Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. There is retiring finance called “Dapensri”. Dapensri is aimed to warrating for the life of retiring employees in their old days after working for the whole of life time at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang based on the regulations set up in advance. It also aimed to collecting the retiring finance given by both employer and employees, which is managed in keeping it under the regulation of Financial Minister Affair No. 199/PMK.010/2008. There are a lot of investment choices in Indonesia, but this one that can be used as the investment of retiring finance in accordance with the regulations of Financial Minister affair No. 199-2008, including confindential letters of the state, fixed deposit at the banks, on call deposit, stockholder, obligation which stated on Indonesian stock exchange. As the matter of facts, this research discussed kinds of investments which are used optimally which have low risk that is calculated through return formula and deviation standard. The purpose of the research was to figure out the biggest return and the lowest risk at PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang.

Abstract

This research is aimed to investigate the influence of financial leverage which proxied by the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and the Long Term Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER) on Profitability which proxied by the Return on Assets (ROA) in the Automotive and Components sub sector company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2010-2013. The population in this research is 12 companies of Automotive and Components sub sector. Sensus technique is employed and found 12 companies are selected for the research sample. The result shows that partially, Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Long Term Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER) had negative but not significant influence on Return on Assets (ROA). Simultaneously, Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Long Term Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER) did not have significant influence on Return on Assets (ROA). The coefficient of determination is11,4%, it means that financial leverage variables are be able to explain profitability variable as much as 11,4%, and the rest of 88,6% explained by other variables. The implications of this research is the manager may consider the proportion of debt and for investors is useful as consideration in making investment. Due to limited of this research, it is recommended to add other sectors, extend the period of research and use more of other independent variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of Corporate Culture and Transformational Leadership partially or jointly to the performance of the Pertamina RU III employee after 5 years Transformation in Pertamina. This study used a descriptive survey method approach. Survey method is a research method in which information is collected through the use of questionnaires. The number of sample were 8 x total of research indicator (14 indicators). The numbers of total sample were 112 respondents, were about 16,5 % of 680 population of Pertamina RU III Plaju. Regarding to the title of this research, the beginning phase was 2008 to 2013, and the population in this study were the employee of Pertamina RU III who have worked at least 5 years. Essential things that must be considered in writing the questionnaire, the determination of the list of questions, as well as the format of the questionnaire design, as well as using infrencial analysis with multiple linear regression analysis model (multiple regression analysis). The results showed that Corporate Culture variable (X1) which partially have a significant influence to the employee performance (Y), and the same thing for Transformational Leadership variable (X2), partially has a significant effect to the employee performance (Y). This is indicated by the significance p-value is smaller than alpha value of 0.05. Furthermore, from the results of the F test (Simultaneous Test), Corporate Culture (X1) and Transformational Leadership (X2) have a significant influence to performance of Pertamina RU III Plaju employee (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this final report is to know the entrepreneurship’s reasons has an influence to the implementation business side decision at the business owners in around Kambang Iwak’s area and jalan Balap Sepeda POM-X Palembang and to know variables of entrepreneurship’s reasons dominant influence the implementation side business decision.The study was conducted on 60 respondents from the owners of the business side in around Kambang Iwak and jalan Balap Sepeda POM-X Palembang. In this research, the writer used SPSS version 20.0 for analyze data.The resultsofthe studyfound the F test with F count are 25,539 greater than F table are 2,54. It means that variables of entrepreneurship’s reasons influence the implementation side business decision. And the coefficient determination are 0,809 percent. It means that variables of entrepreneurship’s reasons influence the implementation side business decision are 62,5 percent and 37,5 percent are influenced by other reasons beside entrepreneurship’s reasons.So, the writer gave suggestion that increase the reasons of businesses by instilling entrepreneurship’s spirit and knowledge of entrepreneurship from early age. Then, improve and maintain a reason for self-fulfillment and other reasons. then reason for social and services should be improved so that the entrepreneur easier to conduct business activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Islamic Governance Score, Leverage and Profitability to Islamic Social Reporting Index banks In Indonesia. The population used in this study consists of 11 Islamic period 2010 – 2013. Purposive sampling was implemented in this research. Off 11 banks, 8 banks are carried out as a sample. Multiple regression analysis was used to know the impact of Islamic Governance Score, Leverage and Profitability to Islamic Social Reporting Index banks In Indonesia. The result showed that partially Islamic Governance Score, Leverage have no impact to Islamic Social Reporting Index, while profitability has positif and significant effect to Islamic Social Reporting Index. Simultaneously, Islamic Governance Score, Leverage and Profitability have impact to Islamic Social Reporting Index. For further research, it is expeted to add other variables effecting Islamic Social Reporting Index.

Abstract

This study purpose of this study isto analize the effect of customer perceived value, service quality, and relationship quality on customer satisfaction and the implication on customer loyalty.Customers of PT Bank Syariah Mandiri of Ciputat Branch, Tangerang, were taken as a case study. This research was descriptive-quantitative, in nature. Both primary and secondary data were employed. Secondary data were gathered from various sources such as journals, books and other related publications. Primary data were gathered using survey questionnaire which were distributed to the target respondents. Using purposive sampling technique, a total of 100respondens were gained. Path analysis was employed in this study. The results showed that both individually and simultaneously customer value, service quality and relationship quality had a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Relationship quality was found dominant. Likewise, it was found that both individually and simultaneously customer value, service quality, relationship quality and customer satisfaction had significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction was found dominant. It was suggested that the firm should constantly improve customer value, service quality, and relationship quality to keep customer satisfied and loyal. Future research is possible to include other variables.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio on Loan to Deposit Ratio, the role of Return on Assets as a mediating effect Capital Adequacy Ratio on Loan to Deposit Ratio, the effect of Non Performing Loanon Loan to Deposit Ratio, the role of Return on Assets as a mediating effect Non Performing Loanon Loan to Deposit Ratio. This study was called as a population study because the study sample was Regional Development Bank all over Indonesia as many as 26 banks. The observations period was 2009-2013. Data analysis was path analysis. The research findings were Capital Adequacy Ratio have significant negative effect on Loan to Deposit Ratio, Return on Assets as a partial mediating had an effect on relationship between Capital Adequacy Ratio and Loan to Deposit Ratio, Non Performing Loans did not have significant effect on Loan to Deposit Ratio, Return on Assets did not havemediating effect on relationship between Non Performing Loan and Loan to Deposit Ratio, Return on Assets have positive significant effect on Loan to Deposit Ratio.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect Froud detecting fraud triangle in the financial statements. Variables of Fraud Triangle is stability pressuure proxy with ACHANGE, external pressure proxy with FREEC, personal financial need proxy with OSHIP, financial target proxy with the ROA financial , nature of industry proxy with INVENTORY, ineffective monitoring proxy with BDOUT, organizational structure proxy with CEO, and razionaliztion proxy with AUDREPORT. Cheating or Froud diprosikan with earnings management. The sample used in this study as many as 38 companies and data used from 2011 up to 2013. The data anaisis method is linear regression. These results indicate that ACHANGE, ROA and FREEC significantly affect the financial statements fraud or earning management. OSHIP, Inventory, BDOUT, CEO and AUDREPORT not significantly affect the financial statement fraud or earning management.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the financial statements on line. Contribution of this study are: first, can provide relevant information for decision makers and credit investments. Second, as a business communications medium between management and external users related changes in financial position and cash flows of the company. Third, give an idea about their ability to generate profits and cash flows of the company. Fourth, give a picture of the company from one period to the next related growth or decline of the company. In conclusion are first, the analyze the financial statements on line needs its own way. By analyzing the financial statements can be found on line and reliable investment position and become the benchmark for preparing plans for further investment. Second, the financial statements on line only gives an overview of the development of investment, but of the financial statements on line can be known whether the stock market is quite large compared promising investment income in the form of another.

Abstract

This study aimed to measuring the third generation mobile services (3G) receive using the Technology Acceptance Model. This study uses data collected through a survey of user mobile services provider of Telkomsel, Indosat and XL in Palembang. Sampling method in this study using Purposive Sampling with a sample of 180 respondents. Data analysis using SPSS for Windows version 20.00 with Linear Regression Analysis method. The independent variables were perceived usefulness, ease of use, perceived enjoyment, attitude of use and the dependent variable is the behavioral intention. The results showed that perceived usefulness, ease of use, perceived enjoyment, attitude of use simultaneously have a significant effect on behavioral intention. Perceived usefulness have significant effect on behavioral intention. Perceived ease of use significantly influence on behavioral intention. Perceived enjoyment have significantly effect on behavioral intention. Attitude have significant effect on behavioral intention. Consideration of the factors identified should lead to more successful adoption of 3G. The study implies that the 3G mobile telecommunication companies need to lift consumers’ intention to adopt 3G mobile services. Users’ of 3G mobile services need to be provided with more diverse and entertaining ways of communicating, which are at the same time easily accessible and convenient to use. The paper enhance understanding of user acceptance of 3G mobile communication services.
