Abstract

AbstactThis study aims to determine the response of growth and production of onion crop from inorganic fertilizer and organic fertilizer with Group Randomized Factorial Design with two factors studied. The results showed that the provision of inorganic fertilizers significantly affect plant height parameter (the highest plant shown in A1, ie 31.31 cm at age 6 weeks after planting), number of leaves (most leaves are shown in A3, which is 22.00 strands at age 7 weeks after planting), root wet weight of plant samples (tuber toughest shown in A1, which is 141.71 g), tuber dry weight of plant samples (tuber toughest shown in A1, ie 74.58 g) and showed different results are not evident in the number of samples of plant bulbs, plant bulbs perplot number, tuber weight and wet weight of plant perplot perplot plant dry bulbs. On the provision of organic fertilizer significantly affect plant height parameter (the highest plant shown in O1, ie 31.54 cm at age 6 weeks after planting), number of leaves (largest leaf shown in O0, ie 21.33 strands at the age of 7 weeks after planting ), the number of tubers plant samples (tuber ever shown in O3, which is 4.33 bulb), wet weight of plant sample bulbs (tubers toughest shown in O1, which is 142.07 g), tuber dry weight of plant samples (tuber toughest shown in O1 , ie 74.83 g) and showed different results are not evident in the number of tubers perplot plants, tuber weight and wet weight of plant perplot perplot plant dry bulbs. Abstract

AbsrtactThe study aims to evaluate the growth response  and production of sweet corn with the treatment concentration and time interval giving NASA POC at a different level.  Group Randomized Factorial Design (RAK-F) with two factors were studied, namely: Liquid Organic Fertilizer Concentration Factors NASA (N) is divided into four standard No = No provision, N1 = 1.13 ml / 0.5 l of water / plot, N2 = 2.26 ml / 0.5 l of water / plot, N3 = 3.39 ml / 0.5 l of water / plot, Giving time and interval factors NASA POC (I) is divided into 3 time ie I1 = 1-week, I2 = 2 weeks and I3 = 3 weeks. While the parameters observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (pieces), cob length (cm), production per plot (kg), and contains a number of seeds per cob (seeds). The results showed that the concentration of POC NASA administration significantly influenced the parameters plant height, cob length, yield per plot, and contains a number of seeds per cob, but not significant different in the parameters of the leaf. As for the interval timing of NASA POC is not a real effect on all parameters of the observations. For the interaction between concentration and interval timing of NASA POC significant effect only on the cob and different length parameter is not significant at the other observation parameters.Keywords: Zea mays saccharat Sturt, concentraion dan time interval

Abstract

AbstractThe results showed that the value of the coefficient of determination R-square 0.93, can be interpreted that the simultaneous possession of fishing gear status factors, capital, work ethic and marketing types mentioned above were able to explain changes in fishing revenues 93%. Partially work ethic and marketing factors significantly affect the value t count> t table. While the status of the fishing gear and ownership of capital does not significantly affect the value of t calculated <t table against the income of fishermen in the 95% confidence level (a = 5%).Key words: marketing,  income of fishermen

Abstract

           The study aims to assess the effectiveness of a long draining cuttings in sandy soil media on the growth of frangipani cuttings (Adenium obesum). The results showed: Cuttings drained to increase as emerging shoots, number of shoots, number of leaves, number of roots and root length. Cuttings drained 8 hours tend to be significantly stimulated the growth of root cuttings Adenium on sandy soil media.Keywords: Draining, adenium, sandy soil media.

Abstract

This study aims to find ways of making mocaf  flour with a comparison of starter and a long fermentation on the quality of mocaf flour. This study uses a complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial. The results of statistical analysis on  each parameter : The number of a long fermentation different effect not significant (p≥0.05) on moisture content. The number of different starter effect highly significant (p≤0.01) for yield, starch content, texture. The number of a long  fermentation different effect highly significant (p≤0.01) for yield, starch content, texture. The number of starter different effect not significant (p≥0.05) on moisture content. Treatment interaction effect is not significant (p≥0.05) for yield, content starch, texture and moisture content.Keywords : Manihot esculenta, mocaf, starter, fermentation

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the  color type  of effective wet traps in controlling pests of fruit flies on starfruit plants by using Group Randomized Design (RAK) Non factorial with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments tested were Methyl eugenol traps + wet without color (P), methyl eugenol traps + Wet blue (Q), methyl eugenol traps wet yellow + (R), methyl eugenol traps wet green + (S), methyl eugenol + red wet traps (T) Methyl eugenol traps wet black + (U). The further testing showed that DMRT + Methyl eugenol traps wet yellow significantly affected catches of fruit flies.Keywords : methyl eugenol, sex feromone,wet trap

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth response of some kind of clone of cocoa ( Theobroma cacao L. ) with an organic fertilizer in a polybag with using randomized block design (RBD ) factorial with 2 factors studied , namely : The first factor is Organic Fertilizer ( O ) divided into 3 levels ie O0 = Without Giving , O1 = Amazing Bio Fertilizer Growth ( ABG ) and O2 = Fertilizer Super Bionic , and the second factor varieties Cocoa ( K ) is divided into three types namely TSH K1 = 858 , K2 = 70 and K3 = RCC PA 300 . While the parameters measured were plant height ( cm ) , number of leaves ( blade ) , stem diameter ( mm ) , leaf area ( cm ) , root fresh weight ( g ) , stem fresh weight ( g ) , root dry weight ( g ) , stem dry weight ( g ) and root volume ( cc ) . The results showed that the use of organic fertilizers provide a significant effect on the parameters of plant height , leaf number , stem diameter , leaf area , stem fresh weight , and root volume and provide no real influence on the parameters of the wet weight of the rod . Treatment varieties only significant effect on plant height parameters , and no real influence on the other parameters .While the interaction of treatment showed a marked influence on the parameters for a high cocoa seedlings and other parameters showed no real difference.Key wordas : organic fertilizer, growth, cocoa

Abstract

The high genetic variability is important to produced the new improved rubber clones . To get superior progenies can be obtained by crossing between long genetic distance parental.  At the present, rubber clones comes from the genetic materials of Wickham expedition in 1876. To increase the genetic diversity of the rubber, has been carried out expeditions to Brazil through organization of IRRDB ( International Rubber Research and Development Board ) in 1981 . A total of 15 selected accessions of IRRDB materials will be used in breeding programs to assemble the more productive superior clones in the future . Genetic information can be found by using molecular markers by RAPD technique. The purpose of study to determine the genetic distance of 15 germplasm accessions  of the expedition IRRDB 1981 and two clones ( PB 260 and BPM 24 ) as compared of Wickham materials. The results showed there is a 75 % genetic similarity ( 25 % genetic distance ) which have two main groups , namely 10 accessions IRRDB materials divided into four subgroups and 5 accessions of IRRDB with 2 accessions of Wickham in other groups. On genetic similarity coefficient ≥ 95 % , accession PN 5579 has the closest relationship to the materials Wickham ( clone PB 260 and BPM 24 ) , while in IRRDB group are between  the accession PN 5808 with PN 807 , PN 803 with PN 1582, PN 5814 with PN 5819 and PN 5788 with PN 5575 .Keywords:  rubber,  genetic relationship, germplasm, moleculer marker

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the concentration of sugar and agar concentration on the quality of banana lunkhead. This research used Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial with (2) two replications. The first factor is the concentration of sugar with a password (G) which consists of four levels, namely: G1 = 20%, G2 = 30%, G3 and G4 = 40% = 50%. Second factor is the concentration of gelatin with a password (A) which consists of 4 levels are: A1 = 3.0%, A2 = 3.5%, 4.0% and A3 = A4 = 4.5%. The parameters observed were: TSS, moisture content, texture, color, flavor and aroma. Statistical Result analysis on each parameter gives the following conclusion: sugar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) in the TSS.  Agar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) in the TSS. Sugar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) in the moisture content.  Agar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) in the moisture content.  Effect of different concentrations of glucose did not significantly (p <0.05) to the texture. Agar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) in the texture.  Sugar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) on the color.   Sugar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) in the flavor and aroma. 3,550 highest flavor and aroma obtained at treatment G4, G1 lowest at 2,425. Agar concentrations highly significant effect (p> 0.01) for flavor and aroma. Flavor and aroma highest obtained at treatment A4 3.363, 2.613 lowest on the A1. Abstract

Study the feasibility analysis and development strategy cattle business was conducted to determine the feasibility and development strategy cattle business. The results obtained by the availability of inputs (seeds, enclosures, modern equipment and labor) at the study site. Economically viable cattle business was developed with revenues of Rp 32,274,213 per year with a B / C ratio of 2.03.
