Abstract

Bank Indonesia has transforms since 1746 influenced various policies issued by Bank Indonesia, one of which is the policy of assessing the soundness of banks. This policy underwent a change which was originally based on CAMEL, until now it became RBBR. This policy is made to assess the performance of banking institutions which will have an impact on the value of the company. Using panel data regression with a total sample of 15 foreign exchange banks for 5 years of research, this study found that the ratios of RBBR are LDR, PDN, NPL, GCG, ROA, NIM and CAR together have a considerable influence on the value of the company as proxied by Tobin's Q of 76.61%, capital being a variable has a positive and significant effect on firm value.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze economic efficiency and the factors that influence the performance of coconut sugar SMEs in Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency. This study uses primary data obtained through interviews with 162 respondents. By using Benefit-Cost Ratio analysis and multiple regression, this study finds that the coconut sugar business in Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency is not yet efficient and the coconut sugar business performance is positively influenced by financial capital. While social capital and human capital do not affect it. This research implies the need for continuous efforts from all stakeholders to provide business assistance and certainty in product marketing so that product prices become more stable. In addition, it is also necessary to optimize the potential of social and human capital to strengthen the role of financial capital in improving business performance. This can be done through the institutionalization of social capital and optimizing the role of the village government in facilitating cooperation with various parties.

Abstract

This study aims to review the support of work-life balance and work-from-home to work-family conflict. The research method was conducted through a survey of 110 employees from several cities in Indonesia. The Data obtained through the questionnaire was analyzed with the Structural Equation Modeling approach. The analysis tool used in this research is Lisrel. The research results found that work-from-home has an effect on work-life balance, and work-life balance can decrease work-family conflict. Furthermore, work-from-home is not able to directly decrease work-family conflict. The research found that work-family conflict can be indirectly controlled by work-fromhome through the mediation of work-life balance. The importance of work-life balance in mediating work-from-home and work-family conflict raises a mediation model that is a mediation model of work-life balance to decrease work-family conflict. This information is useful for companies in evaluating work-family conflict through the implementation of work-from-home.

Abstract

The goal of the research is to know the effect of the consumer behavior and perceived risk on, the consumers’ buying decision. This research employs a quantitative approach, descriptive and verified design. As much as 100 consumers are selected as respondents using a purposive method. The instrument of data collection is questionnaire. The data analysis used is Structural Equation Modeling. The research results show that the consumer behavior and perceived risk affects the consumer buying decision significantly. The biggest effect of the consumer behavior dimension on the buying decision variable is a personal factor and the biggest effect of the consumer behavior variable is on payment method dimension. The perceived risk contributes to the consumer buying decision significantly. It also proves that that the emerging of the online shops contributes shifting of the consumer behavior from a conventional business transaction into a digital one among the consumers.

Abstract

This research begins with the discovery of problems in employee performance. The problem in this study is the low performance of employees, which is indicated by low human intelligence and competence. This study aims to analyze how the influence of human intelligence on employee performance is mediated by competence. With a sample of 90 people, using path analysis data analysis techniques (Path Analysis), the results show that emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on competence by 32.95%. Also, emotional intelligence has a positive and significant effect on performance mediated by competence of 15.88%. Then, intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on competence by 22.49%, while intellectual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on performance mediated by competence by 12.77%. Furthermore, spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on competence by 7.31%, and spiritual intelligence has a positive and significant effect on performance mediated by competence by 2.62%. Then competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance by 73.44%.

Abstract

MSME is the primary driver of the Indonesian economic sector, which, unfortunately, remains struggling in controlling and adopting technology, including Blockchain technology. Blockchain is an effective technology that includes all business activities processes and improves the performance and security of company data. This study explored behavioral intervention in adopting the Blockchain technology in MSME Phil’s Auto, Kinandara Boutique, Sabana Restaurant, and Narassi Coffee. The analysis performed in this study was qualitative data analysis on interview results with the MSMEs’ owners. The study results show that the four MSMEs are interested and willing to implement Blockchain technology. Blockchain is expected to help the company improve business activity effectiveness and company data security. Future studies are expected to provide solutions to MSME problems in adopting Blockchain technology.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Financial Distress, Dividend Policy and RGECon Firm Value with EPS as the intervening variable. This research is explanatory in nature and employs a quantitative descriptive method. The data utilized was gathered from the annual financial reports of commercial banks in Indonesia from 2012 to 2018, with a sample size of 23 bank. The collected data was then analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Model) and the PLS3 Program. According to the findings of this study, Financial Distress has no influence on firm value or Earningsper share (EPS). The dividend policy and the RGEC have a major impact on EPS. Firm Value is significantly influenced by RGEC and EPS. The connection between Dividend Policy and RGECon Firm Value can be mediated through EPS. Meanwhile, the EPS variable cannot mediate the influence of Financial Distress on Firm Value.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that is overtaking the world, particularly Indonesia has undoubtedly changed business scenarios and conditions, requiring practical and strategic approaches to bring enterprises back from the verge of disaster. In order to overcome a pandemic situation like this, a leader with an autocratic leadership style is required, as well as an organizational change to make the company survive and adapt to existing changes in order to maintain the company's survival so that employee performance remains good and optimal. The goal of this research was to see if there was a relationship between autocratic leadership style and organizational transformation and the performance of “PT ABC” workers during the pandemic. The sample technique is non-probability sampling and uses 100 respondents from “PT ABC” employees. The results of this research show that the autocratic leadership style and organizational change have a posittive and significant effect on employee performance during the pandemic at “PT ABC” company.

Abstract

The urgency of this study is to analyze poverty based on the characteristics of districts/cities in Java-Bali and regions outside Java-Bali. This study used panel data from 2010-2019 in 128 regencies/cities in the Java-Bali islands, and 382 regencies/cities outside Java-Bali region. Analysis using the STATA application with the analytical used is Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Access to electricity has a negative and significant effect on poverty while access to sanitation has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in Java-Bali. The KUR program, access to clean water, GRDP, education and population have positive and significant impact on poverty in the Java-Bali region. The results of the analysis in areas outside Java-Bali suggest that GRDP has a positive but insignificant effect on poverty while the KUR Program, access to electricity, access to water, access to sanitation, education and population have significant and positive effect on poverty.

Abstract

Waste management has been a concern for the government because it is closely related to sustainable development. Wreckage collectors play a significant role in waste reduction and management. Therefore, the sustainability of the wreckage collector business, which is measured through profit performance, is interesting to investigate. This study aims to analyze the effect of education level, firm age, type of product, and capital on the profit of wreckage collectors in Cirebon city. The population consist of 40 wreckage collectors, all were selected as respondents. The data were analyzed with multiple linear regression using the OLS method. The results show that education, firm age, and capital have a positive and significant effect on the profit of wreckage collectors, while type of product has no significant effect. The results imply the need to improve education for wreckage collectors. In addition, financial institutions should facilitate low-interest loans to improve turnover and profit.
