Abstract

Estimasi Matematika merupakan salah satu kompetensi dalam matematika yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan menaksir. Salah satu cara untuk melatih kemampuan estimasi dapat melalui strategi permainan tradisional Mpa’a Amba. Namun sebelum itu, dilakukan uji validitas dan reabel oleh dua ahli terhadap perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan yaitu RPP, LKS, BAS, dan Instrument kemampuan estimasi matematika. Setelah dilakukan penilaian, diperoleh bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan sangat valid dan sangat reabel. Menggunakan Instrument tersebut, maka diperoleh pengajaran menggunakan strategi Mpa’a Amba khusus materi Aritmetika Sosial untuk meningkatkan kemampuan estimasi matematika pada siswa kelas VII sangat efektif karena diperoleh nilai ketika di ukur menggunakan rumus N-Gain termasuk kategori tinggi. Hal itu dilihat dari perbandingan nilai pre test dan post test. Bahwa peningkatan nilai pre test ke post test antara 66,67 hingga 233,33%.Mathematical Estimation is one of the competencies in mathematics related to the ability to estimate. One way to practice estimation skills can be through the traditional Mpa’a Amba game strategy. But before that, validity and reliability tests were carried out by two experts on the learning tools developed, namely RPP, LKS, BAS, and Instrument of mathematical estimation ability. After the assessment, it was found that the learning tools developed were very valid and very reliable. Using these instruments, the teaching obtained using Mpa'a Amba's strategy specifically Social Arithmetic material to improve the ability of estimation in student’s the VII class is very effective because the value obtained when measured using the N-Gain formula is high. It was seen from the comparison of the pre-test and post-test scores. That the increase in the value of pre-test to post-test between 66.67 to 233.33%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pemberian tugas mandiri pre-instructional pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan pemahaman persamaan lingkaran dan garis singgung lingkaran siswa kelas XI IPA 1 SMAN 9 Malang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, tes tulis, catatan lapangan, dan penilaian diri siswa. Penerapan pemberian tugas mandiri pre-instructional pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dilaksanakan dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (1) guru memberikan tugas mandiri pre-instructional sebelum pelaksanaan pembelajaran, (2) guru meninjau ulang materi sebelumnya atau prasyarat dengan strategi tanya jawab, (3) guru mengkomunikasikan tujuan dan aturan pembelajaran, (4) menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yang meliputi presentasi kelas, diskusi kelompok, dan kuis, (5) guru meminta siswa menyimpulkan materi yang dipelajari, dan (6) guru memberikan tugas mandiri pre-instructional untuk pembelajaran berikutnya. Tahap pemberian skor kemajuan individual dan penghargaan kelompok di laksanakan setelah dua kali pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Dari hasil penelitian siklus I, siswa yang mencapai nilai lebih dari atau sama dengan 78 ada sebanyak 72,22%, sedangkan pada siklus II ada sebanyak 83,33%.The purpose of this study is to describe the steps giving independent pre-instructional tasks on STAD cooperative learning to improve the understanding of the equation of the circle and tangent to the circle in grade 11 IPA 1 SMAN 9 Malang. This type of research is a classroom action research. Data collection techniques used were observation activities of teachers and students, a written test, field notes, and student self-assessment. The implementation of the giving independent pre-instructional tasks on STAD cooperative learning carried out by steps as follows: (1) the teacher gives the task independently pre-instructional prior to the implementation of learning, (2) the teacher to review the previous material or prerequisite to the strategy frequently asked questions, (3) teachers communicate the objectives and rules of learning, (4) implementing STAD cooperative learning which include class presentations, group discussions and quizzes, (5) the teacher asks the students concluded the material being studied, and (6) the teacher gives the task independently pre-instructional for the next lesson. Phase scoring the progress of individual and group awards implemented, after twice implementation of learning. From the results of the first cycle studies, students who achieve a value greater than or equal to 78 there was as much as 72.22%, while in the second cycle there is as much as 83.33%.

Abstract

This classroom action research applied personality based learning which increase students' condition as subject of progressing their personality. The aims of the research were involving personality based learning model for students as mathematics teacher candidate, increasing students' affection, study result based personality, dynamics of students' activities and students' learning process were followed multi directions interactions among students. The main finding of this study, the average of first cycle test was 50,2 and the post-test was 57, difference between them was 6,8. The average of activities and competence performance during first cycle was 6,8 this value was more than success standard i.e. 6,5. The habits of study based personality was not enough planted in themselves, but this was decreased in next cycles. The average of teaching lecturer's performance during first cycle was good enough i.e. 7,1 so that was more thansuccess indicator i.e. 6,5. The average of second cycle was good enough i.e. 72,94 and the difference between them was 5,02 it was more than 5 so standard of success was attained. The average of individual score in team work was 66,67 it was more than minimum success indicator i.e. 6,5. The average of teaching lecturer's performance in second cycle was 8,07 more than first one i.e. 7,33 maybe caused the lecturer was more familiar with this method.Keywords: personality based learning, mathematics teacher candidate

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) seberapa besar peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model concept attainment BERBUDAI berbantuan pop-up book pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar, dan 2) apakah pemahaman konsep siswa yang menggunakan model concept attainment berbudai berbantuan pop-up book lebih baik dari pada yang menggunakan model konvensional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada SMP Negeri 27 Semarang Jawa Tengah. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 27 Semarang kelas VIII. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling sebanyak dua kelas meliputi kelas kelas eksperimen, dan kelas kontrol. Pengambilan data menggunakan tes meliputi pretest dan posttest. Analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model pada kelas eksperimen dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan selisih antara nilai pretest dan posttest menujukkan cukup besar yaitu 21.588. Pemahaman konsep siswa kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari pada yang menggunakan kelas kontrol dengan perbedaan rata-rata posttest sebesar yaitu 4.647.This study aims to determine 1) how much increase the understanding of the concept of students who are taught using a CULTURE-based concept attainment model with pop-up book on the material on the flat side space, and 2) whether the concept understanding of students using pop-up book assisted concept attainment models better than using conventional models. This research was carried out at Semarang Public Middle School 27 Central Java. The population of this research is students of SMP Negeri 27 Semarang class VIII. The research sample was taken using cluster random sampling as many as two classes including experimental class class, and control class. Data retrieval using tests includes pretest and posttest. Data analysis was performed using paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the application of the model in the experimental class could improve students' understanding of the concept with the difference between the pretest and posttest scores which showed a large number of 21,588. Understanding the concept of students in the experimental class is better than the one using the control class with an average posttest difference of 4,647.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan lintasan belajar yang dapat membantu siswa memahami konsep bentuk pangkat melalui konteks perkembangbiakan hewan secara vegetatif. Design Research dipilih sebagai cara yang tepat untuk mencapai tujuan. Lintasan belajar (Hypotetical Learning Trajectory) dalam design research memegang peranan penting sebagai desain dan instrumen penelitian. Lintasan belajar dirancang dalam tahap desain awal dan diujikan pada 50 siswa kelas IX (yaitu, 6 siswa pada pilot experiment dan 44 siswa pada teaching experiment) SMP YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang. Hasil dari percobaan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas menggambar proses perkembangbiakan hewan secara vegetatif dapat mendorong siswa untuk melihat bentuk penggandaan yang terjadi, dan ketika siswa melihat penggandaan melalui pemodelan (bagan/skema) yang siswa buat, siswa memiliki ide untuk menghitung hewan baru yang terbentuk kemudian menggunakan bilangan kelipatan untuk menentukan banyak hewan baru. Dari bilangan kelipatan, ide untuk menyatakannya kedalam bentuk perkalian berulang membawa siswa ke dalam definisi bentuk pangkat.This study aims to produce a trajectory of learning that can help students understand the concept of form promoted through the context of animal breeding vegetatively. Design Research chosen as the appropriate way to achieve the goal. Learning trajectory (Hypotetical Learning Trajectory) in design research plays an important role as design and research instruments. Tracks study was designed in the early design stages and was tested on 50 students of class IX (ie, 6 students in pilot experiments, and 44 students in the teaching experiment) SMP YPI Tunas Bangsa Palembang. Results of experimental study showed that the activity of drawing process animal breeding vegetatively can encourage students to look at the shape of doubling that to happen, and when students see a doubling through modeling (chart / schema) that students make, the students had the idea to calculate the new animal that is formed later use number multiples to determine a lot of new animals. Multiples of the numbers, the idea of putting it into the form of repeated multiplication bring students into the definition of the form of the rank.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi mengubah pecahan ke bentuk persen, desimal dan sebaliknya dengan menggunakan model make a match di kelas V SD Negeri 050687 Sawit Seberang T.A 2013/2014. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil pada siklus I Pertemuan I skor aktivitas guru adalah 82,14 dengan kriteria baik dan aktivitas belajar dalah aktif. Tindakan dilanjutkan sampai dengan siklus ke II. Pada pertemuan II siklus II skor aktivitas guru adalah 96,42 dengan kriteria sangat baik dan aktivitas belajar klasikal adalah sangat aktif. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa tindakan penelitian berhasil karena nilai indikator aktivitas belajar siswa dan jumlah siswa yang dinyatakan aktif secara klasikal telah mencapai 80%. Dengan demikian maka penggunaan model make a match dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas V SD Negeri 050687 Sawit Seberang pada mata pelajaran Matematika materi mengubah pecahan ke bentuk persen, desimal. Kata Kunci:      Model Make a Match; Aktivitas Belajar Siswa  AbstractThis reseach aim is to know the student activity on Math at topic change the fraction into percent, desimal and vice versa, using make a match model on fifth grade of SDN 050687 Sawit Seberang 2013/2014. This is a classroom action research which is used activity observrvation sheet as its instrumen of collecting data. From the analisys of data, it is got result as follows: on cycle I meet I, teacher activity score is 82,14, which was mean good, and learning activity was active. The action and then continued until second cycle. On the meet II cylce II, it was got teacher activity score is 96,42, which was mean very good, and clasical learning activity was very active. Based on the result, it was conclude that the action was succes because reach the indicator, that was 80% of student active. So, the using make a match model can raise the student activity of learning on fifth grade of SDN 050687 Sawit Seberang on Mathematics especially on topic changing the fraction into percent, decimal. Keywords:          Make a Match model; student learning activity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemecahan masalah generalisasi siswa dengan gaya kognitif field independent (SI) dan field dependent (SD). Subjek penelitian adalah 2 siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Candi yang masing-masing bergaya kognitif FI dan FD. Penelitian dimulai dengan menentukan subjek penelitian menggunakan instrumen GEFT dan TKM, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemberian TPM dan wawancara. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi waktu. Tugas generalisasi pola melibatkan pola bilangan, gambar, dan masalah kontekstual.This research is a descriptive research with qualitative approach that aims to describe solving problem of generalization of student with cognitive field independent (SI) and field dependent (SD). The subjects of the study were 2 students of class VII of SMPN 1 temple each having cognitive style of FI and FD. Research begins with determining the subject of research using GEFT and TKM instruments, followed by TPM and interviews. We were checking the validity of data using time triangulation. The task of pattern generalization involves patterns of numbers, images, and contextual problems.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk (1) membentuk karakter tanggung jawab dan keterampilan komunikasi matematika siswa melalui pembelajaran matematika dengan model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan scaffolding pada materi pokok  segitiga kelas VII dan (2) mengetahui apakah kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan scaffolding pada materi pokok  segitiga kelas VII dapat mencapai KKM yang ditentukan atau tidak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif kolaboratif. Subjek penelitian dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakter tanggung jawab dan  keterampilan komunikasi matematika kelima subjek penelitian mengalami peningkatan. Hasil tes kemampuan komunikasi matematika kelima subjek penelitian juga telah mencapai KKM yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran problem posing berbantuan scaffolding dapat membentuk karakter tanggung jawab dan keterampilan komunikasi matematika siswa.The purpose of this research is (1) to forming a responsibility character and mathematics communication skills of students through mathematics learning with model of Problem Posing assisted scaffolding on triangles material of grade VII and (2) to know the mathematics communication ability of students can achieve the specified Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) or not. This research is a collaborative qualitative research. The subjects research are chosen by  purposive sampling technique. The research results showed that the responsibility character and mathematics communication skills of  the five subjects was increase. The mathematics communication ability test results showed that the five subjects can achieve the specified MMC. Based on the explanation above can be concluded that the application of learning model problem posing assisted scaffolding can form the responsibility character and mathematics communication skills of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi hasil belajar siswa yang belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal yang telah ditetapkan. Di samping itu, model pembelajaran yang diterapkan  monoton, sehingga aktivitas siswa rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi dimensi tiga akibat pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan alat peraga sederhana berbahan limbah sedotan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siklus. Subyek penelitian ini siswa kelas XII IPA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Dempet Demak semester gasal  tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan angket yang selanjutnya dianalisis sebagai data kualitatif, serta penilaian hasil ulangan blok dianalisis sebagai data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan alat peraga sederhana berbahan limbah sedotan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan rata – rata mencapai 75,44 dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas mencapai 86,84%, dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa menjadi 3,68 (sangat aktif). Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran yang telah diterapkan adalah sangat positif (80,99%). Oleh karena itu, model pembelajaran PBL  berbantuan alat peraga sederhana berbahan limbah sedotan dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran matematika, khususnya dimensi tiga .This  research is based on the learning result of students who have not met the minimum completeness criteria that have been determined, besides that, learning model that is applied  monotonically so that student activity is low. This study aims to determine the activity of student learning result in the three dimensional material due to PBL learning models assisted with simple teaching aids made from straws. This research is a classroom action research with three cycles. The subject of this research is XII IPA-1 of SMAN 1 Dempet of the odd semester in 2017/2018. Taking data in this research used observation and questionnare techniques which are then analyzed as qualitative data and the result of block test are analyzed as quantitative data the result of the study  showed that the PBL learning models assisted with sample teaching aids made from straws can improve student learning results by an average of 75,44 with the number of students who completed 86,84% can improve student activity to 3,68 (very active). Student response to the learning model that has been applied is very positive (80,99%). Therefore, PBL learning models assisted with simple teaching aids made from straws can be applied to mathematic learning, especially the three dimensions.
