This research aims to analyze the effect of fertilizer subsidies on the production and household income of rice farming in Indonesia using the 2017 crops business cost structure survey data. Utilizing the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method, this research shows that rice farming households that received fertilizer subsidies have higher production and income than households that did not receive subsidies. Simultaneously, in the Two-Stage Least Square (TSLS) method, the usage of the ownership status of a household residential building as an instrument for the fertilizer subsidy variable is considered inaccurate so that it cannot answer the research objectives.

The research examines impact of monetary policy on herding behavior in the stock market. This study used OLS Regression, SUR, and Panel Regression Method. The results show that monetary policy affects herd behavior in stock market, specially in emerging market which have a specific characteristic such as low liquidity and low number of investor. Using SUR, this study show that common factors which affect the global herd behavior are not influential. Domestic stock market has its own variable that may initiate herd behavior.

This study was aimed to analyze the relationship of long-term and short-term equilibrium between exchange rates and inflation on exports in ASEAN-8 countries (Brunei Darussalam, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand) by using analysis model with the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) panel from the period 1990 to 2017. The model selection was based on long-term and short-term capabilities with different stationary levels. The results revealed that in long-term the exchange rate and inflation had a dominant influence on export activities in ASEAN-8 countries, while inflation had a dominant influence on exports in short-term. This result proved that inflation had a large influence on the growth of the trade stability, if the cost of products and services continuously increased in the market mechanism, it will result in the increased public consumption. The excess liquidity in the market triggered the consumption or speculation which resulted in the non-compliance products distribution and the decline in currency value continuously.

Economic development in a country is indicated by an increase in the number of industrial sectors and other supporting facilities such as transportation. However, there is another impact on developments inndustrial sectors and transportation, especially environmental degradation. Air pollution is one of the environmental degradation. This research was conducted to determine the short-term and long-term environmental impact of industry and transport in Indonesia. The data analysis method in this research used Autoregressive Distribution Lag (ARDL) to see the short-term and long-term effects between research variables. The data used are data on CO2 emissions, the amount of industries and transport in Indonesia from 1965 - 2018. The results showed that the industry had a negative impact on increasing CO2 emissions in the short and long term. Meanwhile, transportation has a positive impact in the short term and a negative impact in the long term.

The entrepreneurship possesses the energy to generate innovation and improvement of agricultural clusters. However, it somehow has yet been successful to reach marginalized groups including Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in agricultural clusters. The research questions to be addressed are thus: (1) how public policy at both national and regional levels contribute to entrepreneurship capacity-building in developing agricultural cluster in order to achieve SMEs empowerment. (2) Empiric actuality of entrepreneurship in agricultural cluster development. The research is a qualitative-descriptive research, case study on agricultural cluster at Subdistrict Lembah Gumanti of Solok Regency in the province of West Sumatra. Research result indicates that entrepreneurship policy has indeed yet at its best in the development of SME-based agricultural clusters due to the fact that entrepreneurial policy in agricultural clusters is still dominated by personal/private and corporation-based entrepreneurship.

Primary data were collected using interview based on questionnaires. The population consists of 144 people aged 60+ comprising of 84 people who are unemployed and 60 unemployed. In this study, the determination of the minimum sample size was carried out with the Slovin formula to choose 60 respondents consisting of 30 employed and 30 unemployed. Data analysis using binary logistic regression shows that age and education level do not have a significant effect on the elderly population's decision to work, while other income has a significant negative effect and the number of family dependents has a significant positive effect on the elderly's decision to work.

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have strategic roles in economic structure, especially in developing countries, so, they need supports from the banking industry, including foreign banks, by giving loans they need. This study aims to find the effect of bank ownership and mode of entry on credit allocation to MSMEs. We use 110 samples of conventional commercial banks and 41 samples of foreign-owned banks in Indonesia during 2010-2017, with 686 and 266 observations. The results of multiple regression show that banks with government ownership have higher credit allocation to MSMEs than non-government ownership and banks with foreign ownership have lower credit allocation to MSMEs than domestic ownership. Based on their mode of entry, banks with foreign ownership via greenfield have lower credit allocation to MSMEs than via takeover.
