Abstract

This paper is a result of a series of surveys conducted on the new students of Universitas Advent Indonesia (UNAI), batches 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017, regarding the reasons of the students choosing UNAI to study. The purpose of the study is to see the dominant factors that influence the new students to choose UNAI and their preferred study programs. This information is expected to be a very important for the decision makers to make a strategic planning of how to achieve UNAI vision that in 2020 UNAI students will be 3000, increasing from around 2000 in 2017. The results show that there are three factors, namely: UNAI is a dormitory campus with religious programs (55.77%), UNAI has a good quality and discipline (25.57) and UNAI has student labor or working education program (17.40%), while the rest is because is near their house or other reasons (12.87%). There are three reasons for the new students to choose the preferred study program, firstly because they are interested or talented in the study program (53.60%), secondly the study program has good quality and easier to get job after graduation (33.5%) and the rest is there is other preferred study programs available in UNAI and their parents asked them to study in UNAI (12.85%). Another important factor for the new students to choose UNAI is because UNAI has a good accreditation level from government. 88.10% of the new students agree and even fully agree that the accreditation level of the preferred study program is very important factor for them to choose the study program. However, it is interested to study in the future why the adventist students in West Indonesia Union Missions (estimated to be around 80%) do not choose to study.

Abstract

Management accounting system (SAM) provides information for managers to predict consequences that may occur from a variety of alternative activities on the Organization and provides a mechanism for controlling the organization. The purpose of this discussion is to discuss “the impact of information on the performance characteristics of the SAM and discusses the benefits of systems of managerial accounting for managers”. Information that has the characteristics of a good, as broadscope, timeliness, aggregation, and integration it needs to improve the accuracy of decision-making. Performance management would be good if the right management decisions. Both are information can be obtained from the information system of directional and well-integrated, SAM.

Abstract

Social media has provided a variety of information, especially content that is subjective or reflects the opinions of people who write. Today more and more people express their opinions or opinions on community leaders such as regional leaders, officials, influential people, and so on. Social media has provided a variety of information, especially content that is subjective or reflects the opinions of people who write. Today more and more people express their opinions or opinions on community leaders such as regional leaders, officials, influential people, and so on. Sentiment analysis on the Twitter social media application there are weaknesses in the words contained in the sentence uploaded by the application user. In this case the object of the research was carried out to Ridwan Kamil with Sentiment Analysis from the people. Based on the research conducted, it was concluded that 59 training data had an accuracy of 81.3559%, and the results obtained from testing data were: 1. There were 3 data that were truly classified as having neutral sentiments, 2. There were 7 data classified really have positive sentiment, 3. And there are 2 data that really have negative sentiment.

Abstract

Kantor Pelayanan Pajak (KPP) Pratama Pekanbaru Senapelan carry out services in the field of taxation to the public within the scope of the KPP Pratapelan working area. At present the Pekanbaru Senapelan KPP Taxpayer data has been stored in the form of digital data. In accordance with the letter of instruction of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number: S - 333 / WPJ.02 / 2016, it is briefly stated that each Riau Province KPP must provide and make a media as a Taxpayer Data Storage and Distribution Center. Because of these many needs, the information and data lanes must be efficient and effective in their distribution. The objectives of this research are (1) To build a Pekanbaru Taxpayer Taxpayer Data Bank System. (2) To design the KPP Pekanbaru Senapelan Taxpayer Data Bank System and (3) To implement the KPP Pekanbaru Senapelan Taxpayer Data Bank System. The conclusions of this study are (1) Taxpayer Data Bank System in the KPP Pekanbaru Senapelan to assist the KPP Pekanbaru Senapelan in terms of storing Taxpayer data into a database so that the data is not easily lost or damaged and share the data that has been stored, (2 ) The Taxpayer Data Bank System at KPP Pekanbaru Senapelan has a good appearance so that users can use this system easily because it has a user-friendly display, (3) The Taxpayer Data Bank System on the KPP Pekanbaru Senapelan primarily has access rights to enter into the system so that each user has their own level which will be useful for storing data in accordance with the permissions of the user or other intended user.

Abstract

Stock price prediction is a very necessary action as a first step to taking the decision to determine when to transact a sale and purchase of existing shares in Indonesia stock exchange. Stock price prediction is done using two methods are compared, i.e.; Naїve Bayes method and the method of Decision Tree-J48. The amount of data used is as much as 1,195 and data used as the data for testing is as much as 20% or 239 the data. As a result of the level of accuracy of the Naïve Bayes Method using data testing is 92.0502%. With the presentation for the value of precision or accuracy of information expected by the author with the answers given by the system of 0920 and the value for the recall or the success rate of taking action against information found by the system of 0.961. While the results of a prediction using Decision Tree J-48 results for accuracy using data testing is 98.7448%. %. With the presentation for the value of precision or accuracy of information expected by the author with the answers given by the system. of 0.989 and value for the recall or the success rate of taking action against information found by the system of 0.997.

Abstract

Advances in Information and Communications Technology these days have been growing fastly, and Web-based application software is one of its obvious examples. Based on this fact, this study aims to (1) assist PT. Meerkats Flexipack Indonesia in presenting a job vacancy information and processing applicants data on database so the HRD division can easily find the right applicant data, (2) facilitate prospective employees in getting a job vacancy information and apply a job without come directly to the company. By using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method such as Waterfall model which includes the stages of planning, analysis, design and implementation of the system. The results achieved from this research is a web-based acceptance information system. With the implementation of this system, companies can easily provide a job vacancy information and choose the applicants who want and applicants who will apply for jobs can also easily access and provide information without having to come directly to the company. In addition, the use of this system can reduce the pile of paper files that can take up space.

Abstract

Online system that has the aim to improve efficiency, effectiveness of data management and for the benefit of decision making. Theoretically the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) method is widely used in research to measure the success of information system acceptance based on users in using information systems. With this method used to analyze the acceptance of the Online System at the Adventist University of Indonesia. A sample of 95 respondents was used with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling and sample calculation using the Slovin formula. Data were collected through questionnaires and analytical techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. The purpose of this study are: (1) To determine the perception of benefits affect the attitude of users, (2) To determine the effect of perceived ease of influence on user attitudes. (3) To determine the effect of perceived usefulness and perceived convenience on user attitudes. The results showed that (1) the perceived benefits of the Online System partially did not affect the user's attitude, (2) the perceived ease of the Online System partially affected the user's attitude, and (3) simultaneously the perceived usefulness and ease of perception influenced the attitude of the Online System users.

Abstract

At this moment, ojek is one of alternative transportation that has been choosed by most people, this is because ojek offered a solution for trafics in capital city. The development of technology by the appereance of online ojek that give convenience to consumen who use application that intregrated to the company, so the convenience that offered by online ojek seems like drown conventional ojek and cause them loss income. This reseach is to find the obstacles for conventional ojek driver to join online ojek. The purpose for this reseach is to know what are the barrier to adopt online ojek application in the circles of conventional ojek driver and to find solution to reduce the barrier to adoption to technology by conventional ojek driver. As for as we found 6 components for the barrier, such as behavior and consumen behavior, technology, financial, completeness for ride, information and paguyuban. the sixth component measured on 36 respondents in Bandung area, and all the respondent is ojek conventional drivers. Collecting data by interview and spreading questionnaire for processing data. This research is descriptive research that show object and event to know the circumstances that happend now and to illustrate the solution for barrier of aplication adoption by conventional ojek driver. Author take conclution based on questionnaire that the biggest barrier component from all component is paguyuban to adopt online application, where as they still comfortable to wait for their customer in their spot, this cause by the feeling togetherness each other and it reduces competition, based on the analysis of data, author give some suggestion to reduce the barrier to adopt online aplication that is education is important fact to increase how people think, from society it is one of the important things to become a productive and eficient work in the future.

Abstract

Elections on West Java Governor 2018 are busy discussed in the real world and cyberspace, especially in social media Twitter. Everyone is free to argue about the candidate of West Java Governor 2018 that raises many opinions, not only positive or neutral opinion, but also negative opinion. Nowadays, social media especially Twitter is one of the place to promote or to campaign effectively and efficiently to increase supporters interest. In this case researchers will conduct research on one of the public figures who run for governor elections West Java. The research method used in this research is the Naïve Bayesian Classifer Classification algorithm. The data used is an Indonesian tweet with the keyword Ridwan Kamil (#RidwanKamil) as much as 1031 data tweet every day starting from January 15, 2018 to April 15, 2018. Results from the classification using the Naïve Bayesian Classifier algorithm obtained 690 number of tweets or 67% all data tweets that support Mr. Ridwan Kamil or are positive especially on the work program that will be done and this provides a probability statistics of 73.13% accuracy level Correctly Classified Instances.

Abstract

The Employee Management System is an employee data management container that can be managed with accurate information systems. Employee data management at PT. Asian Isuzu Casing Center still uses Microsoft Excel. The expected usefulness of this study is 3, namely 1) Improving employee performance in carrying out tasks. 2) Saving time in searching for stored data. 3) making it more easly for employees to manage data anywhere and anytime 4) Reducing unexpected losses due to irregular data. The methodology used in this study is the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) method which consists of five stages, among others, (1) Needs Analysis, (2) System Design, (3) Coding, (4) Testing and (5) Implementation. The research objectives are expected to produce an Employee Management System information system at PT. Asian Isuz Casting Center. From the research that has been done, the authors, the authors conclude that, ((1) Information systems are made and components are running well. (2) This system can help facilitate the creation of employee data reports at PT. AICC. (3) This information system can create data reports and data permissions. (4) This information system can display employee statistics
