Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the physical environment, perceived value, and image of hotel on consumer behavioral intentions. Population of this research is all the people who've been stay at 3 and 4 star hotels in Palembang. Based on the number of existing populations obtained amount of sample is 183 respondents. The sampling method used in this study is non probability sampling technique with a type of accidental sampling. Based on  ANOVA test results F count is 82.420 and F table is 3.189 with significance 0.000 <0.05, so the regression model can be used to predict the influence of the physical environment, perceived value and image of hotel on consumer behavioral intentions to choosing hotel. Statistical analysis showed that physical environmental factors have not significant effect on consumer behavioral intentions to choosing hotel. Perceived value have significant effect on consumer behavioral intentions to choosing hotel. Image of hotel have significant effect on consumer behavioral intentions to choosing hotel. Therefore, 3 and 4 star hotels in Palembang need to pay attention to develop and maintain better physical environments so that positive perceptions of image and value can be developed to create customers’ positive behavioral intentions

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi pada bank-bank umum di Indonesia dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 15 bank umum. Analisis efisiensi menggunakan Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) berbasis Linear Programming (LP).Berdasarkan  lima peringkat bank paling efisien, menunjukkan urutan bank paling efisien adalah Bank Central Asia (bank devisa), Citibank (bank asing), Bank Chinatrust Indonesia (bank usaha patungan), Bank Negara Indonesia (bank publik), dan UFJ (bank asing) selama periode 2004-2008.Kata Kunci: Efficiency, Commercial Banks, Data Envelopment Analysis

Abstract

Internasionalisasi Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) telah menjadi perhatian para peneliti. Network atau jejaring adalah salah satu strategi yang memungkinan perusahaan untuk merambah ke pasar internasional. Network memberikan pandangan yang berbeda mengenai upaya perusahaan memasuki pasar internasional. Dengan network, pasar merupakan jejaring hubungan antar pelaku bisnis. Internasionalisasi yang memanfaatkan network sebagai strategi, memusatkan perhatian terhadap upaya perusahaan untuk membangun, membina, memelihara dan mengubah hubungan untuk kepentingan keberadaan perusahaan di pasar internasional. Menurut konsep network, internasionalisasi dipengaruhi oleh hubungan yang terbina diantara network daripada keunggulan perusahaan. Anggota network mempengaruhi keputusan dan kegiatan perusahaan di dalam network. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses networking usaha kecil untuk menggarap pasar internasional dan dampak negatif network  itu sendiri dalam bisnis internasional. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, maka akan digunakan pendekatan penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif. Keywords: internationalisation, network, negative impact of networking

Abstract

The State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang is trying to apply information technology in service quality to anticipate globalization that require inovation technology and information technology’s skills to doing bussiness by computer and internet where technology known as the key to reach competitive advantages. This research aimed to reveal how the direct effect of computer service quality and internet service quality on customers’s satisfaction, how the direct effect of customers’s satisfaction on customers’s loyalty, and how the indirect effect of computer service quality and internet service quality on customers’s loyalty by way of customers’s satisfaction in The State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang.This  study used causal method. The respondents are 87 students of The State Polytechnic of Sriwijaya Palembang. The data collection techniques used are questionnaire and interviews. And then analyzed by using multiple linier regression with statistical product for special solution (SPSS) for windows version 15,0. This research result are: simultaneous, the computer service quality and internet service quality have direct effect on customer’s satisfaction by 48,8 percent. Partiality, computer service quality has direct effect on customer’s satisfaction by 30,7 percent and internet service quality has direct effect on customer’s satisfaction by 47,5 percent. Customers’s satisfaction has direct effect on customers’s loyalty by 34,percent. The computer service quality has indirect effect on customers’s loyalty for customers’s satisfaction by 41,3 percent and internet service quality has indirect effect on customers’s loyalty for customers’s satisfaction by 63,9 percent.Key words: computer service quality, internet service quality, customers satisfaction and customer loyalty.

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) reveal how much the effect of value, image, satisfaction, customer services, and warranty on customer loyalty of ABC soya in Palembang, and 2) know dominant variables affecting the customer loyalty of ABC soya in Palembang. The method used in this study was causal method. The number of the samples are 120 respondents. The data collection techniques used are quesionaires, and interviews. And then, analyzed using multiple linier regression with statistical product for special solution (SPSS) for windows version 13,0.This research results indicated that factor of value, image, satisfaction, customer services, and warranty has positive effect on customer loyalty of ABC soya in Palembang that is 34.3%, the rest are caused by the others factor , and partially the factor of satisfaction had a dominant effects on costumer loyalty of ABC soya in Palembang.Key words: customer loyalty, value, image, satisfaction, customer services, warranty

Abstract

The phenomenon of this research is about the paradigm of change that some enterprises employed both the permanent and contractual employees to improve an efficiency of organization goals. The objective of this research are to describe compensation, job characteristic, leadership, job satisfaction and job performance; to know and examine the influence of compensation, job characteristic, and leadership on job satisfaction and job performance for permanent and contractual employees of medium and large enterprises in Palembang City.The kind of this research is survey verification on 482 respondents of 100 medium and large enterprises in Palembang City. Methods of sampling used in this research were stratified random sampling and simple random sampling. Data are analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis by applying the method of Structural Equation Model (SEM) and using Linear Structural Relationship (LISREL) program.Some results could be identified that the description of compensation, job characteristic, leadership, job satisfaction and job performance were important to permanent and also contractual employees which required between the mild and high categories. The results of quantitative analysis by testing of hypothesis shown that the influenced of compensation, job characteristic, and leadership on job satisfaction and job performance were positive and significant. The influenced of job satisfaction on job performance was significant. The influenced of compensation, job characteristic, leadership, and job satisfaction on job performance were statistically positive and significant of permanent and also contractual employees of medium and large enterprises in Palembang City.Keywords: Compensation, job characteristic, leadership, job satisfaction, job performance, permanent and contractual employees.

Abstract

The Purpose of this research is to determine the effect of price against the decisions of consumers in purchasing BlackBerry Curve at Senior High School students at  Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang.  The writer would like to know how prices affect students’ decisions to buy the BlackBerry Curve.  Data used is the purchase decision, which is the dependent variable (Y) and the influence of price is the independent variable (X).  Quantitative method was used in this research, in taking the samples, the writer used the stratified random sampling technique.  95 samples were asked to complete the questionnaire.  The obtained data were processed by using sloven's formula as quoted by Husein (2001) then those data were analyzed by using the theoretical framework developed by private (2011).  The writer found that there was price effect against students' decisions to buy the BlackBerry Curve.  The result showed that the coefficient regression value was 0,611 it meant that there was a positive correlation between price affect against students' decisions to buy the BlackBerry Curve. Based on the value above, the writer can conclude that any value addition carried a price variable, then an increase in students purchasing decision to buy a BlackBerry Curve.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine how hospital performance is measured by Value for money is the efficiency, effectiveness and economy. Research conducted at Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital Palembang. The data used in analyzing the problem is secondary data in the form of budget and actual revenue and expenditure hospitals, and medical record documents. While the analytical technique used is quantitative analysis technique, a method of analyzing a series of information is data in the form of numbers or information obtained from the results reported in comparison with the theory that supports the analysis of quantitative data with measurements of efficiency, effectiveness, and economical. After research conducted a few indicators that do not meet the standard, showing the performance of Siti Khadijah Islamic hospital in Palembang is not optimal. For that the hospital would expect to make best efforts to evacuate and follow up reports of health services to the community level to maximum, and more careful in planning and realizing the needs, facilities and infrastructure to be guided by regulations.Keywords : Performance measurement, value for money, efficiency, effectiveness and economy.

Abstract

Sebagai lembaga swadaya masyarakat yang memfokuskan diri pada pengumpulan dana zakat, infaq, shodaqoh dan waqaf, DSIM bisa dikatakan sebagai lembaga pertama di sumatera selatan. Pada awal 2007, terjadi beberapa kontraksi dalam organisasi ini yang mengakibatkan stagnasi dalam kinerjanya. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya intervensi strategis yang sistemik guna menanggulangi masalah tersebut. Dengan menggunakan wawancara yang mendalam dengan pengurus dan observasi kerja mereka, penulis menemukan beberapa masalah pokok yang mengakibatkan stagnasi tersebut. Berdasarkan data dan informasi yang didapat maka dalam tulisan ini peneliti merekomendasikan sebuah paket intervensi strategis.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to know how far the Government of Lahat Residence applies the performance based budgeting as foundation in arrange the Income and Expense Budgeting, and (2) to know how performance based budgeting can materialize good governance in Lahat Residence.Research finding has shown that during period of years 2004-2008, the performance of the Government of Lahat Residence was increasing after applying performance based budgeting. Tax acceptance, as one of the source of residence income, was increasing years after years. Good governance which measure by the Increasing of Residence Income, the Effort Development, the Decrease of Unemployment Number, and Development of Gross Regional Domestic Product are was giving the positive result. The government of Lahat Residence have to keep action of perfecting in apply performance based budgeting so that they can get more result.Key Words : Performance Based Budgeting, Income and Expense Budgeting, and Good Governance.
