Jurnal Tematik merupakan media komunikasi para akademisi, guru dan pemerhati dunia pendidikan dalam perspektif kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan hasil penelitian, refleksi dan kajian kritis yang aktual berkenaan dengan tema-tema pendidikan, seperti kebijakan atau regulasi pendidikan, kurikulum, inovasi pembelajaran (kajian materi, pendekatan, model, metode, media dan evaluasi belajar) dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan dasar. Jurnal Tematik adalah jurnal berkala ilmiah berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian pendidikan dasar pada fokus aspek-aspek yang berkaitan dengan kependidikan. Jurnal tematik merupakan jurnal nasional bermitra bestari yang diterbitkan tiga kali setahun dalam bentuk cetak dan online oleh Program Studi Pendidikan Dasar Pascasarjana, Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia. Abstract

Karya tulis ini merupakan laporan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan  oleh peneliti dengan kegiatan yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan menerapkan model  pembelajaran Koperatif Tipe Jigsaw. Untuk  ini dilakukan penelitian di kelas VII (TUJUH)  SMP Negeri 37 Medan dengan  memilih kelas tindakan, yaitu kelas VII-2 dengan siswa yang berjumlah 34 orang. Pembelajaran berlangsung secara baik dan menggembirakan, siswa aktif mengikuti pembelajaran, sehingga hasilnya pun cukup signifikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar dan kemandirian para siswa di sekolah. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan medel pembelajaran Koperatif Tipe Jgsaw terdapat peningkatan hasi belajar yang cukup signifikan. Nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum dilaksanakannya tindakan adalah 50,55. Setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa terjadi penurunan yaitu 65,29. Kemudian pada siklus II yaitu setelah dilaksanakannya tindakan sebagai refleksi dari siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa naik menjadi 77,64. Tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa sebelum dilakukan tindakan adalah 10,10 %, setelah tindakan pada siklus I turun menjadi 49,11 % dan pada siklus II naik sehingga menjadi 81,23 % Demikian pula perubahan aktifitas siswa, terjadi peningkatan terhadap minat dan kemauan siswa untuk belajar. Tingkat kehadiran rata-rata siswa pada siklus I adalah 90 %, pada siklus II menjadi 97,5 %. Dalam melakukan aktivitas pembelajaran telah terjadi perubahan tingkah laku yang cukup baik.

Abstract

The research is intended to produce textbook-based IPS valid local culture with the demands of the curriculum and the local context and determine the effectiveness of the products are developed textbook. The subjects were all students in the fourth grade at SDN Blang Kucak, SDN Blang Benara and Suka Makmur. The development model used is Dick & Carey adapted to guide the development of procedures by Sa'adun Akbar. Research procedure starting from problem identification, curriculum analysis, design and deployment. The results showed that the product developed textbooks are valid through several stages of revision / repairs. The percentage of the value obtained, among others: (a) the feasibility of discussion (96%), (b) the feasibility of Contents (93%), (c) eligibility Presentation (91%), (d) practitioners 1 (94%), (e) 2 practitioners (95%), (f) the practitioner 3 (95%). For product effectiveness textbook then tested the students, following the results of the acquisition of classical percentage of student learning outcomes: (a) one to one phase of 70%, (b) the evaluation of a small group of 77.26%, and (c) limited trial 85, 71%. Based on this test, at a meeting of the three products already meet evectiveness product textbook that students achieve mastery of classical minimum of 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to compare: (1) High-level thinking skills and (2) Retention ofstudents' memory in respiratory system material in humans who are taught by usingpower point media and learning video media on respiratory system material in humans.This quasi-experimental study was conducted at SD RK No. 3 Sibolga City, with asample of 2 classes determined by cluster random sampling technique. The results of thestudy showed: (1) the high-level thinking skills of students who were taught with learningvideo media were better than students who were taught with power point media (63.06:56.96) which were significantly statistically significant (t = 2.100; p = 0.040), likewise(2) memory retention of students taught with learning video media is better than studentstaught with power point media (83.28: 78.03) which is significantly different (t = 2.728; p= 0.008 ) It is expected that the teacher can use learning video media in the material ofhuman respiratory system in an effort to improve students 'high-level thinking skills andstudents' natural science memory retention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (a) Implementation of the method Kindergarten watching Earthquake Preparedness can be applied by early childhood educators in kindergarten Sheikh Abdurrauf Blang Oi of Banda Aceh, (b) Methods of Kindergarten watching Earthquake Preparedness able to give effect to the Visual Spatial intelligence and kinesthetic child in kindergarten Sheikh Abdurrauf Blang Oi of Banda Aceh. This type of research is the development of research (Research and development/R & D) 4-D models ( define, design, develop and disseminate). This study was conducted in kindergarten Sheikh Abdurrauf Blang Oi of Banda Aceh with the population and sample research is TK B total of 38 children. This research was carried out for 2 months beginning with the initial survey instrument to school and discussions with teachers and test instrument October, research in 17 to 22 November 2014, resumed last date of 6-10 January 2015 data processing is done in January-February 2015. The instrument used in this study is an informal test sheets for children, observation sheets visual spatial abilities of children, teacher observation sheets and sheets impression guru.teknik data analysis is to use a statistical formula, in this study because it used a single sample test formula t for a single group. Based on the results of the calculation of the t value obtained 8.070 while the value t table is 2.028 so that t is greater than t table t>t table, 8.070>2.028 so it can be concluded that there are significant watching kindergarden learning to stimulation of visual spatial intelligence and kinesthetic child. This data is also strengthened by the observation of the child more memrikan positive responses than negative responses. Overall it can be concluded that children who give a positive response are 32 people from 38 children (84.21%) and negative responses 6 of 38 children (15.79%)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Perbedaan pengaruh strategi pembelajaran PQ4R dan strategi pembelajaran konvensional terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks narasi, 2) Perbedaan pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks narasi. 3) Interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran  dan motivasi belajar  terhadap hasil belajar kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks narasi.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen semu. Penelitian dilaksanakan bulan Mei sampai Juni 2015. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 040448 Kabanjahe banyaknya 83 orang yang ditentukan secara acak dengan teknik random sampling. Adapun sampelnya adalah kelas VA sebanyak 43 orang sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas VB sebanyak 40 orang sebagai kelas ekperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varian dua jalur.Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: (1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks narasi siswa yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran PQ4R (= 152 kpm) lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan membaca pemahaman yang diajar dengan strategi pembelajaran konvensional (= 142 kpm), hasil analisis varian menunjukkan nilai Fhitung sebesar 4,875 >nilai Ftabel sebesar 2,33dan nilai probabilitas atau signifikansi 0,015 < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak; (2) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa dengan motivasi tinggi (= 155 kpm) dan siswa yang memiliki motivasi rendah (= 155 kpm), hasil analisis varian diperoleh nilai Fhitung sebesar 0,099<nilai Ftabel sebesar 2,68 dan nilai signifikan 0,275 > 0.05, sehingga H0 diterima; (3) Terdapat interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kemampuan membaca pemahaman teks narasi siswa, hasil analisis varian nilai Fhitung sebesar 375,7>nilai Ftabel sebesar 19,30dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak. Kata kunci: strategi pembelajaran, motivasi belajar, kemampuan membaca pemahaman.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning media using Adobe Flash on science subjects in class V 050660 Public Elementary School Kwala Bingai that meet the criteria of valid, practical and effective. This research refers to the 4-D model. The findings of the research are: 1) learning devices produced, in the form of: CD-shaped Learning Media has met the criteria for good / valid; 2) the effectiveness of learning devices is concluded based on the post-test results of students in the first trial the percentage of classical completeness was 86% with 30 students or 88% declared complete. And 4 students or 12% were declared incomplete. 3) Practicality of learning media for students is concluded based on teacher responses and student responses; (i) student responses to learning media in the first trial amounting to 82.36% of students stated that the media was practical, (ii) response (ii) teacher response to learning media in the first trial reached 91.67% included in the very practical category. Assessment of student learning outcomes based on the pretest and posttest was analyzed using N-Gain obtained by the average value of gain of 0.7 where in the high category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of experimental methods to improve student learning outcomes in science learning in class V SDN 014648 Padang Mahondang. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The research subjects were students in grade V SDN 014648 Padang Mahondang, totaling 25 students. Data collection instruments used were written tests in the form of multiple choices, observation sheets, observations of teacher and student activities, and photo results. The results of the study stated that learning science through experimental methods can improve learning outcomes in science subjects. This is evident in the initial conditions before completing the action percentage of 28% completeness, the first cycle of 56% completeness percentage, completeness learning cycle I still has not been achieved. In the second cycle the percentage of completeness was 92%. In this second cycle learning completeness has been achieved. Abstract

This study is aimed to describe the feasibility of civics textbook for seventh grade in Curriculum 2013 in terms of aspect of the content/ material, the presentation based on a scientific approach, the presentation based on an authentic assessment, language, and graphic and also factors cause of publication of civics textbook which has not appropriate with the demands of Curriculum 2013. The problems is discussed in this study are how feasibility of civics textbook for seventh grade in Curriculum 2013 reviewed by those various aspects. This study is a descriptive content analysis. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique which is civics textbook for seventh grade in Curriculum 2013. Data was collected by questionnaire, documentation, interviews, and literature technique. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques, statistical hypothesis with one sample t test, and analysis of qualitative. The results showed: (1) some aspects of the content / material in the textbook are still in need of improvement, (2) textbooks generally has not enough to encourage the learning activities carried out by the scientific approach, (3) component of authentic assessment has been accommodated in the book, (4) some aspects of language are still need of improvement, (5) some aspects of the graphics are still need of improvement, (6) the factors that cause the emergence in the problem of the book are compilation of the textbook is still trapped on cognitive aspects, civics used as a tool to perpetuate power, and the difficulties to implement book valuation with multilevel mechanism. The conclusions acquired in this study are: (1) aspects of conformity contents/ materials and participation skills have not complied the feasibility standards, while civic knowledge, intellectual skills, and civic dispositons have complied the the feasibility standard, (2) aspects of the scientific approach has not complied the feasibility standard, (3) aspects of authentic assessment has complied the feasibility standard, (4) aspects of language has not complied the feasibility standard, (5) aspect of graphics has not complied the feasibility standard, and (6) the factors that cause the emergence in the problem of the book are compilation of the textbook is still trapped on cognitive aspects, civics used as a tool to perpetuate power, and the difficulties to implement book valuation with multilevel mechanism

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain a factual description of teacher’s readiness in the implementation of authentic assessment for attitude domain in elementary schools Tebingtinggi. The problems of this study were the lack of socialization and training provided to the teacher, the teachers were still not optimal in the process of implementing the assessment was still considered very difficult. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative research. The fourth grade teachers at 3 different elementary schools, SD Negeri 163080, SD Negeri 163084 and SD Swasta Inti Nusantara Tebing Tinggi. Data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis from interviews, observation and documentation showed that the readiness of teachers authentic assessment for attitude domain implementation was still not ready.

Abstract

This study aims to produce social studies based social studies teaching materials on historical relic materials. This type of research is development research with the Dick & Carey development model. The results showed that: (1) the learning outcomes obtained by the experimental class were higher than the learning outcomes obtained by the control class. This was seen in the results of the pre test and post test conducted by researchers. At the time of the pre-test of 31 students in class IV-A only 13 people (41.94%) completed, while another 18 people (58.06%) did not complete with RRK 60. While in class IV-B out of 34 students only 10 people (29.41%) who finished, as many as 24 more people (70.59%) had not finished with RRK 56.03. At the time of the post-test of class IV-A as many as 28 students (90.32%) had completed only 3 more people (9.68%) who did not complete with RRK 68.71. While from class IV-B as many as 33 people (97.06%) had been completed, the remaining 1 person (2.94%) who had not completed the RRK was 73.82. (2) The validity of the product also gets a very good value, it is proven from the values obtained from the four validators, namely: material validation score 3.62 (90.63%), language validation score 3.75 (93.75%), the media validation score was 3.69 (92.19%), and the learning design validation score was 4.00 (100%).
