For optical lens manufacturing the development of product and service quality is a key thing in answering challenges in the business competition it is developing. To achieve this determine the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), the Rejected Rate and On-Time Delivery (OTD) to measure the extent of the performance that has been achieved and how to develop it, shape the work culture of Kaizen which commits to continuous improvement and value chain analysis largely determine the process of developing production and service quality. The Kaizen culture and value chain applied in achieving the KPI target in this study succeeded in reducing the KPI Rejected Rate by 0. 46% and raise OTD by 2. 22%. The method used in this study uses a review of literature studies, observations, and direct interviews of the plant manager of one of the largest optical lenses manufacturers in Indonesia using data comparisons in 2018 and 2020

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of organizational leadership and organizational effectiveness on work motivation and organizational commitment of teachers. This research was conducted at a private high school in Rawamangun Village, Pulo Gadung Subdistrict, East Jakarta. In this study using a saturated sample technique that is the entire population used as a sample, namely 115 respondents. The Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was chosen as a statistical analysis technique. The results showed that the effectiveness of leadership and organizational trust had a direct positive effect on work motivation. The effectiveness of organizational leadership and trust has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment. Leadership effectiveness has a direct positive effect on organizational trust and work motivation has a direct positive effect on organizational commitment. The output of this research is that it can provide input for the school in determining policies specifically in determining the position requirements or the recruitment of school principals so that it is expected to increase the confidence, work motivation and commitment of teachers in school organizations.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi terhadap persepsi suatu negara, memori Otobiografi (AM), ikatan emosional (EB), dan niat berkunjung. Ingin diketahui  pengaruh langsung maupun tidak langsung dari ke lima variabel tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel 300 responden pada beberapa perusahaan Tour and Travel yang berlokasi di Tangerang, menggunakan 7 hipotesis dan menggunakan analisis jalur pada  progran SPSS, untuk menentukan mana yang dianggap sebagai pengaruh langsung maupun tak langsung  yang mengarah ke niat untuk berkunjung ke suatu negara.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, promosi dan persepsi suatu negara; promosi dan memori otobiografi; promosi dan ikatan emosional berpengaruh terhadap niat berkunjung. Namun secara parsial, hanya promosi yang berpengaruh terhadap niat berkunjung, baik itu setelah melalui variabel  persepsi suatu negara, memori otobiografi dan ikatan emosional  secara tidak langsung, maupun secara langsung.Melalui penelitian ini  diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi  khususnya bagi sektor pariwisata untuk mengetahui fungsi promosi bagi suatu negara dalam menarik niat berkunjung. Pada sisi lainnya promosi dapat menciptakan EB atau AM yang dapat dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan oleh industri pariwisata. Selanjutnya, pemasar memerlukan pemikiran strategi pemasaran yang tepat untuk menciptakan sebuah ikatan emosional yang kuat bagi pengunjung pada suatu Negara. Kata kunci:  promosi, persepsi, memory otobiografi, ikatan emosional dan niat berkunjung AbstractThis study was intended to understand the influence of promotion on the perception of a country, authobiographic memory (AM), emotional ties (EB), and the intention to visit. It was to understand the direct and indirect of those five variables. The study was conducted by using 300 respondents at some Tour and Travel agents located in Tangerang, with seven hypotheses using the SPSS Path Diagram analysis to determine which ones would be considered as directly or indirectly influencing in their intentional decision to visit a country.The research results show that simultaneously promotion and perception of a country, promotion and authobiographic memory, promotion and emotional ties were found to be influencing the visit intemtion. Partially, though, only promotion was found to be influencing it, either through the variable of a country perception, authobiographic memory and emotional ties, directly or indirectly.Through this study it is hoped that this study can reveal information specially related to the tourism sector to understand the function of promotion for a country in attracting the visiting intention. On the other end, promotion can create EB or AM which can be substainably developed by the tourism industry. Sequentially, marketer need to build appropriate strategic marketing thinking to create strong emotional ties for a country’s visitors.Key words: promotion, perception, authobiographic memory, emotional ties and visit intention

Abstract

ABSTRACT Survei Daya Saing, pada dasarnya memotret kabupaten/kota se-Jawa Tengah, dengan enam sub-indeks, yaitu: kinerja ekonomi, persepsi iklim bisnis, dinamika usaha, kapasitas infrastruktur, kinerja pemerintah, dan kinerja investasi. Tujuannya adalah memetakan permasalahan dunia usaha dan investasi di Jateng, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai masukan bagi pemerintah daerah dan para pengusaha untuk meningkatkan kinerja investasi, yang akan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, pengurangan pengangguran dan kemiskinan, dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Responden keseluruhannya berjumlah 2100 orang, terdiri dari 54 pengusaha di 35 kabupaten kota di Jateng (usaha mikro, kecil, menengah, dan besar, dari bidang usaha manufaktur, pelayanan, dan perdagangan), serta 6 orang  dari unsur pemerintah kabupaten/kota. Indikator penilaian didasarkan atas 6 sub-indeks. Data diolah dengan software khusus untuk menghitung indeks dan sub indeks dengan skala  satu sampai sepuluh.  Infrastruktur, Kinerja Investasi, Iklim Bisnis, Kinerja Ekonomi mengalami peningkatan, sedangkan dinamika usaha, kinerja pemerintah mengalami penurunan dibandingkan dengan survei daya saing pada tahun 2010. Peringkat lima besar tiap-tiap survei yang telah dilakukan SDSD 2013: Kabupaten Pekalongan, Kota Magelang, Kabupaten Banyumas, Kabupaten Sragen, dan Kabupaten Wonosobo. Kata Kunci : Survei daya saing, Investasi  ABSTRACT The Competitiveness Survey, basically photographing the districts / cities of Central Java, with six sub-indices, namely: economic performance, business climate perception, business dynamics, infrastructure capacity, government performance, and investment performance. The objective is to map the problems of business and investment in Central Java, so that it can be used as input for local governments and entrepreneurs to improve investment performance, which will encourage economic growth, reduction of unemployment and poverty, and the improvement of people's welfare. Respondents consisted of 54 entrepreneurs in Central Java (micro, small, medium and large enterprises, from manufacturing, service and trade), and respondents from district / city government elements. Infrastructure, Investment Performance, Business Climate, Economic Performance has increased, while business dynamics, government performance has decreased compared to the competitiveness survey in 2010. The top five ranking of each survey has been conducted SDSD 2013: Pekalongan District, Magelang City, Regency Banyumas, Sragen regency, and Wonosobo regency. Keywords : competitiveness survey, investation

Abstract

Abstract Financing or capital structure decision is one of the important decisions in the continuity of operations. Fund companies can be sourced from within and outside the company. And in these capital structure decisions must consider the factors that influence in order to obtain optimal capital structure. This study aimed to investigate the influence and size of the Company Asset Growth of Capital Structure on the Banking Companies either partially or simultaneously. The data used are secondary data. The population in this research is publicly traded banking company in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2003-2007. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling and acquired 22 companies in the sample study.Analysis of the data used is the F-test, t-test, and Multiple Linear Regression. The Results of F-test that all independent variables affect the dependent variable with a significance level of 5%. While the results of ttest states that the variables of ownership structure and growth of assets does not affect the capital structure; Profitability has a negative and significant influence, while the size of the company's positive impact on the banking company's capital structure. Keywords: Capital Structure, Asset Growth, Company Size

Abstract

This paper main objective was to investigate whether  career development has impact on employees performance. This paper is quantitative in nature. Data for the paper have been collected through primary source that are from questionnaires surveys. The data have been checked through statistical software to find the impact of career counseling on worker efficiency, and career mentoring and skill assessment on employees performance. The population of this study was 1,116 lecturers and administrative staff  of 10 Private Higher Education in Central Java, Indonesia., and the taken sample was 250 respondents. Descriptive statistic tools SPSS were applied on the questionnaire to see the reliability and consistency. The result showed that career counseling had a positive and significant effect  on worker efficiency, and career mentoring and skill assessment had a positive and significant effect  on employees performance. The study recommends that organizations should encourage career counseling activities as a leeway of providing a sustainable framework upon which employees acquire the needed operational skills that will enhance their job performance in a typical organization.

Abstract

AbstrakInvestasi pada hakikatnya merupakan penempatan sejumlah dana pada saat ini dengan harapan untuk mendapatkan keuntungan di masa depan. Investasi selalu dikaitkan dengan pengembalian dan risiko. Investor bersedia menerima resiko yang lebih besar tapi harus dikompensasi dengan kesempatan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang juga besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis variabel makro dan mikro, mereka adalah tingkat inflasi, BI rate, nilai tukar dan rasio utang terhadap ekuitas risiko investasi dengan return on equity (ROE). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua anggota saham milik Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), sampel yang digunakan adalah 9 perusahaan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Alat analisis adalah analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat inflasi untuk return on equity (ROE), tingkat inflasi yang signifikan terhadap risiko investasi. BI Rate yang signifikan terhadap return on equity (ROE), BI tingkat risiko investasi yang signifikan. Kurs signifikan terhadap return on equity (ROE), nilai tukar risiko investasi yang signifikan. Debt to equity ratio (DER) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap return on equity (ROE), debt to equity ratio (DER) tidak signifikan terhadap risiko investasi. Return on equity (ROE) tidak signifikan terhadap risiko investasi.Kata kunci : risiko investasi, return on equity (ROE), makro dan mikro variabel AbstractInvestment in essence is the placement of funds at this time with the hope to make a profit in the future. Investment always associated with return and risk. Investors are willing to accept greater risks but should be compensated by the opportunity to get a return which is also great. This study aims to analyze the macro and micro variables, they are inflation rate, BI rate, exchange rate and debt-to-equity ratio of the investment risk by return on equity (ROE). Population in this study are all members of the shares belonging to the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII), the sample used is 9 companies using purposive sampling techniques. The analysis tools are path analysis. The results showed no significant effect on the inflation rate to return on equity (ROE), the inflation rate significantly to investment risk. BI rate significant on return on equity (ROE), BI rate significant investment risk. Exchange rate significant on return on equity (ROE), exchange rate significant risk investment. Debt to equity ratio (DER) a significant effect on return on equity (ROE), debt to equity ratio (DER) are not significant to investment risk. Abstract

The level of corruption in ASEAN countries, especially ASEAN 5, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines, although gradually declining but still in the high category. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of corruption in ASEAN-5 countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines). The level of corruption is proxied using the Corruption Perception Index (CPI), while the independent variable is internet users, and gender is proxied by female labor force participation and male labor force participation. The results show that the increasing number of internet users will reduce the level of corruption as indicated by the increased CPI value. As for gender, increasing female labor force participation will reduce the level of corruption, but the opposite result is shown by the participation of the male labor force. The policy implication of this study is the need to expand the use of the internet and provide wider opportunities for women to work, especially in public offices, to reduce the level of corruption

Abstract

 Abstrak Penelitian ini  menganalisis  cara meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Demak, dengan menggunakan pendekatan teori pertumbuhan “Solow-Swan”. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel tenaga kerja dan modal investasi memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Demak. Artinya bila ada kenaikan terhadap tenaga kerja dan modal investasi maka akan menaikkan pertumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Demak. Sedangkan Variabel simpanan di dalam kasus penelitian ini tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan, dikarenakan simpanan yang ada di kabupaten Demak nilainya masih kecil. Kata Kunci:   Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Modal, Tenaga Kerja dan Tabungan, Teori Pertum­buhan Solow-Swan AbstractThis study aimed to analyze on how to increase economic growth in Demak, through the implementation of “Solow-Swan" model. Abstract

ABSTRAK Bank BPR syariah yang digerakkan dengan sistem bagi hasil serta orientasi maslahah (kebaikan) dan kehalalan telah mendorong kompetisi perbankan yang bertumpu pada bunga. Namun begitu, kepercayaan masyarakat untuk berinvestasi melalui perbankan syariah masih relatif rendah. Ini menjadi latar untuk melakukan penelitian tentang apa penyebab rendahnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap perbankan syariah. Persepsi dan nilai nasabah menjadi orientasi peneliti menduga penyebab tinggi rendahnya tingkat kepercayaan BAnk (BPR) Syariah di Kota Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dan nilai nasabah terhadap kepercayaan bank BPR Syariah di Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi. Instrumen dalam pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik non probability sampling berdasar Convvenience Sampling yaitu berdasarkan kemudahan ditemui tanpa membedakan responden moslem dan non moslem terhadap 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Persepsi dan Nilai Nasabah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Tingkat Kepercayaan Bank. Kata kunci: persepsi, nilai, kepercayaan ABSTRACT BPR syariah bank is driven by the sharing system as well as the orientation maslahah (kindness) and halal banking has encouraged competition resting on an interest. However, public confidence to invest in Islamic banking is still relatively low. This is the backdrop to do research on what causes of low public confidence in the Islamic banking. Perception and value customers into high orientation researchers suspect causes low levels of trust banks (BPR) Sharia in Semarang. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the perception and value of customers' confidence BPR Syariah bank in Semarang. This study uses a quantitative method by regression analysis. Instruments in data collection using a questionnaire with non-probability sampling technique based Convenience Sampling is based on the ease encountered regardless respondent moslem and non-moslem on 100 respondents. The study concluded that the Customer Perception  and Customer value had positive and significant impact on the level of  Bank Trust. Key words : perception, value, trust

Abstract

This study aims to assess the performance of cooperatives and provide strategic recommendations that can help the Local Cooperative in carrying out its vision and mission. This study uses a descriptive research design. The results of the research work of KUD Karya Maesaan, Financial Perspective: Return on Investment (ROI) in 2014 is 1.31%, 2015: 0.86%, 2016: 2.15%. Return on Equity (ROE) in 2014 is 1.51%, 2015: 0.90%, 2016: 2.23%. Net Profit Margin in 2014 is 0.056, 2015: 0.137, 2016: 0.322. Cost Efficiency in 2016 is 97.09%, 2017: 95.57%. KSU Usaha Bersama: ROI in 2014 23.6%, 2015: 22.11%, 2016: 19.29%. ROE in 2014 was 36.77%, in 2015: 33.10%, in 2016: 31.45%. Net Profit Margin in 2014: 0.128, 2015: 0.148, 2016: 0.151. Cost Efficiency in 2016 is 98.62%, 2017: 96.75%. Customer Perspective: For the past 3 years, the number of customers of KUD Karya Maesaan and KSU Usaha Bersama always increases. The level of satisfaction of the customers for both cooperatives are in the level of very satisfied. Internal process perspectives: the processing time and delivery time for both cooperatives are running efficiently. In human resources perspective, both of the cooperative needs to increase the education level for their members and administrator.
