Abstract

Effect of chemical reaction was discribed using the hard ball collision model and the present chemical reaction model on properties of the binary dense gas transport experiencing reversible reaction according to equation : A + A B + B. The reactive collision used near the final condition ofreaction, with the smallest of chemical affinity and near equilibrium. Discussion was done through framework of gas kinetic theory using base of extended of Boltzman equation. Effect of chemical reaction was found to appear in coefficient of gas transport as at bulk viscosity in form e*/kT. e*/kT.

Abstract

The research objective: to describe the influence of variation of pH and boiling time on the activities of digestive enzymes. This research used Post Test only Control Group Design, which observed variables were the enzymes activities of amylase, protease, and lipase both in duodenum and pancreas. In vivo study using 54 Rattus norvegicus, Wistar strain. The treatment animals were divided into 8 groups treatment feeding and 1 group standard feeding. The treatment feeding was a diet with high fiber of long yard beans with variation of pH (3 and 7) and boiling time (0, 5, 20, 35 min). After the treatment period of 48 days, data were analyzed through inferential statistics ( = 0.05). Results showed that pH and boiling time affect on the enzymes activities of amylase, protease, and lipase both in duodenum and pancreas. At high fiber dietary of long yard beans, increasing pH and boiling time treatments, resulting the lowest decreasing digestive enzymes activities. All feeding treatments yielded the lower enzymes activities compare with the standard diet, except the activity of the pancreatic amylase on the treatment of pH 7 – 20 min or 35 min, and duodenum lipase on pH 3- 35 min of boiling time. The highest enzymes activities in the duodenum and pancreas were on the pH 7 - 35 min of boiling time treatment.

Abstract

Formation good regression model or suitable for a statistical data principlely was connected with scatter diagram of noticed variable. Application of regression model had two goal namely (1) to predict relationship one free variable or more and one unfree variable or more. (2) to predict value hoped for unfree variable if value of free variable known. In dailylife it was not always constant, so that it was necessary to have the suitable statistical model to data. The regresion studying it was called segmented regression. From scatter diagram could be predicted linier data pattern so that the first probability it could be applied simple linier regression model and second probability it was used linier segmented regression model if there is the difference of special dot pattern. Based on two linier regression model could be chosen the best linier regression model was regression model having the highest R2.

Abstract

The propose of research was to being sure in using the suitable medicine for different types of diabetes. This research used randomised control-group pretest-posttest design, almost every-day each of 30 old Norwegian white rats was starved for 2 days and was forced to an exhausted run-walk at least 1.5 hours. It rested 1 hour before it was handled. Results showed that although insulin had its effect only on smashed muscle only on 45’ (Hi:H), the effect was seen from 15’-45’ (Hi:Si). Glibenclamide had its effect faster on smashed muscle (15’) rather than on sliced muscle (45’) (Hg:H), but the significant difference on both forms muscle had seen on 15’ and 30’ (Hg:Sg). Both substance effected faster on smashed (from 15’-45’) (Hig:H), rather than on sliced muscle (only on 45’) (Sig:S), but the mixture effect on both forms of muscle had seen from 15’-45’ (Hig:Sig),. Compared to insulin, their mixture effect showed a significant difference only on sliced muscle 15’ (Sig:Si), While the decreasing glucose concentration on sliced and smashed muscle themselves had significant difference from 15’-45’ (H:S),. Therefore only glibenclamide, works slowly on cell membrane. Both insulin and glibenclaide work inside the cells, but glibenclamide works faster. In their mixture, insulin strengthened the effect of glibenclamide on cell membrane. i:H), the effect was seen from 15’-45’ (Hi:Si).
