Abstract

Tulisan ini berusaha mengkaji kemungkinan pemanfaatan teknologi ‘wireless’ connection dalammengembangkan sebuah media pendukung komunikasi berbasis internet yang mungkin untuk dilakukan didaerah terpencil sebagai upaya meningkatkan kapasitas belajar masyarakat daerah terpencil yang minimfasilitas infrastruktur untuk berkoneksi internet. Solusi tersebut diimplementasikan dalam bentuk sebuah ‘MobileInternet Center’ yang dapat memberikan pembelajaran tentang internet dan aplikasinya di daerah-daerahterpencil yang dikunjungi secara periodik (ide ini didapat dari studi empiris penulis terhadap keberadaanperpustakaan keliling yang sangat memberikan kontribusi bagi akselerasi minat belajar masyarakat daerahterpencil). Dengan cara demikian diharapkan akselerasi pembelajaran masyarakat terhadap aplikasi internetdapat terpenuhi sehingga peningkatan kualitas sumberdaya manusia Indonesia dapat meningkat. Terlebih lagidangan suatu keyakinan bahwa internet merupakan jendela dunia, maka ini merupakan suatu upaya dalammempersiapkan manusia Indonesia dalam menghadapi era digitalisasi yang mengglobal.Kata Kunci: mobile internet center, wireless connection, aplikasi internet, pembelajaran internet

Abstract

Pengembangan media belajar berbasis internet sudah menjadi trend bahkan mengarah kepadakeharusan, namun demikian berkaitan dengan mahalnya biaya pengembangan media belajar berbasis internet,dan juga ketidak beradaan fasilitas yang memadai yang menyebabkan masih cenderung mahalnya biaya aksesinternet menyebabkan semakin beratnya penerapan media belajar berbasis internet dalam dunia pendidikan.Tulisan ini berusaha memberikan sebuah solusi bagaimana kita memanfaatkan fasilitas gratis yang banyakdisediakan oleh dunia maya semisal hosting gratis, domain name gratis, buku tamu gratis, email gratis, mailinglist gratis, fasilitas messenger atau chatting gratis, weblog gratis, photo album gratis, tag-board gratis, dan lainsebagainya untuk dimanfaatkan dalam pengembangan media belajar elektronik yang murah dan efektif untuk dimanfaatkan. Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu untuk menjawab kebutuhan para pelaku UMKM di era normal baru Covid-19, yaitu digitalisasi pengelolaan keuangan dan komunikasi bisnis usahanya. Sasaran kegiatan workshop yaitu pelaku UMKM di wilayah kampus STIE Indonesia di Rawamangun, meliputi mahasiswa STIE Indonesia dan masyarakat umum yang memiliki usaha. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah workshop yang diselenggarakan secara online dengan fasilitas Google Meet. Digitalisasi pengelolaan keuangan menggunakan Aplikasi Buku Kas dan Google My Business untuk komunikasi bisnisnya. Sosialisasi memberikan kesadaran kepada pelaku UKM akan pentingnya digitalisasi dalam pengelolaan keuangan dan komunikasi bisnis di era normal baru Covid-19, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kinerja usaha UMKM.

Abstract

SMEs' main problem in Indonesia is maintaining going concerned or business continuity. This research is motivated by the East Java SME business phenomenon, TSR. This study aims to demonstrate TSR's ability to interpret going concerns as implemented through financial management and marketing. The research method uses an interpretation paradigm as an umbrella for research with a phenomenological approach. Researchers collected data in the field for two months using an interview, observation, and documentation approach. The data analysis phase uses an intentional analysis, epoche, dan eidetic reduction. The results showed that TSR owners value perseverance and piety in maintaining business continuity. Business continuity at TSR is achieved through financial and marketing management. Financial management at TSR reflects accountability, efficiency, and compliance with the law. TSR conducts market segmentation, builds customer loyalty, and creates the brand image in its marketing activities.

Abstract

This activity aims to answer the needs of MSMEs in the normal era of Covid-19, namely the digitalization of business marketing development. The target of this activity is MSME players in the East Jakarta area, including the community from several sub-districts that are members of the Jakpreneur UMKM East Jakarta Region, namely Jatinegara District, Matraman District, Cakung District, Pulo Gadung District, Duren Sawit District, Pondok Kopi District with various business fields ranging from culinary, fashion, services and other creative industries. The method for carrying out this activity was an offline workshop with 109 participants at the East Jakarta Mayor's Office Block D Building. Assistance in digital marketing using Google My Business to expand the reach and attractiveness of business information for East Jakarta JackPreneur MSMEs. To evaluate this activity, pre-tests and post-tests were carried out, and it was found that the results of this socialization provided increased awareness to MSME actors (up 42% from 12% to 54%) of the importance of digitalization in informing businesses in the digital era, to improve MSME business performance.

The issue of sustainability cannot be separated from various environmental issues, as well as social problems. The emergence of sustainability issues at this time raises awareness of sustainable handling efforts and gives birth to a concept called a sustainable economy which is responsible not only for social issues but also for environmental issues. This issue is expected to achieve the sustainable development goals proclaimed by the Government. Therefore, it is important for SMEs to participate in realizing sustainable development goals. The purpose of this community service is to improve the quality of SMEs assisted by the Bekasi City Government in carrying out operational activities so that they can take place in a sustainable manner. The Sustainability Report is further expected to be able to answer the needs of SMEs assisted by the Bekasi City Government for the need to communicate business with internal and external parties to maintain a sustainable environment. The method in this PKM activity is the Science and Technology Simulation method using the CERAH Application, namely an application for making sustainability reports. This activity has an impact on SMEs' understanding of the impact of change and sustainable development goals. This activity provides knowledge about the benefits of sustainability reports and increases skills in preparing sustainability reports.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the behavior of consumers of BB milk products using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This research uses a qualitative method with analysis using the AHP method to help determine consumer choices in choosing the BB milk products they consume by considering price, promotion, packaging, location, and product benefits. Data and information were collected through in-depth interviews with 21 informants who were consumers who frequently consumed BB milk products, then the data and information were converted into questionnaire answers and processed using the AHP method. The research results show that consumers mostly consider product benefits and strong promotions as the basis for decisions before purchasing BB milk products. The most frequently purchased product variant is BB Original.

Abstract

Community Service is a core element of the Tridharma of Higher Education and a key responsibility of lecturers. This PKM (Community Service Program) focuses on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kahuku Village, Likupang Timur District, North Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province. The goal is to optimize digital marketing to expand the market reach of MSMEs by using and managing information on the Google My Business platform. The PKM activities are conducted in a hybrid format, combining online sessions via Zoom and offline sessions in Kahuku Village on October 6, 2023, from 08:00 to 12:00 WIB. The implementation team includes lecturers from STIE Indonesia Jakarta, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Business at Sam Ratulangi University, Nusa Utara Tahuna State Polytechnic, New Jerusalem Theological College Manado, and Pioneer Manado STIE. The primary participants are MSME operators in Kahuku Village. After participating in the program, participants are expected to enhance their business presence by showcasing their products on Google My Business. This initiative aims to help MSMEs in Kahuku Village attract tourists through effective digital marketing strategies, increase product visibility, and positively impact local economic development.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence work discipline and providing incentives have on employee performance at PT. TOA Galva Industries Department Speaker 1. The population in this study was speaker section 1 at PT. TOA Galva Industries Department Speaker 1. totaling 83 people. The research methods used in this research are regression, correlation, determination, t-test, r-test, and F-test. The research results show that both career development and compensation have a significant influence on employee performance. Effective career development can improve employee skills and motivation, while fair and competitive compensation can increase employee satisfaction and loyalty. The combination of these two factors contributes positively to increasing employee performance. This research provides practical implications for organizational management in designing effective career development strategies and compensation policies to improve employee performance and achieve organizational goals. Ite managerial implication of these findings is that company management needs to pay attention to and develop effective career development programs and provide a fair and competitive compensation system. In this way, companies can improve overall employee performance, which will ultimately contribute to achieving organizational goals
