Abstract

Antara dosen dan mahasiswa merupakan satu kesatuan yang sulit dipisahkan sehingga dibutuhkan suatu metode yang mampu berjalan dengan baik pada proses pembelajaran. Kondisi ini coba diterapkan pada mata kuliah ekonometrika sebagai peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa. Ekonometri sebagai salah satu mata kuliah yang relatif sulit dan membutuhkan pemahaman yang lebih tinggi. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, dibutuhkan metode pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan kemudahan pada proses pembelajaran.  Proses pembelajaran dengan pendekatan student center learning pada kuliah ekonometrika ternyata memberikan efek yang positif. Indikator yang digunakan sebagai ukuran keberhasilan metode pembelajaran adalah perolehan nilai pada kuliah ekonometrika. Berdasarkan survei terhadap 41 orang mahasiswa, hampir sebagian mahasiswa mencapai nilai rata-rata cukup baik. Walupun demikian masih ada mahasiswa dengan perolehan nilai yang relatif  rendah. Sehingga diharapkan pendekatan student center learning mampu menjembatani komunikasai antara dosen dengan mahasiswa.   Lecturers and students are a unity that is difficult to separate each others, it is needed appropriate method on the learning process. This condition is tryied to apply in econometric subjects as improving students’ ability. Econometrics is as one of the subject that is relatively difficult and requires a higher understanding. Under these conditions, it takes a learning method that can facilitate the learning process. The process of learning to approach student learning center on econometric study found a positive effect. Indicators to a measure of success are the grade of learning in college econometrics. Based on a survey of 41 students, most students achieve an average grade. Thus even though there are still students with relatively low grades. So expect a student approaches learning center is good communication between lecturers and students.

Abstract

In the Indonesian school system, English is a compulsory subject taught atvarious education levels with the emphasis on reading and writing skills. In spite ofthe importance of mastering reading and writing skills, most high school students arestill unable to read and comprehend English texts properly. Besides, it is hard for themto write a simple English text appropriately. One possible way to solve the problem isby applying new strategies to improve their reading and writing skills. One of thestrategies that can sufficiently be used is cooperative learning. It is a teachingarrangement that refers to small, heterogeneous groups of students working together toachieve a common goal (Kagan, 1994). There are some types of cooperative learning,one of them is CIRC. This type may be suitable for teaching reading and writing. Itwas shown in the action research involving year VIII students of Isriati Junior HighSchool of Semarang, Indonesia. The study was conducted in five cycles and aiming atknowing the effective interaction in the language classroom. Through theimplementation of the study, the students' average scores increased in each cycle.Besides, they looked creative and enthusiastic when they were working in groups.Kata kunci: pembelajaran membaca, metode Cooperative Learning

Abstract

Perencanaan merupakan tugas penting dari suatu organisasi. Perencanaan menjadi hal yang sangat penting karena pada kenyataannya manusia dapat mengubah masa depan apabila segala sesuatunya direncanakan dengan baik dan secara matang, demikian juga yang terjadi dalam konteks pembelajaran, perencanaan pembelajaran harus berorientasi pada pencapaian tujuan yang ingin dicapai. Tujuan dari penelitian tindakan sekolah ini adalah meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dan perencanaan pembelajaran tematik dalam menyusun RPP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan 2 kali siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah test. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pelatihan dengan metode studi kasus dalam kelompok besar dan kelompok kecil dapat meningkatkan kompetensi profesional dari kondisi awal tarap serap (53,89%) ke siklus II tarap serapnya (83,89%) meningkat (30%). Pelatihan dengan metode studi kasus dalam kelompok besar dan kelompok kecil dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun RPP Tematik dari kondisi awal tarap serap (46,11%) ke siklus II tarap serapnya (86,11%) meningkat (40%). pelatihan dengan metode studi kasus dalam kelompok besar dan kelompok kecil dapat meningkatkan kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran Peer Teaching dari kondisi awal tarap serap (42,22%) ke siklus II tarap serapnya (83,89%) meningkat (41,67%).Planning is an important task of an organization. Planning is very important because in fact humans can change the future when everything was well planned and matured, so too are happening in the context of learning, planning of learning should be oriented to the achievement of the goals to be achieved. The goal of this school action research is to increase the professional competence and planning of thematic study in drawing up the RPP. The research method used is action research school with 2 time cycle. Data collection techniques used is the test. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive percentage. Abstract

Language is not static. It undergoes evolution in all aspects: meaning, structure, and use. Nowadays Indonesian language develops in an unregular way. The research intended to detect the change of some words which are frequently used but seems in another way as before. As method, it adopted the qualitative approach and used the theory of syntax, morphology, and pragmatics as reference to analyse the data. The data was gathered from televison and newspapers, in the form of words, clauses, or phrases.The respondents were a group of people in the domain of education, administration, dan arts. To analyse their input, the cross-check between it and those of two experts in Indonesian language has been made. As reference, we used dictionnaries, grammar books, and pragmatic books. The result showed that about 15 words undergo evolution and need attention from Pusat Bahasa. The institute should decide whether the changes should be legalized or it’s the teaching of Indonesian language which must be improved. Kata kunci: evolusi, morfologi, sintaksis, pragmatik

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki proses belajar mengajar, dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas guru mata pelajaran PKn, melalui pendekatan Konsepsi Pembelajaran PKn, serta  memperbaiki proses belajar mengajar, dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas guru mata pelajaran PKn, melalui pendekatan Konsepsi Pembelajaran PKn, serta meningkatkan efektifitas penggunaan pendekatan Konsepsi pembelajaran PKn dalam pembelajaran PKn. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitia tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa melalui penerapan konsepsi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kualitas guru dalam mengajar mata pelajaran PKn di SMA LTI IGM Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kontribusi faktor-faktor: (1) perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, (2) iklim kerja organisasi sekolah, dan (3) motivasi kerja guru terhadap produktivitas kerja guru SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah survey explanatory, dengan fokus hubungan kausal antar faktor pembentuk produktivitas kerja guru sebagaimana telah diuraikan di atas. Populasi penelitian adalah guru-guru SMP Negeri di Kota Semarang yang tergabung dalam empat MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran), yaitu mata pelajaran: matematika, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, dan ilmu pengetahuan alam. Data dikumpulkan dengan alat pengumpul data kuesioner dari 92 orang guru dan dianalisis dengan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor perilaku kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dan iklim kerja organisasi sekolah secara simultan dan signifikan berkontribusi terhadap faktor motivasi kerja guru sebagai pembentuk produktivitas kerja sebesar 35%, sisanya dibentuk oleh faktor lain di luar faktor yang diteliti. This study aims to examine the contribution of three different factors, namely, (1) the school principals’ leadership; (2) school organization working climate; and, (3) teachers’ work motivation, to the overall productivity of State Junior High School teachers of Kota Semarang. This study employed explanatory survey method, which focused on the causal relationship amongst the factors that determine teachers’ working productivity. The population in this study is the teachers of the State Junior High Schools of Kota Semarang who are the active members of the Teachers Working Groups (Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran, MGMP) of four different subjects, namely Mathematics, Bahasa, English, and Science. The data were gathered through questionnaires given to 92 participating teachers and then analyzed through path analysis approach. The results of this study show that simultaneously both the school principals’ leadership and the working climate of school organization gave a significant contribution to the teachers’ working motivation (35%). The remaining was contributed by different factors uninvestigated in this study.

The aim of this learning research with approach contextual with vision of thisSETS is to improve the environmental learning quality with indicators: enthusiastic,result of ledming and classical completed. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengembangkan model pendampingan lembaga kemahasiswaan dengan menerapkan metode penelitian dan pengembanga penelitian telah menghasilkan buku profil mahasiswa berprestasi, dan model pendampingan lembaga kemahasiswaan yang telah divalidasi. Hasil uji coba skala terbatas telah mendapatkan data tentang kinerja pengurus lembaga kemahasiswaan sebagai dampak penerapan model. Kinerja mahasiswa dinyatakan baik dengan skor rata-rata 3,5 dari skor maksimal 4. Sesuai hasil penelitian sementara yang telah dihasilkan, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu; model pendampingan lembaga kemahasiswaan yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini mendapakan penilaian layak dari pakar model dan pakar kebahasaan.The research aims to develop a model mentoring student organizations to implement research methods and research has produced a book pengembanga profile outstanding students, student organizations and mentoring models that have been validated. Limited scale trial results have obtained data about performance management student body as a result of application of the model. Otherwise good student performance with an average score of 3.5 out of a maximum score of 4. According to the research results while has been generated, it can be concluded that; student organizations mentoring models developed in this study mendapakan worthy of an expert assessment model and a linguist.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pelaksanaan bimbingan bertahap pada kegiatan MGMP dalam upaya meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun RPP yang baik dan benar, yang bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme sebagai Pengawas Akademik dan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Hipotesis tindakan: meningkatkan kompetensi guru guru SMA Negeri Mapel Bahasa Inggris tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 dalam menyusun RPP yang baik dan benar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, masing-masing siklus dua kali pertemuan. Tahapan setiap siklus adalah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Indikator keberhasilan dalam penelitian ini adalah; 1) hasil observasi Pengawas Akademik maupun observasi guru selama proses bimbingan telah memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,0, 2) hasil kerja guru dalam penyusunan RPP mencapai 85% dengan nilai rata-rata 80,00. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I observasi Pengawas Akademik rata-rata (3,30), observasi guru rata-rata (3,40) dan hasil kerja individual rata-rata nilai (68,95) dengan prosentase ketercapaian (0%). Pada siklus II observasi Kepala Sekolah rata-rata (4,30), observasi guru rata-rata (4,20) dan hasil kerja individual rata-rata nilai (85,43) dengan prosentase ketercapaian (100%). Indikator keberhasilan telah tercapai, penelitian di nyatakan berhasil dan dihentikan pada siklus II. Kesimpulan; pelaksanaan bimbingan bertahap dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru guru Bahasa Inggris SMA Negeri Kota Palembang dalam penyusunan RPP yang baik dan benar. Disarankan agar Pengawas Akademik  lainnya melakukan penelitian sejenis dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan kepada guru mata pelajaran agar mampu menyusun RPP dengan baik dan benar. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of phased guidance in MGMP activities in an effort to improve teacher competency in preparing good and correct lesson plans, which are useful for improving professionalism as Academic Supervisors and for teachers to improve the learning process in the Classroom Action hypothesis: increasing the competence of teacher teachers in the English Language State Senior High School in the school year 2017/2018 in preparing good and correct lesson plans. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The indicators of success in this study are; 1) the results of Academic Supervisor observation and teacher observation during the guidance process have obtained an average score of 4.0, 2) the work of the teacher in the preparation of RPP reaches 85% with an average score of 80.00. The results of the study in the first cycle of Academic Supervisor observation were (3.30), teacher observation on average (3.40) and individual work results averaged (68.95) with achievement percentage (0%). In the second cycle of observation the Principal averaged (4.30), the average teacher’s observation (4.20) and the individual work results averaged (85.43) with the achievement percentage (100%). Indicator of success has been achieved, the research was declared successful and stopped in cycle II. Conclusion; the implementation of gradual guidance can improve the competence of English teachers in Palembang City Public High School in the preparation of good and correct lesson plans. It is recommended that other Academic Supervisors conduct similar research in an effort to improve teacher competence, and to subject teachers so that they are able to formulate lesson plans properly and correctly.
