Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the socio-economic developments that occurred after the Rural Agribusiness Development Program (PUAP). Determination of the area is purposive, ie areas that are already running program PUAP by purposive random sampling method sampling (random accident). Results of hypothesis testing known that Rural Agribusiness Development Program provide a positive influence on society, especially in the field of capital. Evaluation of the implementation of the Rural Agribusiness Development program conducted to see the development of the field. Implementation Jeumpa PUAP in Kuta village is still in the form of Gapoktan and has not developed into MFIs. Rural Agribusiness Development program that BLM PUAP, Guidance Counseling, and Loan Repayment PUAP BLM greatly influence the attitudes of farmers and developing a Rural Agribusiness Program (PUAP) can provide improved field of farmer income increased by 0.16%Keyword : PUAP

Abstract

The aims of this study was to investigate the effect of solid waste (sludge), oil palm and organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of sweet corn . The experiment was a factorial randomized block design with three replications, consisting of two factors, the first factor studied : solid waste (sludge), palm oil (S), with the solid waste ( sludge ), oil palm (S0), 3 to 4 kg/plot (S1), 6.8 kg/plot (S2), the second factor is a liquid organic fertilizer (D), without fertilizer (D0), 1.5 ml/l of water (D1), 3 ml/l of water (D2) and 4.5 ml/l of water (D3). The parameters measured were plant height (cm), leaf (leaves), leaf width (cm), stem diameter (cm), ear length (g), ear weight sampling (g), ear weight plant (g), ear weight perplot (kg). Giving solid waste (sludge), oil palm showed a noticeable effect on ear length parameters per sample, ear diameter, ear weight and ear weight per plant per plot. Liquid organic fertilizer showed a noticeable effect on the number of leaves per sample ear length, ear diamete , ear weight and ear weight per plant per plot. The combination of solid waste (sludge) palm oil showed a significant influence on plant height, leaf number, stem diameter, ear length per sample, the diameter of the ear, ear weight and ear weight per plant per plot. Keywords : palm oil, organic fertilizer, sweet organic

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the ratio of farmer income before and after assistance and to determine the effect SAFVER program (land, fry, feed, and drugs-drugs) on the increase tiger shrimp farmers' income. Sampling method using Simple Random Sampling and analytical methods used are different test score - average and Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. Results of different test average - average based on the value of t - 13:27 count> t - 2:06 table means there is a difference between the farmer’s income before and after SAFVER assistance. Contribution of SAFVER program on the tiger shrimp farmer’s income are based on the value of t - 4:30 count> t - table 2:06 the real impact on tiger shrimp farmers' income. Juveniles, based on the value of t-count -3.68> t - 2:06 table then a real negative effect on the tiger shrimp farmer’s income. Feed, based on the value of t-2:54 count > t - 2:06 table then significantly affect revenues tiger shrimp farmers. Drugs, based on the value of t-hitung 1:00 <t - 2:06 table then not significantly for tiger shrimp farmers income. But from the F test shows that the vast land, fry, feed, and medicine - oabatan significantly affect on the incomes of tiger shrimp farmers.Keywords: safver, tiger shrimp, income

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of time and temperature on the quality of the resulting starch avocado seed. This study used a completely randomized factorial design with two replications. Temperature factor with four level 1: S1: 40 0C, S2: 50 0C, S3: 60 0C and S4: 70 0C. Factor 2 time four levels ie: W1: 6 hours, W2: 7 hours, W3: 8 hours and W4: 9 hours. The results showed the temperature and the W1 S1 shows a very different effect on yield, moisture content, carbohydrate content and color. However, the interaction effect of treatment showed no significant difference. The results showed the temperature and drying time gives a very real effect on yield, moisture content, carbohydrates, and starches avocado color.Keywords: avocado seed, Persea Americana Mill, starch

Abstract

The experiment was conducted using the case study method. Aims to analyze how much influence the use of factors of production, namely land area (X1), seeds (X2), fertilizer (X3), the production of maize (Y). Value of coefficient of determination (R2) in this study was 0.99, meaning that the influence of the factors of production to production can be explained by the four independent variables (X) of 99%, the rest is explained by other factors outside of the study. F value - count 19.45> F-table at 2.78 level of 95% thus H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Simultaneously means there is a real influence among broad land, seed, fertilizer, and labor to the production of corn. Partially significantly affect seed production, while the area of land, fertilizer, and labor did not significantly affect corn production. From the calculation results obtained scale RTS value = 0.98, thus smaller than the RTS (εp <1) then this indicates a state of decreasing returns to scale, which means additional input of land, seed, fertilizer, and labor respectively - each additional 1% exceeded production by 0.98%.Keywords: factors of production, production, Return to Scale

Abstract

Pyrolysis process is carried out in this study using a furnace, the temperature is set ranging from 600,700,800,900 ᵒ C using condenser cooling spiral type. Liquid smoke oil palm shell (ACCKS) produced centrifuge with speed 380 rpm for 30 min, filtered through filter paper and distilled at a temperature of 125 ᵒ C for 20 minutes ACCKS redestilasi analyzed the content of the compound phenol compound and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) using a GCMS.To temperatures of 600 to 900ᵒC was not identified PAH compounds and the higher the temperature the lower the phenol compounds whereas the higher acetic acid compounds.Keuwords: ACCKS redestilation, phenol content, PAH, quality

Abstract

The aim of this study was to preparate and characterize polyurethane foam by using a polyol natural rubber latex. Polyurethane synthesized from polypropylene glycol (PPG), Toluene Diisocyanates (TDI) and polyols Natural Rubber Latex. Polyurethane foam that is formed then characterized by mechanical properties and morphology using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Mechanical properties and morphology of the polyurethane foam is the optimum addition of 50% polyol natural rubber latex in the manufacture of polyurethane foam.Keywords: toluene diisocyanates, polypropylene glycol, polyols, natural rubber latex

Abstract

Research of the effect of cow manure and fertilizer on the growth and production ABG cucumber has been conducted on Tuar street, in the field trials of Agriculture  Faculty, University of Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara street Tuar , District of Amplas  with altitude of 27 meters above sea level with a factorial randomized block design ( RAK - F ) with two treatment factors studied were Granting Manure factor ( K ) which consists of four levels, namely : K0 , K1 , K2 , K3 and Fertilizer factors Giving ABG ( A ) which consists of four levels, namely : A0 , A1 , A2 , A3 . Cow manure treatment showed significant effect on the length of the plant , harvest , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant but did not show a marked influence on the observation of the number of fruits per plant . ABG fertilizer treatment showed significant effect on the length of the plant , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant but showed no significant effect on harvest age and number of fruits per plant . Interaction between cow manure and fertilizer ABG showed a significant effect on plant length , fruit length , fruit diameter , fruit weight per plant , harvest , number of fruits per plant .Keywords : cow manure , fertilizer ABG , growth , production , cucumber

Abstract

This research objectives was  to study the processing Nangka nut to produce Instant drinks.   This research used Completed Randomized Design Factorial with  two factors effect and two reflications. Thouse  effects  were level Natrium Metabisulfit  concentrations(N0 = 0%;, N1 = 0,1%;N2 = 0,2%; dan N3 = 0,3%), and level of adding  concentrations Maltodekstrin (M1= 4%;M2 = 6%; M3= 8%; dan ;M4= 10%) The results of the reasearch showed that Nangka fruit nut submerged in different concentration of Matabisulfit solutions did not cause the different significant effect to carbohydrate and Ash content of product. And other effect to Total Soluble Solid, Rendement, and Orgonoleptic value caushed the different significant effect.  The adding Maltodextrin at different concentrations did not cause the different significant effect to carbohydrate of product. Abstract

The objective of research was to determinate of growth and production of Soja max (Glycine max L.) with provision sludge oil palm andorganic liquid manure. This research was conducted using Randomized Design Group (RAK) factorial with two factors, namely : sludge (S) which consist of three extent that to S0 = Without Giving, S1 = 2,5 kg/plot, and S2 = 5 kg/plot.
