Abstract

Multi-relation classifications can be widely used in many disciplines, such as financial decision making, medical research, and geographical applications, and information stored in multiple relations needs to be used in decision making. Crossmine is an efficient and scalable approach for multi-relation classification. Crossmine algoritm has three step, first is find-rules, the rule has been gotten from find a rule process than remove all positif tuples satisfying rule while there are more than ten percent positif tuple left. The second is find a rule, this step has input from the result of find best predicate process, that is the complex predicate with most foilgain. If foilgain value is more than mingain, the predicate is added with rule, and max rule length less than six. Third is find best predicate, in this step we find the best predicate with definition, if the foilgain value more than the max gain value, the predicate will be saved and the bigger gain value will replace the last gain value for next comperative process. In other side, the accuracy is computed from each rule that produce in find rules process. The test for this application use the sum tuple of 200, 500, 1000, 5000 for measuring the level of accuracy from rule which is produced by crossmine algoritm.

Abstract

The paper presents renewable distributed generation (RDG) models as three-phase resource in load flow computation and analyzes their effect when they are connected in composite networks. The RDG models that have been considered comprise of photovoltaic (PV) and wind turbine generation (WTG). The voltage-controlled node and complex power injection node are used in the models. These improvement models are suitable for smart grid power system analysis. The combination of IEEE transmission and distribution data used to test and analyze the algorithm in solving balanced/unbalanced active systems. The combination of IEEE transmission data and IEEE test feeder are used to test the the algorithm for balanced and unbalanced multi-phase distribution system problem. The simulation results show that by increased number and size of RDG units have improved voltage profile and reduced system losses.

Abstract

Various interface circuits for collecting the energy of piezoelectric cantilever beams have been widely investigated. Such circuits include the standard interface, series synchronized switch harvesting interface circuit, parallel synchronized switch harvesting interface, synchronized charge extraction interface, and others. Most studies focus on the performance of different interface circuits with standard sinusoidal excitations. However, in real situations where constant harmonic vibrations are not present, the equivalent voltage from piezoelectric cantilever beams with excitations is not necessarily sinusoidal. In the present study, a simulation analysis of four different interface circuits with signal sources that are both damped sinusoidal and random was performed using Matlab and PSpice. The results show that the interface circuits have improved performance under low load resistance values with damped sinusoidal signal. In addition, the parallel and series synchronized switch harvesting interface circuits may perform well in collecting piezoelectric energy with random excitations.

Abstract

Email is a way of communication for the today’s internet world, private and government sector or public sector all are used email for communication with their clients. They can freely send number of mail to their client without disturbing them. Now a day email communication is also a way of advertising, some mail is also spam, lots of social mails are there. Categorization and handling lots of email is an important task for the researches, as they all are working in this field by using the Natural language processing and ontology extraction process. User get frustrated for handling lots of mails and reading those for finding there is any important mail, sometime user delete lots of mail without reading and in that case may be some important mail which contain the important information may be about meeting, seminar etc. is also deleted. For avoiding these scenarios here auto updation of schedule calendar procedure is proposed by the author. Concept extraction and clustering of concept is done based on fuzzy logic, similar mail pattern is grouped in a same cluster if similarity is less than threshold value a new cluster is defined for that. From the extracted concept author establish the relationship between them and generate the result. Computation overhead is also calculated for different set of mails and finds that it takes very less time in computing large email data set.

Abstract

Image reconstruction software and its image reconstruction algorithm are an important step towards constructing a tomography system. This paper demonstrates an image reconstruction of solid profile using linear back projection (LBP) algorithm and global threshold. A forward problem and inverse problem are discussed. The modelled of sensitivity distributions using COMSOL proved that the system is able to detect the liquid-solid regime in vertical pipe. Additionally, the location of the phantom can be easily distinguished using LBP algorithm and thresholding technique. The simulations and experiments results indicate that the sensitivity distribution of non-invasive ERT system can be applied in getting a tomogram of the medium of interest.

Abstract

A single layered metamaterial structure with capabilities of switching from a wideband metamaterial absorber to an AMC reflector and vice versa is presented in this paper. A flame retardant 4 substrate with physical thickness of 1.60mm was used. The absorption rate, reflection rate, reflection phase and surface current distribution were studied and discussed. The operational incidental wave angles were varied from 0o to 65o. A peak reflection of about 90% was achieved at 11.20 GHz with a usable bandwidth (-90 to +90) of 3.01 GHz by the AMC reflector. The metamaterial absorber demonstrated a wideband performance (from 8.10 GHz to 14.30 GHz). It achieved 100% absorption at 11.20 GHz and not less than 65

Abstract

In the developing countries, the need for prosthetic hands is increasing. In general, transradial amputee patients use prosthetic hands that are passive like a body-powered prosthesis. This research proposes a low-cost myoelectric prosthetic hand based on 3D printing technology. Hand and finger size were designed based on the average size of human hands in Indonesia. The proposed myoelectric hand employs linear actuator combined with the tendon-spring mechanism. Myoelectric hand was developed with five modes of grip pattern to perform various object grasping in activity of daily living. Control strategy had been developed for controlling the motion of flexion and extension on the hand and saving the energy consumed by the actuators. The control strategy was developed under MATLAB/Simulink environment and embedded to Arduino Nano V3 using Simulink Support Package for Arduino Hardware. Surface electromyography (EMG) sensor was used in this research for reading the muscle activity of the user/wearer. The proposed myoelectric hand had been tested in object grasping test and was implemented on a study participant with transradial amputee.

Abstract

Chaos theory has several applications in science and engineering. In this work, we announce a new two-scroll chaotic system with two nonlinearities. The dynamical properties of the system such as dissipativity, equilibrium points, Lyapunov exponents, Kaplan-Yorke dimension and bifurcation diagram are explored in detail. The presence of coexisting chaotic attractors, coexisting chaotic and periodic attractors in the system is also investigated. In addition, the offset boosting of a variable in the new chaotic system is achieved by adding a single controlled constant. It is shown that the new chaotic system has rotation symmetry about the z-axis. An electronic circuit simulation of the new two-scroll chaotic system is built using Multisim to check the feasibility of the theoretical model.

Abstract

Fuel cells are an important option for the generation of renewable, efficient and environmentally friendly electricity. Although there are commercial applications in the industrial, residential and automotive sectors, it is not yet a mature technology and requires much research, particularly to reduce its costs to a level competitive with other technologies. This research is currently focused not only on the structure of the cell but also on the additional elements and sub systems required for its implementation as an energy solution. In this article, we propose an electrical energy conditioning scheme for the Formic acid fuel cell (direct formic acid fuel cellor DFAFC). This fuel cell was selected for its high performance, and low cost in low and medium power applications. The proposed system consists of a direct current-direct current (DC-DC) regulator supported by a power converter controlled by a Cortex-M3 ARM processor. This CPU is used to propagate a static neural network trained with the non-linear dynamics of the power converter. The power circuit is modeled and simulated to produce  the training parameters. The neural network is trained externally and runs off-line on the processor. The results show not only the regulation capacity of the control scheme but also its response speed to sudden changes in the load.
