Jurnal Siasat Bisnis (JSB) is a peer review journal published twice a year (January and July) by Management Development Centre (MDC)-Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Indonesia. JSB) addresses the broad area of management science and its applications in industry and business. It is particularly receptive to research relevant to the practice of management within the emerging regions and its effects beyond. Abstract

This research conducted to analyze about factors influencing society decision of who live in beyond the city to migration of circular in Medan what variable of work Type, level of education, facilities of the city, the disadvantageous of villages, the ownership of land; influence the migration circular in the Medan. Population in this research is society working in formal sector in Medan, Technique of Intake of sample used is convience sampling that is by collecting data sample from a available information or source regardless of characteristic sample (Sekaran, 1992). From 200 quistioner which is spread there are 128 responder data which can be processed by using  SPSS.10.0 regration Result of this research find there are influence between: Work type, level of education, city facilities, villages disadvantages, ownership of land; influence the migration circular in Medan with degree of probability 0,005 with the level significance 0.05, this research explain 12.3% migration of circular Medan affected by researched variable and rest is affected by other variable. This research also find that only variable of work type which by partial influence the society to conduct the migration to Medan with the probability 0.002 with the level significance 0.005%.Keywords: Migration Circular, The Disadvantageous Of Villages, City Attraction

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of study was the influence of trust and organizational culture to intellectual capital and its impact to organizational performance. Data was collected from 109 (21,80%) questionnaires were sent to financial managers in bank and financial institution companies at Bali, and analysis conducted by SEM. The results shows that trust and organizational cultures have an effect negatively and positively to intellectual capital elements. Human capital has an effect positively to customer capital and of structural capital. Customer capital has an effect positively to structural capital. Structural capital has an effect positively to organizational performance.Keywords: intellectual capital, trust, organizational culture, organizational performanceAbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh trust dan budaya organisasi terhadap intellectual capital dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja organisasi. Data dikumpulkan dari 109 (21,80%) kuesioner yang dikirimkan kepada manajer keuangan bank dan lembaga keuangan di Bali, dan analisis menggunakan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa trust dan budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh negatif dan positif terhadap elemen intellectual capital. Human capital berpengaruh positif terhadap customer capital dan structural capital. Customer capital berpengaruh positif terhadap structural capital. Structural capital berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja organisasi.Kata Kunci: intellectual capital, trust, budaya organisasi, kinerja organisasi

Abstract

Proses globalisasi mengakibatkan persaingan dunia usaha menjadi semakin ketat dan tanpa batas. Kemauan untuk bersaing memperebutkan sumber daya manusia dapat menjadi sumber keunggulan kompetitif suatu perusahaan, salah satunya melalui pengintegrasian perencanaan sumber daya manusia dengan perenca¬naan strategic. Perencanaan sumber daya manusia perlu mengintegrasikan berbagai komponen dan faktor yang ada atau keseluruhan fungsi dalam organisasi/perusahaan sehingga  tidak terjebak pada masalah teknis dan hanya berorientasi jangka pendek saja. Peran strategis perencanaan sumber daya manusia dimulai dari analisa kompetensi sumber daya manusia saat ini, kemudian dibandingkan dengan kebutuhan dan kualita sumber daya manusia di masa mendatang. Abstract

An advertising is an important tool to unite producers and consumers in the communication media.  It is needed by both of producers and consumers, but in different functions. Producers need an advertising to promote their products, and consumers need it to get more information about products before making a buying decision. Because of that, producers must give the true information by presenting right method (not tricky, bombastic, lie, etc.). Producers must be carefull in the advertising to make consumer sympathetic. If consumers feel dissapointed about it, they will leave a producer and move to other producer.           Key Words : Iklan, moralitas, efektivitas, kontra produktif

Abstract

Bank has traditional activities that generate interest income, and non-traditional activities such as underwriting and trading securities, broker-agent, and investment banking, and other activities that generate non-interest income. This paper investigates traditional and non-traditional activities and the impact of revenue diversification on bank profitability. We use the data from the Indonesia banking industry 2007-2016 to measure the impact of revenue diversification, commission revenue, trading revenue, and other revenue on bank return on asset and return on equity. We find that revenue diversification increases bank profitability. However, all the non-interest income has a negative correlation on bank profitability.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to examine the effect of corporate governance on the corporate social disclosure in the South East Asia companies as well as to test the difference of the level of corporate social disclosure (CSD) between three countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thayland. Variables in the research are: the number of commissioners, board competence, the proportion of independent commissioners, audit committee size, the proportion of independent audit committees, and ownership of managerial. Global Reporting Initiative 2006 is used to measurement CSD. Sample in this study were drawn from the company's annual report on Indonesia Stock Exchange, Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, and Thayland Stock Exchange in 2009. There are a significant predictors namely the competency of the board of director, numbers of audit committee and proportion independent audit committees on corporate social disclosure. The number of commissioners, the proportion of independent commissioners, and ownership of managerial are not as determinant significant that only firms size and industry type. There are different corporate social disclosure practice in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thayland. Level of disclosure in Indonesia over an average of 40,14%, 58,52% in Malaysia, and 54,12% in Thayland. This is caused by differences in corporate governance practices in those countries.Keywords: corporate social disclosure, corporate governance, comparative study.AbstraksiPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh corporate governance terhadap pengungkapan sosial perusahaan pada perusahaan-perusahaan di Asia Tenggara serta untuk menguji perbedaan tingkat pengungkapan sosial perusahaan (CSD) antara tiga negara: Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Thailand. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah: jumlah komisaris, dewan kompetensi, proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran komite audit, proporsi komite audit independen, dan kepemilikan manajerial. Global Reporting Initiative 2006 digunakan untuk pengukuran CSD. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dari laporan tahunan perusahaan di Bursa Efek Indonesia, Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange dan Bursa Efek Thailand pada tahun 2009. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya prediktor yang signifikan yaitu kompetensi dewan direktur, jumlah komite audit dan proporsi komite audit independen terhadap pengungkapan sosial perusahaan. Jumlah komisaris, proporsi komisaris independen, dan kepemilikan manajerial tidak sebagai penentu signifikan yang ukuran hanya perusahaan dan industri jenis. Ada perbedaan pengungkapan sosial perusahaan dalam praktik di Indonesia, Malaysia dan Thailand. Tingkat pengungkapan di Indonesia lebih dari rata-rata sebesar 40,14%; 58,52% di Malaysia dan 54,12% di Thailand. Hal ini disebabkan oleh perbedaan dalam praktik tata kelola perusahaan di negara-negara tersebut.Kata kunci: pengungkapan sosial perusahaan, tata kelola perusahaan, komparatif

Abstract

Planning a strategy, implementing an information technology, and running organizational learning process have become the most important things in an organization. There are many organizations have devel¬oped a strategic approach by planning its IS/IT. Planning IS/IT is complicated and important since there many factors effecting the planning of IS/IT. They are the types of planning, the relationship between strategy, IS, and IT, the methodology of IT strategy, and the portfolio of IS/IT.The implementation of IS/IT is a complex effort because IS/IT evolves in a set of technology continuously. Individuals in the organization will adapt to the evolving IS/IT, where they learn new ways in con¬ducting their tasks. This process of learning involves the previous procedures, which are changed into a new pat¬tern to strengthen the process itself. It has become individual and group procedures. It is covering all aspects but it can be summarized in four phases. They are investment and technology identification, the adaptation and tech¬nology learning, the management control, and the technology transfer.

Abstract

Knowledge sharing is still becoming a concern for many researchers because of the various positive impacts encountered. However, many individuals are still hesitant to do so, especially in a competitive environment where 'knowledge is power'. Knowledge sharing is often conducted only for the purpose of self-imaging and mutual benefits. Various studies that try to explore the antecedent variable of knowledge sharing behavior rarely use an Islamic motivational perspective. Hence, this article offers a new concept of Islamic excellence achievement spirit which is expected to be a cornerstone to improve knowledge sharing behavior. This new concept is the result of synthesis from the need for achievement theory, social capital theory, and Islamic values. The 291 sharia insurance employees in Indonesia were used as respondents of this study. Respondents obtained by using snowball sampling combined with purposive sampling. Regression analysis is used to test the empirical research model. The results show that Islamic excellence achievement spirit is proven to be able to increase knowledge sharing behavior that has an impact on increasing adaptive selling capability.

Abstract

Perusahaan-perusahaan di Indonesia sedang menghadapi tantangan bisnis yang lebih dan tingginya intensitas kompetitif di antara pelaku bisnis. Untuk mengatasi kompetisi tersebut, perusahaan dipandang perlu untuk menyiapkan sumberdaya yang dimiliki dengan baik. Tingginya permintaan dan sengitnya kompetisi di seluruh industri telah membuat perusahaan kesulitan untuk menemukan kandidat karyawan yang tepat/baik. Kelangkaan sumberdaya ini mengharuskan perusahaan untuk menjaga dan memelihara karyawan yang ada dan telah berkontribusi untuk perusahaan. Di sisi lain, perusahaan menginginkan karyawan mereka berkomitmen kuat terhadap pekerjaan dan organisasi/perusahaan. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kepuasan kerja dan konflik kerja-keluarga yang dialami karyawan dan menganalisa apakah kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh pada komitmen organisasi. Kami mendistribusikan kuesioner dengan metode daring selama dua minggu dan memperoleh 79 responden dari beberapa industri. Analisis deskriptif dan regresi berganda digunakan untuk menganalisa temuan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa level konflik kerja-keluarga yang dialami karyawan adalah rata-rata, level kepuasan kerjanya tinggi, dan komitmen organisasi pada level rendah. Kami juga menemukan hubungan antara konflik kerjakeluarga dan kepuasan kerja dengan komitmen karyawan relatif lemah (R = 0,412). Demikian pula, kontribusi kedua variabel independen hanya sebesar 0,169 (16,9%). Secara simultan, komitmen organisasi dipengaruhi oleh konflik kerja-keluarga dan kepuasan kerja. Namun, secara parsial, hanya kepuasan kerja yang berpengaruh secara signifikan pada komitmen organisasi.Kata kunci: konflik kerja-keluarga, kepuasan kerja, komitmen karyawan, regresi berganda

Abstract

The end of twentieth century will be driven by a new set of expectation. As a result of globalization within organizational development will reshape intervention strategies through learning organization and transfor¬mational leadership model. They’re important to drive organizational change because of breathtaking changes foreseen in the business and political environment and that change requires creating a new system and then in¬stitutionalizing the new approach.This paper reviews roles of the learning organization and transformational lea¬dership in successful managing change process. This paper divided into five sections. First, importance revolution will be presented to describe step of organization growth. Second, focus on how to manage organization change. The third, describe role of the learning organization to drive change. The Fourth, describe role of transformational leadership. And whole discussion will be cloncuded in the fifth section.Keyword: revolution,learning organization , transformational leader model.
