Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country that has two seasons, dry and rainy seasons, Rokan Hulu is one of the districts in Riau province in the Republic of Indonesia and has a college is the University of sand pengaraian, rector building a two-story office building is on one floor / base comprises ten non psrtisi room, second floor consists of five non- partition space. which is the hottest month for all of Indonesia at the month of May, in the average temperature of 350C outdoors and indoors can reach 300C, in the comfort of working in the room can make people hot and uncomfortable, in the heat load the room is very high, we need to analyze the initial heat load in the room prior to the installation of the engine air refresher. Analysis of heat load is a load that needs dialkukan perimeter latent hea, heat load the interior regio, and the burden of latent heat from the outside air to enter.

Abstract

In the measurement process on a machine tool alignment required an alignment as the reference standard.In this case the rod straightener is a measurement tool that is commonly used in metrology laboratories. Inplanning and the alignment rod calibration followed standard JIS B7514, which is described in the standardspecification of the alignment rod which include dimensions, quality and tolerance limits. From the results ofthe calibration are performed on the alignment rod has a classification according to JIS B7514 standardclass (grade) B. Thus the alignment rod can only be used for testing machine tools with high level ofaccuracy that is not high (conventional).

Abstract

This study took place at Pasar Modern Pasir Pengaraian, the aim to determine characteristics which include parking accumulation, the volume of vehicle parking, parking duration, parking index and turnover of parking. The survey grouped on weekdays and holidays. The data obtained in the form of data registration numbers of vehicles consisting of a vehicle type cars (sedans, jeeps and pick-ups) and motorcycles.The result showed the maximum parking accumulation for motorcycles as many as 155 vehicles at a time interval 10:00 to 11:00 am, while on the car as much as 30 vehicles on the time interval 10:00 to 11:00 am. The majority of parking duration between 5-6 Hours. The maximum turnover rate for car parking occurs on a holiday at the clock 09:00 to 10:00 am for the motorcycle while going on holiday at 8:00 to 9:00am. Car parking for a maximum index of 21.429% on holiday while on the motorcycle of 55.537% on holidays. The amount of parking index value indicates that the parking capacity of Pasar Modern Pasir Pengaraian still able to accommodate parking demand that occurs at this time

Public transport tariff by the Government must consider two conflicting sides of the implementationof the public transport. For users who use public transport to facilities meeting the needs of the derivativewith a cheaper rate expectations. The other hand, as a provider of freight services provider for-profit. Thisstudy aims to know patterns public transport fares (superben) current. Abstract

The ability to use with any incident radiation source makes this technique as an alternative way tostudy the absorption, scattering, molecular excitations, vibrations and defects in cancer cell tissue. Thispaper investigates the skin cancer cell tissue optical absorption in a range of infrared spectroscopy which isone of the main physical phenomena to effect on the phonon-photon radiation propagation from laserinduced photo-acoustic source. The main constituents of cancer cell tissue which contribute towardsabsorption in the near infrared are water, fat and hemoglobin. While the former two remain fairly constantover short time-scales, the concentrations of oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin change according tothe function and metabolism of the cancer cell tissue. Thus the corresponding changes in cancer cell tissueoptical absorption can provide clinically useful physiological information.

Abstract

The main purpose of this research is doing a review of inpipe energy loss using a laboratory-scalephysical model approach to establish the graphic of relation pattern between friction factor (f) toReynoldsNumbers (Re) and also the graphic of relation pattern between pressure height (h) to the stream’svelocity (v).This research used a laboratory-scale physical model approach. The instrument used wasPipeFrictionApparatus which equipped withHydraulicBenchmade by ArmfieldInc., USA in 2006.The main resultproved that the amount of in-pipe energy loss (hf) was highly influenced by the friction coefficientparameter (f), pipe diameter (D), pipe length (L) and also the velocity of in-pipe stream (v). The secondaryresult showed the type of stream in this laboratory-scale research was a turbulence one.

Measurement of deflection caused by traffic loads can be connected to the pavement thicknessrequirements. Abstract

When the supply of electricity in a hotel is off or at a local electricity grid is not able to distribute to thehotel, the hotel shall provide its own power supply using a generator driven by a Diesel Engine. Motor dieselis the motor that is also called Compression Ignition ("Compression - Ignition engine"). Diesel generator asa driver that is in use at Hotel Sapadia Type Cummins Diesel Engine NTA 855 A. are very susceptible tomalfunction, which causes many malfunctions caused by human error, the age factor, system maintenance,and operation of the tool. Abstract

The studies on the determination of strain rate on the consolidation method of CRS test has been done on clayhave different plasticity. Beside that, the CRS method to study consolidation of clay with organic content of 45%organic content has also been done. Until now it has never done studies use CRS method for fibrous peat soil in whichthe fibrous peat soil organic matter content of more than 75%. Therefore, in applying the study attempted to test theconsolidation method of CRS on fibrous peat soil. Issues discussed in this study is how the rate of change of the voidratio compression behavior of fibrous peat soil on consolidation test method of constant strain rate.For this study, the undisturbed soil sample was taken from the Tropical Peat Research Center, at Pekantua village,Riau province. The void ratio exchange rate chosen for for the constant rate of strain consolidation test method was0,4; 0,2; 0,05; 0,02 and 0,01 per menit.
