Abstract

The study entitled “Analysis of EPS, ROA, ROE, EVA and MVA Effect to The Stock Price of Pharmaceuticals Subsector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange”,. This study was discussed the effect that was given by the Earning Per Share, Return on Assets, Return on Equity, Economic Value Added and Market Value Added variables which estimate was the indicator of the company profitability to the stock price of the pharmaceutical subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 -2014. The purpose of this study were: 1) To determine simultaneously whether EPS, ROA, ROE, EVA and MVA have significant effect to the stock prices of pharmaceutical subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010 until 2014, 2) To determine partially whether EPS, ROA, ROE, EVA, and MVA have significant effect to the stock price of pharmaceutical subsector companies listed on Indonesia stock Exchange in 2010 until 2014. The sampling was taken by using purposive sampling method that was obtained 6 companies which have the criteria. The data analysis was used multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the assumption of normality, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The conclusion of this study based on the simultaneous test (F test) and partial test (t test) with significance of 5%. Based on the analysis, we concluded that as simultaneously EPS, ROA, ROE, EVA and MVA variables have significant effect to the stock price with 65.8% coefficient of determination. It showed that 65.8% of stock price was explained by the five independent variables, and the rest was explained by other variables which was not included in this study. And based on partial test, only EPS variable has significant effect to the stock price, while ROA, ROE, EVA and MVA have no significant effect to the stock price. The suggestions for further study is to use other variables such as the company's external variables, currency exchange rates, inflation, interest rates, etc or other variables outside the company's profitability. Therefore, the result of this study showed that the profit is the main thing for companies and investors to achieve their respective goals.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate factors that could determine Generation Y’s role stress and turnover intention, which are mentoring function and organizational socialization. Besides, this research also aims to analyze the effect of Generation Y’s role stress on turnover intention with burnout as a mediator. To investigate this, 260 nurses and midwives at hospitals in Bekasi, Depok, Kemayoran, and Kelapa Gading were surveyed. Data analysis is conducted using structural equation modelling. The result of this research showed that mentoring function is not negatively significant to role stress but it affects negatively to Generation Y nurses and midwives’s turnover intention. Besides, organizational socialization was also found negatively significant to role stress, while role stress that experienced of Generation Y will negatively affects turnover intention with burnout as a mediator. Thus, role stress of Generation Y at hospitals in Jabodetabek could be reduced by organizational socialization, and their turnover intention could be minimalized with mentoring function

Abstract

Acquisition is one of the strategic activities for many organizations in order to maintain sustainable competitive advantages. Evidence shows that acquisition failed mostly because of cultural conflict, management style, and value created failures. Prior researches focused on integration process as well as combination process and still result inconsistency findings about post-acquisition performance and employee psychological safety. This research aims to explore and bridge the gap of the acquisition success from human resources side particularly in acquiring leadership style to acquired employee psychological safety (EPS). This study captures employees’ perceive about leadership trust and leadership visibility of acquiring leaders, integration process, and deal status toward their psychological safety post-acquisition as dependent variable. Deal status was known has moderating effect on leadership visibility to EPS. The results show that leadership visibility has no significant effect on EPS while leadership trust positively affects the EPS. When we examine acquisition phase which is represented by integration process and deal status only the integration process has positively significant effect on EPS. Communication quality has the highest positive effect in post-acquisition integration process. Otherwise power differential statistically proved has the highest negative effect on EPS in post-acquisition deal status. Furthermore, there is pure moderating effect resulting from deal status on leadership visibility. Overall, this study contributes to further explanation about what are important skill and behavior that need to be considered for leaders to gain target employees’ psychological safety

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in employee satisfaction when seen from the characteristics of the individual, which consists of age, gender, marital status, length of work, education, and employment status. The sampling technique used is Saturated Samples where the entire population sampled. Data was analyzed using frequency analysis, cross tabulation and chi-square. The findings in this study were mostly employees have been satisfied with the work; there is no difference in job satisfaction of employees based on age, gender, length of work, education, and employment status. Instead there is difference in employee satisfaction when seen from her marital status

Abstract

Influence of competence and discipline to satisfaction and the implications on performance.Aims to identify and analyze the level of influence directly and indirectly and which variable has more influence on employee performance on Insurance AJB Bumi Putera 1912.This research analyzes using Structural Equation Modelling.The results showed variable competency has a greater direct influence on satisfaction of 0.32 compared to only 0.14 Discipline.Competence has a direct influence most to the achievement of 0.28, compared Discipline and Satisfaction 0.11 and 0.05. Variable discipline greater indirect effect on the achievement of 0.37, of the competence of 0.19

Abstract

Pertumbuhan kendaraan bermotor berdampak terhadap pertumbuhan permintaan pada produk pelumas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor menentukan dan mempengaruhi keputusan konsumen dalam menggunakan pelumas kendaraan bermotor di Kota Palembang. Adapun manfaatnya agar hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan bagi perusahaan pelumas dan yang terkait dalam meningkatkan keputusan dan kepuasan konsumen pelumas dengan memperhatikan faktor yang dianggap penting bagi konsumen dalam menggunakan pelumas kendaraan bermotornya. Rancangan penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan riset eksploratori dan riset konklusif deskriptif dalam bentuk single cross sectional. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 200 orang yang merupakan pengguna produk pelumas. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis faktor yang digunakan untuk mengelompokkan variabel-variabel berdasarkan kesamaannya. Hasil dari penelitian adalah terbentuk 6 faktor yaitu sebagai berikut : Kualitas dan Merek, Kepribadian dan Gaya Hidup, Promosi, Harga dan Diskon, Kebutuhan dan Keinginan, dan Referensi. Faktor-faktor tersebut dapat membantu perusahaan dalam merumuskan strategi pemasarannya

Abstract

The research aimed to assess the readiness of the village Government in Ogan Ilir Regency in the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of State Number 113 year 2014 concerning the management village financial and assess the constraints and the acceleration strategy in the application. The village government readiness is indicated with four parameter; human resources, organizational commitment, infrastructure and information systems. Type of this research is descriptive qualitative research. The sample used in this study amounted to 92 peoples from village government in Ogan Ilir Regency were selected through purposive sampling method. Methods of data collecting is using primer data from interview and secondary data from library research and documentation. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis. The result of this research showed that village Government in Ogan Ilir Regency indicated by the organizational commitment is ready, while the parameters of the human resource, infrastructure and information systems is not ready. Constraints in the implementation is the human resource quality is still not enough, the lack of training, information and communication that run not integrated between the regency and village government, and then the lack of supporting infrastructure. Acceleration strategy in the implementation include the preparation of technical manual book, human resource development through technical guidance and training, preparation of clear information system between the regency and village government and the provision of infrastructure to support the management village financial

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand and analyze the effects of career management, training satisfaction, pay satisfaction to employee turnover intention in the banking sector. A total of 265 respondents who work in the Commercial Bank participated, with structural equation modeling as data processing method. As a result, it was found that direct career management has no effect on turnover intention. While training proved satisfaction can affect turnover intention through full mediating role of organizational engagement. This research also found that organizational engagement provides partial mediating role in the relationship between pay satisfaction and turnover intention. Thus, this study was able to prove the importance of the role of training satisfaction and pay satisfaction in improving organizational engagement, which in turn can reduce turnover intention of employees in the banking sector. The results of this study showed that companies that have a good career management can necessarily encourage employees to stay, the phenomenon of war for talents is one of the triggers of employees interested in moving. So the company needs to formulate good strategy of career management to nurture employee engagement, for example, with the function of coaching and mentoring.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian adalah 1) Mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap keberadaan BMT di Kota Palembang 2) Mengetahui minat masyarakat terhadap BMT 3) Mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dan minat masyarakat terhadap BMT. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Variabel yang digunakan adalah variabel persepsi nilai keutamaan, persepsi nilai etika, persepsi nilai spiritualitas, variabel minat dan variabel keberadaan BMT. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa 1) Masyarakat memandang BMT dapat membantu usaha kecil, membantu mereka terbebas dari rentenir, dan produk yang ditawarkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Namun, persepsi nilai etika dan persepsi nilai spiritual tidak memberikan pengaruh terhadap keberadaan BMT, BMT yang juga sebagai jasa keuangan syariah justru sebagian besar masyarakat tidak mengenal (kesadaran merek belum terbangun) 2)Minat masyarakat berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keberadaan BMT, mereka bersedia memberikan rekomendasi dan informasi kepada teman sejawat dan keluarga untuk bergabung menjadi bagian dari mitra BMT 3) variabel persepsi nilai keutamaan dan variabel minat secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keberadaan BMT.

Abstract

The use of internet and e-commerce in Indonesia grows continuously. The Internet has changed the consumer behaviour in meeting their needs. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of trust in online stores and perceived risk on consumer online purchase intention. This study involved 180 internet users as respondents who have visited online shopping sites in Indonesia. The results found that consumer trust in online stores have negative effect on perceived risk in buying online. Otherwise, the trust has positive effect on online purchase intention. However, this study proves there is no risk in buying interest referring them to shop online. Furthermore, this study found that trust level of female customers to online shopping sites is higher than male customers
