Abstract

The use of communication networks is increasingly felt increasingly sophisticated. This can be seen with the use of innovative network infrastructure that provides connection services to users. Virtual service network can be a prototype of a software-based network logic in this case is a software-defined network. This software is open source-based or a lot of the paid version. Where this software serves as a bridge between networks that use routers or router software logic. Using a software-defined network on the router logic can be made very flexible and easy to integrate with a stable condition.

Abstract

Data and information needs for large organizations rely heavily on information technology infrastructure support. One of the necessary supporting components is the availability of a sufficient number of servers to increase data center. The huge costs required to increase the number of server units. Virtualization technology can be the perfect solution to resolve these problems. However, due to the high cost of a license, causing an open source-based virtualization used as the main option, namely Proxmox. The application virtualization based Proxmox, can maximize the use of resources, because the function of 3 units of physical servers can be enabled simultaneously on 1 physical server unit. The presence of live migration feature of Proxmox, allowing to move a virtual machine from one physical server to another physical server when maintenance underway. This change can take place without stopping services running on virtual machine.

Abstract

SMKN 1 South Rawajitu is one of the vocational schools are housed in Tulang Bawang. Because the local computer network is the most important thing being facilities in the Department of Computer Engineering and Networks to perform activities of daily practice, then the SMKN 1 South Rawajitu give fasillitas LAB into local networks available in the CMS. But the length of Internet use, the frequent misuse, because the user is in SMKN 1 South Rawajitu, especially students at SMKN 1 South Rawajitu often do access to sites that are prohibited to be accessed when hours of lessons such as social media sites facebook and to anticipate access to porn sites or by surfing unhealthy. Solutions that can be done is to build a proxy server by utilizing the existing facilities such as open source, especially Linux debian linux, linux application, there is one application that can narrow web application that is using squid. The use Squid proxy server with linux is more efficient because in addition to assemble their own servers and make low cost, the server is also not lose performance with servers who paid a heavy price.

Abstract

The Banana plants in Indonesia can grow well both high and lowland, from the temperate wet and dry climate. In addition to the consumption of fresh banana in Indonesia a few cultivars are also widely used as industrial raw material chips, “sale pisang” and banana flour. Many craftsmen who developed food banana in the form of sale due to ease in the manufacturing process. Making banana sale in the domestic industrial scale is still mostly done by hand which is only capable of producing 20 kg / hour in the form of processed banana fruit in banana sale. So many craftsmen maker banana sale household scale industries can not buy banana in large numbers. In the manufacture of sale of banana is done manually are still many shortcomings, which measure the thickness of the sale of banana produced uneven. In general, pressing machine banana sale is a tool that changes the shape of banana from thick to thin size. By utilizing the roll rotation that drives the conveyor belt top and conveyor belt bottom of the moving direction. In this study is designed pressing sale banana toot driven electric motor with power 2 hp 1 phase with a speed of 1400 rpm. With a shaft diameter of 25 mm, the size of the pegs 10x22 mm whit a depth of 5 mm. Gear is used in this reduction type where a large number of gear as much as 115 teeth, gear motor driver as much as 9 teeth and roll gear driver as much as 15 teeth. Bearings used in the manufacture of this pressing banana sale tool is bearing 6305 ZZ C3 P6 type.Resulting of test manufacturing pressing banana sale tool conducted showed that the pressing machine capable flattens banana sale with an average size of 10.16 cm in length banana sale, with  3.3 cm and 0.36 cm thick with a capacity of 90 Kg/hour or in day (7 hour) machine capable of pressing flattens banana sale much as 630 Kg/day.

Abstract

Robinson Mall Development has led to distribution of commercial activities and services in the city of Bandar Lampung. During this time, trading activities and services focused in the downtown area, is in The Tanjung Karang Pusat (TKP). So, centralization of comercial activity in TKP, led of many vehicles heading downtown and that have an impact on traffic congestion in the area of city center.Centralization of economic activity, such as mall, supermarket, traditional and modern market, etc, has caused problem in traffic in the TKP. Problem solving such as widening of roads and arrangements of parking, is not able to resolve the issue. So, it needed others solution to decrease traffic problem in TKP, one of solution is spread of comercial activity (IB Ilham Malik, 2013). That is mean, if there is a new application of permit to build shopping center or mall or modern market, city government will be give the permit if location of project outside of TKP area. For example; at Kemiling area, Way Halim area, Rajabasa area, Teluk Betung area, etc.Spread of commercial activity in Bandar Lampung relevan with regulation (regional regulation or Perda) on Spatial Planning, that is Perda No. 04 Year of 2004 on Spatial Planning of Bandar Lampung, and updated by Perda No. 10 Year of 2011 on the same thing. So, in line with the regulation, in some of areas in Bandar Lampung have comercial center too, such as Robinson Mall in the Rajabasa area, Boemi Kedaton Mall in Kedaton Area, Giant Supermarket and Giant Mall in Kemiling area and Antasari area, etc. And that situation, encourage of area growth and in the future will be the comercial activity area.

Abstract

Shotcrete is concrete that is applied by spraying. The use of shotcrete from year-to-year increase. Because sand is a material for the manufacture of shotcrete, the volume of sand will increase as well. Sand excavation on a large scale can lead to disruption of the environment. Reuse of tailings for shotcrete can reduce the volume of sand used. In addition, utilize waste materials will reduce the contamination surrounding environment. This study is a continuation of previous studies, that the use of tailings as conventional concrete manufacture. The results showed that the optimum tailings substitution of  25% both for conventional concrete or shotcrete. Laboratory studies conducted at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of University of Bandar Lampung and PT Semen Baturaja.  Research using a shotcrete equipment done in PT Natarang Mining, Way Linggo, Lampung. Type of admixture used is monomer composite material under the trade name Polcon. The compressive strength achieved in the laboratory was 32.7 MPa when not using Polcon as admixture. When using Polcon, the compressive strength reached 33.5 MPa. Crushing compressive strength of shotcrete in the field trial is 20.3 MPa. For studying the micro structure of tailings, cement, mortar with tailings 100%, 50% and without tailings, the Scanning Electron Microscopy micro photo are done.

Abstract

The frequency of tsunami in Indonesia is increasing since the past few decades. The increasing of both the frequency of tsunami and the population in coastal area intensify the vulnerability of such area to tsunami disasters. Tsunamis do not only cause a large number of casualties but also damages to infrastructures along the shore. Wall protection is one possible solution to reduce tsunami force. The effectiveness however depends on the ratio between the tsunami height to the wall height and the distance between the wall and the buildings.A 24m long flume of 1.45m width and 1.5m height was utilized for the experiment. Various tsunami wave fronts were generated using a dam break mechanism. The model of buildings was tested both with and without wall protection installed at various distances in front of the buildings. The results indicated that the force reduction of building depends on the ratio between sea wall height and building high. A simplified formula for the calculation of tsunami force on protected building is proposed
