Abstract

Generally the condition of roads at transmigration area in Rokan Hulu is still not on the asphalt, which indirectly this will affect accessibility to this area. This thing will make problems for road users, particularly related to vehicle operating cost.In this study, the researcher create a model of vehicle operating costs, especially for trucks. Where the vehicle is used by local residents for transporting farm crops in this area is to be brought to the factory. This model is influenced by the independent variable speed trucks.From the results obtained by the analysis of vehicle operating cost model trucks: fuel consumption model Y = 7,68E-6 V3 – 0,001 V2 + 0,032 V – 1,35 with R2 = 0.728 and the value of F = 5.361, lubricating oil consumption model Y = 4,62E-7 V3 – 5,6E-5 V2 + 0,002 V – 0,12 with R2 = 0.689 and the value of F = 4.431 and tire usage model Y = 5.46E-7 V + 9.72E-5 with a value of R2 value = 0.423 and F = 5.876

Abstract

The process count and stage a series of meridians on the work of geodetic data processing (mapping). The process is expected to have rigorous criteria, fast, and easy, both in data entry, calculation, data repair, and printing the results. . Pack with Microsoft Exel provides easiness that required by a process of calculation. This package can be used for data entry, calculation, and the improvement of data at once in one worksheet, with a format that can be customized. Likewise, if desired, printing the results can be obtained from the worksheet. In this paper are presented the way we use Exel spreadsheets to count how Bowditch closed polygon coordinates.

Abstract

Motor diesel is growing rapidly now, and have a better performance, technology and construction machinery has undergone innovation - innovation that spectacular, fuel system, air intake systems and other systems, which can support the engine performance is also experiencing a very recent innovation. Diesel engines are usually called compression ignition engine (compression ignition engines), how ignition fuel is done by spraying fuel into the air that has been pressurized and high temperature. Currently diesel engine with a small total volume produce big power, is none other than the already wide use of the turbo charger to add the intake air pressure and increase the effective pressure, increased air temperature in the cylinder so the engine power increased by approximately 25% compared to engines without turbo chargers . Turbo Charger driven by exhaust gases from combustion, where the turbo charger has two main components of the turbine wheel, made of heat-resistant cast metal and compressor wheels, made of aluminum alloy in rollers and then done.

Abstract

In few years later, in town call Ujungbatu, becak motor rising in number because of there is no other transportation service, along with increasing the demand of transport service. But, the becak motor rate determined by the operator, is not consider of the user. That this study analize the Willingness To Pay (WTP) the user of becak motor. Data survey token at Kelurahan Ujungbatu Kota and Kelurahan Suka Damai, in Kecamatan Ujungbatu. With Questioner Home Interview Survey Method. The number of samples based on statistical analysis of the adequacy of the data length parameter in the study area trip. The analys Metode of WTP used perseption approach of becak motor user. From the analysis result, obtained that the interval value of WTP becak motor user about Rp. 3.000,00 – Rp. 4.000,00 per-trip.

Abstract

Air pollution that was caused by motorized vehicle, which came from the emission of the vehicle, has produced bad impact on human health. This study has objectives to study the effect of the application of air pollution control device, whice was equipped with fiber optic, glass wool and active carbon, to emission of diesel motor vehicles. That control device was place on Mitsubishi Colt Diesel PS 100 car.The results of this study has indicated that air pollution control device that used fiber optic, glas wooll and active carbon component had the best performance to absorb Diesel motor vehicle’s emission. It could be seen by the reduction of O2 value, the reduction of CO2 value and smoke, whereas HC was not performed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the effect of component geometry pipeline and the pipe roughness on the performance of the pump and the pressure drop caused, then perform simulations to determine the fluid flow losses in pipe flow by using computational fluid dynamics program FLUENT 6.0 program package.Methods and objects used in this study is a series of piping by using various types of piping components. Installation tool is a Loss-Loss Test Equipment Flow Laboratory located in Pekanbaru STTP.From the results of tests performed in an actual magnitude of the resulting gas flow without doing the loading, when it is connected to the pipe line 1 maximum of 29 l / min at 2812 rpm rotation pump, and when connected to the pipe line 2 flow rate 35 l / min with the rotary pump 2849 rpm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the magnitude of the compressive strength of concrete by using a fine aggregate from various quarry by using SK SNI and weight ratio mixture of 1:2:3.The results showed that the maximum value of Compressive strength of concrete mixture from various quarry aggregate by using the standard SK SNI obtained at the quarry lake Bingkuang concrete at the age of 28 days at 20.94 MPa. Strong hit a maximum value of mixing concrete from various quarry aggregate by a mixture of 1:2:3 ratio was also obtained on the quarry lake Bingkuang at 28 days amounting to 21.04 MPa.From a variety of fine aggregate quarry lakes tested were Bingkuang with 1:2:3 mixture has better quality than the other quarry, the difference in two ways is not too significant because the difference in compressive strength value of 0.5% only. The best Quarry of fine aggregate is from Bingkuang Lake area, but in general all good quarry used to mix concrete, because they meet the standards of SK SNI.

Abstract

Proyek pembangunan jalan tol adalah proyek infrastruktur yang memiliki karakter sensitif dan rentan terhadap risiko (risk) dan ketidakpastian (uncertain). Selain itu, dari perspektif bisnis, proyek pembangunan jalan tol memerlukan dana yang sangat besar (high capital outlays) dengan masa pengembalian investasi yang panjang (long-term investment). Oleh karenanya, keputusan investasi modal pada pengusahaan jalan tol adalah keputusan yang tergolong sangat strategis sehingga memerlukan kajian dan analisa yang komprehensif, serta pertimbangan yang rasional dan akurat. Kajian, analisis, dan pertimbangan tersebut diperlukan sejak tahap awal penilaian proyek (project appraisal) sampai pada tahap ketika keputusan investasi akan diambil.Beberapa variabel yang dianggap berisiko dalam pembangunan jalan tol adalah 1) inflasi, 2) SBI, 3) JIBOR, 4) volume lalulintas pada awal masa operasional, 5) biaya operasional dan pemeliharaan, 6) biaya pembebasan lahan, dan 7) biaya konstruksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap variabel berisiko pada rencana pembangunan ruas tol Kandis – Dumai melalui pendekatan deterministik dan stokastik menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang sangat sensiitif dan berpengaruh secara berturut-turut adalah : Sertifikat Bank Indonesia (SBI), Jakarta Interbank Offer Rate (JIBOR), dan volume kendaraan Golongan III, IV, dan V.

Abstract

Transportation issues in Simpang Kumu is still public transports pick and drop passengers aroun the crossroad. This occurs both in the Muara Rumbai roads as well as on the Tuankau Tambusai road. This condition will certainly disrupt the smooth flow of traffic around the crossroad, especially related to the safety of road users. To overcome this problem needs to conducted an analysis of this crossroad, the crossroad capacity is still below the limit of tolerance is allowed or has passed the legal limit.The method used in this research is survey method, namely by placing the surveyors for each arm of the crossroad. Survey carried out at peak hours with an interval of time every five minutes. Task surveyors noted the number of vehicles entering the crossroad of the arms such as motorcycles, passenger cars and trucks on the paper survey forms. From the data obtained and analyzed primarily associated with the crossroad of performance such as capacity, delay and probability of the queue. Simpang Kumu performance analysis carried out on existing and forecast conditions in 2013.

Abstract

The filler is difficult to get it in nature, hence to get it always use filler from fine aggregate and medium aggregate, cement and lime. Minus filler in HRS-WC caused bleeding. Filler characteristic have much space surface in unit and can absorbed asphalt bitumen and decrease void. Fly ash is the fine particulate matter (filler) which is prepitated from the stack of pulverized coal-wood fired boiler at electrical power generating plants PT. RAPP. The primary benefits of using fly ash are (1) environmental incentives becaused material used does not have to be wasted (2) cost saving, becaused fly ash is typically cheaper than cement and lime, and (3) availability, because fly ash sources are distributed geographically across the state.HRS-WC is a high durability HMA, it have more than asphalt bitumen and filler. Asphalt bitumen increase bitumen film thickness and filler increase void. Research activities are underway to investigate more effective and efficient ways of adding fly ash at the HMA production site. This research with 60 total sample specimen of HMA, variation of fly ash are 0 %, 6 % ; 10 % and 12 % and variation of bitumen are 5 %, 5,5 %, 6 %, 6,5 % and 7 %.
