Abstract

This study entitled The Effect of Various Lengths of Entries on the Success of Insertion of Mango (Mangifera indica L.). with the aim of knowing the effect of various lengths of entries on the success of insertion of mango (Mangifera indica L.). This research was carried out in November 2021 – January 2022 located at the Tohudan Food Crops and Horticulture Garden. This study used a single factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experimental design with treatments P1 (4 Cm), P2 (8 Cm), P3 (12 Cm), P4 (16 Cm), P5 (20 Cm). In this study there were 5 types of treatment with 5 replications, each type of experiment contained 2 plants so that there were a total of 50 plants. To determine whether there was an effect of treatment, this study used ANOVA analysis of variance data followed by DMRT test with a level of 5%. Parameters observed were the number of shoots, shoot length, number of leaves, stem diameter, and the success of insertion of finished seedlings. The results showed that the P4 (16 Cm) treatment gave the best grafting results compared to the other treatments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction effect of tea extract and the number of seeds per hole on the growth and yield of celery plants. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL), which consisted of 2 factors, each treatment combination replicated 3 times. The two factors were: (1) the number of seeds per hole (S), with 3 levels, namely: S1: 1 seed per hole, S2: 2 seeds per hole, S3: 3 seeds per hole. (2) tea extract, with 4 levels, namely: T0: control, T1: dose of tea extract 1 ml/hole, T2: dose of tea extract 2 ml/hole, T3: dose of tea extract 3 ml/hole, obtained 12 treatment combinations. Analysis of the data using Analysis of Variation (ANOVA), if it is significantly different then a further test is carried out, namely the 5% level BNT test. The results showed that: (1) the interaction between the application of tea extract and the number of seeds per hole did not affect the growth and yield of celery plants, (2) the treatment of tea extract 3 ml/hole with 2 seeds per hole gave the best results on the wet weight of the stover. of 130.77 grams per hole is equivalent to 10.9 tons/Ha. Abstract

Long beans (Vigna sinensis L.) are shrubs which are a type of leguminous plant. Long beans are creeping upwards. The research was carried out in Hamlet Temulus, Tunggulrejo Village, Jumantono District, Karanganyar Regency, from November 17, 2021 to January 21, 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing Phonska fertilizer and 3 varieties on the growth and yield of long beans. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized block design (CRBD) which was arranged in a Split Plot design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor used 3 varieties, namely Parade tavi, Merah Putih Super and Fagiola IPB. The second factor is the use of 4 doses of Phonska fertilizer, 0 grams, 2.5 grams, 5 grams and 7.5 grams. This research shows that of 2.5 grams of Phonska fertilizer on the varieties of Merah Putih Super and Fagiola IPB on the yield of 4 long bean harvests had an effect on the number of fruits 51.83 and 42.99 fruits.

Abstract

This study entitled The Effect of NPK Fertilizer Dosage and Shallot Litter on the Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.), this study aims to analyze the effect of doses of NPK fertilizer and shallot leaf litter on the growth and yield of shallots, which be held from July - September 2021. The research was carried out in Polo, Kenteng, Nogosari, Boyolali with an altitude of 152 meters above sea level. The type of soil used is regosol soil. This study used the Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) method which was arranged in a factorial manner consisting of 9 treatments, each treatment repeated 3 times. The fertilizers used are NPK fertilizer and onion leaf litter. The data from this study were analyzed by using the LSD (Least Significant Difference) test at a level of 5%. Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, weight of wet stover, weight of dry stover, number of tubers per clump, weight of wet tuber per clump, weight of dry bulb per clump. The results showed that: (1) In the plant growth phase, the dose of NPK fertilizer and onion leaf litter had an effect on plant height and number of leaves. The dose of NPK fertilizer was 1.2 g/plant and onion leaf litter 100 g/plant (D2K2), at plant height gave the best yield of 43.33 cm and the highest number of leaves was 47.00 strands. Meanwhile, the weight of the wet stove and the weight of the dry stove had a slight influence (tendency) which gave different results. On the weight of wet stover the dose of NPK fertilizer was 1.2 g/plant and onion leaf litter 100 g/plant (D2K2) with the highest yield of 14.67 grams and the dry stover weight dose of NPK fertilizer was 1.6 g/plant and leek litter red 150 g/plant (D3K3) with the highest average of 4.00 grams. (2) In harvest yields, the dose of NPK fertilizer was 0.8 g/plant and onion leaf litter 150 g/plant (D1K3) gave the best results for the number of tubers, namely 13.33 pieces, the highest wet tuber weight was 39 grams, and the highest dry tuber weight which is 29.33 grams. The total tuber weight per hectare is 3.3325 tons. Key words : NPK, Shallot Litter, Growth, Yield, Shallot

Abstract

This study entitled The Effect of Giving Various Doses of NPK Fertilizer and Goat Manure on the Growth and Yield of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor L), aims to determine the effect of giving various doses of NPK fertilizer and goat manure on the growth and yield of sorghum plants, carried out starting in May 2021. until August 2021, at the Green House or Experimental Garden of the Slamet Riyadi Faculty of Surakarta, which is located in Kadipiro Village, Kec. Banjarsari, Surakarta City, Central Java with an altitude of ± 105 meters above sea level and the type of soil is Alluvial. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method which was arranged in a factorial manner consisting of 16 treatments, each treatment repeated 3 times. The fertilizers used are NPK fertilizer and goat manure. The data from this study were analyzed using the BNJ test (Real Honesty Difference) at the level of 5%. Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of seeds per panicle, dry weight of seeds per panicle, weight of 1000 seeds, number of seeds per panicle, weight of wet stover, weight of dry stover, and panicle length. The results showed that: 1 Treatment of goat manure dose of 70 g/plant gave the best results on the weight parameter of 1000 seeds and treatment of goat manure dose of 105 g/plant gave the best results on the weight of wet stover. (2)NPK fertilizer treatment of 8 g/plant gave the best results on the number of leaves parameters, NPK fertilizer treatment of 6 g/plant gave the best results on the parameters of dry weight of seeds per panicle and number of seeds per panicle. While NPK fertilizer 8 g/plant gave the best results on the parameters of wet weight of seeds per panicle and dry weight of stover, NPK fertilizer treatment of 6 g/plant gave the best results on parameters of wet stover weight.(3) The interaction between the dose of goat manure (K) and NPK fertilizer (N) did not affect all observations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of different types of organic fertilizers on the growth and yield of two varieties of black soybean (Glycine soja (L.) Merril ). The black soybean varieties used were the Mallika variety and the Lumajang local variety. The research site is in the Research and Collection Gardens, Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta. The research was carried out from May 19, 2021 to August 10, 2021. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors. The types of treatment were: Mallika variety without fertilizer (V1P0), Lumajang local variety without fertilizer (V2P0), Mallika variety with chicken manure (V1P1), Lumajang local variety with chicken manure (V2P1), Mallika variety with goat manure (V2P1). V1P2), local variety Lumajang with goat manure (V2P2), Mallika variety with cow manure (V1P3), local variety Lumajang with cow manure (V2P3), Mallika variety with guano fertilizer (V1P4), local variety Lumajang with guano fertilizer (V2P4). From these treatments, 9 types of treatment combinations and 1 control (without fertilizer) were obtained and were repeated 4 times so that 40 experimental units were obtained. Parameters observed included plant height, number of leaves, weight of wet stover, weight of dry stover, number of pods per plant, weight of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, weight of dry seeds per plant, and weight of 100 seeds per plant. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (Anova), if significantly different then the data was tested by Duncan's test at 5% level to distinguish the mean between treatments. The results showed that 1) The best treatment was obtained with the use of organic chicken manure, because the content of N,P,K in chicken manure was higher than other manures, and chicken manure had a fairly high nutrient content and decomposed relatively quickly. 2) The local variety Lumajang had more pods with an average of 75.25 in the treatment of chicken manure compared to the Mallika variety, this significantly affected the number of seeds in the Mallika variety less than the local Lumajang variety. The highest number of seeds in the local variety Lumajang was found in the cow manure treatment with an average of 142.50 seeds. 3) Mallika variety has large seed size, the highest average weight of 100 seeds is 43.23 g in chicken manure treatment.

Abstract

Research entitled The Effect of Planting Media Composition on Growth and Yield of Three Varieties of Mung Beans (Vigna radiata L.). The research was carried out on November 18, 2021 until January 17, 2022 at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, which is located on Jl. Jaya Wijaya No. 384, Mojosongo Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta. The purpose of this study was to determine the best effect of the composition of the growing media on the growth and yield of three varieties of mung bean (Vigna radiata L.). The study used a Completely Randomized Resign (CRD) consisting of 2 treatment factors and 3 replications, the first factor was variety (V) with 3 levels, namely mung bean varieties Vima-1 (V1), Vima-4 (V2) and Vimil-2 (V3) and the second factor is the composition of the planting media with 4 levels, namely 2 Soil: 2 Cow manure (M1), 2 Soil: 2 Cow manure: 1 Sand (M2), 2 Soil: 1 Cow manure: 1 Husk charcoal ( M3), 1 Soil : 1 Cow manure : 1 Sand : 1 Husk charcoal (M4). The results showed that the best effect was found in the Vimil-2 variety with the composition of the planting media 1 Soil: 1 Cow manure: 1 Sand: 1 Husk charcoal (V3M4) on the number of pods per plant 31.67 pieces and the number of seeds per plant 487, 00 grains, Varieties Vima-4 in the treatment of planting media composition 2 Soil : 1 Cow manure : 1 Husk charcoal (V2M3) at a weight of 100 seeds the highest among the others 8.15 grams.

Abstract

This study on the Effect of Dosage of Organic Goat Manure and Dosage of NPK Fertilizer on Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt) was conducted on 7 May – 23 July 2021, in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta. The altitude of the place is ± 105 meters above sea level with alluvial soil type. This study aims to examine the effect of dose of goat manure and dose of NPK fertilizer on growth and yield of sweet corn. A completely randomized design (CRD) was utilized in this investigation, which was set up in a factorial fashion. The treatment consisted of two components, each of which was repeated three times. (1) Goat manure (K) with four levels: control (K0), dose 0 gr/polybag (K1), dose 250 gr/polybag (K2), dose 500 gr/polybag (K3), and a dose of 750 gr/polybag (2). Control (M0), dose of 0 gr/polybag (M1), dose of 6.075 gr/polybag (M2), dose of 12.15 gr/polybag (M3) dose of 18,225 gr/polybag were the four levels of NPK fertilizer application. The procedure was done three times for a total of 48 combinations. The data is analyzed using the F test and analysis of variance. Meanwhile, the BNJ test was employed at a 5% level to establish the significance of the differences between treatments. Plant height, number of leaves, weight of cobs with cobs, weight of cobs without husks, weight of wet pods, weight of dry pods, number of cobs, weight of dry shells, and weight of 100 seeds were among the parameters measured. The findings revealed that (1) goat manure had no effect on any of the observations. (2) Plant height, weight of dry stover, weight of wet stover, weight of cobs with cabbage, weight of cobs without cabbage, weight of dry shells, and weight of 100 seeds were all significantly affected by NPK fertilizer. (3) There was no significant interaction between goat manure (K) and NPK fertilizer (M) on any of the parameters. Keywords : NPK fertilizer, goat manure, sweet corn

Abstract

Research on the study of the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on two varieties of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris Schard) was carried out in June–August 2021. carried out at the Jaya Wijaya ResearchiCenter, Faculty of Agriculture, Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta, whichiis located in Joglo Village, Banjarsari District, Surakarta City,iCentral Java 57136. This study aims to examine the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on two varieties of watermelon (Citrullus vulgaris Schard). This study used a Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) method which was arranged in a factorial, consists of two factors, namely (1) varieties of watermelon consisting of: Punggawa F1(V1) variety, Baginda F1(V2) variety. (2) the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer consisting of: without liquid organic fertilizer (P0), Concentration of 20 ml/liter of water (P1), Concentration of 40 ml/liter of water (P2), Concentration of 60 ml/liter of water (P3). From the two treatments, 8 combinations were obtained and each combination was repeated 4 times, so there were 32 combinations. Data analysis was used to determine whether there was an effect of the treatment, analysis of variance was used, followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. The results showed that the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on Punggawa F1 watermelon plants had no significant effect on plant length, flower emergence time, wet stover weight, dry stover weight, and fruit length, but it did affect leaf color and fruit circumference. The highest results were the treatment with a concentration of 60 ml/liter of water (P3) was able to produce 3.92 leaf color, 39.75 cm fruit circumference, and treatment with a concentration of 20 ml/liter of water (P2) was able to produce a fruit weight of 1132.58 grams, while the Baginda F1 variety had no significant effect on plant length, flower emergence time, wet stover weight, dry stover weight, and fruit length, but had an effect on leaf color and fruit weight, fruit circumference, the highest yield was at a concentration of 60 ml/liter of water. (P3) was able to produce 4.00 leaf color, 39.75 cm fruit circumference, and 1179.42 gram fruit weigh
