Abstract

This study attempts to examine how consumer attitudes toward automatic motorcycle. In conducting the study, researchers used a descriptive conclusive research in a single cross-sectional shape. Conclusive research is used to test specific hypotheses and test the connection. The sample used is the general public who were in the city of Palembang as many as 100 respondents using convenience sampling method. The analysis used in this study is the analysis of the theory of Fishbein-Ajzen attitude. In this analysis will be seen how the trend of consumer attitudes are positive or negative affect marketing mix variables automatic motorcycle. Results of the study showed consumer attitudes toward automatic motor generally neutral (7 variables) and positive in 3 variables, namely: Motor matic easy to use (3453), Motor matic comfortable ride (3384) and Motor matic cool design (3076)

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the influence of  independent variables WCTO, CTO, ITO and CR to dependent variable profitability (ROA), either partially or simultaneously.  The object of this research are Property and  Real Estate companies listed in Indonesian stock exchange period 2008-2012. Samples for this research consists of 9 companies, purposive sampling method used in this research. The analysis technique used multiple linear regression. The result shows that working capital turnover do not have influence to profitabilty (ROA), cash turnover give positive and significant influence to profitablity (ROA), inventory turnover give positive and significant influence to profitability (ROA), and current ratio do not have influance to Profitability (ROA). Simultaneously, working capital turnover, cash turnover, inventory turnover and current ratio have a influence to profitability (ROA) with percentage of contribution 45,1%. It could be concluded 45,1% independent variables have influence to dependent variable.

Abstract

This study attempts to examine how the role of the family in shaping the brand association and perceived quality and its effect on brand loyalty. In conducting the study, researchers used a descriptive conclusive research in a single cross-sectional shape. Conclusive research is used to test specific hypotheses and test the connection. The samples used were public users everyday products that are as many as 100 people in the city of Palembang respondents using convenience sampling method. The analysis used in this study is to see the influence of regression analysis between variables. Results of the study show the family plays a role in shaping the brand association and perceived quality, and brand associations and perceived quality effect on brand loyalty. While the dominant variable influencing brand loyalty is the association.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of packaging and pricing on purchase decision of isotonic drinks. Variable of packaging was limited to structural elements, as these elements were getting less attention by previous research. Data were obtained from 261 employees and students in South Jakarta, using structured questionnaires. The questionnaires was developed based on research instruments from former research. The study used purposive sampling technique. Results from regression analysis showed that packaging and the price were significantly related to the purchase decision. The price effect was greater than the product packaging. The results also showed that there were significant differences in the variance of packaging, pricing, and purchase decisions based on groups of age, education level, the brand chosen, the intensity of purchase, and the place of purchase.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the soybean of raw material inventory planning that economical in Primkopti Palembang. After did the experiment, the writer found out a problem, such as Primkopti did not know of total the economist purchase that should they do. The problem is used from the first interviews. The writer use interviews to get the primary data and documentation to get the secondary data. Therefore, the writer purposed to give advice for company that there was a method which could use to determine the total of economist purchase, was economic order quantity (EOQ) method, that would count by the formula that wrote by Yamit (2011). And also to know the total inventory cost that counted by the formula wrote by Buffa and Rakesh (1996). The writer get the results of this research is that Primkopti doesn’t have surplus about soybean of raw materials inventory in 2009, 2010, and 2012. But in 2011, Primkopti has surplus the raw materials.

Abstract

Research in exporting has been devoted attention to examine problems related to exporting. However, few studies have been carried out to explore the export barriers of SMEs in Indonesia. This study examines the relationship between export barrier, product strategy and export performance. In this research, product strategy consists of product adaptation strategy, product quality strategy, and product innovation strategy. Results indicate that only product barriers positively influence product quality strategy. Law or regulation barriers unexpectedly influence product adaptation strategy negatively. This study also found the negative impact of customer barrier on product quality. None of other export barriers significantly influence product strategy. Meanwhile, unexpectedly none of those three-product strategies influence export performances.Keywords: export barriers, product adaptation, product quality, product innovation, export performance, small- and medium-enterprise, handicraft industry

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine, obtain empirical evidence and analyze the effect of audit experience, workload, and task-specific knowledge on fraud detection of financial statements. The data used is questionnaires to Auditor (senior and junior auditors) in 14 (fourteen) Public Accounting Firm (KAP) in Southern Sumatra, which is located at: Palembang city, Jambi, Bengkulu, Lampung and Bangka Belitung Province. Independent variable is audit experience, workload, task specific knowledge, while the dependent variable is fraud detection of financial statements. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, while the hypotheses test performed simultaneously and partially after the regression model free of classical assumption violations.The results showed that audit experience, workload and task specific knowledge both partially and simultaneously have a positive influence on fraud detection on financial statements. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.893 that means the independent variable auditor experience, workload and task specific knowledge affecting on fraud detecting on financial statements of 89.3% and the remaining of 10.7% is influenced by other variables that is not included in this research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the character of the investor community Palembang. The type of data in this study is qualitative data. This means that the data is obtained in the form of views and opinions of the source namely investors who trade in securities office. This study uses the tools in the form of a list of questions (questionnaire). There are four types of characters Palembang investor community that is high risk taker, medium risk taker, low risk taker, and full risk averser. Based on the results of research, investor community character of Palembang is a medium risk taker as many as 77%, while the remaining 13% are low risk takers, and 10% is a high risk taker.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe and analyze the structure assets on the profitability, to measure the effects of liquidity ratio as a mediationg influence structure assets on profitability. The study was conducted in the telecommunications sector in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2008 to 2012. The samples in this study were taken using purposive. The final samples in this study were 30 observations. This hypothesis was tested using path analysis. The results showed that the structure assets had no effect on the profitability and liquidity ratio was able to complete mediation influence structure assets on profitability.

Abstract

This study is aimed at determining the effect of liquidity ratio (LDR), asset quality ratio (NPL) and the net interest margin (NIM) to growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) loans from local banks (BPD). The study uses purposive sampling method in determining the sample. Out of 26 local banks in Indonesia, six are selected as samples for this study. Multiple regression used to analize the data shows that LDR and NIM have a positive effect on the growth of SME loans from local bank while NPL has a negative effect on the growth. Simultaneous analysis shows combined effect of LDR, NPL and NIM on the growth of SME loans is significant. The coefficient of determination (R2) of relationship between the three variables on the growth of SME loans from BPD is 0,298. It means that the LDR, NPL and NIM have about 30% influences on the growth of SME loans.
