Abstract

A complexity growing enterprise make the management in a bigger demanding to the IS function. They need access to the data anytime and anywhere easily, accurately and consistently in all departments. IS is encouraged to get the changes of business condition faster, and can act the data sharing within every department. The problem in using the support from IT, the investment for the IT and Information System (IS) are often in a wrong direction and decreasing of the strategy in IT and IS are often different from the enterprise business strategy. It is happened because the development of the IS, done without making the enterprise blue print first as the foundation for the development of the IS. So with the complexity of the enterprise development forces the enterprise to make continue customization to the building IS which of course need much financial support. IS duplication, no IS integration among them, and the difference platform among every IS; also become the failure factor an enterprise to get the optimal benefit from the using of IT and IS. Because of that, a blue print from the enterprise becomes something very important to be built as a foundation of the using IT and IS. The development architecture can be done in the beginning enterprise was shaped or even in the time where the enterprise is being run. Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) is a modern approach to do the planning for the data quality to achieve the IS mission. EAP is also a process of definition of some architecture such as data architecture, application architecture in using the information to support the business. The blue print, resulted together with EAP then can be used as the foundation in the IS development, by this we hope the IS which has been build can be adjusted with business strategy from the office of PPTSP so that the mission can be achieved from this publik services.

Abstract

Downstream part of the watershed is an area of lowland Sekampung with +3.00 to +4.00 elevation above sea level. Area located between the border regions of South Lampung regency and East Lampung. Originally this area was flooded reservoir area, the Swamp Sragi and surrounding areas, but along with the development of this area is used as a residential area, pertaniandan pond area for the people around the area. Padatahun 2002 River Way Sekampung experience overflow caused flooding in downstream areas which suffered losses of up to 38 billion rupiahIn this study analyzed the incidence of flooding that may occur based on rainfall data available. Based on the results of the input stream and cross sectional design flood discharge is seen that when the flood began when the river reaches flood discharge Q50-year anniversary. In this study flood control analysis performed on the three methods are: the construction of levees, making retention ponds and dredge rivers. The third input method results in HEC RAS 3.1.3 shows that building levees to reduce flooding by 32%, on a flood retention pond can be reduced up to 45% and normalization of the river is only able to reduce flooding by 20%. Most effective flood management recommendation is to build two retention ponds and technical cost reduction by flooding.

Abstract

Water is the source of life and take on an important role in supporting human activities. Form of the problems faced in the utilization of water resources management in general is a problem right way so that at the optimum can result from existing resources. Efforts should be made to overcome these problems by taking into account the constraints faced, the negative impacts and completion is expected to be effective and efficient.Among the various alternatives, the research to optimize the utilization of the water dam Batutegi an option. Linear program is one form of optimization techniques. The objective function is to maximize the amount of water that can be supplied for irrigation. The problem is the availability of water in the dam Batutegi. Completion of this optimization problem using QM For Windows software.Efficiency optimization results are outflows of 2:05 m3/sec in the first growing season, 1:19 m3/sec in the second growing season and the addition of irrigated area of 1,100 ha in the first growing season, 512 ha in the second growing season.

Abstract

Loss documents and the high cost of document storage space are a major problem often faced by many organizations at this company, especially for those who have large amounts of paper documents. Therefore, we need a proper solution with the help of information technology known as the Document Management System. With this system, the paper documents are converted in digital form and stored in a disk or other digital storage facility (paperless).Furthermore to the search, discovery, display, printing, distribution and even documents can be done virtually through computer networks. Security policy can also be applied strictly in the management of these documents, so the only party entitled to can access the document according to its designation. Protection against the document is done digitally, so that relatively more secure and easier to use.Document Management System based on Paperless are effective and useful in an office to streamline in the process of documentation. The main benefit is that users can find needed information quickly, so it can help the process become faster, better, cheaper, and reduce environmental impacts (Green Computing). In this system of administration are routine operations performed by each individual in an organization or office activities.Technology and administration without paper is the efficiency in the use of paper, especially in terms of paperwork and correspondence in order to achieve certain objectives in managing the administrative management system or the idea of a paperless office. This paper present a paperless model for the university management system. A survey has been conducted that enlisted some fundamental characteristics required to implement successful paperless environment.

Abstract

Beam is an structural element whose main function to carry external load in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the beam. Theoretically, it is assumed when the concrete starts to crack the tension in the concrete can be neglected. Bending moment at the cross section at the location of the crack is carried by a pair of coupled forces; compressive force happens in the compressive zone above the neutral line and the tension force happens in the tension zone below the neutral line. In this kind of flexural respons, it seems that the middle part of the cross section in the vicinity of the neutral line does not have to carry any stress. This Fact gives the idea to combine normal concrete and light weight concrete in a sandwich structure. The main intention of this investigation is to conduct an experimental study on the flexural behavior of three layer concrete sandwich beam. The central layer is made of light weight concrete with compressive strength of 30 MPa. The center layer is sandwiched between two outer layer made of normal concrete with compressive strength 50 MPa. The test was conducted on four beams speciments with dimensions of 2100 mm in length, 100 mm width and depth of 200 mm. Flexural beam subjected to static and cyclic load. Observation on load-deflection curves show that flexural strength capacity is determined by the loading systems, the contact conditions of the interfaces in composite system due to the use and the material properties of connectors in the middle part of the concrete beams.

Abstract

Earthquakes are unpredictable when it comes so anticipation is needed as early as possible. One way to anticipate earthquakes is to design buildings or houses that are resistant to earthquakes. After a small earthquake, the building must still be able to fully functional within a short time and repairing costs are not expensive. After a medium earthquake, the building can function again after repairing and strengthening of the main parts of the structure is completed. Meanwhile, after a major earthquake, the building may no longer can be used but the occupants of the building can be saved and the items inside the building can be protected. Any additional security value of a house requires adequate additional cost. Security value is not simply a house that is free from thieves, but natural disturbances such as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and others. But all of those values are fair price for the security and comfort.
