Abstract

This research was conducted to know the effect of production factors (land, seeds, labor, and fertilizers) on the cassava farming income, to know the feasibility of the cassava farming. Census method is used on this research, took all the population of the sample through the method of Cobb-Douglas analysis of, Descriptive and R / C ratio. The results of the research of land variable, seeds, labor and fertilizers significant effect and simultaneously (synchronously) to the income of the cassava farmers.                 In partial significant effect of land variable. Meanwhile the variable of seeds, labor and fertilizers had no significant effect on the the cassava farming income. Based on the analysis of the R / C ratio with a value of 7.5> 1, the cassava farming in the area of research deserves to be developed.Keywords : analysis, income, farming

Abstract

The aims of this study was to evaluate the response of growth and yield of green bean (Vigna radiata L.) against solid organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer. The design used was a factorial randomized block design (RAK-F) with the two factors studied, namely: Factor Nafos Guano organic fertilizer dense (N) consists of 4 levels of treatment that is N0 = without giving,    N1 = 16,88 g / plot (75 kg / ha), N2 = 33,75 g / plot (150 kg / ha) and N3 = 50,63 g / plot (225 kg / ha). Factors Supermes liquid organic fertilizer (S) comprises 3 levels of treatment that is  S0 = without giving, S1 = 1,5 cc / liter of water and S2 = 3 cc / liter of water. The parameters measured were plant height, number of branches, days to flowering, pod weight per plant, weight of pods per plot, seed weight per plot and weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that administration of solid organic fertilizer significantly affect the parameters of plant height, weight of pods per plant and 100 seed weight. Dose of the best applications that N3 = 50,63 g / plot     (225 kg / ha). Liquid organic fertilizer significantly affect the parameters of plant height, days to flowering and pod weight per plant. Dose of the best applications that S2 = 3 cc / liter of water. The interaction between organic fertilizer liquid organic fertilizer dense and not a real effect on all parameters measured. Green bean crop production due to solid organic fertilizer and liquid organic fertilizer is as much as 9427.63 g (1.16 tonnes / ha). Keywords: green beans, nafos guano and supermes

Abstract

Business cassava chips in KUK Sipare-pare Village is one of the businesses at Sipare-pare Village that managed by the use of simply limited technology. The aims of this study was to determine the amount of benefit, feasibility and added value of the business processing cassava into cassava chips at Sipare-pare, Air Putih District, Batu Bara. The basic method used in this research is descriptive method. The determination of the research location was done by intentionally (purposive), KUK Sipare-pare Village,  Air Putih District , Batu Baru. Primary data and secondary data were used by observation, interview and record keeping. Analysis method that used by business analysis to determine the amount of benefit, feasibility and added value. The results showed that the profit earned from the business of processing cassava into cassava chips in a single production process at the KUK Sipare-pare was Rp. 403,518.62, -. with R/C ratio 1.57. Processing of cassava into cassava chips at KUK Sipare-pare Village obtained gross value added of Rp 696,000, - net added value of Rp. 693,518.62, - value added per feedstock Rp 5.800, -/ kg and the value added per worker was Rp. 69,600, - /day.Key words: Analysis, value added, feasibility, cassava chips.

Abstract

This study aims to find ways of making nata with a comparison of sugar and a long fermentation on the quality of nata de banana skin. This study uses a complete Randomized Design (CRD) factorial. The results of statistical analysis on each parameter: The amount of sugar and a long fermentation differ very real effect on yield. The number of long fermentation guladan different effect not significant (p> 0.05) on pH. Number of different sugars affect highly significant (p <0.01) to the TSS. The amount of sugar and a long fermentation different effect highly significant (p <0.01) of thickness. Treatment interaction effect is not significant (p> 0.05) of thickness. The amount of sugar and a long fermentation influence erbeda highly significant (p <0.01) against violence. Treatment interaction effect is not significant (p> 0.05) to violence. The amount of sugar and a long fermentation influence not differ significantly (p> 0.05) for color. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of waste water Soyabean and Urea fertilizer on growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L.(Merrill). Implemented on Jl. KusumaSampali District of Percut Sei Tuan Medan, with altitude of ±25meters above sea level in April toJuly 2013 with a randomized block design  (RBD) Factorial. factorthe firstisthe Liquid Waste Soyabean(T) consists of 3 levels is to (without giving) T1(7.5 ml/plot) and T2 (15 ml/plot). Factor both is Urea Fertilizer(U) consists of 3 levels is U0 (without giving), U1(7.5 g/ plant), and U2 (15 g/ plant). Repeated three times. Results of the study that the administration of liquid waste out effect parameters significantly affect plant height, number of branches, days to flowering, weight of 100 seeds. Whereas urea fertilizer and their interaction effect did  not differ significantly affected parameters, number of branches, days to flowering, number of podsper plot, weight of 100 seeds.Keywords: waste water soyabean, urea fertilizer, growth, product

Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth and yield response of corn ( Zea mays L. ) on chicken manure and liquid organic fertilizer plus . The design used was a Randoimized Block Design Factorial with two factors studied, namely : Chicken Manure Factor ( K ) consists of 3 levels and consists of K0 = 0 kg / plot , K1 = 1.5 kg / plot and K2 = 3 kg / plot. Factor Plus Liquid Organic Fertilizer ( Sea Horse Star ) ( B ) is divided into 4 levels without giving B0 = B1 = 3 ml / l of water , B2 = 6 ml / l of water and B3 = 9 ml / l of water. The parameters measured were plant height ( cm ), number of leaves ( blade ), days to flowering ( days ), ear length ( cm ) , cob weight per sample ( g ), weight of cobs per plot ( kg  , number of seeds per cob ( seed ) and dry weight of seeds per plot ( g ). Abstract

This study uses a complete random design (CRD) with a factorial (2) two replications. The first factor is the amount of sodium bicarbonate with a password (N) consisting of 4 levels, namely: N0 = 0%, 0,1% = N1, N2 and N3 = 0,2% = 0,3%. The second factor is the temperature of the drying with a password (S) which consists of 4 levels, namely: S1 = 550C, 600C = S2, S3 = 650C and S4=700C. The parameters observed were: carbohydrate content, water content, organoleptic color, and texture. In this study, the best treatment to make tortillas durian seed is the N3S4 treatment, the amount of 0.3% sodium bikarbnat and drying temperature 700C. Abstract

Research on the role of sea production diversification to increase of fisherman’s revenues has been conducted, four factors were studied, namely sea mileage, capital, number of diversification, and experience . The study was conducted by using the case study method, by taking a sample of 30 fishermen . Determination of fishermen sampled using stratified random sampling method . To test the hypothesis of the research carried out by using different test average , Regression Analysis , calculated F test , and descriptive analysis . Simultaneously there is a real effect of the distance between the sea , the capital , and the experience of the non- fishing income diversification . Partially, there is no real effect of capital to non- fishing income diversification on the 95% confidence level . In the distance the sea is no real effect of t - calculated value 2.199 > 2.144 and the t - table experience also significantly affect the level of income with indigo 11.865 t count > t - table 2.144 at 95% confidence level . From the test results with the t test , t-test values obtained for mileage at sea is -0.8739 < 2.144 t - table at the 95% confidence level . Capital value of the t test for values obtained 3.7010 t count > t - table 2.144 at 95% confidence level . T test values , for diversification is 109.8938 > t - table 2.144 at 95% confidence level . The results of testing with the t test for the level of experience of the results obtained t - value of -1.0076 count > 2,144 t - table .Keywords : diversification , production , catches , revenues , fishermen

Abstract

                This study was to determine the effect of Aquasym Grades A, B, C and D and Interval watering deli on the growth of tobacco plants (Nicotiana tabacum L). The design used was a randomized block design (RBD) with a pseudo factorial treatment are: A0 = Without Aquasym (Control), A1 = giving aquasym grade A = 5 g / polybag, gift aquasym grade A2 = B = 5 g / polybag, A3 = granting aquasym grade C = 5 g / polybag and A4 = giving aquasym grade D = 5 g / polybag, B0 = Without watering, watering every day B1 = B2 = 3 days watering, watering B3 = 5 days, B4 = watering 7 days of treatment with a combination of B0 A0, A1 B1, A1 B2 A1 B3, B4 A1, A2 B1, A2 B2, A2 B3, B4 A2, A3 B1, B2 A3, A3 B3, B4 A3, A4, B1, B2 A4 , A4 B3, B4 A4. Parameters observed that plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), leaf length (cm), leaf width (cm), leaf thickness (mm), number of leaves (strands), wet weight (g). Abstract

The first aim of this study was to determine the effect of SL - PTT programe ( improved varieties, seed quality, seeding, tillage, planting, watering later, fertilizing, weed control in an integrated, pest and disease control in an integrated , harvest and post- harvest ) to the increase in production rice; both to know the difference before and after the rice production program SLPTT. The population in this study were all farmers who participate in the program the SL - PTT rice growing season in 2012 ( approximately 300 farmers in the district Percut Sei Tuan ). The sample is a portion of the population that is considered to have a number of desirable characteristics with 20-25 % of the population so that 50 samples are drawn at random. Data analysis techniques used method of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis and Test average difference. Statistically Test results obtained multiple R value of 0.99 and an F - count 1034,281> F - 2:49 table at 95% confidence level ( α = 0.05 ), in the sense that there is a significant effect. In Partial test, the best variety (X1)  Seed treatment only grade ( X2 ) and Planting ( X5 ) is significant while the other variables are not significant.
