Abstract

Along with the development of technology, the need for information is increasing, which is not only in the form of text and picture information are needed but also involves all aspects of multimedia available, for example is video streaming technology. So analysis of QoS for data traffic on web applications video streaming like youtube is need to be done. QoS is the ability to guarantee the provision of resources (resource) and service differentiation in various types of applications which is one of the characteristics Internet data traffic. To determine the quality of web video streaming applications, QoS analysis must be done. delay, jitter, packet loss, and bandwidth utilization is the one of the parameter needed for QoS analysis. This analysis is expected to help network administrators in terms of network design for better future.

Abstract

Scoliosis is a spinal abnormalities that bends to S shape or C shape. The proper treatment can make better healing of scoliosis patient. Currently, diagnosis of spinal curvature is using a manual process performed by orthopedic, thus resulting an error in the measurement. To resolve this issue, used segmentation method that using image processing technology. segmentation method is using Charged Particle Model (CPM) which able to perform segmentation properly.

Abstract

Wireless technology atau teknologi nirkabel, atau lebih sering disingkat wireless adalah teknologi elektronika yang beroperasi tanpa kabel. Wireless technology telah dikenal dapat dimanfaatkan untuk komunikasi maupun pengontrolan. Saat ini, teknologi nirkabel juga dapat diterapkan pada proses perpindahan daya atau disebut juga wireless energy transfer.Wireless energy transfer memiliki beberapa macam mekanisme, salah satunya adalah inductive resonant coupling. Teknologi ini bekerja dengan menggunakan efek kopling resonansi antara dua gulungan sirkuit LC. Inductive resonant coupling mampu mentransmisikan energi melalui media magnetic field atau dalam beberapa teori lainnya dikenal dengan fluks yang dihasilkan oleh arus listrik.Inductive resonant coupling mampu menghasilkan nilai daya keluaran hingga 0.021 watt dengan jarak 3 cm dan daya input 0.440 watt. Teknologi ini mampu mencapai tingkat efisiensi sebesar 6.73% pada jarak 3 cm. Sedangkan tingkat efektivitasnya mencapai 0.07 yang berarti daya keluaran lebih kecil 14 kali dibandingkan daya input. Keyword : Wireless Energy Transfer, Inductive Resonant Coupling, Transmisi Daya Listrik.

Abstract

Some of developing countries recently employ network applications that use sensor nodes, Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) for remote sensing. Most latest researchers, utilize methods with a network topology that has a fixed position. On the other hand, for remote monitoring network set up wireless networks typically use ad hoc and irregular distributed by its users. A study needed to create a network system with randomly generated positions. In this work we concern about wireless network that employ On Demand Routing Protocols, i.e. Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR). The result of the research shows that DSR has a better performance in term of delay and packet loss ratio compared to the AODV. On the other hand, AODV shows a better performance in term of bandwidth utilization.

Abstract

This paper obtain temperature effect on the level of methane and carbon dioxide in the biogas. For that purpose the author created a monitoring system. The monitoring system built from microcontroller as the main controller of sensors. In order to be complete the monitoring system, a logging data system must be created to provide a reliable data. To obtain temperature effect all data will be analized by certain application.

Abstract

Detection system using a robot to walk lot as a reference sensor to avoid obstacles in the application of obstacle avoidance robot get input from sensors Ultrasonic Distance to generate movement toward desired goals. Input can use camera as a sensor on the robot obstacle avoidance. Functions expected in a robot that has the ability to avoid an obstacle  (obstacle avoidance) in order to achieve a mission of the robot, so the robot can walk with subtle needed a controller , which is used for system control is PID control with input parameters use the ping sensor Ultrasonic Distance. Ultrasonic Distance Sensor is a type of sensor that has output far distance range 3cm - 3 meters . The characteristics of this sensor can only be on a plane at an angle of 90 ° . In this research, the data output from the sensor will be processed on the Microcontroller to respond to the motor and control system are used as a rudder servo motor . In order to obstacle avoidance in front, left side, and, right then it needs to be added to the sensor on the front , right and left the base of the robot . Process the input from the sensors will provide information on where obstructions are . Ackreman steering system steering the robot as a solution to be able to avoid the obstacle . Setting speed on PID control can fix the sensor response to the hitch . In the calculation of this final plant PID worth Kp = 1 , Ki = 0 , Kd = 0.

Abstract

Salah satu kendala yang dihadapi petani dalam pengolahan padi pasca panen adalah proses pengeringan . Hal ini disebabkan pengeringan gabah dengan cara tradisional , yaitu dengan pengeringan gabah di bawah sinar matahari dengan menempatkannya di terpal . Hambatan muncul selama musim hujan , karena gandum akan dikeringkan lagi dan ini dapat menyebabkan serangan serangga atau jamur . Dalam proyek tesis ini menciptakan prototipe pengering gabah yang diharapkan dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan pada proses pengeringan gabah .Sistem ini menggunakan Arduino Uno R3 . Dalam kontrol suhu dan kelembaban dan menggunakan aktuator pemanas , blower , dan motor . Sistem ini memerlukan waktu pengeringan dari 175 menit untuk mengeringkan kadar air 5kg beras basah mencapai 19,2 % RH dan kelembaban ruang pengering sebesar 13% RH . Membaca tingkat kesalahan sebesar 11,5 % RH kelembaban , sehingga tingkat akurasi sensor DHT21 mencapai 88,5 % RH . Suhu tingkat kesalahan pembacaan 5:05 ° C , sehinggan tingkat akurasi sensor DHT21 mencapai 94,95 ° C. Dengan demikian , pengering gabah prototipe diharapkan dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan nyata dengan sumber lebih ekonomis energi yang bisa membantu petani padi .

Abstract

Parking area and many cars parked in the parking can be an obstacle for those who want to park in the parking  to find out which part is still empty, so it make person must looking around the parking for search an empty spot. At this time the park is equipped with CCTV cameras that are useful only to monitor the parking situation. The resulting image of CCTV can be use actual process to be able to detect an empty parking area and the results will representative as information to the people who want to park. In this final project will be designed a system can detect and inform an empty parking area with background subtraction method using a system consisting of three main parts, namely cameras, computers, and displays. At trial program can produce valid results, but in this program only 3 car caught on camera. So as to develop this system, as the system is designed to take pictures with a concept of panoramic view to getting the image of car that much more.

Abstract

Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a communications technology that allows  connections to and from public network as if working on a private network. By using this technology, users are possible to access files, or even a database server inside the private network. The users are able to access the network using the same settings as they were physically located in a private network.This experiment are intended to get the value of the parameters and analyzing performance of the VPN network. To get these values real computer networks that consists of two VPN gateways equipped with tools and testing applications such as PING, FTP, tcpdump, video streaming (IP CCTV) applications and VoIP (SJPhone) were built.Network performance examination have obtained values of latency, packet loss, bandwidth delay  product and bandwidth utilization. It is shown that smaller latency will produce the most efficient bandwidth delay product. At the same time, small value of latency will produce large bandwidth utilization for TCP applications. On the other hand, small value of packet loss will result in large bandwidth utilization for UDP applications.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis tool is designed to provide ease in self-contained payment system on rides. So that gives you comfort and safety for users of the game on the spacecraft itself. Utilization of EEPROM data storage media as the balance of the game, is expected to be beneficial to fans of the game. The function of this tool is to use a standalone payment or independent media that each rides installed these tools, so that users can directly use the rides, without having to pay in advance, just stay put card EEPROM to the tool. But users should also see remaining balance that exists there how to player EEPROM, can access the rides.In view of this there is a tool out of the LCD screen to see the remaining balance on card EEPROM and the process of doing so. There are 2 buttons, button 1 button 2 to play and to see the remaining balance on card EEPROM. There are several indicators LED to the passage of the game process. And to the Minimum, use a Microcontroller System ATmega32. The way this tool work is quite simple, but has a usability and functionality of the application in the real world.
