Abstract

The Reform movement that occured in Indonesia affect the livelihood in the field og governance. It is characterized by the formation of the regional Autonomy law and then updated with the law om local goverment. which in principle has been to change the system of goverment in Indonesia that will ultimately influence in the role of the civil servants of the demand a paradigm shift in completing task work as an apparatus which is concerned on duty. The research was conducted at PNS employee Revenue Service Unit and Asset Empowerment in Central Java Provincial Coordinator Pekalongan view using sensus method. All of the sample population and as many  as 115 people a decent processed questionaires were 108 questionair. The result of regression testing  obtained result Adjusted R square of 0.828 mean that the change of variables can be explained by the variable performance wok that the variable are jointly working environment of 82.8%. As for the F test showed that the varibles are jointly working ability and commitment affect organizational performance. based on known significant partial regression testing environment on performance is o.o18 <0.05. the significant of the ability to work on performance is 0.000 <0.05 and the significant of organizational commitment to performance is 0.000 <0.05. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the independent variables of profitability, asset structure, firm size, firm growth, and non-debt tax shield against leverage. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling at manufacturing companies which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2009 to 2011.  In total, 88 companies that made profits for three consecutive years obtained as a sample. The data used in this study are secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, derived from the financial statements of listed manufacturing companies in the period of 2009 to 2011. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regressions. During the observation period of observational data indicates that the number of 264 samples were obtained a number of 239 samples were ready to be processed after the data outliers removed. Based on the results of the study, there were no variables that deviate from normality test and the classical assumption test. The analysis of the data showed that the profitability showed a significant negative effect on leverage. Company Size, non-debt tax shield showed a significant positive effect, negative asset structure is not significantly effect on leverage, while positive firms’ growth is not significantly effect on leverage. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of pricing strategy and product strategy for the brand equity and its impact on purchasing decisions and loyalty. The population in this study is their (consumer) users in the holy AC Polytron with minimal use of one year. Sampling was done by using "purposive sampling" so that the samples taken can represent the study population. Engineering test data used in this study include the test instrument consisting of validity and reliability, the test model consists of regression and coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. From the analysis of the path lines can be seen that the direct effect of price and product purchase decisions indirect effect of price and product purchase decisions, so the track is better research is not through brand equity. Variable pricing, products and brand equity together - together have accounted for 61.8% of the purchasing decisions AC Polytron users. While the remaining 38.2% is influenced by other variables not included in this study Keywords: pricing strategy, product strategy, brand equity, loyalty and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the image, quality of service, promotion, price perceptions have a positive effect on the creation of customer satisfaction and to analyze the creation of customer satisfaction has a positive effect on customer loyalty. The object of this study is Carrefour customers in Semarang research method using SPSS analysis requires that a representative sample to be used in other research. Regression analysis equations I know the coefficient of determination or R ajusted 0.647. This means that the effect of the independent variable is the image, quality of service, promotion, price perception and satisfaction on customer loyalty is equal to 64.7% or in other words, changes in customer loyalty variation can be explained by the image, quality of service, promotion, price perception with 64, 7%, while 35.3% is influenced by other variables not examined. The results of the analysis of the variable image, quality of service, promotion, price perception, customer satisfaction and customer loyalty shows that image, quality of service, promotion, price perception and customer satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty variables, shows that the higher the effect of each each independent variable is the image, quality of service, promotion, price perception and customer satisfaction, the customer will be more loyal. Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the organization is able to mediate the effect of the commitment of the leadership and organizational climate to employee performance Kudam IV / Diponegoro, as well as to determine whether either partially or jointly, variable leadership, organizational climate and organizational commitment affect employee performance. This research was conducted with explanatory method, the research aims to prove the truth of the hypothesis that previously existed. Analysis techniques are used factor analysis to test the validity of data, analysis of Cronbach alpha test for reliability of data, regression testing, conformance model (test determinants) and mediation test to test and prove the research hypothesis. The analysis and discussion of this study demonstrate that the partial and together, the variables of leadership, organizational climate and organizational commitment in a positive and significant impact on employee performance Kudam IV / Diponegoro. Of the three variables, organizational commitment that contributed the most impact leadership variable 0.490 followed by 0.274 and the smallest contribution by organizational climate influence for 0,201. Mediation test showed that organizational commitment can only mediate the effect of organizational climate on performance, while the latter can not be mediated by leadership commitment organisasonali. These results indicate that in order to improve employee performance Kudam IV / Diponegoro, the things that need to be improved first priority is to increase organizational commitment and leadership at the agency.   Keywords: leadership, organizational climate, organizational commitment, performance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of leadership and job characteristics on social capital and organizational commitment. The research was conducted in the General Administration Assistant Secretary of Semarang, respondents who used as many as 84 employees. The instruments used in this study is a questionnaire, the research instrument in this study has been qualified validity and reliability. Measurement validity with factor analysis showed all the indicator role in the research instruments have Loading Factor above 0.4 with a value of KMO sample adequacy or condition is above 0.5. Reliability tests of the variables studied has proven its reliability or konsistensiya, because it has a Cronbach alpha greater than 0.6. Technical analysis of data using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that leadership and job characteristics and significant positive effect on social capital, as well as the influence of leadership, job characteristics, and social capital and significant positive effect on organizational commitment. The results showed two equation model used for this study were eligible goodness of fi. The results of hypothesis testing showed that leadership and job characteristics positive effect on social capital and organizational commitment. Leadership has a dominant influence both the social capital and organizational commitment. Social capital was not a good influence mediating variable between leadership and job characteristics on employee performance, but the factor of social capital have tended to reinforce its influence on organizational commitment. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan pegawai terhadap komitmen organisasional dan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Penggunaan variable-variabel dalam variable penelitian tersebut mengacu pada hasil penelitian terdahulu. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lingkungan Badan Kesatuan Bangsa Politik  Dan Perlindungan Masyarakat Kota Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survey, dengan responden yang diteliti sebanyak 93 pegawai, Teknik analisis regresi berganda, dengan dua model persamaan yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan terhadap komitmen organisasional, dan pengembangan karir, pemberdayaan dan komitmen organisasional terhadap organizational citizenship behavior.  Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini memenuhi syarat validitas maupun reliabilitas. Pengukuran validitas dengan analisis faktor menunjukkan semua indicator dalan intrumen penelitian mempunyai Loading Faktor. Uji reliabilitas terhadap variabel yang ditelititelah teruji keandalannya atau konsistensiya, karena mempunyai Alpha Cronbach lebih besar dari 0.6. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua model tersebut secara signifikan (kurang dari 5%) mampu menjelaskan perubahan variable terikatnya dengan nilai adjusted R square mendekati angka 1, sehingga model tersebut memenuhi syarat goodness of fit. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan berpengaruh positif terhadap komitmen organisasional. Demikian juga pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan  serta komitmen organisasional juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa ternyata komitmen organisasional bukan berupakan faktor yang memediasi pengaruh pengembangan karir dan pemberdayaan  terhadap organizational citizenship behavior, tetapi fakor komitmen organisasional mempunyai kecenderungan memperkuat pengaruhnya  terhadap organizational citizenship behavior.   Kata Kunci :    pengembangan karir, pemberdayaan, komitmen organisasional, dan organizational citizenship behavior

Abstract

The implementation of regional autonomy are basicaly local independence, which is characterized by the ability of local governments to manage taxes and levies. The results of tax revenues and user fees are used to funding local development, which directly and indirectly affect the welfare of society. This research aims to know the influence of the local taxes, levies and capital expenditures per capita income in the municipality in Central Java Province The data was used in this research is secondary data, ie data taxes and levies, capital expenditure data were sourced from the the Ministry of Finance, and per capita income data sourced from the Central Statistical Office  of Central Java The results of the analysis was known that the regional tax and levies had positive impact on capital spending. Local taxes is also had a positive impact on per capita income, while the levies and capital expenditures have a negative effect on income per capita   Keywords: Local Taxes, Levies, capital expenditures and income per capita

Abstract

Human resources management is the planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring the activities of procurement, development compensation, integration, maintenance, and release of human resources in order to achieve various goals of individuals, organizations and communities. This phenomenon happens, that employees of the Department of Agriculture and Forestry District Rembang still assume that the work is done in the routine of everyday life so that no morale and motivation. In addition, many employees who work not optimal due to dissatisfaction with the workplace, occupation and employer. In this study, the population is all employees in the Department of Agriculture and Forestry District Rembang as many as 110 employees. Sampling is to be respondents in this study is using the census, where every member of the population as a whole serve as a sample. The number of respondents who were sampled as many as 110 employees in the Department of Agriculture and Forestry District Apex. Significance value of the test variable individual characteristics and job characteristics on performance through motivation and satisfaction suggests there is a hypothesis that rejected the job characteristics have a positive but not significant effect on satisfaction. The results also proved that the variable motivation and satisfaction does not mediate individual characteristic variables and job characteristics on employee performance Agriculture and Forestry District Apex. Abstract

As we know that human resources, capital, and technology are all factors that are very important in creating a quality product and good governance. In addition to employee competence is an important factor in increasing the motivation and performance of employees there are also other factors that are not less important is transformational leadership. Another factor is no less important in the achievement of organizational goals is motivation and job satisfaction of employees or employee. Phenomena that occur in the District Secretariat Rembang include many consider continuing education as a condition for adjustment only diploma without being followed by the practice in the job. In addition, leadership is not supported by the appropriate educational background makes employees are not motivated to work. Taking the sample used in this study is proportional sampling method, the number of respondents as 104 employees at District Secretariat Apex. Significance value of the test variable and transformational leadership competencies to performance through motivation and satisfaction of the hypotheses are rejected there is no effect on the satisfaction of competence. The results also prove that the variables do not mediate motivation and satisfaction and competence variables of transformational leadership on employee performance Rembang District Secretariat.
