Abstract

The rapid development of internet technology is getting a lot of benefits, especially in the use of the website. Therefore, an aspect of the website must meet the standards of quality websites. In this study, the quality of the Dino Tour Travel Management website is measured by using the WebQual method. WebQual is one method or technique of measuring the quality of a website based on the perception of the end user. This method is an extension of the widely used SERVQUAL prior to the measurement of service quality. From the analysis and the results of a questionnaire distributed to 23 respondents, it can be concluded that Dino Tour Travel Management website (pulautidungdino.com) meets a standard aspect of quality websites based WebQual 4.0. However, the low value of the acquisition for some questions, the manager of the website are advised to provide information that is more detailed and easy to understand.

Abstract

Extreme Programming (XP) is a software development method that is simple and includes one of the agile methods pioneered by Kent Beck, Ron Jeffries, and Ward Cunningham. The main purpose of the Extreme Programming method is to reduce the cost of software changes, in traditional systems development methodologies, system requirements specified in the first phase of the project development and it is not changed. This means that the cost to the needs of the change that occurs in the later stages will be very expensive. The Results of this study are to determine how the weaknesses and strengths of the XP method of making an application accounting terms dictionary on a Smartphone.

Abstract

Failure of Kutai Bridge already give Indonesia civil engineer a blow in face. The failure which bring cause human accident make a new challenge to Indonesia civil engineer not to wait till failure but to safe before the construction failure. By the development in sensor and monitoring technology the idea become more realistic. Structure Healthy Monitoring (SHM) become new idea to detect, to monitor and to find out the reliability of structure. The development and research in Indonesia for SHM till now are presented and compared to other country. SHM research are need to predict behaviour of bridge by using data from monitoring to gain healthy condition.

Abstract

The strength and durability of concrete depends on the composition of its constituent materials ie fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, cement, water and other additives. The cement composition is about 10% acting as a binder paste material fine and coarse aggregates. In the Lampung market there are several brands of portland cement used by the community to make concrete construction. Although there is a standard of the government of portland cement composition, yet each brand of cement has different characteristics. Cement is generally composed of limestone / limestone containing calcium oxide (CaO), clay (clay) containing silica oxide (SiO2), aluminum oxide (Al2O3), iron oxide (Fe2O3) and a cast that serves to control the hardening. Cement manufacturers make products based on chemical elements resulting from the research to make their products better than other products, so although procedurally similar but have different composition and properties. Another difference are the density, start and end time of bonding and strength. This research will be conducted research on several brands of cement in the province of Lampung, among others, vicat test, the consistency test, compression test and bending in reinforced concrete beam structure. From the research it can be shown the cement test results as an input to the user as a result of the unequal nature of the cement.

Abstract

Biro Pembinaan Kemahasiswaan dan Hubungan Alumni (BPKHA) Bandar Lampung University has one of the tasks for the alumnus record, but the way that used by BPKHA UBL still manually so that the alumnus data that are collected, it has not been gathered maximally. Therefore, the researchers examined the problem by tracking the footsteps of alumni studies or surveys of graduates have been made one of college accreditation requirements by using Customer Relationship Management (CRM ), because such methods focus on how to attract the alumnus so that they always fill up the alumnus form and register themselves in detail . Tracer Study becomes increasingly important role as it can provide important information for the development of higher education . Additionally tracer study acts as a tool to evaluate the relevance between higher education and the world of work, it can provide useful input for lecturer and administrator to improved performance, as well as give feedback to parents in monitoring their children's education ( Schomburg, 2006 ). From the analysis and the design that have been successfully fabricated, The Software of Information System of Students and Alumnus Record Traces Based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Automation. Data Collection, with the stages of planning , analysis, design, implementation and testing. The system is constructed to provide information to the University and alumnus as well as students either acquire phase, enhance, and retain with different features are tailored to the results of the analysis.

Abstract

Method of Rule-Based Reasoning is one of the methods in decision support systems that may have had knowledge base. In this method of solving problems based on an artificial intelligence approach using problem-solving techniques based on the rules contained in the knowledge base that can solve the problem sequentially. With the approach, some rules that have been produced can be re-examined by an expert to be able to be repaired or modified to obtain better results. In addition, this method is also used when needed explanation of traces (steps) in getting an achievement of a solution. Research done is to build a knowledge base representation system using Rule-Based Reasoning. Implementation of the system was built using a desktop-based application.

Abstract

On financial document,the database of money flow is important.  every people need money. that’s why money is main factor for corruptor to do the corruption. most of educational organization used the manual accountancy. but sometimes, the manual accountancy is not accurate. this condition give a chance for corruptor to do their action. means that the real and accurate accountancy are the golden key to manage the financial of a organization and to decrease the corruption case. the easy way to get the accurate accountancy is using bank help. by had a deal and using the modern tools fro, bank, the owner of organization doesn’t worry about their financial.

Abstract

PSTN phone is static. However, with the development of Android based device, wireless computer network and minimum system, it is possible to make a PSTN phone mobile. To add the mobility behavior in PSTN phone, a research to develop Android based PSTN phone is needed. Android based device will act as a remote control for the PSTN phone and can be used to make and accept a call from distance.This paper elaborates the Android based PSTN phone design. To test the system performance, two parts of testing are performed. First is testing the Android based PSTN phone remote control system and second is testing the digital voice streaming system between Android device and minimum system using UDP protocol over wireless computer network. PSTN phone remote control system is tested for its functionality while digital voice streaming system is tested for its quality by giving a sinusoidal signal to the system and comparing the input signal with output signal using oscilloscope.According to the test, Android based PSTN phone prototype is able to make a connection and disconnection of Android device (as client) with microcontroller (as server), make a connection with auto server discovery system, make a call, receive a call, and use redial and hold functions with 100% success rate in certain condition. However, it is shown that the quality of voice sent from Android phone to Arduino module is poor due to the limited size of buffer in Arduino, but on the other way around the quality of voice sent from Arduino to Android phone is good.

Abstract

To improve the ability, power changes (performance) of a motor used for racing most mechanics do modifications to the cylinder volume. When the motor cylinder enlarged, the enlarged combustion volume, so that automatically will increase the compression ratio and compression pressure effect on the combustion pressure rise as well, in order to obtain great power. Bore up is a way to increase the volume of the contents of the cylinder, using a piston that has a larger diameter than the standard. So that the cylinder and piston are enlarged, the fuel and air for combustion in the engine can be more obtainable with high compression ratio that produces greater energy (torque) and a higher engine speed (rpm). In the discussion of this study the author discusses the influence of bore up the engine on the motorcycle supra x-cylinder 125 cc of cylinder diameter 52.4 mm to 54 mm, the things that need to be reviewed in this discussion include: Changes in power (performance), changes in torque before and after the engine in the bore up.

Abstract

Rapid urbanization has been a critical issue to urban environments.  The immediate and most critical urban environment problems faced by several cities, such as Jakarta and Surabaya, are drinking water, sanitation, traffic and industrial pollution, land degradation, and traffic congestion.  It is believed that New Urbanism is thought to be an alternative approach to address the above issues.  This paper also discusses the physical and social character of two settlement i.e. housing estate and traditional village.  The comparative analysis will be discussed further by using case studies.  Consequently the issues on New Urbanism will be related to the other aspect of new development in the future.
