Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa padamateri operasi aljabar dan metode yang digunakan kurang memotivasi siswa. Salah satu solusi yangdapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan metodestratagem. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasimatematis siswa. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 20 siswa kelasVIIIB MTs Islamic Centre Kota Cirebon. Penelitian ini berupa penerapan dengan menggunakanmetode stratagem. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis berupasoal uraian dan lembar angket respons siwa. Metode ini diterapkan pada kelas eksperimen denganjumlah 20 orang siswa yang dibagi menjadi lima kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanmetode stratagem dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Berdasarkandeskripsi data, pengolahan data dan pengujian signifikansi terhadap penelitian yang telah diuraikan,dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode stratagem dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasimatematis siswa pada pembelajaran operasi aljabar.

Abstract

AbstractThis research aims to find out the improvement of students' understanding of concepts in the basic mathematics subject of relations and functions. This type of research is an experiment, with one group pretest-posttest design research design. The study population was all first-level students of the Primary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD). The determined sample is class I.A as many as 26 students with a purposive sampling technique. Research instruments in the form of UTS questions and tests of students' conceptual understanding. Testing this hypothesis using the t-test. Before conducting a hypothesis test, first test the normality and homogeneity. The student group is divided into three categories, namely high, low, and medium based on UTS results. Furthermore, based on the normalized gain score test obtained an increase in the ability of mathematical understanding for groups of students who have high and medium ability with sufficient criteria. While the group of students who have low ability has an increase with low criteria. Abstract

Penyusunan soal berpikir tingkat tinggi (HOTS) masih belum dipahami dan dikuasai dengan baik oleh guru di SDN Sadagori 1 Kota Cirebon. Padahal kemampuan ini sangat penting untuk dimiliki setiap pendidik dalam rangka mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi kompetisi pada abad 21. Soal HOTS tidak serta merta dapat dikuasai oleh siswa tanpa adanya stimulus yang diberikan. Oleh karena itu tujuan pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman tentang ciri-ciri soal HOTS dari C4 – C6, strategi membuat pengecoh yang efektif/berfungsi, mengubah soal LOTS menjadi HOTS serta memberikan pengalaman langsung dalam membuat soal HOTS dan pengecohnya. Metode pelaksanaan PKM terdiri dari tiga tahap, yakni pendahuluan, solusi mitra, dan evaluasi. Pengabdian ini melibatkan 19 guru, 3 observer dan 2 pemateri. Pada saat pelatihan berlangsung, semua guru aktif dalam bertanya saat pemaparan materi maupun diskusi kelompok dalam membuat soal HOTS dan pengecohnya. Berdasarkan hasil observasi setiap opictor pencapaian berhasil dikuasai oleh guru. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini disambut baik oleh seluruh guru dan kepala sekolah. Harapannya kegiatan ini dapat berkesinambungan dengan mengambil opic-topik atau isu yang sedang hangat dibidang Pendidikan.

Abstract

AbstrakPengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berbasis STREAM (Sains, Teknologi, Religi, Teknik, Seni dan Matematika) dengan konteks materi gerhana matahari cincin untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan edukasi astronomi ini sebagai upaya peningkatan kesadaran keamanan pengamatan dalam mengamati peristiwa gerhana matahari cincin bagi siswa sekolah dasar dengan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran STREAM. Kegiatan ini dimaksudkan sebagai wahana edukasi astronomi dalam menanamkan sebuah pemahaman kesadaran keamanan kepada siswa SD dalam mengamati peristiwa gerhana matahari disalah satu sekolah dasar kota Cirebon dan Bandung. Melalui kegiatan ini diharpkan guru – guru dan siswa dapat lebih eksplorasi kreatfitas pengajaranya, menyenangi, siap berpartsipasi dalam pendidikan astronomi bagi anak sedari dini di pembelajaran IPA menjadi menyenangkan dalam memahami konten fisika mengenai astronomi. Menjelang akhir tahun nanti, tepatnya pada tanggal 26 Desember 2019, masyarakat Indonesia akan mendapat kesempatan untuk menyaksikan sebuah peristiwa astronomi yang langka dan spektakuler, yaitu Gerhana Matahari Cincin. Pengabdian ini diadakan pada bulan November - Desember 2019 di salah satu sekolah dasar kabupaten Bandung dan kota Cirebon. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap termasuk mengenai Implementasi STREAM kepada guru kelas seperti paparan STREAM, penjelasan tentang merancang pembelajaran berbasis STREAM dan Impelementasi Hasil Rancangan pembelajaran berbasis STREAM di kelas yang telah di sepakati untuk dijalankan program. Kuesioner guru dan siswa diberikan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang respon atas pembelajaran STREAM yang di impelemntasikan.AbstractThis service aims to implement STREAM-based learning (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) with the context of ring solar eclipse material for elementary school students. This astronomy education activity is an effort to increase awareness of observation security in observing ring solar eclipse events for elementary school students through the STREAM learning approach. This activity is intended as a vehicle for astronomical education in instilling an understanding of security awareness to elementary students in observing solar eclipse events in one of the elementary schools of the cities of Cirebon and Bandung. Through this activity teachers and students are expected to be more able to explore the creativeness of their instructors, enjoy, be prepared to participate in astronomy education for children from an early age in learning science to be fun in understanding the physics content about astronomy. Towards the end of the year, precisely on December 26, 2019, the people of Indonesia will have the opportunity to witness a rare and spectacular astronomical event, the Ring Solar Eclipse. This service is held in November - December 2019 in one of the elementary schools in Bandung regency and Cirebon city. This activity is carried out through several stages including the Implementation of STREAM to classroom teachers such as STREAM exposure, explanation of designing STREAM-based learning and Implementation of STREAM-based learning designs in classes that have been agreed to run the program. Teacher and student questionnaires were given to collect data on responses to STREAM learning that was implemented.

Abstract

Mental retardation is a child who has below average intelligence. In other words, they have less learning ability compared to others. This situation caused them difficulty in understanding abstract mathematical material. In addition, it appears that the material presented by the teacher is considered to be less interesting and boring by them. Though the model of the presentation of material that is fun, interesting, and easy to understand is one of the factors that influence their learning success. They are bored with the model of presenting the material using the media that the teacher uses repeatedly. Therefore, teachers' creativity and innovation are needed in utilizing the media and being able to package it into concepts that are interesting and fun for their students. So that the learning needs can be met optimally. Thus, this service aims to improve teacher skills in utilizing instructional media in the form of wooden scales and pop-up. Thus, through community service activities, it is expected to be able to provide benefits to teachers of mentally retarded KKG groups in Cirebon District, namely: (a) increase teacher knowledge about mathematics learning by utilizing learning media (b) enhancing teacher pedagogical competence by utilizing scales from wood waste and pop-up books. up to teach retarded students.

Abstract

AbstrakHampir sebagian besar orang tua siswa berada di sekolah untuk menemani anaknya belajar. Aktivitas mereka yang monoton, seperti mengantar dan menunggu anaknya belajar di TK, sungguh sesuatu yang perlu dipikirkan. Apalagi keberadaan mereka yang bergerombol dan tidak teratur, hanya diisi dengan mengobrol, jajan camilan, atau sesekali arisan kecil untuk menutup kebosanan. Kondisi ini, dapat diupayakan agar aktivitas menunggu itu bisa lebih bermanfaat dan bernilai tambah bagi mereka. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdi merancang suatu pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam membuat beberapa kreasi yang sebelumnya belum pernah dilakukan. Kreasi tersebut berupa kerajinan rajut tangan yang dibentuk menjadi berbagai macam benda seperti gantungan kunci, konektor masker, bunga, dll. Kerajinan merajut dapat dilakukan kapan saja dan dimana saja. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan (1) aktivitas keterampilan rajut tangan, dan (2) pengetahuan access market orang tua siswa TK B Annur. Metode kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan dengan ceramah, tanya jawab, dan simulasi.  Tahapan yang dilalui diantaranya observasi lapangan, sosialisasi, pra pelatihan, pelatihan, evaluasi dan kegiatan pendampingan. Melalui kegiatan PKM diharapkan orang tua siswa dapat mengembangkan potensinya secara optimal dan menguatkan perekonomian keluarga dengan wirausaha. AbstractMost of the students' parents are at school to accompany their children to study. Their monotonous activities, such as escorting and waiting for their children to study in kindergarten, are really something to think about. Especially when they are clustered and disorganized, only filled with chatting, snacking, or the occasional small social gathering to cover boredom. In this condition, efforts can be made so that the waiting activity can be more useful and have added value for them. Therefore, the service team designed a training and mentoring in making several creations that had never been done before. These creations are in the form of hand-knit crafts that are formed into various kinds of objects such as key chains, mask connectors, flowers, etc. Knitting crafts can be done anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this service activity is to improve (1) hand knitting skills activities, and (2) knowledge of access market parents of Kindergarten B Annur students. Methods of service community activities is carried out by lecturing, question and answer, and simulation. The stages taken included field observations, socialization, pre-training, training, evaluation and mentoring activities. Through community service activities, it is hoped that students' parents can develop their potential optimally and strengthen the family economy with entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Kemandirian belajar diperlukan bagi manusia sepanjang hidupnya. Namun, siswa belum memiliki kemandirian secara optimal dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemandirian belajar siswa kelas III SDN Karang Jalak 1 dalam pembelajaran tematik. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dilakukan dengan metode kuesioner atau angket kemudian menggunakan skala likert. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SDN Karang Jalak I. Bentuk kemandirian belajar siswa yang dikembangkan di SDN karang Jalak 1 di antaranya percaya diri, aktif dalam belajar, disiplin, memiliki hasrat untuk maju, mampu bekerja sendiri, tanggung jawab, dan mampu mengambil keputusan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemandirian belajar siswa kelas III di SDN Karang Jalak 1 berkembang dengan baik dan sangat antusias sehingga interaksi proses belajar mengajar dapat berlangsung sesuai yang diharapkan.Kata Kunci: kemandiran belajar; siswa; pembelajaran tematik

Abstract

ABSTRAKMasa pandemi covid 19 telah mengganggu proses belajar tatap muka di sekolah. Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ) secara daring menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Oleh karena itu perlu peranan media agar siswa tidak jenuh dalam belajar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah menerapkan powtoon sebagai salah satu alternatif media dalam PJJ di SDN II Kedungdawa Kabupaten Cirebon. Kegiatan PKM dilakukan dengan harapan guru termotivasi mengintegrasikan IT secara maksimal untuk membuat video pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar. Metode dalam kegiatan PKM terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu observasi, identifikasi masalah, solusi, dan evaluasi. Peserta dalam pengabdian ini sebanyak 28 siswa kelas VI. Hasil pemanfaatan media powtoon diantaranya meningkatkan motivasi siswa, pembelajaran tidak membosankan, dan materi lebih mudah dipahami. Selain itu adanya ketertarikan guru untuk dapat membuat media powtoon sendiri merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan PKM yang telah dilakukan. Oleh karena itu  sebagai rekomendasi tim akan merancang kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan powtoon yang menarik, variatif dan interaktif sebagai upaya peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran bagi guru di SDN II Kedungdawa Kabupaten Cirebon Kata kunci: powtoon; pembelajaran jarak jauh; media pembelajaran. ABSTRACTThe Covid 19 pandemic has disrupted the face-to-face learning process in schools. Distance learning is an alternative to overcome this problem. Therefore we need the role of the media so that students are not bored in learning. The purpose of this community service activity is to implement the powtoon as an alternative media in distance learning at SDN II Kedungdawa, Cirebon Regency. PKM activities are carried out with the hope that teachers are motivated to optimally integrate IT to make learning videos that can be used in the learning process. The method in PKM activities consists of 4 stages, namely observation, problem identification, solution, and evaluation. Participants in this activities were 28 students in grade sixth.The results of using powtoon media include increasing student motivation, learning is not boring, and the material is easier to understand. In addition, the teacher's interest in being able to make their own powtoon media is an indicator of the success of the PKM that has been carried out. Therefore, as a recommendation, the team will design training activities for making powtoon that are interesting, varied and interactive as an effort to improve the quality of learning for teachers at SDN II Kedungdawa, Cirebon. Keywords: powtoon; distance learning; material teaching.

Abstract

Housewives (RT) in one of the Talun Districts are active in activities every month, namely “arisan”. Unfortunately, those who are members of the RT Community just fill their spare time because on average they don't work in the formal sector. They want to increase their potential by not forgetting their obligations as wives or mothers at home. This is urgent to do to increase the potential of women in order to produce superior resources. Currently, women's participation in the business sector is increasing. This is due to the provision of equal and fair opportunities for women to carry out business activities, so that it is expected to help improve the family economy. Thus, it cannot be denied that women can strengthen the economic resilience of families and communities. Therefore, the team seeks to take advantage of opportunities to increase the potential of mothers by providing appropriate skills, raw materials that are easily available and having economic values. This skill is the decoupage. Method used to carry out community service in the form of lectures, questions and answers, and practice through four stages starting from the analysis process to determining the target output. The results obtained by partners are very enthusiastic and have a desire to practice independently to be more skilled. In addition, the participants had mastered the knowledge of techniques for making decoupage crafts and marketing.
