Tulisan ini memuat bagaimana melakukan ‘source selection’ dalam kasus memilihvendor pengembang sistem informasi akademik STIE Indonesia menggunakan metodeAnalytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP adalah sebuah metode untuk mendapatkan solusiterbaik dari beberapa alternative solusi yang ada dengan memanfaatkan ‘pairwisecomparison’ sebagai dasar dalam menentukan pilihan. Abstract

Nowadays web has expanded rapidly. It has no longer present static information, butit developed into dinamically information provider which provide a new information in a fastway using what we called web based application. Using this application, web can providesusers to the information that they need. In it’s expansion, web can hold so much informationto maintain, this condition can make the information retrieval effort become a problem. Thispaper will analyze the use of optimized query for retrieving information from a databaseusing web based application. Abstract

Text convertion to Batak Mandailing Script is a software to convert a common textinto Batak Mandailing Script written. Text convertion process is merge of letters in BatakMandailing Script. Before a sentence able to written in Batak Mandailing Script, it have toseparated into words that arranged the sentence in a text processing module. Then the wordsseparated into its arranged root words. From the root words the system will be seek thesuitable script to show on the screen.Searching toward the suitable script must be done considering the written rules of aletter may differ following the condition when it transform into the script. It also more flexiblethan consider root words as smallest units which will have more combination. Moreover, bymerging the suitable script, stored script data will be smaller. Digital script data will bestored in Batak Mandailing Script files.Text processing module consist of few parts. The Parts designed by following the stepsfound in Compilation technique by concerning text transform into Batak Mandailing Scriptthat usually done. Among the parts is lexical analyzer which separated the sentence intowords, syntax analyzer to separated words into root words, semantics analyzer to separatedroot words into set of the semantics which aim to draw near it to code generator., and it willbe written by code executor into Batak Mandailing Script.Depending on the trial obtained a conclusion that the software capable to convert acommon text into Batak Mandailing Script. Every test that had been done is fit with ”how towrite Batak Mandailing Script”.Keywords: convertion text ,batak mandailing script.

Abstract

The Internet, especially World Wide Web (WWW) has been used extensifely in manyfields including higher education. In this regard, business students are amongst the activeuser of the Internet because it can provide up-to-date information about business from allover the world. The current study that uses Davis’ TAM as a framework investigates the impactof external variables - such as internet self-efficacy, search engine knowledge, systemquality characteristics - on the use of WWW as the learning support tool. Respondents whowere accounting students from several universities in Yogyakarta were obtained using quotasampling method. Of the 240 sent questionnaires, 158 usable responses were obtained. Theresults of data analysis using multiple regressions indicate that all but one hypothesis aresupported.Keywords: Internet, World Wide Web (WWW), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), e-Learning, student, accounting.

Abstract

Facilities layout has very important relation with material handling systems. One ofthe most problem in production systems is caused by unsystematic material handling. In thisresearch, we will try to implement simulated annealing algorithm to layout machines. Inputof this research are machine number, each machine dimension (length and width), sequenceof machines in each part, production volume in each part, and batch size in each part. Outputof this research is machines layout with minimum total flow cost. This research solved thecase with 15 machines and 25 parts. The result on this case is sequence of machines: 1, 12,7, 2, 4, 15, 6, 8, 11, 3, 9, 10, 14, 13 and 6 with total flow cost 6100.5.Keywords: simulated annealing, machine layout

Abstract

Pendekatan atau pemodelan matematis dan penyelesaian numeris dalam bidangteknik kimia terus berkembang penggunaannya. Hal ini didukung denganperkembangan komputer yang semakin canggih, sehingga dapat membantu untukmenyelesaikan masalah-masalah dalam bidang teknik kimia, baik dalam perancanganmaupun penelitian. Namun hal yang paling penting dalam pemodelan matematis iniadalah pemahaman mengenai konsep-konsep fundamental. Sehingga model yangdisusun dan yang akan diperoleh mendekati dengan peristiwa fisis yang terjadi.Makalah ini menguraikan tentang aplikasi pemodelan matematis dan penyelesaiannumeris perancangan reaktor yang sering dijumpai oleh mahasiswa dalammengerjakan tugas akhir pra rancangan pabrik kimia.Kata kunci: pemodelan, penyelesaian numeris, komputer

Abstract

Integrated Circuit Card or commonly named as smartcard is a properiatery devicewhich is based on ISO/IEC 7816 standard. In order to expand smartcard capabilities andinteroperabilites, PC/SC Workgroup defines a specification Open Source Software adalah software-software yang memberikan kebebasan kepadapara penggunanya tanpa harus membayar lisensi. Hampir sebagian besar badan usaha telahmemanfaatkan komputer sebagai salah satu sarana penunjang operasi usaha. Tingkatpenggunaan komputer pada badan usaha bervariasi, dari komputer sebagai mesin ketikcanggih, hingga menangani misi kritis, dimana tanpa adanya komputer maka operasi usahatidak dapat dilakukan. Sebagian besar pemakai komputer telah terbiasa dengan sistemoperasi Windows1 dan aplikasi yang berjalan diatasnya. Pada umumnya pembelianhardware komputer di Indonesia telah lengkap dengan software-software yang dipasangsecara cuma-cuma dari pemasok komputer. Pemerintah telah mengeluarkan UU no 19/2002yang mengatur tentang Hak Cipta, didalamnya termasuk diatur tentang penggunaansoftware.Kata kunci: Open Source Software, badan usaha, mesin ketik canggih, sistem operasi,kebebasan, lisensi

Abstract

The Travelling Salesman Problem, TSP, is a well known and popular problem that hasbecome a standard for testing computational algorithms. The basic problem is that of asalesman working out the minimum distance tour of a number of cities, given their locations.Every city must be visited, but only once and the optimal solution has the lowest totaldistance.The aim of this research is to solve the problem with Genetic algorithm and itsmethods. The result of the research is software whose input is a cartesius coordinate andoutput is a graph that present the minimum route.Keywords: genetic algorithm, chromosom, generation, fitness, crossover, mutation.

Abstract

Equation spread thermal was an issued which on the equation of differentially partialparabolic. For finished that equation, one method used for were different method to whichimplicit scheme. Degradation of implicit scheme in equation spread thermal produced linierequation system form with matrix was tridiagonal matrix. Linier equation system numericallyprocessed was Gauss-Jordan method. If Step Measurement ( t and x ) on equation spreadthermal was very small, whereas observing interval and time was bigger. It will made bigmeasure of linier equation system. Finally, completion execution time with Gauss-Jordanmethod was longer. To reduce completion execution time linier equation system with thoseGauss-Jordan methods, it necessary to putted another method, which is Thomas method. Theefficient step was to decrease linier equation system measure with Thomas method and a newlinier equation system finished with Gauss-Jordan method. Results of the research showedthat execution time between combined method of Thomas method and Gauss-Jordan methodin accordance Gauss-Jordan had significantly different. The bigger different linier equationsystem the bigger time they operated. For example, to system matrix 2525 x 2525 the different03: 05: 760 compared to 33: 55: 490. In this research we also discussed algorithm complexityand study results showed that 2525 x 2525 mix of Thomas method and Gauss-Jordan methodis 2.031.105.803 loop and with Gauss-Jordan loop 16.164.813.274.Kata kunci: persamaan, perambatan, panas, implisit, matriks, tridiagonal, metode Thomas,efisien.

Abstract

Conceptually, Supply Chain Management (SCM) includes all value-adding activitiesfrom the extraction of raw materials through the transformation process and through deliveryto the end user.Supply Chain Management is one of the principal areas which focusing to increasecompetitive advantage and shareholder value and reduce cost production and distribution.The SCM for agriculture product distribution in Indonesia is a chain of process thatfacilitates business activity between trading partners, from the purchase of raw goods andsupporting products for farming to the delivered process of the agriculture product to themarket. The production and distribution of agriculture products in Indonesia largely possessa number of weaknesses and inefficiencies such as unplanned and poorly-managedproduction, as well as lengthy distribution chain and unstable price.
