness of using combine harvesters for natural resources in rice farming in paddy fields.This survey research method was conducted by interviewing a number of respondents calculated by the Slovin equation. The data were analyzed by descriptive quantitative.The results showed that (1) the income of lowland rice farming using the combine harvester yielded higher grain production compared to not using the sickle, thresher and manual container harvesting equipment, (2) the effectiveness of using the combine harvester harvesting equipment, namely lower harvest costs, time faster, less labor required at harvest but damage to bunds can cause problems if harvesting is not simultaneous in one area.
