Abstract

The aims of this research were to know the enfluence of concentration of Carica papaya’s methanol extract to lethality of Aedes aegypti’s larvas and to determine the biolarvaside activity of Carica papaya’s methanol extract against Aedes aegypti’s larvas. In this research, extraction conducted using maceration method and biolarvaside activity (LC-50) was analyzed by probit analysis. The results of research showed that concentration of Carica papaya’s methanol extract enfluenced the lethality of Aedes aegypti larvas with LC-50 of 1409,61 ppm.

Abstract

The goal of research were to find percent yield of octyl p-metoxycinnamat (OPMS) obtained from direct esterification between p-metoxycinamic acid and n-octanol using the Zinc pillaring bentonite as catalyst. Zinc pillaring bentonite was made by mixing the bentonite and pillaring agent at 80 oC for 50 menutes. OPMS was prepared by heating p-metoxycinamic acid and n-octanol using zinc pillaring bentonite for 4 hours at 60-70 oC. Structure of OPMS was identified by spectroscopic methods including UV-Vis and IR spectrophotometer, while percent yield was determined using densitometry method. Based on this research, percent yield of OPMS was 42,4196 %.oC for 50 menutes. OPMS was prepared by heating p-metoxycinamic acid and n-octanol using zinc pillaring bentonite for 4 hours at 60-70 oC. Abstract

The aim of research was to test the stability of the sunscreen 2-ethyl hexyl p-methoxycinnamate (EHPMS) in bentonite pillared Ti4+. The stability was determined by comparing with the sunscreen 2-ethyl hexyl p-methoxycinnamate without bentonite terpilar Ti4+ using TLC and IR spectrophotometer. The results of stability test showed that the EHPMS more stable in bentonite pillared Ti4+ matrix.4+. A flavanone namely 5-hydroxy-7-methoxy flavanone (pinostrobin) had been isolated from dichloromethane extract of the leaves of the Pteriss vittata. It was gained as a pale yellow needles, m.p. 96-97 oC. Abstract

Since the need of electricity power is increased and the lack of fuel as basic production material, then the electrical power optimalization becomes critical thing. One of the alternative to increase production efficiency can be achieved by optimalizing production task that described on the load distribution which comes out in certain interval and time for each gas turbine as electrical production machine. Method that used in this paper is dynamic programming that fit with the multistages optimation. While to identify production system characteristic than Lagrange Polynomial Interpolation is used based on the production data.

Abstract

One of the compensation form which can given by the business to employee was Opsi Saham Karyawan (OSK). It gave right to employee to buy a part of the business share at a period in future with the fixed value. In giving OSK, there are fitures to accommodate the needs of business and employee attitudes. The fitures used in determination of OSK with the Verr model are vesting period, exit rate, reload, and reset. Discounted Feynman Kac can be used to find the partial differential equation to determine the value of OSK after pass the vesting period.

Abstract

The aim of research was to fabricate and characterize the directional microstrip antenna which has structure 4 array with fiber subtrate for communication wi-fi 2.4 GHz. Fabrication was carried out using etching ferroclorit method. Antenna structure consisted of 4 simetry array. Characterization results showed that antenna could be applicated as directional antenna with VSWR value of 1.16. Radiation pattern was radial (vertical and horizontal) with gain of 18-20 dB and HPBW 450. 0.

Abstract

Performance of the reactor core influence by changes the composition of nuclear material, including the neutron distribution and power. Therefore it is important to monitor the isotropic composition in the core during reactor operation, because some of fission product may affect the performance of the reactors. Burn up calculation performed in this study using Bateman equations as semi-analytic approach and explicit finite difference as numerical approach. The calculation of burn-up is done every day and alternating with the calculation of diffusion of each one year. Keff value for semi-analytical approach and numerical approach around of 1.00. This value has shown that reactor core on critic’s situation. The advantage of semi-analysis approach is able to calculate the nuclide has a short decay time and low disintegration constants than numerical approach, especially for transmutations chains complex. Abstract

The aims of research are to find the effect of the peanut compost in decreasing TPH value of soil polluted petroleum and to know the optimal compost concentration to increase the N concentration. This research used the group randomized design with one treatment, namely concentration of peanut compost. Results of research showed that concentration of N, P, K elements in peanut compost were 1.15 %, 0.10 % and 0.73 %, respectively. The peanut compost with concentration of 385 g/kg soil, 500 g/kg soil, and 636 g/kg soil gave effect to decrease TPH value and to increase the N elements in soil polluted petroleum.
