Abstract

Abstract. Lately appeared the issue of same-sex marriage in the Indonesian media that is triggered by the issue of foreign funds to support the existence of gays in Indonesia. Many parties issued their public statement in respond to the issue, including professional organizations in the field of psychiatry and psychology. This paper is going to discuss the issue of same-sex marriage through a review on the legal and socio-cultural aspects of homosexual existence and gay marriage in Indonesian context. The implications of gay marriage to the functioning of family will also be discussed.

Abstract

This research is aimed to know the factors which cause smoking behavior on student of Roudlotul Falah Moslem school, and how their smoking behavior: Subject of this research are six students of Roudlotul Falah Moslem School who smoke. Results from interview, observation, documentation, and graphic test (DAM and HTP). The results show the factors which cause smoking behavior of the students are psychological factors (one of way to be consider free and adult person among their friends who smoke, pass the free time, happiness, conformity, and considered manly, less confidence, and also education about disadvantages of smoking for health), environment factors (parental, siblings, peer group), cigarette advertisement, artist of cigarette advertisement, Moslem school regulation factor and society factor. In addition the result also shows that three is a cognitive dissonance in student who smokes. Three is inappropriate between cognition “I m a smoker" with cognition that smoking is makruh and it isn’t good for health.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi bahwa jumlah turnover karyawan pada tahun 2011-2015 mengalami siklus turnover yang cukup tinggi pada staf karyawan, peneliti berasumsi karyawan PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang memiliki komitmen organisasi rendah. Faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi komitmen organisasi adalah karakteristik kerja dan karakteristik organisasi yaitu terkait keadilan organisasi. Keadilan yang dimaksudkan adalah keadilan prosedural dan keadilan distributif yang disebutkan bahwa keadilan tersebut kurang dirasakan oleh karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh keadilan prosedural dan keadilan distributif terhadap komitmen organisasi di PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 128 staf karyawan di PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang. Probability sampling dipilih untuk menentukan sampel. Pengambilan data penelitian ini menggunakan tiga skala yaitu komitmen organisasi dengan koefisien validitas antara 0,308-0,690 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,860, keadilan prosedural memiliki keofisien validitas antara 0,223-0,728 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,808, dan keadilan distributif memiliki koefisien validitas antara 0,309-0,699 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,763. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komitmen organisasi, keadilan prosedural, dan keadilan distributif berada pada kriteria sedang. Hasil lain adalah ada pengaruh positif keadilan prosedural terhadap komitmen organisasi (nilai T = 7,312, p = 0,000), tidak ada pengaruh keadilan distributif terhadap komitmen organisasi (nilai T = 0,522, p = 0,603), dan ada pengaruh positif keadilan prosedural dan keadilan distributif terhadap komitmen organisasi (nilai F = 51,755 dengan p = 0,000).Abstract. This research is motivated that employee turnover rateis quite high from 2011-2015 the researcher assumes that the staff and employees of PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang have a low organizational commitment. Factors affecting organizational commitment are work characteristics and organizational characteristics, i.e. organizational justice. Justice means that procedural justice and distributive justice are not perceived by employees. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is influence of procedural justice and distributive justice on organizational commitment in PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang. This was a quantitative correlational study involving 128 staff and employees of PT. SAI Apparel Industries Semarang as the sample. Probability sampling was chosen to determine the sample. Data collection method used three scales, i.e. organizational commitment with validity coefficient of 0.308-0.690 and reliability coefficient of 0.860, procedural justice with validity coefficient of 0.223 - 0.728 and reliability coefficient of 0.808, and distributive justice with validity coefficient of 0.309 - 0.699 and reliability coefficient of 0.763. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis technique. The results showed that organizational commitment, procedural justice, and distributive justice were in the medium criteria. Then, the other results showed that there was a positive effect of procedural justice on organizational commitment (T = 7.312, p = 0.000), there was no effect of distributive justice on organizational commitment (T = 0.522, p = 0.603), and there was a positive effect of procedural justice and distributive justice on organizational commitment (F = 51.755, p = 0.000).

Abstract

Abstrak. Kehamilan merupakan fase penting bagi para wanita karena sebagai periode perubahan bagi penampilan dan berat badan. Sebagian wanita mampu menerima perubahan bentuk tubuhnya  dan merasa senang dengan perubahan saat kehamilan, namun juga terdapat beberapa wanita tidak merasa puas dengan bentuk badannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  memahami dinamika psikologis pada wanita hamil yang mengalami perubahan pada bentuk tubuhnya. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah dua wanita yang sedang hamil trisemester 2 dan 3 serta  mengalami perubahan berat badan diluar rekomendasi ahli kesehatan (bidan atau dokter). Data diperoleh dari melalui wawancara pada subjek dan informan yang sering berinteraksi dengan subjek. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, obeservasi dan asesmen diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi.. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data  model Miles & Huberman yaitu reduksi data,  penyajian data,  penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Pengujian validitas menggunakan triangulasi data dan teori, diskusi bersama dengan rekan sejawat dan mengadakan member check hasil wawancara untuk mengetahui kesesuaian data dengan subjek. Pengujian reliabilitas menggunakan uji depenability yaitu memastikan koherensi  dengan diskusi mengenai temuan dan analisis pada orang lain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wanita saat hamil juga sering  merasa tidak puas dengan citra tubuh selama masa kehamilan. Berdasarkan hasil dinamika psikologis pada kedua subjek, proses skema merupakan penentuan penafsiran individu mengenai dirinya termasuk perubahan citra tubuh yang dialaminya. Penafsiran negatif pada diri subjek akan mempengaruhi emosi individu dan terwujudkan dalam bentuk sikap. Disamping itu juga terdapat kontribusi penilaian dan perbandingan dari pihak eksternal sehingga menimbulkan penilaian serta penafsiran pada masing-masing subjek.  Penafsiran  tersebut mempengaruhi komponen persepsi, sikap dan perilaku subjek mengenai citra tubuhnya selama masa kehamilan. Abstract. Pregnancy is an important phase for women because as a period of change for appearance and weight. Some women are able to accept changes in body form and was pleased with the changes during pregnancy, but there are also some women do not feel satisfied with her body shape.This research is aimed to understand the psychological dynamic happening to pregnant women into experience the changing of their bodies. The subjects of this research are two women who are second and third tri semester of their pregnancies and they face the changing of their weights beyond the health expert recomendation (midwife or doctor). Data were obtained from interviews on the subject and informants who often interact with the subject. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and self assessment.This research uses qualitative method with phenomenalogical approach. This study uses data analysis techniques model of Miles & Huberman of data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. Testing the validity of using triangulation of data and theory, discussions with colleagues and holding member check on the interview to determine the suitability of the data subject. Reliability testing using depenability test is to ensure coherence with the discussions on the findings and analysis on others. The result of this research shows that pregnant women often feel not satistfied with their body’s image during their pregnancy periods. Based on the psychological dynamic results on those two subjects, schema process is the well as the experience of the changing of their body’s image. Negative intepretation of the subjects themselves will influences their individual emotions and will be shown through their attitude. Beside that, there also the assesment contribution and the comparison from external side that cause assesment interpretation to each subject.The interpretation influences components of perception, attitude and behavior of body’s image changing through pregnancy period.

Abstract

Abstrak.Wanita pekerja mempunyai peran dan tanggung jawab di dalam pekerjaannya serta di kehidupan pribadinya.Wanita rentan mengalami konflik peran, sehingga menjaga keseimbangan antara kehidupan dan pekerjaan (work-life balance) menjadi prioritas bagi wanita pekerja. Diduga, keseimbangan dapat tercapai ketika individu mendapat dukungan dari atasan yang dapat diwujudkan dengan gaya kepemimpinannya yang pro terhadap bawahan, yaitu relation-oriented leadership behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: menguji ada tidaknya pengaruh tingkat relation-oriented leadership behaviorterhadap work-life balance. Subjek penelitian ini adalah karyawati Bank X di Semarang. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 60 orang dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Alat ukur sekaligus pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah 2 skala psikologi, yaitu: skala relation-oriented leadership behavior (30 aitem) dan skala work-life balance (35 aitem).Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan Nilai F regresi sebesar  2861,980 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p < 00).Hipotesis penelitian: “Ada pengaruh relation-oriented leadership behavior terhadap work-life balance pada wanita pekerja” diterima.Sumbangan relation-oriented leadership behavior terhadap work-life balance adalah sebesar  98,1 % dan sisanya 1,9 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.Abstract. This research is motivated phenomenon increase in the number of women who work. Women workers have a role and responsibility in his work and in his personal life. Women prone to conflicts of roles, so that the balance between life and work (work-life balance) is a priority for women workers balance can be achieved with the support of the boss that can be realized with pro-style leadership to subordinates, namely relations-oriented leadership behaviors. The subjects were female employee at a regional office of Bank X in Semarang. Samples were taken of 60 people using saturated sampling technique. Measuring tool used is the psychological scale. Collecting data in this study using a scale relations-oriented leadership behaviors (item 30) with reliability coefficient of 0.756 and the scale of work-life balance (item 35) with a reliability coefficient of 0.855. Value 2861.980 with a regression coefficient of 0.000 at the significance level of 5% siginifikansi. Donations relations-oriented leadership behaviors toward work-life balance amounted to 98.1% and the remaining 1.9% is influenced by other factors. So the research hypothesis "there is the influence of relations-oriented leadership behaviors toward work-life balance for women workers" acceptable.

Awareness to optimalization the skill of student, especiallv about right of student to get good services which they have high capability and intelligent, has been formed acceleration program. This research will investigate and be focus to the problem of identification, the factor that cause appearance many problem in student of acceleration class d SD Hj Isriati Semarang, included how that solution. The characteristic of this research is exploration with case study approach Result of this research showed many problems appear in the beginning of class, especiallv socio emotional problem, like variations emotional mature, emotional over excitabilities, more quite, dependent, difficuIt to make the decision less responsibility and less independently, always egoist and perfectionist. In the end of class appear academic problem like underachiever at Class VI. The other hand student of acceleration class have a positive character like more active, courageous and critical student, easy for acceptance the advice, high discipline, awareness and never doing the serious violation. The reason of socio emotional problem : young age people, over protective parents, over services, the parent wants to know all about their child business, determining the high standard score for their child. Underachiever causes by the change of learning system when the student was on Class VI, bored more claim and less commitment of task. Suggestions: to prepare the students for their socio emotionally development, like : confident, mature emotionally, independent, and task of commitment. The parents should be support and giving adequate assistance, giving good and harmonize parenting pattern at home with school’s parenting pattern. The parents should not give more claim about standard achievement for their child, but they must monitoring and giving motivation, sensitive with their child problem. If there was seen stress indication or bad behavior, as soon as possible to get consultation to the teacher or psychologist. For school and teacher have to monitoring the achievement development student of acceleration class and to created good teaching to increase the task commitment of student, so that can get the wonderful academic achievement.

Abstract

Berangkat sekolah biasanya merupakan suatu hal yang menyenangkan bagi kebanyakan anak – anak, namun tidak semua anak merasakan hal yang sama. Bahkan terdapat beberapa anak yang tidak dapat menikmati aktivitas bersekolah dengan baik, sebagian ada yang menolak untuk pergi ke sekolah dengan berbagai macam alasan, ada juga yang memperlihatkan ketakutan, cemas, dan bahkan panik jika harus pergi ke sekolah (school refusal). Pada siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) kecenderungan perilaku untuk tidak hadir di sekolah disertai dengan ketakutan yang tidak irasional (emosi yang tinggi, seperti menangis, temper tantrum, atau keluhankeluhan fisik seperti sakit perut, pusing, mual,dan lain sebagainya) dan terjadi dengan periode dan alasan yang bervariasi yang berlangsung secara konsisten, dan dipengaruhi oleh beberapa penyebab. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap gambaran penolakan sekolah pada siswa SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan tes psikologis. Data dianalisis melalui tiga tahapan yaitu : reduksi data, display data dan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini melibatkan satu subjek sebagai narasumber utama dan empat subjek narasumber sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penolakan sekolah yang dilakukan berawal dari perubahan kondisi keluarga karena ayah meninggal, dan sejak saat itu subjek mulai menunjukkan perilaku yang negatif salah satunya adalah melakukan penolakan sekolah. Penolakan sekolah yang dilakukan subjek termasuk dalam tingkat kategori Chronic school refusal behavior, yaitu penolakan sekolah yang berlangsung lebih dari satu tahun.School has become essential that the environment can not be separated from the child’s life because most of the time children spent in school activities. Going to school is usually a fun thing for most kids - children, but not all children feel the same way. In fact, there are some children who can not enjoy a good education activities, some have refused to go to school for various reasons, there is also a show of fear, anxiety, and even panic if you have to go to school. Rejection of schools (school refusal) is a disorder of emotion shown by behavioral tendencies to not be present in schools occurs in children or adolescents accompanied by fear of the irrational (high emotion, such as crying, temper tantrums, or physical complaints such as abdominal pain, dizziness, nausea, etc.) and occurs with a period and varied reasons that take place consistently, and is influenced by a number of causes. This study aims to reveal the picture of school refusal on elementary school students. the method used in this study is a qualitative approach case study. The technique of collecting data using interview techniques, observation and psychological tests. Data analysis through three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion. In this study only one subject and four secondary sources. The results showed that school refusal of the subject originated from changes in family circumstances because the father died, and since that time the subject began to show negative behavior that one is doing school refusal. School refusal of the subject included in the category level of Chronic school refusal behavior, namely the rejection of the school that lasted more than one year.

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan frekuensi opini kicauan di Twitter terkait pro dan kontra terhadap gerakan LGBT. Riset ini termasuk dalam penelitian data mining kuantitatif dan terbagi dalam dua tahap. Pertama, analisis text mining wordclouds dan dilanjutkan analisis sentiment dalam tweet. Pendekatan sub metode bags of word dilakukan untuk merangkai sentiment dari twitter. Negative dan positive words murni melakukan perubahan dari sentiment lexicon Bing Liu dengan melakukan adaptasi ke bahasa Indonesia. Stop words yang merupakan bagian dari analisis text mining juga disesuaikan untuk kebutuhan analisis. Hasil yang didapat mengenai gerakan LGBT cukup konsisten dengan kondisi terkini, hasil dari wordclous simetris dengan histogram analisis sentiment, dimana frekuensi kata seperti “kumpul kebo”, “moral”, “Indonesia”, “perbincangan”, “dibui”, “pindah”, “ditantang”, “garis batas” terbilang tinggi, dan sebanyak 379 tweet beropini netral, 79 menyatakan positif dengan gerakan LGBT dan 27 menyatakan sikap negative. Abstract. Aim of this study is to describe the frequency of tweets on Twitter opinion related to the pros and cons of the LGBT movement. The core method research on text mining and sentiment analysis wordclouds with R was aplicated for this research. Bags of word method is done to assemble the sentiment of twitter. Negative and positive word of pure change of sentiment lexicon Bing Liu are adapted to Indonesian. Stop words that are part of the analysis of text mining is also made to meet up the needs of analysis. The results of the LGBT movement is quite consistent with the current conditions, the results of wordclous symmetrical with the analysis of sentiment, where the frequency of words such as "cohabiting", "moral", "Indonesia", "conversation", "jail", "move", " challenged "," borderline "is high, and as many as 379 is neutral tweet opinion, 79 expressed positive with the LGBT movement and 27 expressed negative attitudes toward it.

Abstract

The objective of the study is to know the problems that back ground enuresis interference happen to a college student in Yogyakarta. The test-taker is subject who does certain activity / prominent subject of the study, that is the subject who undergoes enuresis interference that give some exact and clear information. The number of subject of the study is one (N:1). The data collected from interview, observation, psychological test (DAM, HTP, Baum) and self monitoring as the method of collecting data. The result of the study shows that the major factor of the subject who undergo enuresis interference is because of less harmonious relationship with family. The overwhelming problem experienced by the subject made her feel depperessed. The pressure influences hypothalamus work, otonomical nurve system, and adrenal cortical system, but since of the pressure takes chemically, and subject could not overcome it so it attack the weakest part of the body, that is ureter, so enuresis happens

Abstract

Abstrak.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji ada tidaknya hubungan work engagement dan organizational efficacy. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah individu (karyawan) PT Yuro Mustika. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sejumlah 118 individu (karyawan). Teknik sampling yang dipakai yaitu incidental sampling. Data penelitian dihimpun menggunakan skala work engagement dan skala organizational efficacy. Skala organizational efficacy terdiri dari 43 aitem dengan koefisien daya beda aitem sebesar 0,308 sampai dengan 0,687 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,910. Skala work engagement terdiri dari 32 aitem dengan koefisien daya beda aitem antara 0,318 sampai dengan 0,597 dan koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,881. Organizational efficacy individu (karyawan) PT Yuro Mustika berada dalam kategori sedang dengan aspek yang paling berpengaruh adalah sense of mission, future or purpose. Kondisi work engagement individu (karyawan) PT Yuro Mustika berada dalam kategori sedang dengan dimensi yang paling berpengaruh adalah vigor atau energi dan ketahanan mental ketika menghadapi sebuah hambatan dalam bekerja. Metode analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment dengan hasil koefisien korelasi sebesar (rxy) 0,485 dan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,01). Berdasarkan nilai koefisien tersebut, hipotesis “ada hubungan work engagement dan organizational efficacy” diterima.Abstract. This research’s purpose is to find out the correlation between work engagement and organizational efficacy. This is a correlational quantitative research with the company employees from PT Yuro Mustika as the population. The number of sample that used in this research is 118 persons. Using incidental technique as the sampling technique, this research data gathered with work engagement scale and organizational efficacy scale. Organizational efficacy scale consists of 43 items with coefficient validity per item in the amount of 0,308 to 0,687 and reliability coefficient in the amount of 0,910. Work engagement scale consists of 32 items with coefficient validity per item in the amount of 0,318 to 0,597 and reliability coefficient in the amount of 0,881. The individual organizational efficacy of the employees in PT Yuro Mustika include in the middle category with the most influences aspect called sense of mission, future or purpose. The individual work engagement condition of the employees in PT Yuro Mustika include in the middle category with the most influences dimension called vigor or energy and mental toughness in facing the working obstacles. The analysis method in this research using correlation technique Product Moment with correlation coefficient result in the number of (rxy) 0,479 and the point of significant is 0,000 (p < 0,01). Based on the coefficient point above, the hypothesis “there is a correlation between work engagement and organizational efficacy” has been accepted. The higher work engagement the higher organizational efficacy too and so does the opposite, the lower work engagement the lower organizational efficacy.
