Abstract

Since the need of electricity power is increased and the lack of fuel as basic production material, then the electrical power optimalization becomes critical thing. One of the alternative to increase production efficiency can be achieved by optimalizing production task that described on the load distribution which comes out in certain interval and time for each gas turbine as electrical production machine. Method that used in this paper is dynamic programming that fit with the multistages optimation. While to identify production system characteristic than Lagrange Polynomial Interpolation is used based on the production data.

Abstract

One of the compensation form which can given by the business to employee was Opsi Saham Karyawan (OSK). It gave right to employee to buy a part of the business share at a period in future with the fixed value. In giving OSK, there are fitures to accommodate the needs of business and employee attitudes. The fitures used in determination of OSK with the Verr model are vesting period, exit rate, reload, and reset. Discounted Feynman Kac can be used to find the partial differential equation to determine the value of OSK after pass the vesting period.

Abstract

Performance of the reactor core influence by changes the composition of nuclear material, including the neutron distribution and power. Therefore it is important to monitor the isotropic composition in the core during reactor operation, because some of fission product may affect the performance of the reactors. Burn up calculation performed in this study using Bateman equations as semi-analytic approach and explicit finite difference as numerical approach. The calculation of burn-up is done every day and alternating with the calculation of diffusion of each one year. Keff value for semi-analytical approach and numerical approach around of 1.00. This value has shown that reactor core on critic’s situation. The advantage of semi-analysis approach is able to calculate the nuclide has a short decay time and low disintegration constants than numerical approach, especially for transmutations chains complex. Abstract

The aims of research are to find the effect of the peanut compost in decreasing TPH value of soil polluted petroleum and to know the optimal compost concentration to increase the N concentration. This research used the group randomized design with one treatment, namely concentration of peanut compost. Results of research showed that concentration of N, P, K elements in peanut compost were 1.15 %, 0.10 % and 0.73 %, respectively. The peanut compost with concentration of 385 g/kg soil, 500 g/kg soil, and 636 g/kg soil gave effect to decrease TPH value and to increase the N elements in soil polluted petroleum.

Abstract

The propose of research is to find the capability of the SBEG-g-PMMA to adsorb Cd(II) ion. This research used batch method with various of pH, contact time, and initial concentration of solution. Characterization was conducted by FTIR and AAS. The IR spectrum of the SBEG-g-PMMA showed the presence of carbonil group (C=O) at 1735.4 cm-1 and C-O ester at 1244.14 cm-1. While the optimum adsorption capasity of the SBEG-g-PMMA to Cd(II) ion was obtained at pH of 6, contact time of 10 minutes, and initial concentration of 300 ppm. Adsorption of Cd(II) ion using the SBEG-g-PMMA followed the Langmuir isotherm with maximum adsorption capasity of 47.60 mg/g adsorbent.-1 and C-O ester at 1244.14 cm-1. Abstract

The proposes of reseach are (1) to know the biolarvaside activity of tapak dara’s methanol extract against Aedes aegypti larva, (2) to know effect of tapak dara’s methanol extract to lethality degree of Aedes aegypti larva. In this research extraction was conducted by maceration, the kinds of the secondary metabolites constituent were identified by qualitative test, and biolarvaside test using Aedes aegypti larva. Based on the research, the LC50 value of tapak dara’s methanol extract was 1804.82 ppm. The ANOVA analysis showed that concentration of tapak dara’s methanol extract enfluenced the lethality degree of Aedes aegypti larva. The higher the concentration of tapak dara’s methanol extract, the higher the lethality degree of Aedes aegypti larva.50 value of tapak dara’s methanol extract was 1804.82 ppm. Abstract

This research is purposed to know adsorption capability of pillaring bentonite in regenerating the waste cooking oil. Pillaritation was carried out using aluminium, while the quality of waste cooking oil yielded from regeneration was observed based on the colour, acid number, water conten, and peroxide number. The results of research showed that the bentonite pillared by AlCl3.6H2O 0.3 M and NaOH 0.5 M gave the maximal characteristics, namely acid number (0.2549%), peroxide number (5.626413 meq), water content (776 ppm) and color brightness (L3.5). It can be concluded that the pillaring bentonite could improve the quality of waste cooking oil and suitable with the quality requirements of SNI 01-3741-2002. 3.6H2O 0.3 M and NaOH 0.5 M gave the maximal characteristics, namely acid number (0.2549%), peroxide number (5.626413 meq), water content (776 ppm) and color brightness (L3.5). Abstract

Effect of chemical reaction was discribed using the hard ball collision model and the present chemical reaction model on properties of the binary dense gas transport experiencing reversible reaction according to equation : A + A B + B. The reactive collision used near the final condition ofreaction, with the smallest of chemical affinity and near equilibrium. Discussion was done through framework of gas kinetic theory using base of extended of Boltzman equation. Effect of chemical reaction was found to appear in coefficient of gas transport as at bulk viscosity in form e*/kT. e*/kT.

Abstract

The research objective: to describe the influence of variation of pH and boiling time on the activities of digestive enzymes. This research used Post Test only Control Group Design, which observed variables were the enzymes activities of amylase, protease, and lipase both in duodenum and pancreas. In vivo study using 54 Rattus norvegicus, Wistar strain. The treatment animals were divided into 8 groups treatment feeding and 1 group standard feeding. The treatment feeding was a diet with high fiber of long yard beans with variation of pH (3 and 7) and boiling time (0, 5, 20, 35 min). After the treatment period of 48 days, data were analyzed through inferential statistics ( = 0.05). Results showed that pH and boiling time affect on the enzymes activities of amylase, protease, and lipase both in duodenum and pancreas. At high fiber dietary of long yard beans, increasing pH and boiling time treatments, resulting the lowest decreasing digestive enzymes activities. All feeding treatments yielded the lower enzymes activities compare with the standard diet, except the activity of the pancreatic amylase on the treatment of pH 7 – 20 min or 35 min, and duodenum lipase on pH 3- 35 min of boiling time. The highest enzymes activities in the duodenum and pancreas were on the pH 7 - 35 min of boiling time treatment.
