Abstract

The financial recording system is very important for an organization such as a school. The existence of a good record will help the school access history of financial transactions data and facilitate in making financial statements. An information system is needed to help recording the financial transactions of the school, both student transactions and other transactions conducted in schools. The purpose of this research is to design a financial information recording and reporting system of school based on cloud computing that can help the school in recording every transaction that occurs in school and make it easier to create financial statements both monthly and yearly. With the use of cloud computing will help the school in implementing the information system mainly related to the cost of infrastructure procurement constraints. In the future, it is expected that this information system can be developed with mobile platform so it is easier for every user in using it.

Abstract

Achieving user satisfaction in using an information system is one of the factors to determine the system as expected. The UNAI Online System has been operating since 2008 and granting students a convenient access to their academic data. In order to enhance users' satisfaction on using the UNAI Online System, it needs to be done according to the right measurements towards an information system. The methods that were used in this study is data mining along with the Naïve Bayes classifications method and data that were obtained from questionnaires. The attributes used are content quality, relevance, privacy, easily operated, speed, visual appeal, online completeness, and customer services. The test results showed that the first test for users' satisfaction using the Naïve Bayes method scored up to 81.3%. The second test with 80% data training and 20% data testing obtained 80% accuracy value. As for cross-validation test, the score reached 78.7%. Lastly, the test with 66% training data and 33% test data get the accuracy value up to 68.6%.

Abstract

Decision support system is a system that provide problem solving, where the users of the system can choose the best alternative decision. In making the decision there are many things must be considered so that the decision taken is the right one. Universitas Advent Indonesia is one of the universities that provides a dormitory as a residence for the students. Besides dormitories, the students can also reside outside the dormitory. To be able to reside outside, students must register themselves and the Student Affairs Bureau decides who is the student that meet the qualification. There is a problem faced by the Student Affairs Bureau where there is a difficulty to finalize the decision whether students are eligible or not. To occupy the problem, a decision support system is designed to verify the eligibility of students. The requirements that have been decided for the students to be able to reside outside are stay at the lecturer’s house, have been married, stay with their parents or their siblings, the nurses students that have taken the professional nurses and the senior students that do not longer have any subject besides thesis. This research used Forward Chaining method and in designing the system the web-based will be employed. The result of this study can be used as a tool in making decision to determine the eligibility of the students to reside outside.

Abstract

In this modern days, humans really need technology in their daily life, like PT.ISUZU. where this business need one thing that can help the workers in remembering to control the items. One thing that can help the workers are device that can give reminder to them about things that need to be controlled. In this case, the system is counted to help the workers in controlling the items well. The method that are used in this research is SDLC method (System Development Life Cycle) which was started from needs analysis, design system, coding and testing. The purpose of this research is to help the workers in controlling the items well through application system that will be built. As a result, the Android-based information system reminder control can help the workers in remembering to control items through notifications that were given by the device to the workers.

Abstract

2019 Indonesian Presidential Election is crowded to be discussed in the real world and also cyberspace, specifically on Twitter. Everyone is free to agree on the 2019 Indonesian Presidential candidate pair. Opinion raises many opinions, not only positive or neutral opinions but there are also negative opinions. Twitter's is now one of the most effective and efficient promotional or campaign venues to attract supporters. In this case, the researcher will conduct research on community leaders who are running for the presidency of Indonesia. The research method used in this study is the Naïve Bayesian Classifier classification algorithm. The data used are Indonesian tweets with Jokowi (# Jokowi2Periode) and Prabowo (#PrabowoSandi) keywords totaling 1009 data tweets for 5 months starting from September 1, 2019 to 31 January 1, 2019. Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Medan, and Surabaya. Each data will be taken manually by using the Geolocation API that has been provided by Twitter via a Twitter search. The results of the classification using the Naïve Bayesian Classifier algorithm received 839 positive tweets, 32 negative tweets, and 67 neutral tweets from 938 overall tweets, or in the form of a percentage, there were 90% containing positive sentimen, 3% negative, and 7% negative sentimen towards Mr. Joko Widodo. And 56 positive tweets, 6 negative tweets, and 8 neutral tweets from 70 overall tweets, or in the form of the percentage there are 80% positive sentimens, 9% negative sentimens, and 11% neutral sentimens towards Mr. Prabowo. The level of accuracy generated from the Naïve Bayesian Classifier algorithm itself for this study amounted to 77.62%.

Abstract

Technology is a tool that helps humans in carrying out an activity. With the use of technology in the industrial field, more goods are being produced. One type of technology that has a large part in the industry is automatic machinery. An automatic machine is a series of technologies intended to change activities that are manual to automatic that have the aim to improve the process of making goods, and have a higher quality product. Automata Theory is a branch of science that is not yet well known to many people but has an important role in the field of computer science. The main concept of the automata theory itself is how to make machines work automatically. Therefore, this study aims to apply the concept of the Automata theory to the automatic ice cream maker. This study discusses two methods for analyzing and supporting applications which are simulations of the ice cream maker itself. The formal method used to analyze the workings from reading the input to updating to give the final result of the machine. Another method used is the prototyping method where this method is used for the application of automatic ice cream maker applications in this study. The results of this study indicate that Finite State Automata can be an alternative for analyzing automatic ice cream making machines by reading the input provided by the user and then developing the patterns used.

Abstract

This paper is a report of a study about the influence of talent on the academic achievement of UNAI student batch 2016. The new students accepted in 2016 had to do talent test conducted by a professional institution giving three options of results namely Recommended, Doubted, Not Recommended. The academic achievement is seen in two parameters, i.e. the degree of graduation and GPA, observed for 6 semesters (three academic years) starting from 2016/2017 until 2018/2019. The study shows that the degree of graduation for UNAI student batch 2016 is 82%, or the degree of drop out is 18%. The highest degree of graduation is achieved by the students of the faculty of teacher training and education, i.e. 94.4%, while the lowest figure is achieved by the students of faculty of philosophy, i.e. 75%. In terms of academic achievement (GPA), there is a slight improvement of GPA from year to year. However, there is siginificant difference in the academic achievement between students considered as talented, less talented and not talented. The fact that there is siginifanct influence of talent onto the achievement of UNAI, then it is very important to study some other possible faktors namely motivation, IQ, and other external factors.

Abstract

The geographical position of Indonesia led to Indonesia is a country with a very high incidence of disasters. Besides causing material damage, the disaster also caused fatalities. Therefore, the disaster must be handle properly to minimize the risk posed towards constitutions. However in fact, the lack of data and information, and inaccuracies lead to a slow decision-making process. This research aims to make the planning of disaster management information system architecture using the TOGAF Framework with a case study of Regional Disaster Management Agency of West Java. Information system architecture to development in this study is a tool that can used by BPBDs for developing and managing information systems for disaster management. This research resulted in the information system architecture modeled with business architecture, application architecture, data architecture, technology architecture, evaluation gap, and migration plans. Enterprise architecture modeling made to produce blueprint development of information systems for disaster management.

Abstract

The election process becomes very important in determining the desired outcome for the voters. The election process is often hampered by a variety of issues, such as the process of gathering and recounting the result sometimes takes time. For that we need a system that can facilitate the selection process so that it can provide quick and accurate results. The purpose of this study is to build a system that can provide convenience for students of the Faculty of Information Technology UNAI in running the democratic process to select the Chairman of the Student Association. The system is designed web-based so it will be easier in the process of taking voting, vote counting and announcement of the selected winners. The method used in building this system is using SDLC method with Waterfall model which consists of stages of Analysis, Design, Implementation and Maintenance. The results of the design of this system can be used in selecting the pair chairman and vice chairman of Student Association Faculty of Information Technology UNAI. The election process can run more orderly, regularly and faster especially in vote counting and winner announcement because it is done through the system. It is expected that in the future this system can be developed and applied to other election process and can be made on other platforms.

Abstract

Rapid technological developments contribute a positive impact on some aspects of life. This research will discuss on transmission of multimedia content in the limited capacity network (up to 5 Mbps), especially to study feasibility of multimedia content delivery quality in limited capacity network. Observation methods include measurement of limited capacity network, and simulating the network to study the feasibility of multimedia content delivery Quality of Service (QoS) over limited capacity network. In our research, multimedia content is transmitted using H264 720p configuration. Simulation that was developed based on network measurement results, and configured with research needs. The results of simulation show that the network condition on testbed network were enough and feasible ni terms of multimedia content delivery quality of service even through limited capacity network.
