Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Competency and Conservation Based Curriculum in order to improve the quality of graduates of Economics Faculty of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES). The goal of this study was to provide information, policy,  and recommendations to improve the quality of graduates based on lectures behavior. The respondents of this research were lecturers of Faculty of Economics. Research data were collected by using questionnaires. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistical multiple linear regression were employed to analyze data. This study provided empirical support that lecturers’ ability and commitment positively contributed to the implementation of Competency and Conservation Based Curriculum to improve the quality of graduates to be competence and conservation-minded. This study also proved that while lecturers’ ability and commitment play an important role, their commitments do not affect the implementation of Competency and Conservation Based Curriculum. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended that lecturers’ ability to implement the Competency and Conservation Based Curriculum needs to be improved. Workshops and training should be given to lecturers in order to help them to create learning apparatus such as syllabus, lesson plans and teaching materials, as well as the evaluation of Competency and Conservation Based Curriculum.

Abstract

Good governance is the management governance principles which can support the performance improvement. The objective of the study was to know the influence of transparency, accountability, and responsibility of school financial management on teachers’ performance at SMP (State Junior High Schools) Ex-RSBI in Semarang, either simultaneously or partially. The population of the study was all teachers at SMP Ex-RSBI in Semarang; they were 191 teachers. The data were collected by questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, and the hypotheses were tested by multiple regression analysis. Based on the research results, it showed that the transparency, accountability, and responsibility of school financial management contributed on teachers’ performance for 24.8%. Partially, there was only the responsibility variable of school financial management which contributed significantly on teachers’ performance for 4.368%.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah seberapa besar pengaruh kepemimpinan dan komunikasi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII jurusan Administrasi Perkantoran yang terdiri dari 77 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang positif pada kepemimpinan guru dan komunikasi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siwa hendaknya kepemimpinan guru diterapkan pada siswa sehingga guru dapat membimbing dan mendorong siswa untuk lebih giat belajar, guru diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasinya agar pada saat penyampaian materi dapat diterima siwa dengan baik. Abstract

The research aims to know whether or not an influence of family education and social environment on the characteristics of students during the accounting lesson at class XI IPS SMA Negeri I Pati; to know whether or not an influence of social environment on the characteristics of students during the accounting lesson at class XI IPS SMA Negeri I Pati; and to know whether or not an influence between family education and social environment on the characteristics of students during the accounting lesson at class XI IPS SMA Negeri I Pati. The population in this research is 71 students of class XI SMA Negeri I Pati. Method of data analysis in this research consists of percentage descriptive analysis, descriptive statistic, prerequisite test covering normality test and linearity test, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test covering multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, hypothesis test covering simultaneous test (F), coefficient of simultaneous determination (R2), partial test (t), and partial determinant coefficient (r2). Results shows that family education and social environment both simultaneously and individually have positive impacts on the student characteristics.

Abstract

The objectives of the study are (1) to know students’ motivation in understanding the materials of National Income, (2) to improve students’ study result on the materials of National income. It was a class action research which was conducted in 2 cycles. The subject of the study was 31 students of X-3 in SMA N 10 Semarang. The data were collected by test and observation and then analyzed by percentage description. The result of the study showed that the average  of success level  in the 1st cycle was 73.31% and in the 2nd cycle was 78.67% so it rose 5.26% from the 1st cycle to the 2nd cycle and the criterion level of teaching completeness was 93.14%

Abstract

Dinamika pendidikan pada saat ini ditandai dengan adanya suatu revolusi dan transformasi pemikiran mengenai hakikat pembelajaran. Paradigma baru dalam proses pembelajaran memandang siswa sebagai pusat (center) dalam proses  pembelajaran sedangkan guru hanya berperan sebagai mediator dan fasilitator. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut di Indonesia diberlakukan Kurikulum Berbasis kompetensi dari pendidikan dasar sampai menengah. Hal ini menuntut guru untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran siswa. Seperti halnya dalam pembelajaran pendidikan IPS Ekonomi pada siswa SD, guru harus dapat mendorong siswa untuk aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran konvensional harus dirubah menjadi pembelajaran kontekstual. Salah satu pengembangan pembelajaran yang dapat dipakai adalah pembelajaran berdasarkan konsep siswa. Melalui Konsep siswa, siswa akan dapat mengkaitkan antara konsep yang ada dengan realitas yang ada dalam masyarakat sesuai dengan pokok bahasan yang sedang dipelajari, sehingga akan dapat meningkatkan kinerja dari guru, kinerja dari siswa dan dapat menciptakan iklim sosial dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) to determine the factors that affecting interest students in decision-making choose of accounting class X in SMK N 1 Demak, (2) to determine which factor that has the greatest or most dominant to interest students in decision-making choose of accounting class X in SMK N 1 Demak. To be able to determine the factors that affect interest decision-making choose of accounting, then a research was conducted  using factor analysis and descriptive analysis methods.The population of this study were all students class X of accounting amounting to 114 students. The samples were 53 members chosen using proportional random sampling technique. The variables of this study were the talent, potential self, intelegent, family, school, peers group, employments opportunities, lack of participation, lack of representation, treatment not fair, dimensions access, dimensions of learning process, dimensions mastery, dimensions control, and dimensions of benefits. The data collection method used was questionnaires, then analyzed by factor analysis with SPSS 16.0 for windows.Based on the results of the factor analysis, from the 15 items there is 1 variables that should be dropped, while the remaining 14 variables formed 3 new factor, namely the internal factor students, the external factor students, and gender difference. Third new factors have a totl value of the coefficients variant 58,19%. The dominant factor influential namely gender difference which embeds in it values the coefficients variant 27,157%.  Dimensions control with load factor of 0.674, lack of partisipation with load factor 0.671, dimensions of benefits with load factor of 0.740, dimensions of learning process with load factor of 0.612, dimensions mastery with a load factor of 0.610, with a load factor of lack of representation 0,823, and the unjust treatment with a charge with load factor of 0.597.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the students' learning responsestoward Inquiry Based Learning method on the materials of Cooperative Concept andManagement. It was a qualitative descriptive approach and the research subjects were32 students of class X IIS 1 at SMA 1 Bae Kudus. The data were collected byobservation, documentation and interview. The results showed that students gavepositive responses toward the application of Inquiry Based Learning method sincestudents’ responses were very high at 85.51%.

Abstract

Each good decision making is the result of valid data analysis process and the appropriate analysis model. One of data analysis models that often used in research and decision making is path analysis model. This path analysis has an objective to explain either direct effect or indirect effect, or total effect from a set of cause variables toward effect variables. Mathematically and statistically, path analysis follows structural function model; to describe the structure of causal relationship between cause variables and effect variables.  By using path analysis, for researchers or decision makers can know direct effect, indirect effect and total effect from independent variables toward dependent variables. Besides, path analysis model can decrease the effect of multicolinearity, thus the coefficient value of path analysis partially was better and can solve the real problems from each independent variables toward dependent variables. It means, if the value of path analysis model was not absurd. Thus,  the way of decision making by using this model has a very small risk, so the decision will be more accurate.Keywords: Path analysis, direct effect, indirect effect, total effect.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to know the effectiveness of Team Games Tournament (TGT) method to improve the accounting creativity learning for accounting students in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga (2) to know the improvement of students’ interest in accounting learning through Team Games Tournament (TGT) method in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga, and (3) to know the improvement of students’ creativity and learning interest through Team Games Tournament (TGT) method in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. This study was class action research which was designed into three main cycles; they were 1st cycle, 2nd cycle and 3rd cycle.  Each cycle consisted of four stages started from planning - implementation - evaluation - analysis and reflection. The study was conducted for XI class in SMK Negeri 1 Salatiga. The collected data were: (1) students' activities during learning, (2) teacher and students’ interaction, (3) the level of students' creativity and interest, (4) student achievement and (5) students' response toward the learning process. The observation of learning process was conducted by the collaborators. The result showed that the good quality of learning process was if teachers were able to motivate students to learn actively and creatively. After analyzing the data, it showed that the students’ activeness to raise the new ideas was up to 91% while the students’ activeness to join the discussion group was only 84%. Then, the students’ enthusiasm in joining the game was up to 95%, it meant that the students were very interested in the game. In the first cycle, the students’ learning mastery increased from 24% to 62%, the increase of the second cycle was 8%. And finally, in the third cycle, it increased significantly by 22%. Thus; it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model with TGT type can improve students' understanding on the concepts learned.
