Abstract

Hypertension is one of the disease is not contagious diseases which is a public health problem. Uncontrolled Hypertension can trigger a degenerative diseases such as congestive heart failure, renal failure and vascular disease. Hypertension is called the silent killer because his nature the condition is asymptomatic and can cause a fatal stroke. With the increasing prevalence of cases of degenerative diseases, one only hypertension, then the researchers want to predict the variables very big role as one of the risk factors of Genesis hypertension. With clearly know the risk factors that play against genesis hypertension is expected to be used as a reference for the prevention and control so that they can reduce the prevalence of hypertension and prevent deaths from degenerative diseases, especially hypertension. The results of the study showed that the results of the modeling the prevalence of hypertension in South Kalimantan Province using linier regression there is no factor that affect the genesis of hypertension. The prevalence of hypertension spread spatially because there are heterogenitas between the location of the observation that means that observations of a location depends on the observations in another location that the distance is near so do spatial regression modeling with Adaptive Gaussian kernel function, meghasilkan 5 groups. Group I consists of the districts Tanah Laut and Tanah Bumbu; group II, Kota Baru; Group III consists of Banjar, Kota Banjar Baru, Kota Banjarmasin; Group IV on the Barito Kuala Regency and the Group V consists of Tapin, H S Selatan, H S Tengah, H S Utara, Tabalong, Balangan.

Abstract

In this article, we present an SVIR epidemic model with deadly deseases and non constant population. We only discuss the local stability analysis of the model. Initially the basic formulation of the model is presented. Two equilibrium point exists for the system; disease free and endemic equilibrium point. The local stability of the disease free and endemic equilibrium exists when the basic reproduction number less or greater than unity, respectively. If the value of R0 less than one then the desease free equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable, and if its exceeds, the endemic equilibrium point is locally asymptotically stable. The numerical results are presented for illustration.

Abstract

The number of malaria in this area always has the tendency of the most compared to the city/district in South Kalimantan Province. Behavior is internalisation factor from the level of knowledge, attitudes and actions of a person who influenced by customs, customs and belief in certain things that has been handed down by his ancestors. The behavior of a community group can be different from the other groups so that they formed a group behavior or can be said tribal behavior. The purpose of this research predicts that the number of the prevalence of malaria in Tanah Bumbu tribal based with Y1t : the tribe of Banjar, Y2t : Javanese,  Y3t : the tribe of Bugis, and Y4t : other tribes using vector autoregressive (VAR) model. The results of the study showed with Granger Causality approach there is a relationship between the amount of the prevalence of Malaria Javanese with other tribes, Bugis tribe with other tribes. The relationship is strengthened in the VAR model, which is the number of the prevalence of Malaria Javanese influenced by the number of the prevalence of Malaria Javanese at period t-1, and the number of the prevalence of Malaria tribe Bugis at period t-1. While the number of the prevalence of Malaria tribe Bugis influenced by the number of the prevalence of Malaria Other tribes in the period t-2.

Abstract

A vertex-colored graph  is said to be rainbow vertex-connected, if for every two vertices  and  in , there exists a  path with all internal vertices have distinct colors. The rainbow vertex connection number of , denoted by is the smallest number of colors needed to make  rainbow vertex connected. In this paper, we determine the rainbow vertex connection number of star fan graphs.

Abstract

Matching is a part of graph theory that discusses pair. A matching M is called to be maximum if M has the highest number of  elements. A blossom which is encountered in non-bipartite graph can cause failure in process of finding the maximum matching in non-bipartite graph. One of the algorithms that can be used to find a maximum matching in non-bipartite graph is Edmonds’ Cardinality Matching Algorithm. Shrinking process is done in each blossom Bi that is encountered to become pseudovertex bi, in a way that each blossom does not interfere the process of finding a maximum matching in non-bipartite graph. In order to accelerate the finding, simple greedy method is used to perform initialization of matching and BFS algorithm is also used in constructing an alternating tree in a non-bipartite graph. The research discussed the finding of maximum  matching in non-bipartite graph using Edmonds’ cardinality matching algorithm. In addition, this research gave a sample of its application in the resolution of The Battle of Britain case. The result obtained is a maximum matching in non-bipartite graph. The maximum matching obtained is a solution to the case of The Battle of Britain.

Abstract

In cryptography, we know the symmetric key algorithms and asymmetric key algorithms. We know that the asymmetric key algorithm is more secure than the symmetric key algorithm. Affine Cipher uses a symmetric key algorithm. In this paper, we introduce the Affine Cipher using asymmetric keys. Asymmetrical keys are formed from rectangular matrices.

Abstract

In this paper we present stability of cancerous chemotherapy model with obesity effect. This is a four-population model that includes immune cells, cancer cells, normal cells, and fat cells. The analytical result shows that there are four equilibrium points in case the drugs given and fat cells were not equal to zero, i.e., dead equilibrium, total cancer invasion equilibrium, cancer-free equilibrium, and coexistence equilibrium. Some numerical simulation also presented to illustrate the results.

Abstract

RASKIN/RASTRA is a rice distribution program for the poor family with the aim of improving food security starting from the household scale. The Aim of this study is to determine whether the mathematics modelling can use in the transportation methods to provide an efficient solution of costs on the rice distribution in the region of Sidoarjo. The method used in this research is the NWC (Northwest Corner) method used to analyze the initial fiscal solution, and refined by MODI (Modified Distribution) to analyze the most optimal cost. From the calculation by transportation method, the optimum cost is lower than the company's calculation of Rp 85.186.040 while the cost of the company's calculation is Rp 87.209.690,750. Thus the use of transportation methods can save RASTRA's distribution cost of Rp 2.023.650,750.
