Abstract

Pedestrians are part of the transportation system is no less important than other modes of transportation. Although the act of walking legs look very simple, but it plays an important role in the transport system, because if the impaired pedestrians will affect other parts of the transportation system. Objective analysis of the pedestrians along the road Kartini is to determine the characteristics of pedestrians; seek equality relationship between walking speed, as well as determine the appropriate crossing facilities with pedestrian characteristics. This study analyzes the suitability and effectiveness of the use of level crossings in terms of facilities: traffic volume (V), Volume waders (P), Degree of Saturation (DS), the average traffic Speed, Time Headway, the pass percentage of pedestrian crossing facilities, the comparison between the speed of the vehicle with pedestrian volumes and pedestrian behavior analysis. The suitability of the facility Kartini street crossings diruas calculated based PV2, DS, average Speed, Time Headwaysehingga obtained values: P = 78 people / hour, SD = 0.60, mean velocity = 40.3488 km / h, and a small headwaykendaraan time (LV) vehicles and motorcycles (MC) has a value of time headway of <2.5 seconds which describes the condition of high density, so that at the study site at the Kartini Bandar Lampung according to the requirements and are pelican crossings in accordance with the protector. Of regression and correlation analysis shows the location of Bandar Lampung Kartini road traffic volume did not affect the percentage of pedestrian road as seen from R2 = 0.002, which means the relationship between the volume of pedestrian traffic with only 0.2% indicating a relationship classified as very low. Pelican crossing facilities with protective shield recommended to use the island has given the signal light Kartini Bandar Lampung is a one way street with four lanes.

Abstract

Prospectus population growth in urban areas is growing rapidly due to the process of human activity, in conjunction with an increase in their subsistence efforts. The most important point that is on the rise residential transportation occurs. Housing is a basic need that must be met in addition to food and clothing, housing placement for the residents of the area will stimulate the movement patterns of the population as well as being the dominant factor will cause a rise of transport traffic on the road network in its path. Those factors that arise due to the influence of family characteristics such as the number of households, number of family members, family members aged> 7 years, work, school, income, vehicle ownership. If this is not observed and handled in particular will result in a level of service characterized by decreased traffic congestion, air pollution, traffic violations, ethical decline in travel, especially economically unprofitable. Therefore, the problems and the further development of the Area Housing Way Kandis Bandar Lampung to improve services in the emerging field of transport, traveling population of 694.71 Total Trip / day may affect the occurrence of traffic jams on the main door Jl. Ratu Dibalau Toward By Pass (towards T.Karang) of 47.87%, 23.53% passed Jl. Ratu Dibalau Toward By Pass (right Rajabasa), 16.63% passed Jl. Damar Island towards Sukarame (two- lane way halim), 7.91% pass through Jl. Damar Island to Teak Mulyo (direction metro) and 4.06% across Jl. Damar Island towards Sukarame (left Panjang). The number of trips that occur depending on the activities of people doing activities with different interests, calculations done indirectly because of the difficulty of calculating the movement or travel. Indirect calculations using an analytical model that results can be close to reality, traffic generation model is caused by the movement of the Perum Way Kandis Bandar Lampung is Y = 2.775 to 0.135 X1-0, 098 +0.179 X2 +0.035 X3 +0.094 X4 +0.120 X5 X6 +0.043 X7, from the equation that the effect on the character of the family who have aged> 7 years at 96.63%. To get an idea of traffic fluctuations that occur, enumeration traffic (Traffic Counting), the exit 3 for 2 (two) days, ie Wednesday that representing the working day and day of the week that represents a holiday. The calculation is performed on traffic coming out of the Housing Kandis Way Bandar Lampung, counting results showed peak time occurred in the morning at 07:00 to 8:00 and in the afternoon at 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and holidays at 08:00 to 9:30 pm.

Abstract

With the expansion of global trade, computerization and communications, plain language descriptions of products and services need to be replaced by identification and product tracing systems that are usable in all trade and industry sectors worldwide. Product traceability is the process of maintaining records of all materials and parts from purchasing to finished goods where a unique number identify a part, batch, or a finished product.Traceability provides the ability to identify and track a product or a component to its point of origin. The point of origin may be a particular lot or batch, production line and time frame, field, or supplier. Product traceability is very important to reliability. If a particular lot of a critical component is found to be defective after being used in product that is already sold, traceability provides a means of identifying the units for recall. Some products (e.g. aircraft components, fresh produce, meat) require complete traceability. Here are some of the benefits and solutions provided with product identification and tracing: Procedures for identifying and tracing the product during all stages of production, delivery & installation; Requires knowing what parts comprise the product, their specification, their status, etc; Requires knowing the exact content of products that have been delivered to each customer so that the right customer service can be provided; Helps to satisfy “Process Control”.In this paper we are going to accent on EAN UCC numbering system where EAN stands for European Article Numbering and UCC stands for Uniform Code Council. EAN/UCC numbers provide unique and unambiguous identification for worldwide recognition and can improve the efficiency and exchanging information between supply chain participants.Parts Traceability Information System used by PT. Mecoin do to record a part-part starting from the arrival until assembled into products used by each part will kWh meter. So that in a product can be traced GRS kWh meter that is used by each part. As for the concept of the approach taken is an object-oriented approach is to view the problem by using a model - a model that is organized (which combines the issues surrounding the concept of data structure and behavior of an entity). In this approach, the software organization is a collection of discrete objects that work together, communicate and interact to a certain target.

Abstract

As one of alternative source of renewable energy, wind energy has an excellence prospect in Indonesia, particularly in coastal and hilly areas that has potential wind to generate electricity for residential use. There is urgent need to locally develop the low cost inverter of wind generator system for residential use. Recent developments of power electronic converters and embedded computing allow improvement of power electronic converter devices that enable integration of microcontrollers in its design. In this project, an inverter circuit with suitable control scheme design was developed. The circuit was to be used with a selected topology of Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) to convert electricity generated by 500W direct-drive permanent magnet type wind generator which is typical for residential use. From single phase AC output of the generator, rectifier circuit is designed to convert AC to DC voltage. Then DC-DC boost converter was used to step up the voltage to a nominal DC voltage suitable for domestic use. The proposed inverter then will convert the DC voltage to sinusoidal AC. The duty cycle of sinusoidal Pulse-Width Modulated (SPWM) signal controlling switches in the inverter was generated by a microcontroller. The lab-scale experimental rig involves simulation wind of wind generator by running geared DC motor coupled with 500W wind generator where the prototype circuit was connected at generator output. Experimental circuit produced output voltage single phase 240V sinusoidal AC voltage with frequency of 50Hz. Measured total harmonics distortion (THD) of the voltage across load was 4.0% which is within limit of 5% as recommended by IEEE Standard 519-1992.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the behavior of structural elements of precast reinforced concrete beams which are connected with wet and dry connections. Specimen used was 30 MPareinforced concrete beams with 6 pieces of 8 mm diameter main reinforcement which are placed on two rollers at the joint pedestal of each end and has a rectangular cross section of prismatic 10x18 cm2. Wet connection is a connection that uses a polymer concrete material of 40 MPa with a grafting method using prepacked method. The result of the research is expected to contribute to the development of precast concrete in buildingconstruction in Indonesia. In the elastic condition, the beam monolith has the largest natural frequency of the value, but a wet connection beam has a low natural frequency value. The difference of this natural frequency value also equal to the condition of crack and ultimit.
