Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis (JAB) is the biannual scientific journal of Business Administration, published by the Center for Business Studies (CeBiS), Business Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Parahyangan Catholic University. Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis is issued two (2) times a year, every March and September, which contains essays or research results in Business Administration. Jurnal Administrasi Bisnis aims to disseminate the ideas and scientific analysis in the field of Business Administration.

Abstract

Persaingan dalam sebuah industri tidak dapat dihindarkan oleh para pelaku bisnis. Salah satu cara untuk bertahan dan memenangkan persaingan adalah dengan mening- katkan kemampuan perusahaan untuk mengendalikan sumber daya di sekitarnya. Untuk dapat unggul dalam sebuah persaingan, perusahaan dapat mengendalikan sumber daya non-makro seperti Control of Knowledge, Expert Power, Control of Distribution, Control of Resources, dan Personal Power. Dari kelima sumber yang dapat dikendalikan tersebut, Control of Knowledge dapat digunakan untuk memperoleh pemahaman dan meningkatkan kemampuan perusahaan untuk mempersiapkan masa depannya. Dalam hal ini dikhususkan pada divisi penjualan, yang akan diperkuat dengan analisis mengenai tipe kecerdasan penjualan. Tipe kecerdasan penjualan adalah kecerdasan indrawi, intuitif, logis, verbal, spasial, personal, musikal, pikiran-tubuh, masyarakat, teknis, visual, dan kreatif. Didasarkan pada analisis dan pengembangan kecerdasan penjualan tersebut, maka perusahaan akan mendapatkan informasi dan pengetahuan yang lebih dibandingkan pesaing terkait konsumennya. Keunggulan informasi dan pengetahuan tentang konsumen memberikan kesempatan kepada perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kendali atas informasi, sehingga mampu memposisikan diri lebih baik dari para pesaingnya.

Abstract

Each of government units has responsibility to make report showing its accountabilityand trasparancy. To achieve this situation, the main problem is on the informationrelevancy and accurateness so the government can avoid frauds. Using entity theoryas the grand theory, agency theory as the middle theory and behaviour organizationsas supporting theory, the reseach show that both public sector accounting implementationand government financial report quality control will have an impact tothe accountability of government unit performance and then they also will make animpact to their effort to avoid fraud.Keywords: Public Sector, Performance Report, Financial Report, Fraud

Abstract

Reform of the bureaucracy is one of the most important in the implementation of the reform agenda as a whole, in order to improve the overall quality of public services from government officials to prioritize aspects of improving the welfare of civil servants. Under Law of ASN, efforts to improve the welfare of civil servants made through the structuring of income by taking into account factors professionalism, fairness and sustainable fiscal of APBN/APBD. By using goal programming method and case study analysis of Bandung City Government in 2013, it can be concluded allocation of personnel expenditure can be divided into three clusters. By comparing the baseline and simulated conditions echelon II officials raise salaries by 10%, the impact is the increase in the ratio of personnel expenditures to Total Expenditure Bandung in 2013 amounted to 0.20% and raised its budget deficit into Rp415,2 billion, or 0.23%. Abstract

Indonesia is facing a fundamental shift in demography and geography. The birthrates is declining, with improvement in the health facilities, as well as increasingthe proportion of individuals of productive ages. The advantages occurred in the con-ditions of growing individuals in the age group 15-64 years, and declining birth rates(fertility). Can this advantages used to increase the competitiveness of Indonesia?This condition shows the power of productive age, and is known as the de-mographic dividend. In the demographic dividend period, Indonesia has an abun-dance of potential human resources in the productive age. On the other hand thatentrepreneurship is a vehicle to enhance the nation’s competitiveness. Abstract

Competition in saving account product is a great effect on the number of customer.A greater product values offered then a greater number of customers who are usingthe services. Since positioning strategy describe a superior value, the positioning be-comes an important determining aspect for a customer in deciding to use the services.This study has an objectvie to evaluate customer perception on product positioningof saving account in Bank KALBAR. Survey was conducted to 50 respondent ofTASERNA saving account and 50 respondent in SIMPEDA saving account. Theresult showed that the SIMPEDA saving account is positioned as a saving accountwith a good attribute, such as an appropriate administration fee and service qual-ity. Meanwhile, the TASERNA saving account has a fair enough position in termof provision’s simplicity, administration fee, interest rate, prizes offered, withdrawallimitation, physical saving book, and ATM facility.Keywords: product value, positioning, positioning strategy

Abstract

Increasing and maintaining a service quality are not an easy job, moreover if thereare involving some division in delivering the services. JPK programme, as one of thepublic service programme in health, which are organized by PT jamsostek (Persero),using the trhee party pattern which are involving three institution, such as BadanPenyelenggara (PT Jamsostek), Provider (Health Care Organizer) dan Recipient (cor-poration dan employee) as their customer. The three party pattern is a complex modelsince each involved institutions have their own potential. Interaction among the threeinstitution will come out a potential side effect problem, which in the end affectedthe quality of the delivered services. The present paper provides a review of the literature focusing the relationship betweenhuman capital and performance essentially at firm level. The exercise ofreviewing existing literature permitted to uncover three major neglected issues: 1)defining and measurement intellectual and human capital, 2) the analysis of humancapital - firm performance relationship; and 3) human resources management. As the information technology become one of the production factors in human life,knowledge is the important factor for the organization. Abstract

Modern trade stores have been very successful in Vietnamese retail industry, espe-cially in some big cities. However, the popularity of such stores is still lagging behindthe traditional stores. In regard with this issue, many studies have been done overtime, but very few have been focused on rural regions in emerging countries likeVietnam. Thus, this study aims at exploring the reasons why Vietnamese consumersin the remote area prefer to shop at traditional stores instead of modern stores. Fur-thermore, this study attempts to fill the gap between these two types of formats. Theresearch uses quantitative method with the aid of SPSS software to analyze the data.The results show that consumers in the remote areas are still not willing to quit theirtraditional shopping habits for a new choice of store based on the current situation.Therefore, it is not the right time for investors to expand their modern business intothe country’s rural areas.Keywords: Modern Trade Store, Traditional Store, Rural Vietnam, Retail Industry,Consumer Behavior, Store Attributes.

Abstract

AbstractOne of the characteristics of modern organization is a learning organization.Learning organization is an organization that is continually learning shared amongmembers use existing knowledge so that the company can achieve success. Somecompanies have succeeded as a learning organization. since the 1990s. Learningorganization continuously practice and utilize the knowledge in accordance withthe company’s ability.
