Abstract

Artikel ini mengidentifikasi jenis penyu dan karakteristik sarang peneluran penyu di Pulau Popaya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Oktober 2015 di Kawasan Cagar Alam Mas Popaya Raja Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Ditemukan 3 (tiga) jenis penyu yaitu Chelonia mydas, Eretmochelis imbricata dan Caretta caretta. Chelonia mydas memiliki sarang peneluran dengan lebar jejak rata–rata 145,3 cm, panjang jejak rata–rata 31 m, kedalaman rata–rata 54,6 cm, diameter rata–rata 23,3 cm x 25,1 cm, suhu rata–rata 30,6°C, sarang terletak pada pantai dengan lebar rata–rata 31,6 m dan sudut kemiringan rata–rata 14,11°. Eretmochelis imbricate memiliki lebar jejak sarang rata–rata 141,2 cm, panjang jejak rata–rata 21,1 m, kedalaman rata–rata 39,6 cm, diameter rata–rata 19,8 cm x 23,1 cm, suhu rata–rata 30,5°C, lebar pantai rata–rata 31,6 m dan sudut kemiringan pantai rata–rata 12,86°. Caretta caretta memiliki lebar jejak sarang± 148 cm panjang jejak ± 32,6 m, kedalaman±44,5 cm, diameter±20 cm x 25 cm, suhu rata– rata 30,3°C, lebar pantai±34 m dan sudut kemiringan pantai ±12,41°. This article identifies species of turtles and the characteristics of turtle nesting holes on Popaya Island. The study was conducted from February to October 2015 in Mas Popaya Raja Nature Reserve, North Gorontalo District. The method used is a survey method. Found 3 (three) types of turtles namely Chelonia mydas, Eretmochelis imbricata and Caretta caretta. Chelonia mydas has nesting holes with an average trail width of 145.3 cm, average trail length of 31 m, average depth of 54.6 cm, average diameter of 23.3 cm x 25.1 cm, average temperature of 30.6 ° C, the nests are located on the beach with an average width of 31.6 m and an average slope angle of 11.11 °. Eretmochelis imbricatehas an average nest trail width of 141.2 cm, average trail length of 21.1 m, average depth of 39.6 cm, average diameter of 19.8 cm x 23.1 cm, average temperature of 30.5 ° C, an average beach width of 31.6 m and an average beach slope of 12.86 °. Caretta caretta has a nest trail width of ± 148 cm trail length ± 32.6 m, depth of ± 44.5 cm, diameter ± 20 cm x 25 cm, average temperature of 30.3 ° C, average beach width of 34 m and average slope angle beach of 12.41 °. Abstract

Pertumbuhan dan struktur umur ikan layang (Decapterus russelli) yang di daratkan di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (PPI) Kota Gorontalo dianalisis dalam paper ini. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April – Juni 2015. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan seminggu sekali secara random. Estimasi nilai parameter pertumbuhan dengan metode Von Bertalanffy Sparre et al (1999) diketahui nilai L∞ jantan 22,3763, L∞ betina 21,8673, K jantan 1,6348, K betina 1,1958 t0 jantan-0,2659, t0betina-0,1674. Terdiri dari tiga kelompok umur dengan panjang rata – rata (L1) jantan 21,9406, (L1) betina 22,1273, (L2) jantan 22,5122, (L2) betina 24,5673, (L3) jantan 28,2093, (L3) betina 34,0451. Persamaan Von Bertalanffy Sparre et al (1999) untuk ikan layang jantan yaitu Lt=22,3763 (1-e, ( ( , )). Ikan layang betina diperoleh persamaan Lt=21,8673(1-e, ( ( , )). The growth and age structure of Decapterus russelli landed at the Fish Landing Base in Gorontalo City are analyzed in this paper. The study was conducted in April - June 2015. Sampling was conducted once a week at random. Estimation of the value of growth parameters by the method of Von Bertalanffy Sparre et al (1999) found the value of male L∞ 22.3763, L∞ female 21.8673, male K 1.6348, female K 1.1958 t0 male -0.2659, female t0 -0,1674. Consists of three age groups with an average length (L1) of males 21.9406, (L1) females 22.1273, (L2) males 22.5122, (L2) females 24.5673, (L3) males 28.2093, (L3) female 34,0451. Von Bertalanffy Sparre et al (1999) equation for male Decapterus russelli is Lt = 22,3763 (1-e, ( ( , )). Female Decapterus russelli is obtained by the equation Lt = 21,8673(1-e, ( ( , )). Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jenis pakan yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan gurame (Osphronemus gouramy). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan mutlak panjang dan berat tertinggi ditunjukkan pada perlakuan B (F-888) berturut-turut sebesar 1.5 cm dan 1.3 g, disusul perlakuan A (F-999) berturut-turut sebesar 1.3 cm dan 1.1 g, disusul perlakuan C (IL 18 SP+1) berturut-turut sebesar 1 cm dan 0.8 g dan terendah pada perlakuan D (IL 28 K) berturut-turut sebesar 0.8 cm dan 0.6 g. Kelangsungan hidup benih ikan gurame selama penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan A sebesar 72.91% perlakuan B dan C sebesar 75% dan 68.75% sedangkan perlakuan D 77.08%. Hasil penelitian dilanjutkan dengan Uji Beda Nyata Terkecil (BNT) dengan tingkat kepercayaan 99%. This study aims to determine the effect of different types of feed on the growth and survival of gouramy seeds. This research is using experimental method. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that the absolute highest growth in length and weight was shown in treatment B (F-888) respectively of 1.5 cm and 1.3 g, followed by treatment A (F-999) respectively of 1.3 cm and 1.1 g, followed by treatment C (IL 18 SP + 1) respectively of 1 cm and 0.8 g and the lowest in treatment D (IL 28 K) were 0.8 cm and 0.6 g, respectively. The survival of gouramy seeds during the study showed treatment A was 72.91% treatment B and C were 75% and 68.75% while treatment D was 77.08%. The results of the study continued with the Least Significant Difference Test (LSD) with a confidence level of 99%. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui umur simpan ikan julung-julung (Hemirhampus affinis) asap tumbuk halus pada kemasan polietilen dan kemasan semi aluminium foil. Ikan julung-julung asap kemudian ditumbuk halus dan dikemas dan disimpan pada suhu 25oC, 30oC dan 35oC. Laju perubahan kapang dihitung dengan menggunakan persamaan Arrhenius danpenentuan umur simpan ditentukan berdasarkan persamaan ordo nol. Umur simpan ikan julung-julung asap tumbuk halus pada kemasan polietilen lebih bertahan pada suhu ruang yaitu 37,6 hari. Sedangkan kemasan semi aluminium foil dapat lebih mempertahankan umur simpan pada suhu yang lebih tinggi dan pada suhu ruang hanya mampu bertahan hingga 42,43 hari. The aim of this study was to determine the shelf life of finely-ground-smoked finfish (Hemirhampus affinis) on polyethylene and semi-aluminum foil packagings. Smoked fish are then finely ground and packaged and stored at 25oC, 30oC and 35oC. The rate of change in molds is calculated using the Arrhenius equation and the shelf life is determined based on the zero order equation. The shelf life of finely-ground-smoked finfish in polyethylene packaging is better at room temperature is 37.6 days. While the semi-aluminum foil packaging can better maintain shelf life at higher temperatures and at room temperature can only last up to 42.43 days. Abstract

Paper ini mengetengahkan kerapatan dan pola sebaran lamun di Perairan Teluk Tomini Desa Olimoo’o Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan pada Bulan Mei sampai Bulan September 2014. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode transek garis dengan kuadran berukuran 1x1 meter. Lokasi penelitian dibagi menjadi 3 stasiun. Lamun yang ditemukan ada 4 jenis yaitu Cymodocea rotundatadan Syringgodium isoetitolium dari famili Patomogetonaceae, dan Halophila ovalis dan Thalassia hemprichii dari famili Hydrocharitaceae. Cymodocea rotundata memiliki tingkat kerapatan tertinggi dan pola sebaran lamun di Desa Olimoo’o adalah mengelompok. Lamun tumbuh pada substrat yang bervariasi terdiri dari patahan karang mati, berpasir, lumpur berpasir, dan berbatu. This paper presents the density and distribution of seagrass in Tomini Gulf, Olimoo'o Village, Batudaa Pantai, Gorontalo Regency. The study was conducted from May to September 2014 by line transect method with a quadrant measuring 1x1 meters.The research location is divided into 3 stations. Seagrasses were found in 4 types namely Cymodocea rotundata and Syringgodium isoetitolium from the family Patomogetonaceae, and Halophila ovalis and Thalassia hemprichii from the family Hydrocharitaceae. Cymodocea rotundata has the highest density and seagrass distribution in Olimoo Village is clustered. Seagrasses grow on a variety of substrates consisting of broken coral, sandy, muddy sand, and rocky. Katakunci: Lamun; kerapatan; pola sebaran; TelukTomini. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pakan buatan berbahan limbah kepala udang dengan dosis berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan sintasan benih ikan gurame (Osphronemus gouramy). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan panjang sebesar 0.17 cm dan pertambahan berat sebesar 0,12 gram pada semua perlakuan. Sintasan benih ikan gurame selama penelitian yaitu 65,42%. Hasil analisis sidik ragam panjang dan berat benih ikan gurame menunjukan bahwa dosis pakan yang berbeda tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata dengan nilai F Hitung panjang dan berat sebesar 0.3773 dan 0 sedangkan nilai F tabel (0,01) sebesar 7.59. This study aims to determine the effect of artificial feeding made from shrimp head (waste) at different dosages on the growth and survival of gouramy (Osphronemus gouramy) seeds. This study used an experimental method, with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 4 treatments and 3 replications. The results showed that the growth of length is uniformly 0.17 cm and weight gain was 0.12 grams in all treatments. The survival rate of gouramy seeds during the study was 65.42%. The results of analysis of variance in length and weight of gouramy seeds showed that different dosages of feed did not have a real effect with F calculated value for length and weight of 0.3773 and 0, while the F table value (0.01) is 7.59.
