Jurnal Tematik merupakan media komunikasi para akademisi, guru dan pemerhati dunia pendidikan dalam perspektif kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian kritis yang aktual berkenaan dengan tema-tema pendidikan, seperti kebijakan atau regulasi pendidikan, kurikulum, inovasi pembelajaran (kajian materi, pendekatan, model, metode, media dan evaluasi belajar) dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan dasar. Terbit tiga kali dalam setahun yakni April, Agustus dan Desember. Terbit pertama kali untuk edisi April 2012. Jurnal Tematik adalah jurnal berkala ilmiah berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian pendidikan dasar pada fokus aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan jurnal nasional bermitra bestari yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun dalam bentuk cetak dan online oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. Abstract

This study aims to improve literacy skills with Word Picture Card Through Media Computers In Group B In RA Bunayya I Raudhatul Tanjung Sari Medan Selayang. This study is an action research using computer media , research carried out for 2 cycles each cycle consisting of 4 (four) meetings with a time of  2 x 30 minutes. The study subjects were all children of the class B Raudhatul RA Bunayya I Tanjung Sari Medan Selayang on Odd semester of school year 2013/2014, amounting to 15 people. Boys numbered 7 and 8 girls numbered. Collecting data using literacy tests and observation of the learning process. Observations made ​​on any action to obtain data about their activities that develop during the learning takes place. Data were analyzed using descriptive techniques. The results showed that children's literacy class B Raudhatul RA Bunayya I Selayang Medan Tanjung Sari has increased by 1.95 % after attending literacy learning with word cards illustrated through computer media. This increase can be seen from the results of literacy children acquire pre-action average by 56.67 there was an increase of 0.93 % literacy results, cycle I gained an average of 66.00 an increase literacy outcomes at 1.02 % and the second cycle gained an average of 76.13 an increase in results literacy by 1.95 %. literacy outcomes. Based on these results it can be concluded that the picture word cards via computer media can improve literacy skills of children and make learning more fun child. Thus the word cards illustrated through the medium of the computer can be used as an alternative for teachers in literacy learning serving.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of Talking Stick model learning  in improving the students learning outcomes on the subject of civics lesson in the central government system. From the results of research conducted by using Talking Sticks in the first cycle of observation results 69% of teachers and 72 student activity observation is good category. Thoroughness of learning outcomes gained 14 people who finished with a percentage of 54% and 12 who did not complete the percentage of 46% with an average value of 62.26, while in the second cycle, the observation of 76.5 teachers and 84 students observation with both categories. The completeness of student learning outcomes obtained 23 who percentage of students who completed at 88.46% and the 3 people who did not complete with the percentage of 11.54% with an average value of the results of the second cycle of 75.15. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of Talking Stick model learning on civics lesson in the central government system in class IV private primary school  04948 Gebang improve the students learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve social studies learning outcomes and shape student character through the STAD type cooperative learning model at SDM 060809 Medan. This type of research is a Classroom Action Research conducted at SDN 060809 Medan with the subject of research being the fifth grade students totaling 22 people. The object of research is the application of the STAD Type Cooperative Learning Model to Improve Social Studies Learning Outcomes and Shape Student Character. The research data were obtained from the learning scenario, the Student Character Questionnaire Observation sheet, and the Student Learning Outcomes Test. The results of the validation of the device in the category (can be used with several revisions) and the results of the test instrument test have a reliability of 0.97 or very high. The study consisted of 2 cycles and the test was given at the end of each cycle. The results of data analysis in the second cycle obtained the results: (1) Formation of Character Students have met the specified percentage of 91%; (2) The learning achievement test score of 95.45% of the number of students who took the test was successful. Based on the results of the second cycle, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD Cooperative Learning Model can shape students' Character and Student Learning Outcomes. This success occurs with various revisions of action based on the results of reflection on the learning process and results.

Abstract

Improving Learning Outcomes Of Sciences By Application Learning Methods Lecture Plus Demonstration With  Parts Of The Body In The Class I SD State 5 Bies District Central Aceh Lessons Of Year  2013/2014. The purpose of this study was to obtain a factual overview of the use of lectures plus demonstrations of learning methods can improve science learning outcomes of students in public primary schools 5 Class I Bies Central Aceh district lessons of year 2013/2014. This study uses action research (action research) for three cycles. Each round consists of four phases: design, action and observation, reflection and refisi. The target of this research is the first grade students of SD Negeri 5 Bies Central Aceh district in Aceh province, amounting to 25 samples. Lessons of year 2013/2014 the data obtained in the form of test results, observation sheet teaching and learning activities. Based on these results it can be concluded that learning by teaching learning methods lectures plus demonstrations have a positive impact in improving student achievement is marked by an increase in mastery learning students in each cycle, the first cycle (64.00%), second cycle (76.00 %), the third cycle (88.00%). The application of learning methods lectures plus demonstrations of learning has a positive effect, which can improve student learning outcomes to study the course material received during this time, where it is shown by the average attitude of students who stated that students interested in learning and interested in learning methods lectures plus demonstrations so that they become motivated to learn.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 104205 Tembung. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan September 2015 s/d Nopember 2015. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV A SD Negeri 104205 Tembung Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 dengan jumlah siswa 26. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian hasil tes awal, dapat dilihat bahwa hasil belajar Dari 26 orang siswa yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini, ternyata hanya 11 orang siswa (42,3%) yang sudah memiliki ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan selebihnya yaitu 15 orang siswa (57,7%) belum memiliki ketuntasan belajar. Nilai rata – rata yang diperoleh hanya mencapai 63,6. Dari 26 orang siswa yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini, ternyata hanya 19 orang siswa (73%) yang sudah memiliki ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan selebihnya yaitu 6 orang siswa (27%) belum memiliki ketuntasan belajar. Nilai rata – rata yang diperoleh hanya mencapai 70. Dari 26 orang siswa yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini, ternyata hanya 21 orang siswa (80,8%) yang sudah memiliki ketuntasan belajar, sedangkan selebihnya yaitu 5 orang siswa (19,2%) belum memiliki ketuntasan belajar. Nilai rata – rata yang diperoleh hanya mencapai 71,7.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, agama islam, dan metode kisah.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the teacher-centered learning that causes ability of low students’thinking. The purpose of this research is to know improvement of critical thinking ability, the learning independence of students  using PBL. The type of research is quasi experiment with the population  all of students SDN 067240 Medan Tembung and the sample in this study are the fourth grade students by taking two classes (experimental class and class control) of 50 students. The instrument used consists  of critical thinking skills and learning independence scales. Data are  analyzed by using  two-way ANAVA test. Based on the results of the analysis are obtained: (1) The improvement of critical thinking skills of students who are given problem-based learning is higher than students who are given conventional learning; (2) There is no interaction between learning with students 'early math ability to improve students' critical thinking ability; (3) The  increasing of the students in learning  independence  given problem based learning is higher than students who are given conventional learning. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested that problem based learning can  be used as an alternative for teachers to improve the ability of critical thinking  of students and learning independence of students.

Abstract

This study aims to knowing the relationship between parents and teachers todiscipline children in kindergartens throughout the East Medan sub-district. This researchis a descriptive correlational study. Data collection techniques through questionnaires andobservations. The population in this study were all kindergartens in the East Medan subdistrict which numbered 17 schools. The sample of this study amounted to 7 schoolsdetermined by simple random sampling. The data analysis technique uses productmoment correlation. The results achieved in the study are that there is a significantrelationship between cooperative relations and teachers to discipline children inkindergartens in the East Medan sub-district. The results of the product momentcorrelation between parent and teacher collaboration with child discipline are obtained bythe results of tcount > t table (3.05> 2.04), then the hypothesis testing is significant with Haresults accepted and H0 rejected.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research) yang dilaksanakan di SDN 060809 Medan dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 22 orang. Objek penelitian adalah penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPS Dan Membentuk Karakter Siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh dari skenario pembelajaran, lembar Observasi Angket Karaktersiswa, dan Tes Hasil Belajar siswa. Hasil validasi terhadap perangkat dalam kategori (dapat digunakan dengan beberapa revisi) dan hasil uji coba intrumen tes memiliki reliabilitas 0,97 atau sangat tinggi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus dan tes diberikan pada setiap akhir siklus. Hasil analisis data pada siklus II diperoleh hasil : (1) Pembentukan Karakter Siswa telah memenuhi persentase yang ditetapkan yaitu 91%; (2) Nilai tes hasil belajar sebesar 95,45% dari jumlah siswa yang mengikuti tes telah berhasil. Berdasarkan hasil pada siklus II dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dapat membentuk Karakter siswa dan Hasil Belajar siswa. Keberhasilan tersebut terjadi dengan berbagai revisi-revisi tindakan berdasarkan hasil refleksi terhadap proses dan hasil pembelajaran.

Abstract

Classroom action research aims to improve the activity and student learning outcomes with the application of inquiry learning methods. The study consisted of 2 cycles of the number of students 25. Collecting data using achievement test, student questionnaire responses, and observations of students in learning activities with the method of inquiry.Data analysis using quantitative techniques and qualitative techniques by linking existing data. The analysis showed: (1) an increase in the activity of the students are in the first cycle of acquisition activity by 61.25% students and 75.63% with enough categories. In the second cycle increased to 92.50% with very good category. (2) an increase in student learning outcomes in the first cycle is the average value of student learning outcomes for cognitive assessment was increased to 82 disiklus 60 to II with the percentage of students who obtained excellent learning predicate 96%. For the assessment of students psychomotor also increased in the first cycle is the highest score obtained by the students increased 3.30 to 3.40 in the second cycle with the percentage of students who received either 72% predicate learning. For the assessment of affective (honest, discipline and cooperation) also increased in the first cycle is 12% to 48%. Based on the above results it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry method can improve the activity and learning outcomes of students in the fourth grade SDN.060843 Medan

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini ialah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara Bahasa Indonesia dan menurunnya aktifitas belajar di kelas V  SD Negeri Peudaya Kecamatan Padang Tiji Kabupaten Pidie, mengharuskan peneliti melakukan pembelajaran dengan metode role playing pada materi ajar drama untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa dan meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri Peudaya Kecamatan Padang Tiji Kabupaten Pidie. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi wawancara, dekumentasi, lembar observasi guru dan lembar observasi siswa pada saat melakonkan drama pendek.”Ini Sepeda Siapa?” Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh: (1). Penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode role playing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa. Hal ini diketahui dari rata-rata nilai kemampuan berbicara siswa sebelum dilakukan penelitian yaitu ≥65. Setelah dilakukan tindakan, hasil rata-rata penilaian kemampuan berbicara pada siklus I sebesar 65,4 kemudian siklus II  80,5 atau meningkat sebesar 15,3 dari siklus I. Perolehan rata-rata kemampuan berbicara melalui metode role playing meningkat dan berhasil, (2). Penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode role playing dapat meningkatkan aktivitas kemampuan berbicara siswa. Hal ini diketahui dari aspek penilaian kegiatan siswa mencapai 87,61% pada siklus II. Aktivitas pembelajaran dengan metode role playing sangat menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa sehingga memberikan motivasi dalam berbicara. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh diharapkan memberikan informasi bagi guru dan sekolah untuk menggunakan metode role playing untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SD Negeri Peudaya Kecamatan Padang Tiji Kabupaten Pidie. Selain itu perlu ditingkatkan aktivitas belajar dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Kata kunci: kemampuan berbicara, bahasa Indonesia, role playing, materi drama.
