Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VIII C di SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta pada pokok bahasan kubus dan balok dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta. Objek penelitian adalah pelaksanaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada pokok bahasan kubus dan balok. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, tes pemahaman konsep, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknis analisis data menggunakan teknik kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing pada siswa kelas VIII C SMP Negeri 11 Yogyakarta dengan pokok bahasan kubus dan balok dapat: (1) Meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa yaitu sebelum dilaksanakan tindakan pembelajaran rata-rata nilai siswa sebesar 39,74 dan ketuntasan sebesar 0% (kategori rendah), setelah dilaksanakan tindakan pembelajaran nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 71,62 dan ketuntasan sebesar 55,88% (kategori cukup) pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 85,66 dan ketuntasan sebesar 85,29 % (kategori tinggi) pada siklus II. (2) Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dilihat dari kegiatan guru sebesar 73,33% (kategori cukup), kegiatan siswa sebesar 56,47% (kategori cukup) pada siklus I dan pada siklus II keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dilihat dari kegiatan guru meningkat menjadi 96,67% (kategori tinggi), kegiatan siswa menjadi 83,71% (kategori tinggi). Kata kunci : Pemahaman Konsep Matematika, Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing

Abstract

This research aims to produce and see the effectiveness of interconnection-based mathematics-based teaching materials to facilitate the reasoning and problem-solving skills of high school students. The method used is research model development Borg & Gall with three phases: an introduction that includes literature review and analysis of student characteristics, stage of development which include determining the basic competencies and indicators, the analysis of the materials, writing materials, and instruments, and the stage of validation includes expert validation, revision I, small group trial, analysis of the trial results, revision II, and packaging the final product. The research result is drafting a set of mathematics teaching materials based integration-interconnection effective to facilitate reasoning, and problem-solving abilities of high school students worthy with the results of the assessment of Very Good is 157.5 of the maximum score 172 or percentage 91.2% and posttest result of average mathematical reasoning 77.21 and average problem-solving ability 76.01. Abstract

An SPL can be represented as a multiplication of the coefficient matrix and solution vector of the SPL. Determining the solution of an SPL can use the inverse matrix method and Cramer's rule, where both can use the concept of the determinant of a matrix. If the coefficient matrix is a unimodular matrix, then all solutions of an SPL are integers. Abstract

Penelitian korelasional ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat korelasi positif antara gaya kognitif field dependent dan tingkat pemahaman konsep matematis pada siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran langsung dan STAD. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Lampung Selatan. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling sehingga diperoleh dua kelas sampel penelitian. Metode tes diterapkan untuk mengumpulkan data. Instrumen penelitianini berupa GEFT dan tes pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi persamaan garis lurus. Berdasar pada hasil pengujian hipotesis, diperoleh simpulan bahwa (1) terdapat korelasi positif antara gaya kognitif field dependent dan tingkat pemahaman konsep matematis pada siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran langsung dan (2) tidak terdapat korelasi positif antara gaya kognitif field dependent dan tingkat pemahaman konsep matematis pada siswa yang dikenai model pembelajaran STAD. Hasil ini berimplikasi bahwa model pembelajaran mempengaruhi tingkat pemahaman matematis siswa yang bergaya kognitif field dependent. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know: 1) How the application of reciprocal teaching approach can increase the ability of critical thinking and self-regulated learning; 2) whether there is a relationship between the ability to think critically self-regulated learningwith reciprocal teaching approach. This research is implemented Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Bandung Barat with the population are all MA students in West Bandung regency. The method used in this research is Quasi Eksperimen where there are two classes that one class by using reciprocal teaching and one class again using ordinary learning. The study design was a non-randomized control-treatment group, pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was all students in West Bandung regency and the sample subjects were two classes in MAN Bandung Barat with the total number of 72 students, 1 as experiment class and one class as control class. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas VIII D SMP N 1 Kasihan setelah mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Solving pada pokok bahasan Kubus dan Balok.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas, yaitu suatu upaya untuk mencermati kegiatan belajar secara kolaboratif berupa sebuah tindakan yang sengaja dimunculkan dan terjadi dalam sebuah kelas. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII D dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, tes, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Teknik anaslisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu menganalisis data observasi, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi, sedangkan deskriptif kuatitatif yaitu menganalisis data observasi dan tes.Hasil penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran matematika dengan model pembelajaran Problem Solving dilakukan melalui enam fase yaitu menyajikan permasalahan, mengidentifikasi pola atau aturan yang disajikan, mengekplorasi, menginvestigasi, menduga dan menemukan solusi, dengan tingkat keterlaksanaan 95,83% (kriteria tinggi) di siklus I dan 100% (kriteria tinggi) di siklus II sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dari Prasiklus 44,44 (kriteria kurang), meningkat pada siklus I 72,25 (kriteria baik) dan meningkat pada siklus II 85,08 (kriteria baik sekali).  Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran Problem Solving,  Pemahaman Konsep Matematika

Abstract

This study aims to examine the mathematical communication skills of students whose learning using Problem Based Learning approach GeoGebra assisted compared with using ordinary learning. This research is using the experimental method. Population in this research is a student of class X SMAN 1 Parongpong West Bandung academic year 2017/2018 with a sample of research is a student of class X SMAN 1 Parongpong consisting of class X Mia 1 as control class and X Mia 4 as experiment class is taken at random. The instrument used in this research is a test of mathematical communication ability in the form of problem description as much as 8 questions, as well as Self Confidence scale. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistic 1.7 for windows program. From this research, the following results are obtained: (1) Improvement of mathematical communication ability of students whose mathematical learning using geographic assisted PBL approach is better than using ordinary learning. Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out the improvement of students' understanding of concepts in the basic mathematics subject of relations and functions. This type of research is an experiment, with one group pretest-posttest design research design. The study population was all first-level students of the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD). The determined sample is class I.A as many as 26 students with a purposive sampling technique. Research instruments in the form of UTS questions and tests of students' conceptual understanding. Testing this hypothesis using the t-test. Before conducting a hypothesis test, first test the normality and homogeneity. The student group is divided into three categories, namely high, low, and medium based on UTS results. Furthermore, based on the normalized gain score test obtained an increase in the ability of mathematical understanding for groups of students who have high and medium ability with sufficient criteria. While the group of students who have low ability has an increase with low criteria. Overall the implementation of learning media using Macromedia flash can improve students' mathematical understanding abilities by 0.403, including enough categoriesKeywords: Macromedia Flash, Relationships and Functions, Mathematical Understanding

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to analyze the competence of teachers as part of the teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge in applying scientific approach in Mathematics PLPG (in-service teacher education and professional training) program rayon 138 Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2014. The research method used is descriptive with quantitative approach. The subjects of the study consisted of 23 mathematics teachers including mathematics teachers of junior high school, high school and vocational school from Kebumen, Purworejo, and Magelang. Data was collected by filling in a questionnaire at the beginning and end of the training, observing microteaching activities, and documenting the learning material arranged by PLPG participants. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that PLPG especially PLPG rayon 138 Yogyakarta, Indonesia, in 2014 gives benefits for the development of teachers’ PCK, especially in terms of teachers’ competence in applying scientific approach. Based on the analysis of learning materials arranged by the teachers and analysis of learning videos, it is known that the majority of the teachers have been able to construct a learning material using scientific approach and implement it properly.  Keywords: teacher’s competence, pedagogical content knowledge, scientific approach, PLPG

Abstract

This study aims to predict the number of poor in Indonesia for the next few years using a triple exponential smoothing method.The purpose of this research is the result of the forecast number of poor people in Indonesia accurate forecast results are used as an alternative data the government for consideration of government to determine the direction of national poverty reduction policies. This research includes the study of literature research, by applying the theory of forecasting to generate predictions of poor people for coming year. Furthermore, analyzing the mistakes of the methods used in terms of the count: Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Square Error (MSE), Mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) and Mean Percentage Error (MPE). The function of this error analysis is to measure the accuracy of forecasting results that have been conducted.These results indicate that the number of poor people in 2017 amounted to 24,741,871 inhabitants, in 2018 amounted to 24,702,928 inhabitants, in 2019 amounted to 24,638,022 inhabitants and in 2020 amounted to 24,547,155 people. The forecasting results show an average reduction in the number of poor people in Indonesia last five years (2016-2020 years) ranges from 0.16 million. Analysis forecasting model obtained an mean absolute deviation (MAD) obtained by 0.246047. Mean squared error (MSE) of forecasting results with the original data by 1.693277. Mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 3.040307% and the final Mean percentage error (MPE) of 0.888134%.Kata Kunci: Forecasting, Triple Exponential Smoothing
