Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze effect of career development and motivation on job satisfaction and the influence of career development, motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance.. What research is at Kendal Regional Secretariat, the study sample totaled 101 respondents, using purposive sampling method, with a minimum of high school education criteria and years> 5 years. Measurements using a Likert scale of 7 (seven) alternative answers. The results of the regression analysis for the first model produced coefficient of determination equal to 0679, which means that the ability of the independent variables in explaining the variation in the dependent variable (the variable job satisfaction) of 67.9%, the remaining 32.1% is explained by other variables outside the model. As for the second model in the coefficient of determination equal to 0530, which means that the ability of the independent variables in explaining the variation in the dependent variable (the variable performance of employees) by 53%, the remaining 47% is explained by other variables outside the model. This study demonstrates (1) career development and employee motivation positive effect on job satisfaction, (2) career development has positive effect on employee performance, (3) job satisfaction has positive effect on employee performance, while (4) does not affect employee motivation employee performance . The results also showed that career development, employee motivation and job satisfaction are jointly positive effect. Abstract

This study aims to identify and examine the effect of Professional Competence, Discipline and Motivation on the Performance of State Yunior High School teachers in Kudus Sampling was done by using Simple Random Sampling Proportional. Of samples used in this study amounted to 229 people. Engineering test data used in this study include test validity with factor analysis the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO), reliability tests with Cronbach alpha formula, Classical Assumption Test (Test Normality, Multicollinearity Test, Test Glejser) and Test Model Fit  The results showed that the professional competence has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance .. Discipline has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance. Motivation has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance. Abstract

This study aims to identify and examine the influence of discipline, work ethic on the performance of job satisfaction with mediation that takes teachers of public Junior High School in Kudus Regency as the object. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. From the results of purposive sampling, the samples used in this study are 204 people. Data testing techniques used in the study are test validity with factor analysis, reliability tests with Cronbach alpha formula, the multiple regression analysis, and tests of significance, the coefficient of determination to prove the truth of the hypothesis and test mediation. The results shows that the variable of headmaster leadership, work motivation, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant influence on performance. Abstract

This aim of this study to identify and examine the influence of principal leadership, organizational climate of teachers performance in junior high school by using moderation comitment organizational, the object of this study is SMP teachers in Kudus regency. The technique of sampling used Proportional Random Sampling. From the results of the Proportional random sampling are 229 teacchers as sample. The mechanical examination data used analysis factor of validity test,  reliability test by using Cronbach alpha formula, regression analysis, and significance test determination coefficient is used to prove the hypothesis and moderation test. The study showed that: variable organizational commitment gave good influence in moderating the principal leadership and organizational climate of teachers performance . The leadership of principal and organizational climate give positive and significant influence teachers performance. Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the effect of personality and organizational culture on performance mediated by the Organizational Commitment Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Pati. This research was conducted with a purposive sampling method and implemented in Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Pati. Technical test data used in this study include validitas test, reliability test, multiple regression analysis, t test, and mediation test to verify and prove the hypothesis of the research. Tested the validity of data collected by viewing at the magnitude of the KMO values above 0.5 and the loading factors above 0.4 could be declared valid. The results demonstrate the validity of the KMO test for personality is 0.870, KMO test for organizational culture is 0.847. KMO test for Organizational commitment is 0.822 and KMO test for the performance is 0.922. It can be said that all variables declared valid. Its reliability test showed the 0.899 for personality, 0.947 for organizational culture, 0,872 for organizational commitment and 0.905 for performance. These show that all variables are reliable. From the analysis and discussion show that a significant positive influence personality on organizational commitment, significantly positive effect of organizational culture on organizational commitment, personality is a significant positive effect on performance, organizational culture significantly positive effect on performance and organizational commitment significantly positive effect on performance. Strong influence of personality is directly compared to the performance through the mediation of organizational commitment. Moreover of Organizational culture has strong directly influence compared toward the performance through the mediation of organizational commitment. Abstract

The purpose of this study to examine and analyze the effect of principal’s leadership and motivation on teacher performance mediated organizational commitment. The object of research is a public primary school teachers in the District Education Tlogowungu Pati. The number of samples in this study is 111 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method.Technical test data used in this study include validity, reliability test, the classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, model test, t test and a test of mediation to test and prove the research hypothesis. KMO value of all variables in this study showed greater than 0.50 and the Cronbach alpha values above 0.6, which means the adequacy of the sample met ( valid ) and reliable. The results of the analysis and discussion showed that the principal's leadership has positive and significant impact on organizational commitment; motivation has positive and significant impact on organizational commitment; leadership principal’s have a positive and significant impact on teacher performance; motivation has positive and significant impact on teacher performance; commitment influential organizations positive and significant impact on teacher performance. Organizational commitment is not able to mediate the influence of either the principal's leadership and motivation on the performance of public primary school teachers in District Education Tlogowungu Pati. Abstract

This study aims to identify and examine  the influence of disciplinary, work ethic on the performance by mediationoragization commitment that takes an objectof primary school teachers in Pati subdistrict. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. From the result of purposive sampling, the sample was used in this study, totaling 156 people. Testing data technique which is used in this study include validity test by factor analysis, reliability test by Cronbach alpha formula, multiple regression analysis, and significance  tests, the coeffisien of determination to prove the hypothesis and mediation test. The result showed that the variables of organizational commitment proved to mediate the effect of discipline and work ethic on the performance of elementary school teachers in Pati subdistrict Pati regency. Discipline and work ethic has a positive and significant effect on performance. Discipline variable, work ethic and organization commitment to the performance influenced 51.7%. The remaining 48.3% is influence by other variables which is not included in the study.   Key word: discipline, work ethic, organization commitment, performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of professional competence and motivation on performance, moderated by the work discipline of  lecturer in Polytechnic State of Semarang. Based on that conditions, the title of this study is "The Effect of The Professional Competence and Work Motivation in The Lecturer Performance as Discipline of Mediating Variables (Empirical Study in the lecturer of Polytechnic State of Semarang)". The population of this study is 93 Lecturer of Polytechnic State of Semarang. Analysis of the data was using double linear regression. Based on this study that the professional competence does not affect in discipline of work, the motivation is affect in discipline of work, the professional competence does not affect the performance of lecturers, the motivation is effect on the performance of lectures, the disipline of work is effect on the performance of lecturer, the professional competence is mediate the discipline of work against the performance of lecturer because the indirect effect has great influence than the direct influence and discipline of work and the work motivation mediate the performance of lecturers for the indirect effect is smaller than the direct effect. Abstract

The aims of this research is to examine and analyze of transformational leadership, teacher collective efficacy and teachers organizational commitment on teacher performance. And examine and analyze of teachers organizational commitment to be mediation variable between transformational leadership and teacher collective efficacy on teacher performance. Population in this research is the teacher of SMK Swasta Se-Kota Semarang with a total data sample of 340 respondents are taken randomly from 72 SMK in Semarang City. To test the hypothesis proposed in this model used 59 indicators variables studied. The results of data analysis shows there is positive effect and significant between transformational leadership and teacher collective efficacy on teachers organizational commitment. There is positive effect and significant between transformational leadership and teachers organizational commitment on teacher performance. There are positive effect and no significant between teacher collective efficacy on teacher performance. The test results indicate mediation of variable teachers organizational commitment have been mediated the transformational leadership and teacher collective efficacy on teacher performance. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership on job satisfaction with the mediation of motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) at the Agricultur Extension Board (Badan Pelaksana Penyuluh) of the Temanggung Regency in 2012. The population in this study was  civil servant at the Agricultur Extension Board in 20 districts in of the Temanggung Regencywith the members of 110 employees. The number of data treated from respondents and there are 104 respondents. The study found that Transformational Leadership, Motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) positive effect on Job Satisfaction. Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) more influence than Transformational Leadership and motivation have in job satisfaction with the of compare and respecticaly. while the percentage of mediation effect either through motivation, Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) or with motivation and Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB), respecticaly. Therefore direct influence is more substantial than the influence of mediation. Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Motivation, Organizational Citizenship Behaviour (OCB) and Job Satisfaction
