Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran berbasis STEM merupakan sistematika pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan prasarana pendukung digital mengakomodasi sains, teknologi, teknik dan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan analisis kebutuhan strategi pembelajaran fisika di era digital untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan Abad 21 mengakomodasi perbedaan gaya belajar dan pengetahuan awal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif. Adapun guru fisika, silabus dan materi pembelajaran fisika, serta siswa kelas XI sebagai objek penelitian. Instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari lembar pedoman wawancara, silabus fisika dan dokumen materi pembelajaran, dan lembar tes awal penalaran ilmiah dan performance berargumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh: 1). pengetahuan guru terkait strategi pembelajaran fisika berbasis STEM di era digital yang memfasilitasi keterampilan Abad 21 mengakomodasi perbedaan gaya belajar dan pengetahuan awal masih rendah, 2) materi pembelajaran fisika pada buku teks fisika dan LKS fisika siswa kelas XI belum mengakomodasi ragam gaya belajar dan pengetahuan awal dalam kategori cukup, 3) rata-rata pencapaian penalaran ilmiah dan performance berargumentasi siswa pada pembelajaran fisika siswa tergolong dalam kategori rendah

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menjadi kendala dalam melaksanakan kegiatan eksperiman secara langsung. Namun demikian dapat diatasi dengan percobaan interaktif menggunakan Virtual Lab yang sistematis dan memiliki akurasi yang baik. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan kegiatan praktikum secara virtual menggunakan simulasi PhET yang dipadukan dengan HOT-LAB guna mengetahui perbandingan antara virtual lab dengan real lab yang dipadu dengan HOT-Lab. Metode yang digunakan adalah dengan uji perbandingan dari hasil analisis data percobaan antara Data Analytics dan Graphic Analytics. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan selisih hasil virtual lab dengan real lab relatif pada batas nilai ralat. Hasil perhitungan berat (W) di udara pada m1 = 1 kg sebesar (9,51 ± 0,951) N, m2 = 2 kg diperoleh (19,32 ± 1,932) N, dan m3 = 5 kg diperoleh (45,6 ± 13,68) N. Sementara itu perhitungan berat (W) di medium air pada m1 = 1 kg yaitu (0,43 ± 0,043) N, m2 = 2 kg sebesar (9,615 ± 0,9615) N, dan untuk m3 =5 kg diperoleh (24,35 ± 4,87) N. Perhitungan selisih volume untuk m1 =1 kg sebesar (5,15x10-4 ± 0,0024) m3, m2 =2 kg diperoleh (1,2 x 10-3 ± 0,0035) m3, dan benda m3 =5 kg (2,66 x 10-3 ± 0,0115) m3. Berdasarkan data tersebut kenaikan grafik pada percobaan relatif sama, rasio perbandingan juga sama, meskipun nilai yang dihasilkan berbeda

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar IPA materi Karakteristik zat dan perubahannya. Jenis penelitian adalah ex-post facto dengan populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMPK Rokatenda Palue tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 48 siswa yang diperoleh dengan teknik proportionate simple random sampling. Data ditampilkan secara deskriptif dan diuji dengan perbedaan rata-rata melalui one sample t-test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan one sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh dari model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar yang ditunjukkan pada nilai signifikan 0,000 < 0,05 di mana H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA Materi Karakteristik Zat dan Perubahannya

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic that swept the world including Indonesia, and to improve students' critical thinking skills, it is necessary to have supporting media in the learning process as an edutainment website. This study intends to determine the validity of the edutainment website developed in physics lessons to improve student's critical thinking skills. The research method used is development research with the DDD-E model. This research was only limited to media development, and no practicality and effectiveness tests were carried out. In this study, the validity data were obtained from the results of validation by expert and were analyzed by descriptive quantitative using the category of Likert scale percentage. If the percentage of each aspect is ≥ 61%, then the edutainment website developed can be declared valid. The results of this study are the percentage of validity in the learning aspect of 90.30%, the material aspect of 90.56%, the media aspect of 88.65%, and the critical thinking aspect of 84.70%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the edutainment website is very valid so that it can be used as a physics learning media to improve students' critical thinking skills. The edutainment website can be an alternative learning media by utilizing information technology and hopefully in further research, it can apply edutainment website and perform practicality and effectiveness tests for learning both in class and distance learning

Abstract

This study aims to prove empirically the validity and reliability of Questionnaire on Students' Perceptions of STEM and Problem-solving (SPSP) in learning physics using Rasch model. The questionnaire was disseminated to 59 (N=59) students class XI MIPA in one of Senior High School in Kuningan Regency. Development of SPSP Questionnaire using procedure of product development model 4-D. The stages that will be used consists of four stages, namely: a) define, b) design, c) development, and disseminate. The data obtained were analyzed by means of the Rasch Model. Based on the result of the study, it shows that the SPSP questionnaire had high reliability that 0.90. So, it can be concluded that SPSP questionnaire is reliable and acceptable. While the item validity analysis shows that there are 8 valid items and 1 item does not match the MNSQ benchmark. Outfit value lies between 0.5 <MNSQ <1.5 and also does not meet the ZSTD Outfit criteria (-2.0 <ZSTD <2, 0). Meanwhile, the students' responses indicate that learning in school has not supported STEM activities and problem solving. So it is necessary to develop learning in schools that can support STEM activities and students' problem solving abilities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the creative thinking skills at optic instruments of Sundanese tribe, 11th-grade students. This research is a case study research conducted at a high school in Majalengka district, West Java. Totaling 32 students consisting of 12 male students, namely “Aa”, 20 female students, namely “Teteh”, and 18 Sundanese, the rest are immigrants. The instrument used is the Test for Creative Thinking-optical instrument (TCT-OI) which has existed validated by experts. The data found were investigated with Rasch Analysis Model (RAM). Based on the results of the analysis using the Rasch Analysis, it was found that the creative thinking ability of students stayed static low can be shown by the value of Person reliability which is 0.21 included in the weak category. There are variances in the level of creative thinking skills of students from the Sundanese and non-Sundanese tribes. As a result, it is necessary to develop creative thinking skill on the optical instrument, 11th grade students Sundanese tribe
