For optical lens manufacturing the development of product and service quality is a key thing in answering challenges in the business competition it is developing. To achieve this determine the Key Performance Indicator (KPI), the Rejected Rate and On-Time Delivery (OTD) to measure the extent of the performance that has been achieved and how to develop it, shape the work culture of Kaizen which commits to continuous improvement and value chain analysis largely determine the process of developing production and service quality. The Kaizen culture and value chain applied in achieving the KPI target in this study succeeded in reducing the KPI Rejected Rate by 0. 46% and raise OTD by 2. 22%. The method used in this study uses a review of literature studies, observations, and direct interviews of the plant manager of one of the largest optical lenses manufacturers in Indonesia using data comparisons in 2018 and 2020

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of earnings volatility on borrowers cost of debt. In addition, this study also analyzes the difference effect of earnings volatility on borrowers cost of debt for different industries. Samples were selected by using the purposive sampling method and obtained 1,100 observations from eight industries sector in Indonesia listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange based on the Jakarta Stock Industrial Classification from 2012-2016. Three control variables used in this study were profitability, liquidity and solvency. The result shows that earnings volatility has positive effect on the borrowers cost of debt. The profitability has a negative effect on borrowers cost of debt, nevertheless liquidity and solvency have no effect on borrowers cost of debt. Therefore, every company expected to maintain and stabilize their earnings with generates a good performance of profitability. Furthermore, the result also shows that there is a difference effect of earnings volatility on borrowers cost of debt in each industrial sector in Indonesia listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The industrial sector which have significant effects between earnings volatility and borrowers cost of debt were agriculture sector and miscellaneous sector.

Abstract

 Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis struktur pasar dan proses pembentukan harga komoditas daging sapi di wilayah pemasaran Kabupaten Banyumas sehingga akan dapat diidentifikasi sub produsen yang menjadi pengendali harga (price driver). Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer sebagai data utama yang berasal dari hasil kuesioner dan wawancara terhadap sub-sub produsen. Dengan teknik proportional random sampling diperoleh sampel dari sub-sub produsen meliputi 10 peternak, 3 RPH, 5 pedagang besar, dan 10 pedagang kecil, serta ditambah 10 konsumen akhir. Untuk menganalisis struktur pasar digunakan ukuran Herfindahl Index (HI) dan Concentration Ratio (CR) dan untuk menganalisis proses pembentukan harga digunakan ukuran asymmetric price transmission (APT). Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) struktur pasar komoditas daging sapi adalah oligopoli ketat; dan (2) RPH dan pedagang besar adalah pengendali harga daging sapi. Kata-kata kunci:    struktur pasar, pembentukan harga, price driver, asymmetric price transmission           Abstract This research is aimed to analyze market structure and price determination process of beef commodity marketed in Banyumas Regency thus it would be identified which sub producer becomes price driver. This study used primary data as main information collected from questionnaire and depth interview results of respondents—sub producers. By proportional random sampling technique, samples could be provided, viz. 10 cow breeders, 3 slaughterhouses, 5 wholesalers, and 10 small traders, and also 10 consumers. To analyze market structure it was used Herfindahl Index (HI) and Concentration Ratio (CR), and to analyze price formation it was used asymmetric price transmission (APT) measurement. The result shows that: (1) market structure of beef commodity is tight oligopoly; and (2) slaughterhouses and wholesalers become price drivers.         Keywords: market structure, price formation, price driver, asymmetric price transmission

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan rute pengiriman produk yang paling tepat dan optimal yang dapat meminimalkan biaya distribusi, dan untuk mengetahui besarnya penghematan biaya distribusi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah data perusahaan angkutan kayu gelondongan di Jawa Tengah, dan sampel penelitian ini adalah data dari 10  perusahaan angkutan kayu gelondongan di bawah Bunga Bangsa Co. Group di 10 kota di Jawa Tengah. Analisa penentuan rute distribusi menggunakan metode Saving Matrix. Hasil peramalan nilai MAPE, MAD, dan MSE terkecil  sebesar 0.50697, 0.102956, dan 0.018398. Hasil analisa dengan menggunakan metode Saving Matrix menunjukkan jumlah rute distribusi  dapat diturunkan dari 20 rute menjadi 10 rute. Jarak tempuh yang semula sebesar 3890 kilometer dapat direduksi menjadi 2238 kilometer, yang berarti jarak tersebut dapat dipersingkat/lebih hemat sebesar 42.47 % atau sekitar 1652 kilometer. Adanya penurunan rute mengakibatkan Biaya distribusi produk menjadi lebih rendah. Biaya semula adalah sebesar Rp22.952.267 turun menjadi Rp12.835.830. Dengan demikian terjadi penghematan biaya saluran distribusi sebesar Rp10,116,437 atau sekitar 44.07 %. Kata kunci: Metoda Saving Matriks, Efisiensi, Biaya Distribusi

Abstract

FTntries and China and such advantages can be enjoyed in the long run. While a counter claim that today's reality in ACFTA implemtation has hurt ASEAN member countries in general and Indonesia in particular. And the fact in the short term should not wait for the solution in the long run. Abstract

This research aims to analyze: work time allocation and the factors that influence the allocation of working time on the farming of rice made by man (husband) and (wife) women and the role of gender occurring within the household. The analytical approach used the model of average tabulation, multiple linear regression analysis, and gender analysis of the Harvard Model. This research used cross section data with a sample of 100 males (husbands) and 100 females (wives) of households of rice farmers. The results of research showed that the amount of working time allocation for male (husband) is greater than the allocation of working time of female (wife). Work time allocation the man (husband) influenced by land area and the amount of production.Women's work time allocation (wife) are affected by land area, level of education, and the number of family members.Gender analysis results show the man (husband) more productive activities and on the role of the woman (wife) on reproductive activities.Access and control in the household more done by men (husbands).The factors that provide a positive impact, namely the demographic structure of the region, institution/economic factors, the training performed by government institutions, and the attitude of the society that received intervention from outside.The factors which provide negative effects namely the norms of the community, and the local customary law.

Abstract

AbstrakKemiskinan di kabupaten Demak ditinjau dari beberapa indikator menunjukkan kondisi yang memerlukan penanganan yang cukup serius. Jumlah penduduk miskin di Kabupaten Demak selama 5 tahun terakhir (2006-2010) terus menurun, Terjadi ketimpangan antara kota dan desa, dimana Jumlahpenduduk miskin di desa sangatlah besar dibanding dengan jumlah penduduk miskin di kota. Persentase Jumlah penduduk miskin di kota hanya sebesar 2% rata-rata pertahun, sedangkan persentase jumlah penduduk miskin di desa rata-rata pertahun sebesar 20%.Indikator lain yang terkait dengan kemiskinanadalah tingkat pengangguran, tingkat kesehatan dan tingkat pendidikan. Proses percepatan penaggulangan kemiskinan selain dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah, dunia usaha juga diharapkan untuk berpartisipasi melalui program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Di samping itu kunci keberhasilan PPK adalah membangun keterpaduan langkah dalam perumusan dan penyelenggaraan program pembangunan khususnya PPK. PPK harus dilaksanakan secara sistematis dari penetapan sasaran, perumusan bentuk program serta cara melakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi harus dipikirkan dan dirumuskan dengan matang dan seksama sejak awal.Kata Kunci : Tingkat kemiskinan,indikator, programAbstractDemak district poverty in terms of some indicators show conditions that require serious treatment. The number of poor people in Demak regency during the last 5 years (2006-2010) continues to decline, An inequality between urban and rural areas, where the number of poor people in the village isvery large compared to the number of poor people in the city. Percentage of poor people in the city by only 2% on average per year, while the percentage of poor people in the rural average of 20% per year. Indicators related to poverty is unemployment, health and education levels. Acceleration of the processin addition to combating poverty by the local government, the business community are also expected to participate through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition, the key to success is to build cohesion PPK step in the formulation and implementation of development programs in particular PPK.KDP should be carried out systematically from goal setting, formulation of program forms and how to perform monitoring and evaluation should be well thought out and carefully formulated and carefully from the beginning.Keywords : Poverty, indicators, program

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan paper ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model teoritis hubungan dari anteceden pembelajaran organisasi terhadap budaya berbagi pengetahuan. Hasil review literatur menghasilkan konsep professional altruistik dan kualitas pengembangan diri yang diturunkan dari teori RBV, teori manajemen pengetahuan, teori organisasi pembelajaran dan teori pertukaran sosial.  Berdasarkan kajian teori dan hasil-hasil riset terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran organisasi dan keunggulan bersaing akan membentuk kualitas pengembangan diri. Selanjutnya kompetensi individu mampu melahirkan kinerja superior karena memiliki keahlian dan ketrampilan, dukungan kemampuan interpersonal serta motivasi intrinsik akan melahirkan professional altruistik.  Konsep kualitas pengembangan diri dan professional altruistik diperlukan dalam membangun budaya berbagi pengetahuan. Dengan demikian Perguruan Tinggi Swasta  yang memiliki peranan sebagai organisasi pembelajar akan mampu meningkatkan budaya berbagi pengetahuan, sehingga perguruan tinggi sebagai budaya akademik dapat optimal serta mampu meningkatkan kinerja organisasi. Kata Kunci: kualitas pengembangan diri; profesional altruistik, berbagi pengetahuanAbstractThe purpose of this paper is to develop a theoretical model of the relationship of organizational learning anteceden towards a culture of sharing knowledge. The results of the literature review resulted in the concept of altruistic professional and personal development quality derived from RBV theory, the theory of knowledge management, organizational learning theory and social exchange theory. Based on the theoretical study and the results of previous research indicates that organizational learning and competitive advantage will shape the quality of self-development. Furthermore, individual competencies could produce a superior performance because it has the expertise and skills, interpersonal skills as well as support the intrinsic motivation will bear altruistic professional. The concept of self-development and professional quality altruistic required in building a culture of knowledge sharing. Thus private universities which has a role as a learning organization will be able to improve knowledge-sharing culture, so the university as an academic culture can be optimized and able to improve the performance of the organization. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research is a descriptive study, provides an overview of the influence of the dimensions of the marketing mix consisting of product, price, promotion, distribution channels/locations and the physical evidence against the customers decisions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of each variable product, price, promotion, distribution channels/locations and the physical evidence against the customers decision in using the services of Prodia Clinical Laboratory in Surakarta. The samples used were 75 consumers. Instument test result data indicates that every marketing mix variables (5P) has the highest r count>r table and Cronbach's alpha values>0.60 so that the data is valid and reliable and can be used for further research. Hypothesis test results show that each variable product, price, promotion, distribution channels/locations and physical evidence has the value t count>t table with a significance value of <0.05 so that it can be concluded that the product, price, promotion, distribution channels / locations and physical evidence, each has positive and significant impact on customers decisions in using the services of the Prodia Clinical Laboratory.Keyword : product, price, promotion, distribution channels/locations, physical evidence, customers decision ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang memberikan gambaran tentang pengaruh dimensi bauran pemasaran yang terdiri dari produk, harga, promosi, saluran distribusi/lokasi dan bukti fisik terhadap keputusan konsumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel produk, harga, promosi, saluran distribusi/lokasi dan bukti fisik terhadap keputusan konsumen dalam menggunakan jasa Laboratorium Klinik Prodia di Surakarta. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 75 konsumen. Hasil uji instument data menunjukan bahwa setiap variabel bauran pemasaran (5P) mempunyai nilai r hitung > r tabel dan nilai cronbach’s alpha > 0.60 sehingga data bersifat valid dan reliabel dan dapat digunakan untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa masing-masing variabel produk, harga, promosi, saluran distribusi/lokasi dan bukti fisik mempunyai nilai t hitung > t tabel dengan nilai signifikasi < 0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk, harga, promosi, saluran distribusi/lokasi dan bukti fisik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan konsumen dalam menggunakan jasa Laboratorium Klinik ProdiaKata kunci  : produk, harga, promosi, saluran distribusi/lokasi dan bukti fisik keputusan konsumen.

Abstract

One of the obstacles faced by the Village Unit Cooperative (VUC) in dealing with the current competitive business environment is the limited resources both in term of funds and infrastructure.  Meanwhile, modern business is supported by the large scale of resources such as modern infrastructure, professional human resources, and extensive networks both at national and international levels. This study tries to evaluate the information system needs by VUC in order to sustain their business both manual and computer-based accounting system.  The data was collected through in-depth interview, observation, and focus group discussion during community engagement activity conducted from July to October 2018.  By using 6 VUCs in Banyumas as a sample, this study documents the steps in system development by using system development life cycle such as provide general information of the business, a summary of accounting policies, account guidelines and financial statements format, description of account codes, and the forms or the standards of journal entries.  Moreover, this study designs a computer-based accounting system by using the Pivot Table on Microsoft Excel. With the good supervision in implementing all steps in system development, it is expected that the VUCs in Banyumas will be more sustainable and professional in managing their business in a  very competitive business environment.
