Abstract

This study aims to improve speaking skills of children aged 5-6 through methods Story Reading in TK Melati/ ABA 005 Pulau Balai. The method used is a Class Action Research. Class actions that researchers do the research is to use the method Story Reading to improve speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in TK Melati/ ABA 005 Pulau Balai, and is observed by the observer. Samples taken are TK Melati/ ABA 005 Pulau Balai with the number of children of 20 people, consisting of 13 men and 7 women. Data collection techniques in this research is through observation of teachers and children as well as data capability speaking children aged 5-6 years with use of methods Story Reading. Hipotesis in this study is if the method will be applicable Story Reading can improve speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in TK Melati/ ABA Pulau Balai 005 can be enhanced through storytelling. Results of the research data obtained by using the method Story Reading can improve the ability to speak of children aged 5-6 years in TK Melati/ ABA 005 Pulau Balai. The percentage increase in the ability to speak the child at the age of 5-6 years using Story Reading methods in TK Melati/ ABA 005 Pulau Balai, from initial data to the second cycle increased by 32.2%. The implication of this study is the use of methods Story Reading used properly, can improve speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years in TK Melati/ ABA 005 Pulau Balai.

Abstract

The background of this study is the teaching and learning process in the classroom VB SDN 002 Bagan Besar, Dumai in social studies that are still dominated by teachers so that students become passive blindly accept the material provided by the teacher and the learning outcomes are not satisfactory with an average value below KKM. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of the method of discussion, both individually and classically on learning outcomes in the VB class IPS Subjects in SDN 002 Bagan Besa Kecamatan Bukit Kapur, Dumai. The study was conducted for 32 students consisting of 20 men and 12 women. Data were collected through observation by the observer uses observation sheets to the data the method of discussion, and through postes unutuk learning outcomes data. The results showed that the method of discussion individually significant influence on student learning outcomes. Where 28 people declared complete their study of 32 students. Seen in the classical, was the method of discussion is also a significant influence, namely the classical completeness gain of 87.53%, with an average score 75.31. This means that the discussion method can improve student learning outcomes either individually or classical.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine the effectiveness of learning tactical and technical approach to the learning outcomes of football skills. Results of this study are expected to be used as an alternative solution in order to develop the quality of learning football. The method used in this study is the experimental method to the design of post-only design. The population in this study were students of class XI SMA Labschool son UPI Bandung as many as 60 students. The sampling technique using purposive sampling technique. When the study is over 2 months, the number of 18 treatment sessions, with a frequency of 1 week 3 times. Author chosen instrument is a test of football skill and playing ability test (GPAI) for high school students football skills tests (test start and end of the football skills). There are four authors use the test passing and stoping, heading, dribbling, and shooting and playing ability test (GPAI). Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is a significant effect of learning tactical approach to the learning outcomes of football skills. (2) There is a significant effect of technical learning approach to the learning outcomes of football skills. (3) There are differences in the effect of tactical and technical learning approach towards learning outcomes football skills, but more tactical approach a significant impact on learning outcomes of football skills than technical learning approach.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that is found in the class V Elementary School 24 Pekanbaru, which shows the results of learning science is still relatively low. Formulation the problem in this research is: "Does the application of Quantum Teaching Learning model can improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of SD Negeri 24 Pekanbaru?". This research aims to improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of SD Negeri 24 Pekanbaru with application of learning models Quantum Teaching. While the benefits of this research is to change students' views on learning science that uses methods of lecture and rote learning into a creative, innovative, and fun. The hypothesis of this study is that if applied learning model Quantum Teaching it can improve learning outcomes fifth grade science students of SD Negeri 24 Pekanbaru. This study was conducted in SD Negeri 24 Pekanbaru in March 2015 and April 2015. This form of research is classroom action research (PTK) are planned as much as two cycles. The subjects were students of class V Elementary School 24 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015 which amounted to 26 people consisting of 14 men and 12 women. Based on the results of research and discussion in mind the observation of teacher activity sheet seen rising each meeting. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 66.24%, the second meeting rose 8.8% to 245%. While in the first meeting of the second cycle of 83.3%, then at the second meeting increased 12.5% to 95.8%. Student activity observation sheet also increased at every meeting. At the first meeting of the first cycle of 62.5%, the second meeting increased 8.3% to 240.8%. While in the first meeting of the second cycle 249.2%, then at the second meeting increased 12.5% to 91.24%. Mastery learning outcomes to repeat the first cycle increased 19.23% from the base score of 42.31% to 61.54%. In the second cycle increased by 26.92% to 88.46%. With the increasing number of students who pass the study in the classical style, then the learning outcomes of students also increased. It can be seen from the average value in the base score 65.38 UH then the first cycle to 69.08 with an increase of 5.66%. Whereas the second cycle of the average value of UH becomes 85.54 with an increase of 23.83%. So that research results are consistent with the hypothesis.

Abstract

The fundamental problem of science teacher while teaching in class VIII 2 SMP Negeri 1 Bukit Batu are students less skilled think to learn, afraid to ask and argue and difficulties in solving the story, learning outcomes IPA quite low, and the props are still enough/less attractive and others. The achievement of value UH in the pre-cycle to all who completed 4 people (17.4%) and incomplete 19 (82.6%), and in the first cycle students completed 14 (60.8%) and 9 are not complete (39.2%), while in the second cycle students who completed 21 (91.3%) and incomplete is 8.7%. Through the implementation of this model seen an increase in the activities of teachers and students as well as student learning outcomes. The implications of this research can be used as a basis for the development of the next class research and can be used as an alternative learning models and improve cognitive, effective, and psychomotor.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the learning outcomes through the use of maps. The subjects were students of class V SD 007 Bagan Besar, Dumai with held consisting of two cycles. Improved learning outcomes in terms of four categories, namely absorption, the effectiveness of learning, mastery learning completeness students both individually and classical completeness and thoroughness of learning outcomes. The instrument used for data collection is an oral test and a written test in the form of worksheets that is done after the process of learning. The results showed absorption learning outcomes on average 80% considered very good, very effective learning effectiveness categorized by an average of 8.5. While the completeness of student learning outcomes expressed complete 100%.
