Abstract

Electricity is one of the primary needs of human life that needed an efficient power plant. Power microhydro (MHP) is an alternative source of electrical energy for the community. MHP provides many advantages, especially for rural communities throughout Indonesia. While other energy thinning and a negative impact, then the water becomes a very important energy source because it can be used as a source of cheap energy power plants and does not cause pollution.This study aims to provide information to the Community, especially Hamlet KedondongRame that the availability of the potential provided by nature can be used as a source of electric power. This research was conducted by analyzing the feasibility of the River Kalimaja as micro hydro power plant which includes the water flow, the height waterfall and accuracy in the use of turbine type.Selection of the type of turbine used is influenced by the high discharge and falling water. Abstract

The use of motorcycles, power wheels is important, because the wheels is one part of the vehicle that receives the voltage and load is quite high. The road surface may result in stress and deformation in the casting wheel andspokewheel.Coupled with the speed of the riders who willinfluence the price impact of the cast wheel and spokewheel.Rims types of cast wheel and spoke wheel take the road within 0 hours, 2 hours, 4 hours. Having both types of motorcycle wheels are brought walked, then will be cutting the specimen in order to do impact testing. Testing here will know the impact of energy produced from these two types of alloy wheels. Each specimen specimens will be tested the impact will have a different impact prices, as influenced by the temperature at the spinning wheel and will affect the temperature of the wheels are mounted on the motorcycle used. Impact test results obtained from the difference in price impact of both types of wheels under the influence of the length of time running from the second wheel.

Abstract

Traffic congestion is a major problem in the transportation system. Based Data Transport Statistics 2013 & 2014 are sourced from Statistics Indonesia (BPS Catalog: 8301007) cite an increase in the number of vehicles is high at 10.39 per cent per year on all types of vehicles. Coupled with the specific transportation community awareness so that adds a level of congestion becomes worse. Signs and traffic lights play an important role in regulating the traffic lane so that the public transport can be wise in using the road, especially in the port city of Lampung.

Abstract

Lately, other than as a means of transportation, motorcycles are also used for the competition performance. Methods breathing cylinder head into a simple matter to change the volume of the combustion chamber in order to increase the compression ratio. The method used is the method of experiments conducted in the laboratory. Where use 110cc Honda Beat motorcycle and premium fuels and pertalite, as well as the use of standard and modified cylinder head to determine the impact on its performance. Research carried out by using a dynamometer (dynotest) to determine the maximum power and maximum torque on a motorcycle. The results showed that the cylinder head testing using standard with premium fuel produces maximum power of 4.67 HP at rotation of 6500 rpm and maximum torque of 4.70 ft.lbs round of 4500 rpm, while the power gained 5.24 pertalite HP round 6750 rpm and a torque of 5.19 ft.lbs at 4700 rpm rotation. And testing using a modifiedcylinder head with premium fuel maximum power obtainable by 5.32 HP and a maximum torque of 4.40 ft.lbs, while pertalite obtained power of 6.34 HP and a torque of 5.17 ft.lbs

Abstract

The issue of transportation in various forms is one of the main problems faced by the world's cities, including cities in Indonesia. Growth in the vehicle, increasing the intensity of the traffic of goods andservices as well as increased user population associated disproportionate availability of roads and supporting facilities resulted in a wide range of crucial issues. Traffic congestion is one of the mainproblems in the transportation system. Coupled with the specific transportation community awareness so that adds a level of congestion becomes worse. Signs and traffic lights play an important role inregulating the traffic lane so that the public transport can be wise in using the road, especially in city traffic Bandar Lampung (according to Law no. 22/2009 on Traffic and Transportation: tool signalingtraffic or APILL) are lights that control traffic flow that is attached at a crossroads, pedestrian crossings (zebra crossing), and the flow of other traffic. In this issue resolve conducted a study oftraffic lights (trafficlight) that exist today. With the aim to build a traffic light system which only uses LED panel (Light Emitting Diode). Where to control the color and symbol lights can be setautomatically using a microcontroller to change color, and in complete text runs to update the traffic so that traffic lights easier to understand and informative. For that I am interested to analyze theworkings of Led Panel Schematic, such as what and how.

Abstract

Twitter became one of the popular social media in cyberspace. Twitter can be used as a means of disseminating information in their status, this is an opportunity for the parties to disseminate information. This study aims to classify the status of which contain information congestion on Twitter. This study focused on the information content congestion tweet on Twitter. Classification algorithm used is Naive Bayes classifier and K Nearest Neighbor classification model that produces information-based decision trees and rules. This research will prove Classification is done with Twitter data method, Naive Bayes classifier and K-Nearest Neighbor to classify tweets containing information on traffic congestion in Bandar Lampung

Abstract

Urban transport is single-handedly responsible for emitting approximately around one fourth of global carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Therefore by improving the development of non-motorized transport modes, the emission could be substantially decreased. The non-motorized transport modes are often referred as low carbon transport mode as they emit zero to low level of carbon. Cycling and walking are the most popular form of low carbon transport with the later often receives less attention in conventional urban development. On previous studies, authors identified key-elements of Pedestrian Profile, Pedestrian Activity, and Pedestrian Environment which are being introduced by authors as its abbreviation, PL.AC.E. Authors designed a comprehensive questionnaire based on the framework as the tool for data collection and then analyzed it using statistical procedures. This method aimed to identify the propensity of each key-attribute in order to understand the characteristic of each key-attribute. On this study authors focused on analyzing the key element of Pedestrian Environment and utilized the evaluation method with the case study of the city of Bandar Lampung in Indonesia. The questionnaire was distributed to 189 respondents directly and via online form. Based on the propensity of the responses, authors concluded that the case study area represented a rather low level of service of the environment for pedestrian specifically of its walking facility

Abstract

Solar energy is a renewable energy source whose availability is unlimited. To get the electrical energy coming from the sun is required solar panels so that the energy from the sun can turn into electrical energy, Solar technology, also known as photovoltaic (pv) formed in a solar module is formed of a semiconductor material. Semiconductor materials are capable of conducting electric current when there is kinetic energy that drives the electron particles in it to the conduction band. In this case sunlight contains electromagneticwaves or photon energy which is capable of producing kinetic energy to release electron bonds in the semiconductor causing an electric current. This paper describe design and implementing of photovoltaic for solar home system.

Abstract

The development of material for concrete has advanced rapidly and many alternative aggregate as base material for concrete has found to reduce the natural aggregate that has been took from stone mining, such as recycled aggregate, ALWA (Artificial Lightweight Aggregates), glass as aggregate, and other material that can replace aggregate in the concrete. Those aggregate alternative aim to reduce the using of natural aggregate. This paper only explain recycle aggregate. The name of concrete that is made from recycle aggregate (RA) is called Recycle Concrete Aggregate (RCA). The experimental of RCA in the mix design of concrete that made from recycle concrete has been done to find out the formula of compressive strength design of concrete mix design. The sample has been made more than 100 cylinder specimens that three specimens for each strength. The variation of recycle aggregate is made from variation of normal concrete strength that is made for 25, 30, 40, 50, 65, 70 and 80 MPa and the variation of percentage of recycle aggregate contain is 50 and 100%. Base on the experiment result the strength of RCA is decrease the compressive strength from the natural concrete. The decreasing of normal compressive strength is about 20 to 25% under the original compressive strength of concrete and about 26 to 35% for high strength concrete.
