Dinamika Pendidikan (p-ISSN 1907-3720, e-ISSN 2502-5074) is a scientific periodical published by the Department of Economics Education, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Semarang collaborate with Asosiasi Profesi Pendidik Ekonomi Indonesia (ASPROPENDO), Asosiasi Profesi Pendidikan Akuntansi Indonesia (APRODIKSI), Asosiasi Sarjana dan Praktisi Administrasi Perkantoran Indonesia (ASPAPI) with the aim to promote creativity scholarly or academic lecturers from various institutions in general and the community UNNES internal academic specifically. The article published scientific literature contains research results, conceptually as well as reviews of books in the field of economic education, accounting education, and educational administration offices. First published in 2006, published in a year, June and December. Dinamika Pendidikan has become a CrossRef member with DOI prefix: 10.15294. Therefore, all articles published by the journal have unique DOI number. The journal has been also accredited for five years based on The Decree of Directorate General of Research and Development Strengthening, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 48a/E/KPT/2017, dated on October 30th, 2017.

Abstract

This research aims to know the descriptive of input, environment, and outcome; analyze the influence of input to outcome; analyze the influence of environment to outcome; analyze the influence of input to environement; and analyze the role of environment in mediating the influence of input to outcome. Student previous achievement consisting of Mathematics and Indonesian National Exam at Junior High School is the educational input. Student engagement consisting of school engagement and class engagement is the educational environment and student accounting competence is the educational outcome. This research was a quantitative research. Data analysis used descriptive and path analysis technique. The total population and sample consists of 128 students of first class accounting. The results and conclusions in this study indicate that accounting competence is still good, student engagement is good, and student previous achievement is very good. There are influences of mathematics National Exam, Indonesian National Exam, school engagement, and class engagement on student accounting competence; there are influences of Mathematics and the Indonesian National Exam on school engagement and class engagement. School engagement mediates the influence of mathematics National Exam on accounting competence, but it does not mediate the influence of the Indonesian National Exam on accounting competence. Then, class engagement mediates the influences of the mathematics and Indonesian National Exam on accounting competencies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find a model in improving RSBI vocational schools teachers’ English skills in Central Java. This study used research and development(R &D) design developed by Borg & Galland. It was a qualitative research; data were collected by interviews, questionnaires and observations to get the primary and secondary data. The study was located in Central Java focusing on RSBI Teachers’ English Skills. The benefit of the research was to provide an alternative in improving RSBI vocational schools teachers’ English skills. The result was a model product in improving RSBI vocational schools teachers’ English skills in Central Java. Thus, it is suggested for RSBI vocational teachers to improve their English skills by using this model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan model metode pembelajaran inkuiri dengan guru mata pelajaran sebagai pengamat yang menilai pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran inkuiri efektif  untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran ekonomi pokok bahasan pasar di kelas VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Kutowinangun Kabupaten Kebumen. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dapat disimpulkan bahwa telah terjadi peningkatan kemampuan afektif dan psikomotorik siswa dalam melaksanakan metode pembelajaran inkuiri berdasarkan perbandingan kemampuan afektif dan psikomotorik siswa. diharapkan metode inkuiri dapat diterapkan sebagai salah satu metode pembelajaran alternatif yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. Agar pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan metode inkuiri dapat dilaksanakan dengan baik, diharapkan guru melakukan pembimbingan dalam observasi lapangan yang dilaksanakan oleh siswa secara berkelompok. Abstract

This research aims to know the illustration of brand image, education cost, and education facilities related to the student’s decision in choosing the Accounting Department, Faculty of Teacher Training of Universitas Islam Riau. This research was conducted in August 2016. The subject in this research is the students of FKIP Accounting Department of Universitas Islam Riau, semester 3, 5 and 7 with a population of 318 students. 177 students were analyzed as sample. The technique of research used random sampling and method used descriptive quantitative. The data of brand image, education costs, education facilities, and student’s decisions are obtained from questionnaires. Multiple linear regressions were used to analyse the data and the calculation of coefficient determinant (R) was used to know the influence of brand image, education cost, and education facilities.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to find and to test the model of characters education in Learning Evaluation Subject through deep approach to learning. The subject of the study is the class of Learning Evaluation of Office Administration Program, Economics Education Department, Economics Faculty, Semarang State University. The data are collected by a test, and then analyzed by qualitative descriptive. The result of this study showed that the model of characters education through deep approach to learning could improve students’ self awareness in learning the subject.

Abstract

Prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain akreditasi sekolah dan persepsi guru mengenai supervisi kepala sekolah. Dengan peringkat akreditasi yang baik dan supervisi kepala sekolah yang baik diharapkan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi akan semakin baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh akreditasi sekolah dan persepsi guru mengenai supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah SMA se-Kabupaten Banjarnegara yang sudah diakreditasi dengan ukuran populasi sebesar 7 sekolah. Variabel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah akreditasi sekolah(X1), persepsi guru mengenai supervisi kepala sekolah (X2) dan prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi (Y). Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi, Metode analisis data yang digunakan dengan analisis deskripstif, analisis regresi sederhana, dan analisis regresi ganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, besarnya pengaruh akreditasi sekolah dan persepsi guru mengenai supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi sebesar 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara akreditasi sekolah dan supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine either simultaneously or partially teaching skills teacher, personal competence, and sosial competence of techer on student achievement at tenth grade of SMK N 1 Purwodadi. The Population in this research is tenth grade AP as many as 117 students. The Variables were examined in this study are teaching skills teacher, personal competence, and sosial competence of teacher. Data collection is used by the writer are questionnaires, tests, observation and documentation. Data analyzed using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. Results of this research multiple regression analysis is Y =56,484 + 0,138X1 + 0,118X2 + 0,154X3. There is a simultaneous effect of 58,2%, while the partial effect of teaching skills teacher by 22,09%, personal competence by 17,05%, and amounted to 7,23% of sosial competence.

Abstract

Stenography learning in class X Office Administration 3 at SMK Negeri 1Pemalang indicated the low learning motivation. The purpose of this research was toknow the students’ learning motivation improvement after using talking stick methodwith audio media at Stenography subject in class X Office Administration at SMK N 1Pemalang. It was a classroom action research conducted in three cycles which eachcycle was consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The datawere collected by observation and test. Then, the data were analyzed by percentagedescriptive. The results showed that talking stick method with audio media can improvestudents' motivation at Stenography subject in class X Office Administration 3 at SMKN 1 Pemalang. The average of students’ motivation on the first cycle was 63.08%, thenincreased up to 72.08% on the second cycle and finally, it went up to 85.08% on thethird cycle.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to evaluate the class assessment from many aspects; aspect and technique of class assessment, procedure of class assessment, they way to determine the students’ score rank, and the opinions of teachers, the principal, students about the practice of class assessment. The research is an evaluation research with a formative model. The subjects of this study were 3 teachers, 1 principal and 146 students of Office administration department. The data were collected with questionnaire, documentation and interview. The result showed that (1) aspect and technique of class assessment conducted by the teacher, based on students’ opinion was on poor category, based on the teachers’ opinion was on good category and based on the principal’s opinion was on very good category. Therefore, it was on good category, (2) assessment aspects conducted by the teachers were only cognitive and psychometric aspects; while affective aspect has not conducted yet. Thus, it was not comprehensive assessment, (3)the techniques of assessment used by the teachers were written test, oral test, practice, observation and task, however, portfolio assessment, journal, self-assessment and peer- assessment have not conducted yet in this subject, (4) the procedure of assessment based on students was poor, meanwhile the teachers and principal said it was good. (5) procedure of assessment conducted by the teachers did not fulfill the standard as stated in Panduan Penilaian Mata Pelajaran Produktif (The Assessment Guidance of Productive Subject) by Badan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (BSNP), (6) determining students’ end score is by combining students’ daily test, mid test, midterm test and final test and then divided into three, while all tasks are only the supporting score, and (7) the principal, the teachers and students expect the class assessment in still conducted since it gives benefit and improve students’ development significantly in education world.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to know the factors that  influence difficulty in learning accounting. The population were all XII IPS students, MA Al-Asror Gunungpati, Semarang. The sum were 83 students, therefore the population would be the sample of the study. Variables of the study consist of  internal factors (X1) included health condition, interest, motivation and learning habit, and external factors (X2) included school, family, and society factors as the independent variables and difficulty in learning accounting (Y) as the dependent variable.  Data was taken by questionnaire and analyzed by percentage descriptive and regression analysis. Result of the study showed that internal and external factors can influence the difficulty in learning accounting for XII IPS students MA Al-Asror Gunungpati Semarang. Based on the conclusion above, it is suggested that teachers attempt to improve interest and motivation and also to change the learning strategies as suggested in curriculum such as Contextual Learning and Teaching, Jigsaw Method, Thing Pair Share and Student Teaching Active Discussion that appropriate to the characteristics of Accounting subject that emphasizing Students-Center Learning.
