Jurnal Siasat Bisnis (JSB) is a peer review journal published twice a year (January and July) by Management Development Centre (MDC)-Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, Universitas Islam Indonesia. JSB) addresses the broad area of management science and its applications in industry and business. It is particularly receptive to research relevant to the practice of management within the emerging regions and its effects beyond. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh interaksi penganggaran partisipatif dengan budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja manajerial secara simultan dan interaksi penganggaran partisipatif dengan budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja manajerial serta interaksi penganggaran partisipatif dengan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja manajerial secara parsial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis dan untuk menguji hipotesis digunakan analisis MRA (Moderating Regression Anlysis). Survey dilakukan pada 144 aparatur yang terlibat dalam proses penyusunan anggaran pada Pemerintah Daerah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa interaksi penganggaran partisipatif dengan budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja manajerial berhubungan positif. selanjutnya interaksi penganggaran partisipatif dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja manajerial, sementara interaksi penganggaran partisipatif dengan gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja manajerial.Kata Kunci: Penganggaran Partisipatif, Budaya Organisasi, Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Kinerja Manajerial.

Abstract

The Regional Autonomy policy of the government in Indonesia will give a crucial impact for a regional enterprise owned by the regional government (in short BUMD). In the context of regional autonomy era, the BUMD will be playing a very important role in increasing of financial contribution to the real regional income of the region. The problems are, how will this mission be achieved, and what is the business strategy for improving the regional enterprise performance? By aligning human resource strategy, to business strategy, these problems will be analyzed. Strategic business goals should never be considered without linking them with human resource strategy. Based on human resource perspective, the BUMD will therefore be successful to achieve the mission, when it is managed by professional managers and skilled employees. The BUMD must consider to change organization structure, redesigning job, replace unskilled employee, in order to develop organizational performance. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuiPengaruh Indikator Daring: Surel dan Layanan Pelanggan Terhadap Kesetiaan Pelanggan pada anggota Fitness First di Jakarta. Simple random sampling digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel dan kuesioner digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data.Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan studi kausal yaitu mencari pengaruh antara variabel terikat dan variabel bebas.Analisis data dilakukan terhadap 200 responden yang merupakan anggota yang menjadi Fitness First di Jakarta.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan menurut tingkat ekspalansi/penjelasan, maka jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif.Dalam penelitian ini jenis data yang dikumpulkan mengunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner (angket) dengan memberikan pertanyaan-pertanyaan tertulis kepada responden untuk dijawab. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel email marketing dan layanan pelanggan secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh terhadap kesetiaan secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study observes the bankruptcy prediction models introduced by Altman; the First Altman model, the Revised Altman model, and the Modified Altman model to predict bankruptcy for manufacturing companies listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The research was conducted for forty-two manufacturing companies that matched criteria in the selection of the sample over the years 2004-2007 based on published data for the same period. To accommodate various Almant models, the data was then calculated based on financial ratio and the data have been processed further to find the bancruptcy index as suggested by the models. The results of the three models are then compared with the use of company’s age and size as descriptive information to predict the company’s bankruptcy potential. The result of comparative data in bankruptcy prediction is that; the first Altman provides the highest percentage in predicting the bankruptcy. The research also found that the company categorized under small groups and under the age of 30 were likely to go bankcrupt in compare to the other groups. Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara kualitas layanan secara elektronik terhadap loyalitaskonsumen dalam studi kasus situs Bhinneka.com. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang sudah pernah melakukan transaksi pembelian secara online dari website Bhinneka.com.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan penyebaran kuesioner online yang terdiri dari 40 indikator pertanyaan dimana menggunakan skala Likert 1-7. Jumlah responden yang digunakan sebanyak 219 responden. Dengan menggunakan program Smart PLS2.0 M3, hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pengaruh secara signifikan positif terhadap E-Loyalty. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa e-service quality dan overall e-service quality memiliki pengaruh pada e-satisfaction. Sedangkan e-satisfaction menjadi variable penting dalam mempengaruhi e-loyalty.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to examine collaboration between strategic management and economics. These views are intended to challenge both economics and strategists to recognize each others contributions, limitations as well as the opportunities each faces in connecting theory and application. The importance of economic relationships for strategy is a central theme of this paper. Most of important literatures on strategy in the past 20 years are based on well-developed ideas from economics. Understanding robust economic relationships can help us understand why some strategies are well-suited to one set of conditions but not to other. The judicious application of economic principles to a firm’s circumstances can increase the odds of formulating and executing a successful business strategy. There is much to be said for viewing strategy from the perspective of multiple disciplines lenses. But depth of strategic knowledge is as important as breadth. Deep knowledge of any discipline permits the formulation of subtle and powerful hypotheses and development of rich strategies. An advance economics use for analyzing individual and institutional decision making is that it requires the analyst to be explicit about the key elements of the process of strategy. Abstract

In the last three decades worldwide environmental consciousness has increased dramatically as well as profiling green consumers have gained tremendous attention in the past. Segmenting and targeting markets base on pro-environmental purchase behavior are essential when companies positioning their green products. Socio-demographic characteristics have gained a lot of attention as the key profiling variables. Such characteristics have been employed by many scholars more frequently for the bases of segmenting and profiling green consumers. However, most existing studies of green consumers’ socio-demographic were US based. The present article attempts to review the common hypotheses of socio-demographic characteristics in profiling green consumers. The present article reviews five general hypotheses relating to socio-demographics and environmental consciousness of green consumers, namely the gender, age, education level, income, and occupation hypotheses, as well as the theoretical explanation for each hypothesis. Most previous studies tend to have the same conclusion in the gender, age, education level, and  income characteristics. Critics to socio-demographic characteristics and a need to conduct green marketing research in Indonesia was also reviewed.Key words: profiling, socio-demographic, green consumer, hypotheses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengamati penggunakan pembayaran elektronik dengan menggunakan dompet elektronik (dompet elektronik) yang ditawarkan oleh Go-Jek. Dompet elektronik telah dipandang sebagai sebuah fasilitas yang memberikan kenyamanan dan kemudahan dalam bertransaksi. Namun demikian, banyak orang memandang bahwa teknologi ini juga memiliki risiko, terutama karena disebabkan terkait dengan pembayaran. Meskipun mengandung risiko menurut sebagaian orang, banyak pula pelanggan yang masih mempercainya dan tetap menggunakannya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini mempertimbangkan faktor risiko dan kepercayaan untuk mengembangkan Technology Acceptance Model yang komprehensif. Temuan empiris menunjukkan bahwa baik risiko maupun kepercayaan berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan teknologi pembayaran elektronik. Saran untuk penelitian lanjutan juga disajikan di akhir paper ini.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to test the pecking order theory and trade-off theory of capital structure in the analysis of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Pecking order theory is represented by the variable profitability and growth, while the variables volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets and the size represents a trade-off theory. The company's goal is prosperity of shareholder value. To achieve these objectives the company needs funds from internal sources and external sources. Internal sources in the form of retained earnings, while the external sources of debt and shareholders' approval in the pecking order theory. This study uses the data of financial ratios of the firms during the period 2000-2010. To analyze the data, this study uses a multiple regression with the dependent variable is the debt ratio, while profitability, growth, volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets and size as independent variables. The results show that asset structure and company size has a positive and significant impact on capital structure, while profitability has a negative effect on debt ratios. But company's growth rate has not relationship with the debt ratio or capital structure. Simultaneously, the all independent variables affect capital structure significantly.Keywords: pecking order, trade-off, capital structure, debt rasioAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji teori pecking order dan teori trade-off dalam analisis struktur modal di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Teori pecking order diwakili oleh variabel profitability dan growth, sementara variabel-variabel volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets dan size mewakili teori trade-off. Tujuan perusahaan adalah memakmurkan nilai pemegang saham. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut perusahaan membutuhkan dana yang diperoleh dari sumber internal dan sumber eksternal. Sumber internal berupa laba ditahan, sedangkan sumber eksternal berupa hutang dan saham sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam teori pecking order. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa rasio-rasio keuangan dari perusahaan sampel selama periode tahun 2000-2010. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan variabel terikat adalah debt ratio; sedangkan profitability, growth, volatility of earnings, tangibility of assets dan size bertindak sebagai variabel bebas. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa struktur asset dan ukuran perusahaan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap rasio hutang perusahaan. Sementara variabel proftabilitas memiliki efek negatif terhadap rasio hutang. Sedangkan tingkat pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak ditemukan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan rasio hutang. Secara simultan, variabel-variabel bebas dapat mempengaruhi rasio hutang secara signifikan.Kata Kunci: pecking order, trade-off, struktur modal, rasio keuangan

Abstract

Paper ini memuat desain penentuan premi asuransi deposito dengan mempertimbangkan pinalti bagi perilaku moral hazard dan memberikan sanggahan teoritis terhadap pendapat yang meragukan kebaikan asuransi deposito. Sanggahan ini didasarkan pada desain premi jika mempertimbangkan pinalti bagi perilaku moral hazard. Sanggahan ini merujuk pada manfaat asuransi berupa penurunan penarikan serta laba bank yang positip dan manfaat sosial yang diperoleh pemerintah.
