Abstract

Learning is a set of individual process which changes someone's stimuli andenvironment into a number of information which can give ability to learner to do aperformance. In order to achieve an instructional goal effectively instructional aidsshould be used. One of the learning media supporting eleventh grade students ofSMANU 05 Brangsong Kendal was direct learning done in Ronggowarsito MuseumSemarang. The problem discussed in this study was how the direct learning of historywas applied in Ronggowarsito Museum for the eleventh grade students of SMA NU05 Brangsong Kendal. The second problem was how the students responded to theactivity. This study aims to know the application and the students responses to thedirect learning of history. The method used in this study was qualitative. The datawere collected through observation and interview. The result of the study showed thatby applying direct learning of history in the museum, the students' motivationimproved significantly. Consequently, the students were confident in asking questionsand were active in doing assignments given by the teacher. The study concluded that toget rid of boredom in the history class the teacher should apply interesting techniquessuch as a visit to the Ronggowarsito Museum.Kata kunci: Museum Ronggowarsito, pembelajaran, sejarah, media pembelajaran

Abstract

Penggunaan tes prestasi belajar sebagai alat utama untuk menentukan tercapai atau tidaknya tujuan pembelajaran kurang sesuai diterapkan dalam pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Kurikulum 2013 menganjurkan penggunaan asesmen autentik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan asesmen autentik berbasis proyek pada tema panas, mengetahui kualitas serta hasil belajar siswa yang diukur menggunakan asesmen autentik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (RD). Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini berupa hasil validasi pakar, tanggapan siswa dan guru, serta hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian berupa asesmen autentik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan berdasarkan konsep five dimensional framework for authentic assessment. Asesmen autentik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan mendapat kriteria sangat baik dari pakar bahasa, materi dan evaluasi. Koefisien reliabilitas yang diperoleh dalam uji skala besar untuk instrumen penilaian diri, penilaian teman, penilaian proyek, penilaian sikap, dan tes pilihan ganda adalah 0,855; 0,561; 0,870; 0,697; dan 0,601. Penilaian hasil belajar menggunakan asesmen autentik berbasis proyek berupa semua siswa menunjukkan kompetensi sikap yang ingin diukur, sebanyak 83,67% siswa telah tuntas pada kompetensi kognitif, dan semua siswa tuntas pada kompetensi psikomotorik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, asesmen autentik berbasis proyek yang dikembangkan berdasarkan five dimensional framework for authentic assessment layak digunakan pada tema panas kelas VII SMP dan dapat mengukur kompetensi afektif, kognitif dan psikomotorik siswa.An achievement test used as main tool, for deciding whether or not learning purposes are complete, is not well-suited on project-based learning. Curriculum 2013 encourage for using authentic assessment in learning process. The purposes of this study are to develop authentic assessment based on project, its quality and student’s holistic learning achievement on the theme of heat that measured by it. The research design applied in this research is a Research and Development (RD). The research data are consist of validity product by experts, students and teachers response, and student’s study result. The result of this research is authentic assessment based on project that are developed by five dimensional framework for authentic assessment. The result showed that authentic assessment based on project have a very good quality in language, content material, and evaluation aspect. Coefficient reliability in large scale phase for self-assessment, peer-assessment, project-assessment, attitude assessment, and multiple choices is 0.855, 0.561, 0.870, 0.697, and 0.601. In implementation phase, all of students show some attitudes, 83.67% of students exceled at cognitive competency, and all of students exceled at skills that are measured. Based on those data, it can be concluded that authentic assessment based on project in the theme of heat that had been developed is well-applied for and capable of measuring afective, cognitive, and psychomotor aspects of 7th grade junior high school.

Abstract

Kompetensi yang ingin dicapai dari mata kuliah manajemen katering adalah agar mahasiswa memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang konsep manajemen katering serta terampil mengelola usaha katering. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1). Untuk mengetahui apakah metode mengajar lesson study dapat meningkatkan pemahaman materi kuliah manajemen katering? 2). Untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah aktivitas mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan manajemen katering dengan menggunakan metode mengajar lesson study. Metode penelitiannya adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan dua siklus, mengikuti prosedur: (1) perencanaan (planning), (2) pelaksanaan tindakan (action), (3) observasi (observation) dan (4) refleksi (reflection) dalam setiap siklusnya. Untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi manajemen katering, dilakukan dengan membandingkan nilai tes ke-I dengan tes ke-II, serta membandingkan nilai tes ke-II dengan tes ke-III, menggunakan t- test. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I didapat data sig. (2 tailed) yang nilainya .000 dan ternyata 0.010 sehingga sangat signifikan, artinya ada perbedaan antara nilai pada tes I dengan tes II. Untuk mengetahui mana yang terbaik dilihat dari capaian rata-ratanya, dimana rata-rata yang tertinggi ada pada tes II yaitu 76,08, sehingga dapat dikatakan ada peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I dan II. Hasil penelitian pada siklus II data sig. (2 tailed) nilainya .000 dan ternyata 0.010 sehingga sangat signifikan, artinya ada perbedaan antara nilai pada tes II dengan tes III. Untuk mengetahui mana yang terbaik dilihat dari capaian rata-ratanya, dimana rata-rata yang tertinggi ada pada tes III yaitu 78,25, sehingga dapat dikatakan ada peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus II dan III dengan menggunakan metode lesson study.   Interest that wish reached by from eye of management course catering is in order to student haves knowledge and an understating of concept of catering management and skillful effort catering management. Intention of research this is the: 1). To know wether method of lesson study can improve understanding of management course matter catering? 2). To know how student activity in catering management by using method of lesson study. Its research method is research of class action that conducted with two cycles, follow procedure: (1) planning, (2) action,  (3) observation and (4) reflection in every its cycle. To know improvement of student understanding to catering management, conducted by compare to value first tes with second tes, and compare to value second tes with third tes, use t-test. Research Result at cycle first got data sig. (2-taileds) that its value .000 and in the reality 0.010 until very significant, that means there is difference between value at first tes and second tes. To know maximum the best are seen from performance the average of its, where the average of the very top is on second tes that is 76,08, so it’s can be told there is result improvement learns from cycle first and second. The lecturing process is the ones of the education aspects to be evaluate, behind input and output aspects, at the university. The lecturing process must be planning, implementing, and evaluating. Evaluator of the lecturing process usually to be done by lectures. Evaluation subject are university students. Lectures rarely to evaluate their performs and competencies. In order to increase the university quality, the perform and competencies lectures, activity, interest, and motivation students were evaluated. Abstract

Karakter sebagai suatu ’moral excellence’ akan memiliki makna ketika dilandasi atas nilai-nilai yang berlaku dalam budaya (bangsa). Karakter luhur bangsa merupakan warisan leluhur yang dinyakini kebenarannya dan dipertahankan oleh masyarakat dalam menjalani kehidupan. Nilai-nilai karakter yang dipertahankan akan menjadikan ciri khas kepribadian bangsa. Karakter luhur diwariskan melalui produk tulisan berbentuh karya sastra lama. Syiir sebagai hasil karya leluhur kaya akan nilai-nilai karakter. Kajian ini diarahkan pada upaya mengkonservasi nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam naskah syiir kemudian menginternalisasikannya pada generasi masa kini dengan gaya milenial. Kegiatan konservasi syiir dalam kajian ini menggunakan metode filologi sedangkan kegiatan internalisasi melalui penciptaan model penyajian syiir secara milenial. Kajian terhadap karya sastra yang di tulis oleh leluhur ditemukan nilai-nilai karakter luhur. Nilai karakter luhur tersebut berupa ajaran budi pekerti, nasehat, aturan, pantangan atau anjuran dalam menjalani kehidupan. Penyajian model syiir milenial akan mendekatkan proses komunikasi antara syiir sebagai produk masa lalu dengan generasi milenial. Syiir milenial diharapkan mampu menjadi salah satu anternatif penanaman nilai karakter pada generasai masa kini.  Character as a 'moral excellence' will have meaning when based on values that apply in culture (nation). The noble character of the nation is an ancestral heritage that is believed to be true and is maintained by society in living life. Defended character values will make the personality traits of the nation. Sublime characters are inherited through written products that touch old literature. Syiir as an ancestral work is rich in character values. This study is directed at efforts to conserve character values contained in syiir texts and then internalize them in the present generation with millennial styles. Syiir conservation activities in this study use the philology method while the internalization activities through the creation of millennial syiir presentation models. Studies of literary works written by ancestors have found noble character values. The value of the noble character is in the form of teaching character, advice, rules, taboos or suggestions in living life. The presentation of the syiir millennial model will bring the process of communication between syiir as a product of the past with the millennial generation. Syiir millennial is expected to be able to become one of the alternatives in planting character values in today's generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan deiksis yang digunakan dalam teks percakapan dan menjelaskan bagaimana penggunaannya dalam konteks yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif-kuantitative deskriptif. Untuk mendapatkan data nya, peneliti menggunakan tekhnik observasi. Ada tiga belas teks percakapan yang untuk dianalysis yang diambil dari buku ajar Bahasa Inggris “Pathway to English”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan deiksisyang sering muncuk adalah person deixis. Person deiksis muncul 234 kali, discourse deixis muncul47 kali, place deixis muncul 16 kali, time deixis muncul 15 kali, dan social deixis muncul 12 kali. Berdasarkan konteks dalam tiap percakapan, kata ganti orang “Saya”, “You”, “They”, “Dia” dapat merujuk pada subjek imajiner yang tidak ada dalam kehidupan manusia. Demikian pula dengan kata ganti “Kita atau Kami” yang bisa bermakna persatuan. Kesimpulannya adalah sangat penting untuk kita mengerti konteks dalam membaca maupun dalam berbicara kepada orang lain, karena akan memudahkan kita untuk paham apa yang dimaksud oleh pembicara.The study aims at finding out deictic words in conversation texts and explaining how they were realized under what context. The study used a descriptive qualitative-quantitative method. To get the data, the researcher used an observation technique. Thirteen conversation texts were chosen, taken from an English textbook “Pathway to English” for Senior High School. The result showed that the most dominant deixis appeared in the conversation was person deixis. Person deixis appeared 234 times. Discourse deixis appeared 47 times. Place deixis appeared 16 times. Time deixis appeared 15 times, and social deixis appeared 12 time. Based on the context in the conversations, the persondeixis of pronoun “I”, “You”, “They”, “He”, and “She” could be used to refer to an imaginary person in real life, while “We” could also mean a unity. Therefore, it is crucial to consider context-dependency in reading or having conversations with people, as it arrives at a correct interpretation of the utterance.

Abstract

Play is a joyful activity and an inherent need for children so that children maylearn many skills in pleasure without any pressure. Trough play, children will be wellprepared for their environment and be ready on their next educational levels.Children’s intelligence is not only determined by a single score based on anintelligence test which measures the verbal, linguistic, and logical mathematicalcompetence. Children also have an intelligence which is called multiple intelligences.People have more or less 8 intelligences, which are verbal linguistic, logicmathematic, visual spatial, kinesthetic, music, interpersonal, intrapersonal, andnaturalistic. The multiple intelligences should be well understood by teachers, parents,and other educators. They should not develop only verbal, linguistic, and logicalmathematical intelligences. Developing multiple intelligences during early childhoodcan be conducted through a joyful play. Abstract

Pembelajaran materi daur ulang limbah berorientasi bioentrepreneurship dengan model project based learning merupakan pembelajaran yang dibutuhkan untuk memberikan bekal kewirausahaan dan kreativitas peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis validitas dan keterlaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian pre-tes post-tes control group design.  Sampel penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MAN Mejayan pada tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Pengambilan sampel dengan cluster random sampling. Data hasil penelitian berupa data soal hasil tes, lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian produk, serta angket respon peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran daur ulang limbah berorientasi bioentrepreneurship dengan model PjBL memiliki kriteria valid untuk validitas dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran.Learning on waste recycling material oriented on bioentrepreneurship by using Project Based Learning model is to provide a knowledge on entrepreneurship and creativity for students. This study aims to analyze the validity and enforceability of this learning device. This study used experimental research design (pretest posttest control group design). The subjects were he students of class X MAN Mejayan in the academic year 2014/2015 by using cluster random sampling technique. The data were gained through the results of the test, the data of observation sheets for implementation of learning, assessment of products, as well as the questionnaire responses of learning towards learners. The results showed that the development of waste recycling learning oriented on bioentrepreneurship by using PjBL model was effectively done. The validity and enforceability of this learning device were valid and very good criteria.

Abstract

To teach science is basically to teach about everything in the universe. Sincetheir early age children could actually be introduced to the nature, and theirengagement in or observation of any kind of natural process may help them to enrichtheir experience and sense of science. In this sense, therefore, the use of naturalresources is important as it will also allow them to do some experiments, to furtherexplore and investigate their natural surrounding. These ability and skills areundoubtedly of a great usefulness for and in their future. Within the currentKindergarten Curriculum, science teaching is a part of the cognitive developmentenhancement. Unfortunately, in teaching science to their young learners, often,teachers adopt teaching strategies which do not suit their stage of development, forexample through the introduction of abstract scientific concept. In fact, children ofearly age think in a concrete way, and therefore, to teach them more effectively, is tosome extent to bring the subject matter to a more concrete way. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didikmelalui Model Discovery Learning. Berdasarkan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IX F SMP 5 Semarang dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris sub- memberi dan meminta informasi terkait Teks Naratif dalampenguasaan kosakata ditemukan bahwaminat dan hasil belajar peserta didik masih sangat rendah.  Rata – rata minat belajar sangat kurang dan hasil belajar masih sangat rendah atau masih dibawah KKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Discovery Learning.  Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi.Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus dengan empat kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 32 orang peserta didik kelas IX F SMP 5 Semarang.Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan test.Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan deskriptif persentase.     Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkanminat dan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris sub-memberi dan meminta informasi terkait Teks Naratif dalam penguasaan kosakata di SMP 5 Semarang.Minat belajar peserta didik dari siklus I ke siklus II. Minat belajar pada siklus I adalah 20,31% meningkat menjadi 35,40%, peningkatan minat belajar signifikan dengan nilai KKM yang diharapkan. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar juga mengalami peningkatan yangsignifikan,dari siklus I ke siklus II . Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I adalah 76,25% meningkat menjadi 83,44%. The purpose of this study is to increase students’ interest and learning outcomes through the Discovery Learning Model. Based on the interests and learning outcomes of students of class IX F of SMP 5 Semarang in English sub-giving and asking for information related to Narrative Texts in vocabulary mastery, it was found that students’ interest and learning outcomes are still very low. The average interest in learning is very lacking and learning outcomes are still very low or still under the KKM (Minimal Completeness Criteria). This research uses  the Discovery Learning model. The procedure of this research includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study uses two cycles with four meetings. The research subjects consisted of 32 students of class IX F of SMP 5 Semarang. Research data were collected using observation sheets and tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive percentages. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Discovery Learning Learning Model can increase the interest and learning outcomes of students in English subject sub-giving and asking for information related to Narrative Texts in vocabulary mastery in SMP 5 Semarang. Students learning interest from cycle I to cycle II. Learning interest in the first cycle was 20.31% increased to 35.40%, a significant increase in learning interest with the expected KKM value. As for learning outcomes also experienced a significant increase, from cycle I to cycle II. Students learning outcomes in the first cycle was 76.25% increased to 83.44%.
