Abstract

Many software development projects encounter problems related to over- or under-estimation of effort. Accurate effort estimation is crucial for successful project management, but it can be challenging when resources are limited, and little is known about the project. The commonly used method for effort estimation is Use Case Points (UCP), which is mainly used for application-based objects and takes use cases as input. However, UCP has weaknesses, particularly in the high variation of weight factor values for Unadjusted Use Case Weight (UUCW). To address this problem, Fuzzy Use Case Points (FUCP), which is a combination of fuzzy logic and use case points, can be used. By applying fuzzy logic to the UUCW category, FUCP derives new weight factor values for UUCW. The implementation of FUCP to calculate effort estimation in ten government-based projects in this research has shown that FUCP yields the closest value to the actual effort required. It has also been demonstrated that FUCP outperforms UCP in terms of accuracy, with an improvement of 6.51%.

Abstract

Deep Learning has been rapidly developed. Almost all proposed methods already have very high accuracy. Most of these methods still use techniques from the past with some modifications to adapt to existing modules. Sometimes it is necessary to understand past methods to produce new methods. Therefore, this research examines past models that have the potential to improve the performance of existing deep learning models. The methods to be examined include Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ), Hebbian learning, and Self-Organizing Map (SOM). The iris dataset available on Scikit-learn (SKlearn) is used here for testing in cases of supervised learning and unsupervised learning (especially SOM). The results show that LVQ has a good accuracy of 93%, while Hebbian learning has an accuracy of 56%. SOM fluctuates between 88% and 93%. Although the accuracy of SOM does not exceed LVQ, this model does not require labels in its training process.

Abstract

The high yield of domestic household waste is a significant problem for environmental hygiene, where waste management is still not a top priority to provide profit opportunities for the community and the government. Thus, to campaign for ecological hygiene solutions by applying information technology in the form of a Garbage Bank, which can help deal with domestic waste, especially plastic waste. The Waste bank application is built using the CodeIgniter framework, which has the concept of Model, View, Controller (MVC), which has functions such as a model for the database framework, views of the system view and controllers as actions for executing user commands. The system was also developed using the extreme programming method with the advantage of being fast in development, simple and object-oriented. The resulting system has conducted a feasibility test to conclude that it is following its function. This research resulted in a system of three parts: the admin section, which can manage data on partners, customers, pick-ups to withdraw funds and reports. The partner section manages customer data, waste, pick-up and reports, and the customer section registers, views the history of saving waste, withdraws funds, and views types of waste and partners entirely done online.

Abstract

The Smart Village System is a platform specifically designed to help publicize village potential. Of course, it is very important to test UI/UX on sidespin websites which are still very far from perfect, so it becomes a question of whether the UI/UX sidespin is in line with the expectations of the community as the target user. This study intends to design UI/UX on sidespin websites by utilizing the UCD method which aims to improve interface quality, efficiency, and productivity as well as community satisfaction. The UI/UX design on this sidespin website uses the UCD method because several stages involve establishing a relationship and interaction between users. 5 people are willing to become User Personas who can provide input on user satisfaction which will be evaluated using a Heuristic Evaluation which will be combined with Survey Ratings. The results of this study state that all aspects of the satisfaction level of the User Persona are in the satisfied category. Recommendations were found to be developed by the Smart Village System Team, among others, in terms of the principles of Heuristic Evaluation 4, 5, and 6. Consistency and Standards have restructured sentences and are consistent from one page to another. Error Prevention has added many features to the sidespin and finally, Recognition rather than recall has implemented local and rural nuances on the page sidespin.

Abstract

The distribution of medical records at Kebonjati Hospital, especially for patients who register online, still uses a manual system which can obstruct the data search process, therefore a computerized system is needed. This study aims to design an information system for distributing outpatient medical records for online patients. The research method is descriptive qualitative, data collected through interviews and case studies. The system development method uses the Agile Software Development method with the stages of planning, implementation, testing, documentation, deploying, and maintenance then implemented using Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 into the Visual Basic programming language. The research designed an information system for distributing outpatient medical records online at Kebonjati Hospital that had been adapted to the needs of medical recorders. This information system is in the form of applying the concept of clinical management by designing good services and developing quality work plans for hospital management purposes.

Abstract

Several villages in South Sumatra do not yet have a way to develop and advance their economy by selling local products that they make themselves, one of which is Burai Village. These products consist of agricultural products, handicrafts, special foods and typical clothing from the village. So far, the products they make are only sold and bought by people close to the village, both people from within the village and from outside the village. That way the income of village product sellers is not that big because the products they sell don't have a place to promote their products so that they can be known by many people and can be disseminated. To promote these village products, the author will make a Village Product catalog on the Sistem Desa Pintar (SIDESPIN) website, using the Web Engineering method and the Laravel framework to make it easier to develop the village product catalog features. With this research a village product catalog will be produced on the SIDESPIN website such as e-commerce which will be used to promote the village's products so that they can be known more widely.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the most optimal decision support system method and decision alternatives in the Accounting and Management study program, University of X which has experienced a decrease in learning interest or demotivation so that the study program can take special care for these students to continue studying. The methods used in this study are the SAW and TOPSIS methods with the criteria of GPA, time of study, parents' income, and distance from home. The test results show that the SAW method has the highest preference value compared to the TOPSIS method of 0.992 so it is feasible to apply in the Accounting and Management study program, University X, Bogor City. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan metode sistem pendukung keputusan yang paling optimal serta alternatif keputusan di program studi Akuntansi dan Manajemen, Universitas X yang mengalami penurunan minat belajar atau demotivasi sehingga pihak program studi dapat mengambil penangan khusus terhadap mahasiswa tersebut agar tetap melanjutkan perkuliahan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, yaitu metode SAW dan TOPSIS dengan kriteria IPK, waktu studi, pendapatan orang tua, dan jarak rumah. Hasil uji menunjukan bahwa metode SAW memiliki nilai preferensi paling tinggi dibanding metode TOPSIS sebesar 0,992 sehingga layak diterapkan di program studi Akuntansi dan Manajemen, Universitas X, Kota Bogor.

Abstract

Communication needs are very important along with the progress and development of today's communication technology. This requires better network capabilities to handle large data traffic and improve access speed and quality. Karang Jaya Health Center only uses 1 ISP as the main running internet network. The network often experiences downtime and slowness because quite a lot of clients use the network. Applying the nth method of load balancing techniques is a solution to maintaining the quality of the internet network at the Karang Jaya Health Center. The research method for implementing the nth load balancing method is divided into two, namely the data collection method consisting of the stages of Observation, Interview, Documentation, and Literature Study. As well as the development method, namely the Analysis Stage, Design Stage, Simulation Stage, Implementation Stage, Monitoring Stage, and Management Stage. After configuring the nth load balancing method on the proxy device at the UPTD Karang Jaya Health Center, it was found that the traffic results from the division of the two ISP lines were active and the traffic load was divided evenly so that overloads could be avoided. Distribution of traffic load is prioritized by seeing which ISP is not busy with greater bandwidth speed. As well as managing bandwidth can optimize the performance of the internet network at the Karang Jaya Health Center.

Abstract

As technology develops, computer networks have a very important role because they have many advantages, such as ease and efficiency. In designing research on bandwidth quality on wireless LAN networks at the Baidhaul Ahkam Islamic Education Foundation, the method used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) and has several stages, namely Analysis, Design, Simulation Prototyping, implementation, Monitoring, and Management. This research will analyze the quality of bandwidth on wireless LAN networks at the Baidhaul Ahkam Islamic Education Foundation using the QoS (Quality of Service) method of tiphon standards. The results of the measurements obtained will then be processed and analyzed to provide value information, Throughput, Packet Loss, Delay, and Jitter used to describe or evaluate the quality of the wireless LAN network that has been provided. The quality of bandwidth traffic at the Baidhaul Ahkam Islamic Education Foundation can be seen from each throughput value of 938k, Packet Loss of 0%, delay of 2.784333 ms, and jitter of 2.76 These values are included in the excellent category. From these results, it can be concluded that the bandwidth available today still meets the needs of internet use at the Baidhaul Ahkam Islamic Foundation

Abstract

Since the Covid pandemic, it has become popular to purchase used clothing. However, there are still obstacles to purchasing used apparel, such as limited selection, quality, and lack of product information. To address this issue, Fashion Campus, a platform for purchasing and selling used clothing with an attractive UI and excellent UX, was developed. UI/UX design is essential for ensuring a positive user experience, and Figma, a web-based vector design application, is being utilized for collaborative efforts. The Design Thinking method is used to increase the efficiency of collaboration and reduce development time. This iterative process permits researchers to gain a deeper understanding of users, to challenge presumptions, and to redefine existing problems in order to identify strategies and solutions. By focusing on the user experience, Design Thinking can lead to the creation of UI/UX Fashion Design by identifying new methods to enhance that experience.
